Porters Boutique Hotel

Very handy location

Not much at all

Everything - but the bathrooms were a standout. The underfloor heating was awesome

Beautiful hotel and great staff

Great location, excellent condition

Lovely hotel, so convenient

Really no negatives

The room was beautiful and very spacious. Excellent location and the staff were so beautiful and friendly.

Clean, tidy, nice staff.

The carpet is a wee bit worn.

Spacious well done rooms with excellent food from the restaurant.

The room was very comfortable and well designed. The Staff/Management were very welcoming and helpful with our queries regarding activities. Although not part of the hotel, the adjoining restaurant was excellent for dinner.

The location

Argumentative front of reception. Fire doors were wedged open, increasing our risk when staying there. When we bought this to their attention they were augmentative and kept the door wedged open

Room was generous in size and very comfortable. Very clean and nice decor. Was lovely to have doors that open up to a little deck and nice to feel fresh air. Amenities had everything we needed. Restaurant was superb - highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable well equipped room in a great central location

What a lovely hotel, convenient central location, easy parking, cosy rooms and lovely staff that were so friendly and helpful.

Everything was superb

Clean well maintained staff fabulously helpful

The room was spacious and quiet and very comfortable. handy to shops restaurants and vineyards

Everything except for the breakfast option in a cafe across the road which was not up to expectation and was expensive for the amount served

The hotel itself was exceptionally good 👍 👌 Breakfast options not good in cafe across the road

Great service from front of house staff, as well as the cleaning staff.

There was nothing to not like.

It is lovely property in central Havelock North so very convenient. It was clean and comfortable. Mali Restaurant was excellent.

The service was amazing everyone was so happy

Nothing

Perfect location to explore wine country. Nice and friendly town. Staff was great.

It was very central in Havelock North, very nice though noisy room , but enough space to put all our luggage, right in the heart of winecountry, so optimal!

The noise was at gimesy ittitating but thsnkfully not all night, right on the corner of s crossing!

Clean and comfortable.

There was a balcony but as the view outside was a courtyard and other balconies with no privacy, I didn’t feel inclined to use it. The predominant colour of the room was grey. No vanity set.

Quiet room with good facilities.

This hotel is really nice. Good, big room, balcony, nice and clean. Laundromat free for guests. Good location, and really nice restaurant beside the hotel. Easy and free parking. Havelock North is a surprisingly cozy town with good shops and nice places to eat.

The only thing I missed was a good breakfast.

Absolutely perfect, wish I could have stayed longer

Same as other review

We loved everything about this hotel. Fantastic staff, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, excellent location. Easy to access the cycle trails from this hotel along with plenty of dining options.

Nothing!

Very clean, well appointed and tasteful. It is very well located and quiet. The staff were super helpful and very friendly, even unpacking the groceries we had ordered to the room ahead of time. We stayed with our seven year old and seven month old and it worked well with the children. They provided us with lots of information in advance and upon arrival about what would and wouldn’t be open over the Christmas period so we weren’t caught off guard.

The AC struggled a bit with the heat but not enough to deter us from staying again.

Cleanliness and location Friendly staff

Space is quite small for my personal preference Poor management of valet parking

Well appointed rooms, very large with comfortable beds.

Unfortunately as we visited over Christmas day and boxing day their restaurant was shut.

We are in a tour of New Zealand staying in 4 or 5 star hotels . This was by far the best so far . Everything about porters was excellent . The restaurant next door. Malo was an added bonus

Facilities very comfortable and clean

There was no magnifying mirror in bathroom and no body lotion. Refrigerator needed a defrost.

Great location with nice shopping. Good selection restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy drive into Napier about 20 mins. Napier is wonderful art deco town centre.

Room was clean and well laid out, staff were very welcoming and helpful

Everything!! Try Restaurant Malo.

Nothing.

Booking .Com not debiting my credit card twice for same booking anf being so difficult to deal with.

Well appointed, great amenities such as mini-kitchen, large bathroom and rooms, perfect location in the centre of Havelock North, underground parking. Always so easy to arrive, check in and relax - staff excellent.
