Some broken locks on the windows, but pretty nice caravan. Staff were lovely.

The room was very smelly.. like people smoke inside or have. Very strong. Ok for one night… loved the free dvd rental!

Pretty great experience. Only downsides were that the hot water wasn't turned on in our chalet so we didn't have hot showers in the morning. There was something else but I've completely forgotten!

The tourist unit was sparkling clean and exactly what we needed for a short stopover. would have liked to stay longer to relax and enjoy the parks facilities. The perfect kiwi holiday camp experience. Thank you

Staff where really kind and outgoing, helpful,clean premises unfortunately the curtains had mould.

Chalet was clean and comfortable. Perfect for what we needed. The only (minor) quibble would be the low pressure in the shower. Otherwise all good.

Quiet and cozy.

There was an amazing number of beds, room was huge. Heating was a big issue, there is only 1 heater which is unable to heat up the entire room. Heater was very dusty too. Water taps are either extreme hot or extreme cold. No toiletries not even shower gel or shampoo provided. Maybe its great for summer or hot weather days. Not for winter.

We had a great stay in the tourist flats. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Our kids enjoyed the trampoline and the ping pong table.

My cabin was warm, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shared bathroom facilities were clean and efficient. Would stay again.

Lovely spot, away from the swags of prople in town. Great facilities. We stayed in the caravan, it was nice, but the bed a little small for the two of us. We wished we had taken a sleeping bag, so one of us could have slept on the couch by the table. Water has to be got from the camp kitchen for a cuppa. And dishes washed there too. Would like to say again in one of the tourist flats.

Great place to stay

A delight to stay in the location just outside the township of Hanmer. Cabin was good. Facilities in the common areas clean - a bit old school, but in a good way.

Quiet site less than 2km from downtown, perfect little "mountain" retreat! Clean and well maintained facilities, lots of activities & a pool to keep everyone entertained. Enjoyed the self-contained cabins with TV & DVD players, with a selection of DVDs to borrow at Reception! Felt like the good ol days of going to Blockbuster

A beautiful and no nonsense place to stay when in Hanmer Springs. Every time I stay, I wish I could stay longer.

Wonderful place to stay and is dog friendly, our chalet was by the bush and was lovely and quiet, except for the birds singing which was so beautiful. Handy to town.

I liked that it was clean and tidy and the amenities were really close. The kitchen cabin was lovely and clean but had a bit of a musty smell. Opening the window sorted that. The place had lots of trees and allowed dogs which was great. It was very quiet though there were quite a few people for this time of year - lovely. Instructions for the tv and a toaster could have been useful but also it was only a cabin.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities are brilliant for anyone but especially those with children. Clean and well presented cabin, shared bathrooms were clean and inviting, kitchen was well maintained and felt clean, and the grounds were beautiful. Games room, playground ,and hire bikes well loved by the kids!

Was a great place for kids and adults, plenty to do and very pleasant people at reception. The shower & toilet block was lovely and clean at all times. Would certainly recommend to others.

We stayed in a Caravan and it worked out great as I was traveling with my adult son so the couches in the space worked well for sleeping. Host was very accommodating when we asked for extra blankets and pillows.

The property is old but well kept Hard to keep warm. Was a very cold night.

Staff were awesome! Very friendly with a humour. They even warmed the rooms up for our late arrival. Property was nice and clean. Would recommend.

Beautiful little dog friendly spot, we had a chalet that looked onto a tree lined area, was private and peaceful. Nice and clean interior, beds were quite firm but comfortable. Had everything we needed.

Great hosts and warm welcome when we arrived. Answered all our questions about the local area. Gave us advise and recommendations re places to visit, things to do and an awesome Indian Restaurant, Spicer's Village, for dinner. Chalet was very comfortable and a great place to relax. Really enjoyed our overnight stay in Hanmer Springs at the Alpine Adventure Holiday Park. Huge shout out to the ladies and gents who manage the park.

Great place for my young kids to stay and explore.

I always stay here when travelling through Hanmer. It is economical, quiet and roomy. There is room in the tourist flat for 7 people. Ideal for families or intergeneration groups.

We stay one night family of 5 with kids so it was great kids love the area we stay on a kitchen cabin it was good for us .

Easy, quick check in. Quick drive to town.

We enjoyed our stay, rooms where tidy and fit our large group. Toilet and shower where maintaines to a high standard, the shower had good pressure and where easy to use. The kids loved the playground and the games room. The dog was welcomed as well. Not far from the main town centrr. We will be back.

Very quiet, small unit but modern. Had good tv to watch the All Blacks game.

Very nice here I have 3 children and they loved exploring the grounds it was very safe for us to walk to the toilet ect at night nice and warm room excellent staff highly recommend

We were very impressed by the cleanliness and amount of towels & blankets. Had good heating and happy it had a carport as it rained overnight and the next morning. Check in was easy too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to all.

What a great holiday park, we will definitely come back. Free DVD rental , nice kitchenette setup in the tourist flat, warm and lots of blankets! Lots of space, great playground. Wish we wouldve stayed longer!

We stayed with our little dogs, the reason we chose this place. There was plenty of space for them to walk.

Our family had a great stay. The rooms were warm, spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had lots of family fun in the games room.

This was a great place to stay with the kids, good playground, plenty of space to run around and the cabin was very clean.

All is fine except the kitchen needs the chopping board and a proper knife to cut the meat and vegetables.

We stayed in the Chalets which were comfortable and clean, perfect size for families, the playground, games room and on-site pool were fabulous to keep my 3 young children busy, the on-site kitchen was well equipped and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
