Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Overall our stay with Harvest Lodge was great. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. The owner was very polite. The spa tub was awesome!!! So luxurious. Close stay to the main town centre. Perfect location
I tripped over a large pothole in the middle of the lawn that was not marked, rolling my ankle quite badly. I spoke with the owner who said she would get it sorted the following morning which she did, which i was very grateful for.

A great place to stay a large guest suite was with nice comfortable and clean rooms in a great location was perfect for our stay in Havelock North.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful and allowed me to leave my vehicle in the car park after I had checked out. A huge apartment with a very comfortable bed and nicely appointed throughout. A lovely outdoor area is included with this apartment but unfortunately the weather was not ideal for sitting outside.
Everything was perfect and I have no suggestions for improvement.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025We were absolutely thrilled with the Motel from check-in and throughout our stay. The staff were exemplary and very welcoming. Very well organized with the parking and cleanliness was fabulous. The room (12) was very spacious with a very well set out three rooms - lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. The rooms were spotless and well furnished with modern, comfortable chairs in the lounge area. The bed was very comfortable. Another TV in the bedroom was also a bonus. The spa bath was also very large along with a lovely shower with excellent water pressure. Supplies of shower products, excellent towels and the size of the bathroom impressed. There was no road noise at all. The small outside seating area was also lovely as it was private. The staff were very efficient and cleaned the room with skill. We have stayed in many Motels all over NZ and this stay was one of the very best. Well done to the staff and the management. We would definitely stay here again.
