171 On High Motel

Very clean and tidy

All good

How clean the place was

Clean and tidy, value for money

Location great for access to the pool Staff very friendly and helpful Loved having a late check out Swap a book system!!

Road was a bit noisy but didn't bother us

Room was clean and tidy, and warm (stayed when near freezing outside). Good off-street parking

A nice clean motel. Friendly staff. Room had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

Spacious, comfortable, TVs in both rooms and the lounge, nice, great value for money.

TVs didn’t work in bedrooms, one was able to be used with our own fire stick thank goodness but the one in adults bedroom wasn’t usable at all, owner told me she was in the process of removing it but actually reading the reviews it had been that way for 6 months which meant people had been getting ripped off and not what they’ve paid for for that long and possibly longer, it’s false advertising… there was no extra blankets and no heating in the bedrooms and it was freezing, my daughter woke up in the night cold and upset because of it.

A lovely cosy but spacious unit, with a comfortable bed, and good water pressure in the shower. Friendly welcoming staff, and unit was well-appointed.

Friendly staff

Comfortable, cosy unit that had all we needed for overnight stop over

All was fine ..Perhaps value.. seemed high for room size and age..

Fantastic willing staff to assist with all requests

Bedrooms a little cold, no heating

Very clean, compact unit.

Outdoor area needed a tidy up, woke to scaffolding been put up on the building with no warning from the staff.

We had a good room that had a comfortable bed Wifi was good

The beds was extremely comfortable and the little touches in the room made our stay warm and homey.

I'm definitely going to stay again the room was very clean very well appointed with everything needed. Value was awesome and my usual motel was booked out for my late minute stay when I called yet online later I found it wasn't ggrrr . Fortunately I chose well and have found my new Blienham location I will be patronising. I must add the lady in charge runs a tight ship and was so lovely she made my trip. Kim of memory serves me?

The company I took

Na

The shower was over the bath which is not good for older people like us. A builder working on one of the units made it quite noisy in the afternoon

Huone oli sitä mitä luvattiin ja oli muutenkin viihtyisä. Huoneessa ei ollut valittamista.

Great facility. Enjoyed my stay here

Comfortable for a one night stop after a long drive

Too much furniture, oversized chair.

Location

Bedroom tvs not connected, could do with a proper clean not just the cosmetic.

The motel is great value for money, the staff are friendly and were very accommodating. The room was spotless.

Good size clean and tidy

Was tidy and very well kept

Location

Cleanliness was well below pat

Location was excellent. Beds very comfortable. Staff helpful.

Nothing, would stay there again.

Had a great stay here with my partner. The room was tidy and super clean when we arrived, and the spa bath was such a nice touch for a relaxing night in. Loved having Sky TV, free WiFi, and all the little extras like milk, tea/coffee. Hair dryer provided too which is always appreciated. Location is really convenient and the on site parking made everything easy and stress free. Overall a really comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back!

Only small downside was the slightly awkward room layout, when you open the door you’re pretty much right at the bed which gave us a laugh. Not a big deal at all, just something to note. Otherwise, a great stay!

The staff were very friendly

It was dirty, smelt weird. Stains on the couches, they were old and not comfortable. Mould up the curtains.

Location was fine.

the stairs as we are an older couple

Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and heat pump worked well during a very cold night.

Good location near town centre, friendly staff. The room was really clean and looked updated , nice white sheets and towels and had all the utensils I needed to make simple meals. I was asked if I wanted fresh milk and a little bottle was provided - a nice touch. I was given recommendations on what to do and what dining was available. Very helpful. I had read some of the reviews complaining about the noise, but to be honest, I didn’t really notice.

The only thing that stops me from giving 10 is that the WiFi is not great! The Sky TV is fine but it is really only the sports channels that worked, and some others but nothing that would interest the regular person. It was a smart tv but the WiFi was not strong enough to stream anything and it was not tuned in to regular tv channels either so could not watch the news or anything. I know that people normally only stay for a night or so but I was there for a couple of nights and it would have been good to have either better WiFi or regular tv. Also a blind inn the bathroom would be good!

Clean, well-appointed room. Very comfortable bed. Good working AC. Free on-site parking. Did read some previous reviews about noise from being on a busier road — didn’t find we noticed it much and we stayed in the second closest room to the street upstairs. Good communication from reception. Room was on the smaller side but was perfect for staying the night passing through! Would recommend.

Nothing we didn’t like!

Parking was close to our room. This made it easy to unpack and pack

Everything…was an awesome place to stay.

We stayed in an upstairs 2-brm unit. It was very clean, fresh, not shabby or dated as we are used to in this price range.

The couch is not very comfy, and remotes were missing from the TVs in the bedrooms (yes, both bedrooms had TVs as well as the lounge!)

Very clan and tidy

Was all good

Alles sehr gut , sogar mal Haken in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Für eine Übernachtung 👍

Etwas klein aber in Ordnung

Location. Size. Suitable for two adults and our dog.

Clean, comfortable and great value!

Very comfortable bed. Close to town centre but easy access to nearby sites. Spacious apartment.

High street can be quite busy and noisy. Kitchen lacked a selection of pots.

Clean and tidy

Conveniently located in the centre of town

This was the most uncomfortable stay we have had on our trip and looked like it was not a very good area as buildings were falling down around you and just looked like the bad side of town.

Staff were very helpful. Let us bag drop as we arrived very early.

No room service at all!

Great location to town. Very clean.

No breakfast provided, but cannot remember if that was an option It was close to the town center, but then again nothing is far in Blenheim. Beds were comfy, and the room was pretty quiet, so that was good

No hair in the bath would have been a good start. Facilities were decent, but the pictures on the booking site are a bit better than the real deal. Quite an interesting location to say the least, views of "the 'hood". People should really take better care of their backyards and stop collecting junk - that was our view from the bedroom windows. Good smell of old fragrant curry permeated the unit as well....

Location as it was close to whet I was visiting and the upgrade to a large room .

Room was close to the main road therefore no sleep in due to busy early morning traffic (Real early )most of the Channel weren’t working due to a technical issue . So couldn’t watch the rugby .

Great space, lovely bath and super comfortable bed! Staff were very friendly and helpful!

Room was ok , just nothing special about the stay

Stayed for three nights and rubbish was not cleared or towels changed.

Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen, and quiet

narrow staircase to upstairs....difficult with large luggage. Location was fine, room smaller than expected for price. However.. room spotless and well provided with all traveller needs..i.e. toiletries, internet, heating and peaceful sleep.
