Great spot. So roomy. Walk to dinner. What’s not to love?

It was a wonderful place to take a break during our trip. Being an apartment meant we could relax without being on our bed. Our planned rest and laundry days were wonderful. The apartment had everything we needed.

Our apartment was clean and very spacious. Location was ideal- so close to the shops, the beach and the harbour. Would come back and stay again.

Perfectly located 100m" on roof gave 360 degree view of the area. from beach and 1 block from "downtown". Area was very quiet and safe. Unique "crwsnest

Large rooms were nice. Full kitchen a plus. Large balcony.

The apartment was a good size, very clean and had a great view of the water from the balcony. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly. It's also in a great location.

The unit was very well appointed and clean. The neighbourhood is quiet but close enough to all the shopping and dining as well the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Very disappointed with the view from the apartment. We looked onto an unfinished wall with a row of apartments looking straight into ours. Not as we expected from the marketing pictures. So, we’re to keep the blinds down for any privacy. I had envisaged relaxing with a nice view. Also very noisy with people moving around in other apartments.

We loved our two night stay - family of four. Used as a base to explore the Coromandel. Beautifully equipped, well appointed and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location right across from accessible beach.

This was an extremely spacious and comfortable apartment. Tastefully decorated with plenty of storage space. Receptionist kindly changed our booking to another apartment with not so many stairs and a lake view. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. Restaurants in walking distance and right near the lake.

Second time staying here - lovely property and very professionally managed! Will stay again when we return.

Great apartment in a great location. We spent 3 nights here and even though the Whitianga weather didn't co-operate, we still loved our stay. Of the places we stayed on this trip, this felt the most like home.

Wonderful property. They upgraded us to penthouse as it was empty during our stay. The hosts are great and very friendly, we HIGHLY recommend this place.

Great location and apartment size. Stayed in a 2 bedroom Unit with everything you would need. However, plumbing issues in one bathroom was a pain with toilet not flushing properly and backfill happening regularly! Previous tenants remains still in the toilet so did raise a concern regarding cleaning! Sink also drained very slowly so was always a mess.

Great location and clean and spacious apartment. Only issue was tha bed wasn’t that comfortable.

Our stay was great, The front reception manager was very helpful. The apartment itself was spacious, modern and comfy ! The apartments are also in a great location; walking distance to everything. We will be returning for sure.

The location was excellent. Could walk everywhere for meals, coffee, beach...

Nice size apartment plenty of room. The down falls were the blinds, unsafe coffee table and parking. We stayed in apartment 3 and had Venetian blinds in the bedroom that didn’t blockout the street light and sun first thing in the morning. The roller blinds in the living area were day/privacy blinds again of a night the street lights and sunlight first thing in the morning weren’t blocked out. The coffee table was glass and had no stoppers so the glass could just slide straight off making it unsafe. Parking was difficult as it was quiet tight being next to a pillar and then on the other side was a board making it difficult to get out of the car and and extra hazard when parking the car. So we parked the car on the road. I would stay at this property again and the pros out weighted the negatives. The property was close to the beach, wharf and restaurants. Overall great location.

All good really. Main benefit was very good sized apartments which would be good value for families. Modern kitchens as well , so can eat in/ out. Comfy bed, satellite tv with all the channels. Couldn’t fault it

Location of the apartments was fantastic - a five minute walk to everything. However our biggest disappointment was the view or lack of it - it certainly didnt match the photo - if fact we overlooked a renovation site and a rather noise backpacker facility. The living area of the apartment was spacious but there was NO room in the bedroom for suitcases so we had to use the living area. Most of the cupboard space was locked - so no hanging space either! Too many stairs up to the lift and again down to the apartment - not ideal for us in our late 60's to be lifting heavy suitcases. Overall - disappointing - wont be recommending it.

Perfect location - away from the main street and the noise but close enough to walk to restaurants and other facilities. Its proximity to the beach was key. It was only a overnight trip but next time we will come back for much longer!

Staff were super friendly and quick. Very welcoming and were open with local suggestions and how they could make our stay in the area better! The room was massive, more space than we needed for a night. Very quiet and spacious. We'd absolutely be back.

Very basic property! Lots of rules about how we weren’t to use the extra toilet & if we did it would be charged at $65nz per day, the complex rubbish disposal system, no frills, had to buy tissues & kitchen towel. Basic accommodation for a place to sleep

Stunning huge apartment - I loved it very clean and modern

We had a wonderful weekend in Whitianga with a group of friends. Crowsnest Appartments were in the perfect location for our visit. Spacious, functional appartments. Many thanks.

Very spacious, clean and well appointed unit. Lovely big balcony but not quite on the water which we expected from the photos. There is a lift but you need to carry your bags upstairs to reach it. Very good instructions for late check-in.

