Everything to like. Spacious, comfortable, quiet. Well equipped, and a noticeable attention to the little extras to ensure a comfortable stay. Would recommend highly.

- peace and feel is a cozy cabin - great layout for a family (2 separate bedrooms) - warm and well heated and great little kitchenette - hot shower - kids loved the play equipment and space to run without impacting neighbours - location - easy drive from Christchurch airport and well located in Hamner Springs itself (definitely visit the Hot Pools and Waterslides!, the fairy walk is also quite cool). Also visit Murchinson’s The Natural Flames Experience (https://www.naturalflames.co.nz) - well worth the drive! We did on the way to Nelson but easy day trip for something uniquely awesome. - host was super friendly - well priced - the view to enjoying cuppa/drink in the front porch - serene forest and mountains

- could use a little couch instead of 2 armchairs in the lounge for that bit more comfy relaxing

Great area up on the hill. Units are a good length away from each other making it nice and private. Lovely staff. Nice and warm and clean.

I liked the location and thought the chalet was spacious and had everything you needed. Comfortable beds, sky and good parking. Good heating in every room. Electric blankets on beds was a bonus

Mould was forming around bath tub and on toilet wall. Light shades were in need of a clean.

Super cosy, lovely spa bath and well kitted out kitchen area. Overall great vibes!

We always stay here. It is located in a beautiful peaceful outlook. Clean with all the facilities you need. Very relaxing and the owner is always so helpful and welcoming.

Alpine cabin - toasty warm, comfy bed, lovely clean towels and linen.

Great location close to center of Hamner, Very lovely Chalet. A little dated but very clean and very friendly staff at check in. We didnt find the bed that comfortable. but that is a perosnal thing. Chalet had all the kitchen equipemnt to cook in the unit and we did!. Everything worked perfect and great heaters in Lounge and Bedroom (Weather was a it chilly!)

This place was amazing our friends were not able to join us at our main accommodation due to size of the group but this was the perfect spot for them to unwind and rest after a day out with our large group, and they were close enough to us. Great place

Such a superb spot, no road noise only the birds. Also fantastic view of the snow capped mountains. Tranquil and quiet - just lovely.

Heaters were going on arrival even though we hadn't advised an arrival time, so that was very welcoming. Location was convenient. Chalet was clean and beds comfortable.

Small 2 bedroom chalet - living area was quite small and the lounge chairs were rather uncomfortable, 3 chairs for 4 bed spaces but you couldn't fit any more anyway. Bathroom very narrow and shower head was way too low.

The location was great within walking distance from town centre. For a short stay - great

Great location Clean Comfortable beds

Location was the 1 thing we liked about it.

Bed was too firm for our liking, the seats in the dining/lounge were lacking in padding and were uncomfortable. One side of the couch when you sat on it leaned into the middle. No fan in the bathroom meant that it steamed up too easily. This unit needed to be updated, we felt that the unit was probably the oldest of the lot on this property.

Beautiful setting within native bush/planting away from the Main Street, but still in walking distance to the village and pools. Spacious cottage, warm and cosy. Very friendly staff.

The location was great with kids. Plenty of room to keep our 5 mountain bikes in the porch area of our unit. Room was clean and warm with lots of spare blankets.

The 4th single bed was a folding bed not a normal bed. Luckily we were putting our kids in the single beds not an adult as it was definitely more suitable for kids. I may have missed this somewhere when booking but I was expecting 4 single beds.

The custodian was lovely and helpful. The property was clean and tidy.

The cabin we were in was a little dated. Master bed too hard and Shower pretty average.

It is a Motel, but provides much more privacy and comfort than usual motels do. The location is very convenient - it is a short walking distance to the pools and, at the same time, out of the busy area giving impression of park/forest setting.

Only problem with our unit was the springs in the couch were broken so wasn't very comfortable.

It would be nice to have a couch for comfortable seating but I understand the space maybe too small for it. Windows leaking condensation all over the floor in the toilet and one of the beds in the bedroom.

It was clean & warm and comfy. Handy location to township.

Great owner, very friendly and helpful. Lovely setting and quiet even though all chalets were booked out. Kitchen well stocked and functional, shower hot and good pressure.

It was pretty cold and frosty with clear nights and the heating just wasn’t up to it. I was never comfortably warm. The couch is a shocker if you need something with support and comfort

The place was clean.

The wifi instructions were incorrect in the guest book. They didn't pick up out towels and replace as the instructions said in the guest book.The male staff member was unpleasant when we asked for help with the TV remote, bordering on arrogant. My daughter left some children's clothes and a charger there and he was blunt and left us feeling uncomfortable about it even though we went back to get it as we hadn't left Hanmer.

Gorgeous and spacious little cabin, had everything we needed for our couple of nights.

The only downside was the queen bed was a tiny bit lumpy and uncomfortable and we woke up with sore backs

The chalet we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed. The outlook was beautiful. The location feels quiet and peaceful, set away from the main village but still a very close walk to get there. We will definitely return to stay here. We have previously stayed in hotels but this was a whole lot nicer.

I'm not sure really - perhaps a couch instead of the seats but it was fine for our purpose.

It is a very cute place, warm and cosy. Self contained, had everything you needed and more.
