Lugano Motor Lodge

Good central location near cafes and restaurants. Host friendly and studio was excellent

Location and helpfulness of staff comfortable bed

Dull lighting, no hob or oven and low water pressure in the shower. TV system not easy to operate.

Friendly staff, good service - pleasant, comfortable unit.

We had a wonderful welcome. Incredibly clean and a comfortable bed. Very cloae to town.

Very clean and warm with a very comfortable bed.

Such a great stay. Mary went above and beyond and has such good knowledge about local roads! Was very good to us after we got stuck in the weather events this week.

There was an air-fryer in the cupboard! Perfect to warm up and toast the roll we had to go with our dinner. Perhaps have some paper towels to wipe it out before washing. Delicious coffee, biscuits, and hot chocolate sachets supplied. Great shower pressure. Very comfy beds. Warm and cosy with the heat pump. Fantastic location! Just a very short safe walk around to the Whitehaven (ASB) Theatre Show Complex. One of the best places we have stayed in Blenheim. We travel over frequently from Nelson for Shows, and School things.

A lot of mention of "Don't cook strong smelling foods, or You'll get fined" .. and " or the smoke and fire alarm will go off, and You'll get fined " I'd never cook curry or fish in a motel. Haven't experienced bad food smells in NZ motels before , luckily..

Location perfect. Very roomy and appreciated this was an upgrade from a studio to one bedroom. Bed was so comfy. And the kitchen so well equipped.

Electric blanket perhaps

Great location. Room was clean and had everything you need.

Nothing I didn't like.

Nice and tidy. Quite for pretty much in town. Will definitely stay again

Excellent location, spotless room, staff engaged well and was very helpful.

More pillows for the bed would have been great, the toiletries weren't full.

all good

Great location, was clean, and nice comfortable furniture. Small kitchen area but adequate, poor water flow in shower is only complaint, nd the WiFi was slow.

Was up to expectations overall.

Location

.

Great location close to the park and shops. Easy to get to mountain bike park. Plenty of cafés and bars in walking distance.

We did feel like everyone walking past our room could see in, although we were told the glass is privacy glass, we thought sheer curtains would provide more of a feeling of privacy. Only a small issue, but it would possibly influence our choice of room next time. Eg upstairs at the end of the walkway.

Dated and tired, but I must awas very quite with double glazing. Stayed 3 nights and was shocked that towels were not changed, rubish bins were emptied While accommodation was not bad, the statement on advert states "High quality accommodation" and "Chic Interiors complete with double glazing, quality linens, modern artwork and contemporary amenities" all sadly to say were not present , with exception of double glazing. Spa bath had sign saying do not use the taps as cannot be turned off!!

Well located and friendly staff

A little dated and the tv was a little temperamental

The room was very clean but felt dining room chairs needed recovered. Cupboard was well stocked with tea coffee chocolate. Nice choice shampoo hand lotion. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Bath needed replaced with walk in shower very difficult for elderly people to use.

Handy location and good value for money.

Great location, spotlessly clean, well appointed, very comfortable with helpful staff.

Absolutely nothing not to like here!

This was a pleasant, comfortable stay. The room was clean and well stocked with utensils, including an air fryer; having never used one I had to ask for an instruction book, which was soon supplied. The supply of tea, coffee and biscuits was also very good.

Although tea towel and dish cloth was provided there was no hand towel in the kitchen - a minor quibble and it is not the one stay like it.

Close to town and restaurants

Lights need to be brighter

Mooi gebouw. Vlakbij een restaurant en supermarkt. Parkeerplek voor de deur

Such an amazing host and such a quiet soundproof room Awesome location right in Blenheim across from Seymour square. Fast as internet . Complimentary biscuits and a actual proper small bottle of milk none of these silly milk pods most places now have. A smokers area..easy walking to supermarket and other places. Also a bike hire option for free. I arrived early last minute and the owner was kind enough to get my room ready and let me check in early. Super nice host with lots of knowledge...I'll definitely stay again if I'm around Blenheim.

