Great service and an even better location! Will be returning back in the future. Would highly recommend as the Puri Raja is in a great location close to the beach with many great restaurants and bars close by.

The staff are always attentive and friendly, nothing was too much bother. They have an outside business that runs the spa area within the hotel which is very handy and inexpensive. The hotel although older is kept very clean and it is in a great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants plus it is across from the beach. It has two pools one with a pool bar. The other pool has a seperate bar in a garden setting. The breakfast has a menu selection all you can eat which is the same each day and is served to your table (not buffet) .

Great location facing the beach. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Breaky was good. Lots of different egg options which they cooked for you. Freshly squeezed juices and fruit was really nice. Nice having breaky overlooking the beach every morning. Two nice pools. We just stayed at the front one with swim up bar. Cocktails were fabulous made from genuine spirits not Bali brand. Heaps to select from and our barman Gus was terrific. Lots of fun at the bar. Lunch menu was good to and inexpensive. I found all the staff at the resort were very nice and friendly.

They didn't have money exchange at Reception. I would have like to have been able to buy a nice Australian or NZ wine from their bar but they only had the Bali wine which isn't great. The restaurant The Lokal across the road on the beach did have nice wine so I just bought it from them.

It's a little bit old school, not quite resort, just right for me & my GF, we've been going to Puri Raja for many years. The gardens are always impeccable, the staff always friendly and the rooms always welcoming. I'll always return to Puri.

We have now found our new home away from home. The staff so friendly and attentive the food always fresh and yummy and the cocktails by the pool could not fault anything at all. Looking forward to coming back.

Excellent location, directly accross the road from the beach. Walking distance to shops, restaraunts, bars etc Good breakfast, was epecting buffet style but it was made to order from the menu. Was lovely to have this on the terrace overlooking the beach. Pool was good at the beach end with swim up bar. A little quite at the pool down the other end. Overall, great place to stay!

Love the location and the rooms - they are a great size including large balcony! Staff are so friendly! Delicious breakfast!

Starting to date a little - peeling paint on walls in our room - probably time for a coat of paint and a refresh!

Rooms are quite small and a bit dark. Bathrooms a bit dated with some mould that is probably unable to be removed - in silicone etc

This is a very good mid level smaller resort. It's a bit tired, but this is what you can expect in Bali in this level of hotel. If you want more, you pay more...

Good location to beach, shops and eating establishments. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn't prevent people "saving" poolside seating and then going off to shops etc. A couple of big groups placed towels on many seats which were not used for long periods. If a person(s) don't use seats for say 30mins then towels/items should be removed to enable others to use the seats.

Bathroom very small, no shower screen so room got very wet. Room was small and a bit tired. Grounds and daybeds etc all need a good scrub and tidy up

Cocktails at the pool bar were outstanding and breakfast was lovely. Rooms are fairly basic, but cold fridge and comfy bed. Location is perfect.

Shower sprayed out of cubicle a bit, but we managed to minimise it.

The breakfast and overall dining .The hotel next Door Mozarella food was far superior. There are a lot of options in the area.poor dining was evidenced by the lack of customers especially in the evenings. Breakfast was supported but only because it was included in the hotel rate. We only had breakfast there once and opted to pay in other venues.

Breakfast was perfect just enough to keep you going through to the afternoon, fresh and well cooked.

Small resort which was perfect for us. Demographic was an older crowd meaning not a party resort and more chilled. staff were just lovely and went out of their way to please. Perfectly positioned ... away from the main stream but close enough to walk and just across the road from the beach, full of great little places to eat .

Day beds need to be monitored as the placing of towels and personal items to reserve in the early morning left none available, some were reserved whilst they went to the beach , shopping etc and not utilised till many hours into the day. Not only selfish and rude guests but the self entitlement is extraordinary. this should not be an issue for those that do the right thing an should be addressed by the resort. The upper level had steep steps, so no good for mobility issues... Bed was not great and small... make sure you select king bed

The staff are exceptional and always go over and above. They take the time to make you feel like a VIP and always greet with a big smile. The rooms are immaculate with very comfortable beds and pillows and the grounds and pool are stunning.

People placed towels on sun lounges early in the morning & then left to come back later. So nobody else could use the sun lounge. I find that very selfish.

From 8 am everyday the lounge pool chairs were taken & had towels on them reserving them for the day even though guests were not there or gone for the day. Hotel does not monitor towels & its unfair for guests who don’t access pool early. Late afternoons it was hard to access beach front pool as guests were drinking around bar at pool many intoxicated. Not a friendly environment to be in. The bedding always felt damp as it was not cotton sheeting, doona etc.