After driving from the Auckland CBD to Whitianga via the Coromandel a nice stretch out resting place was needed. The Crow's Nest Apartments are spacious self contained units, adjacent to the bay area. A short wee walk around the corner is the Irish Pub Grace O'Malley's. So that was all that was needed by us to be "Set like Jellies", a nice spacious unit not far from an Irish Pub.

Overall the Crowsnest was lovely, helpful people, only bad thing the bdrms were a bit to light at night, maybe block out curtains wld do the trick

Our apartment was very large/spacious and extremely well decorated/furnished and spotlessly clean. It was more like a new-build 'show apartment' than a rental. The view was not great from our balcony, but you could just about see the sea between the buildings in front - however this did not detract from our stay.

Apartment was huge and located at the ground floor. They have given us a 2 bedroom apartment but had signs put up inside the extra room and bathroom. Restaurants and town centre are easy walking.

This property was in a handy location. The apartment was spotless and modern. Highly recommended. We had 2 couples in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was so much soace. 10/10 from us.

Nice spacious holiday apartment, modern decor, good kitchen, partial water view from the balcony only (room was described as “ocean view” - bit of a stretch)). No AC but good cross ventilation with windows and sliders open.

Great location. Central to the centre and close to the sea. Very well equipped and plenty of space.

These apartments are located ideally just across from the beach and excellent walkways as well as being in easy reach of numerous good restaurants and shops. They have a good level of sound insulation and a good underground garage to keep your car cool. The owners couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and will make your stay very easy. Whitianga is a great place and we were sorry to have to leave - next time we will miss out other places to create more time here.

Great room. Spacious, clean and tidy with a nice modern feel. Owners were lovely and stayed open late for us as we were arriving late. Great to know were supporting a young family and their business. Overall a great stay and would recommend to everyone and will stay here again next time we are down. PS Never seen a cleaner room!!!

A clean and spacious apartment very conveniently located close to the beach and shopping centre. Well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location is excellent with off street undercover parking in close proximity to the centre of town. The apartments are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The only downside was there is no air conditioning and to get good air flow you need to leave doors open. We enjoyed our stay and the area is magnificent.

Highly recommended! Everything was clean, the apartment provided most essential things needed as travelling as a family. I am very grateful that it was particularly clean, there was a dishwasher and good check-in process. I enjoyed the stay of one night here. The only thing I recommend is to provide a fan or air-conditioning. When in February, and it got quite humid and stuffy.

Arrived late and street was quite dark. Owners directed us to apartments. They were spacious immaculate and all fittings very high specified, Less than 3 minute walk from bay and views from roof balcony in the morning was stunning. Owner helped us as to what to see and do in area and recommended some great attractions we may otherwise have missed out on. Great place to base yourself from to see area. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartments are clean and spacious. The kitchen area is well stocked for cooking in the apartment. The area is very central and quiet at night. All in all very impressed with the apartments and would definitely stay again!!

Great location, Manager very pleasant and helpful. A few small things couls be improved like bigger towels and a shelf in the shower.

This self catering apartment was very well equipped and furnished. The location was ideal for local shops and restaurants. Although there was a large modern free standing fan in the apartment, one small observation is that it could have benefited from air conditioning. This was not a serious issue and did not spoil our stay.

Very nice spacious, comfortable holiday accommodation in this lovely area. Great to slide open the glass doors to the generous balcony (with table and 4 chairs) and let in the soft sea breeze (in summer). Only one negative: strong odour of cigarette smoke right through the unit from a late night heavy smoker on a balcony below. Unpleasant. Hard to see what could be done about this, as apartments are individually owned. Next time I would ask for an apartment well separated from known smokers.

Great position near to the beach and shops / restaurants. We had an Ocean view balcony which was excellent. It was hot over night although fans are available there. Maybe we missed it when booking but we were surprised that there was no daily cleaning of the room, especially as the price is quite high end. But Whitianga is the place to be on The Coramandel.

The apartment was a great size and in a great location. Restaurants near by and the beach and wharf are only a two min walk. Quiet location.

Checkin was excellent, the apartment was very clean. everything we needed was in the kitchen and clean very comfortable beds. the washing machine and dryer were very handy, and clean...

Cannot praise this accommodation enough. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and a good location with sea views. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Really welcomed the laundry facilities within the apartment and the washing liquid provided.

It was a great place with a great location. Did not appreciate having to take out our own garbage to the waste bins nor having to clean and put away all our dishes that we used. We traveled around NZ for 3 weeks and all other places we stayed at took care of the garbage for us and did not require us to clean and put away our own dishes.