Absolutely nothing..it was extremely enjoyable

Location excellent

Fabulous location, lovely owner and great facilities

Nothing

Did not order breakfast. Clean and tidy, staff helpful.

There is a major problem with the televisions due to the system they use which is streaming, very unreliable and annoying.

Close to the event that i was attending. The young man that checked me in was friendly and a true gentleman, the cleaner was engaging and deserves a raise lol. The shower was amazing and the towels were so soft. Our highlight was the carpet!

Nothing it was a nice place.

Super room in Central location

Everything was better then expected.

All good

Quarto grande e confortável. Recepção muito amigável e ótima localização.

Nada.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Großer Fernseher, gute Internet Verbindung. Gute Lage neben einem Park. In Laufnähe Restaurants und Cafés.

Was central to city and opposite the lovely square which is beautiful

Our toaster was broken

Very good location to town with very friendly & helpful staff and manager. Very clean.

Nothing

Good location, clean and spacious rooms.

Bathrooms could do with a refurbishment to install a proper shower rather than shower over bath.

Well placed in the heart of town and close to the Taylor river walkways. Beautifully clean, comfortable bed and lovely soft towels. Only grizzle is that there was no recycling bin in the room so I took my recyclables home with me. No single use products in the bathroom or kitchenette though. Very friendly and helpful staff

Close to everything

Nothing

Staff were excellent on arrival and during our extended stay (was a 4 night trip, extended another 2 nights + another 4 nights). Staff blocked out dates for us as we had a sick family member & then a funeral to attend. They went out of their way to make our time at Lugano memorable. Wifi was a little difficult sometimes, but a reset sorted this issue. Bed comfortable, a little noise from road, clock tower but an excellent stay.

Modern spacious unit in a central location opposite a lovely park with a fountain and clock tower. Restaurants and shops just a few minutes walk away. Some furnishings are getting a bit jaded eg. chair coverings, but was a pleasant stay with friendly, helpful staff.

Clean and tidy accommodation. Handy walk to town and shops. Very comfortable beds and pillows.

Lovely place to stay

Great service, great room!

The receptionist was so lovely the room was fine and it was ventral.

Beautiful spot in a beautiful town. Our accommodation was very spacious and clean. Loved it here!

Great location, great staff, comfortable room

Fairly average accomodation. Quite expensive for what you get.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent 5 minutes walk to the central shopping area. The unit was great and super clean.

Can't beat the location, walking distance to everything in town. Room was large, kitchen well appointed, could have used a bigger more comfortable couch given the room slept 6 but the couch only had room for 3 but everything was clean and the staff were lovely.

Very central

Could do with a bit more maintenance, obvious water damage in bathroom and kitchen. Dry but damaged

Great friendly service. Beware they have an electric blanket underneath the bedding in case you have adverse reactions to it like me. They are happy to remove it if requested.

Everything was amazing from the moment we checked in we were treated like family guests, nothing was any trouble for the staff. Rooms were brilliantly furnished and very clean

Excellent accommodation. Centrally located and very clean and modern. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Great location, friendly staff

Adequate accommodation- comfy & clean but a little dated and basic. Staff very nice and helpful. Internet was rubbish (1st world problems I know, but meant kids couldn’t even watch free view).

Clean modern close to centre nice short walk to all shops, owner very nice and welcoming, rooms are nice clean and modern.

Nothing

Friendly check in. Room very comfortable but let down by old soap in the shower, wifi that kept freezing and tv that froze every few minutes. Ended up using own data. Disappointing stay.

Nice rooms and handy with small kitchenette. Easy to walk around town from motel. Staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, staff were super friendly and helpful and the room was perfect, with great facilities. It was on the ground floor but the sliding doors were tinted for privacy. Short walk from the main high street and restaurants!

Amanda was very attentive to making our stay wonderful.

Location was great - so close to town

All was good
