We arrived on an early flight from Cairns and were so tired, they made sure we could gave an early check-in and on top of that happily accepted a delivery of my graduation regalia from Auckland and looked after that for us. Such amazing service, thank you.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Loved the location of the property, less than a minute to multiple restaurants and Cafes and shops (pharmacy, cloths, you name it). The room was incredibly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The room was so big which was lovely. You were able to open the windows and let fresh air in.
It would be great to upgrade the TVs (smart TVs) so you can stream Netflix from your phone and also have better sound.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Location was perfect, was able to walk anywhere we wanted in town, just parked our car when we arrived and only used it again when we left. Having free parking on site in that location was perfect. The room was the perfect size for what we needed and was super clean. We even got a free upgrade when we arrived!
I have nothing to suggest here at all, we were more than happy with our stay here.

Only the Premium and Deluxe One-Bedroom Suites include individual laundry facilities. Unfortunately, this was not clearly stated on Booking.com, which made the listing somewhat misleading. I paid a higher rate for a Studio Apartment, only to discover upon check-in that it does not include a washing machine, while some lower-priced suite categories do. Had this information been made clearer during the booking process, I would have chosen a different room type. This was quite disappointing.

Was great having a washing machine and dryer seeing we had been on the road for over a week. The location was right in the centre of town so had shops and cafes on our doorstep and a short walk to the Uni, library and Otago museum with the butterfly house.
Was quite noisy on Saturday night but you’re bound to get that on a Saturday night in the middle of town in a Uni city. It was very quiet on Sunday night.

It is in a small traffic accessway, and so there was supply truck noise in the morning. Parking spaces were very tight.
