Location was really good for what I needed. I was thankful to find good last minute accomodation.

Plates weren't clean to use.

The ease with booking. Room had everything.

Probably the shower wasn't up to an exceptional standard, but was great.value for money though.

Toilet base was loose. Heater did not have a temperature control.

Space was great - fantastic value for the amount of beds for families and groups of friends travelling together.

Electric blankets on the beds in the lounge would have been ideal.

Asked for a hot chocolate sachet for my 3 boys as only 1 in room she told us these are complementary so 1 was enough. Super market is on the corner

Location is great

The fridge wasn't plugged in and it had the previous guests chicken ham and other food still in it, and it stinks because the fridge wasn't plugged in. The light above the table wasn't going and made a noise. We complained and the lady was arguing with us, she gave us a light bulb and expected us to change it. Pretty poor service. Not really any apology either.

Location is good, quiet. The staff is good, check in and check out was smooth and easy.

The blanket is dirty, has many stain on it. That is not acceptable. The furniture and the floor the blind are all very old and not clean.

The unit itself was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The location is great - easy walking distance to the middle of town. It was good to be able to bring the dog.

The outside was just not maintained. Our outdoor furniture was one rickety chair with ripped fabric and the foam hanging out. The laundry wasn't swept in ages. The information booklet in the unit was way out of date, and then when we followed the information in that, the owner was annoyed because we didn't notice the signs that were different from their book. The service was very changeable - could be very friendly but could also be curt.

The location was great for our needs.

The units could do with a bit of TLC, especially the bathroom. That in itself is not a major problem for us. The disappointing part of our stay was that one night the radio was left on all night in the laundry which was right through the wall from our unit. There was music playing all night!! Not a good sleep for us!! Another night of our stay there was a gathering/party in the unit beside us. We believe this unit may have permanent residents or staff/management residing in it. The noise from that carried on into the early hours of the morning. Another terrible sleep for us!!

Lynn the proprietor is the rudest Hospitality worker I have ever known or experienced. Shocking we will not be back simply because this lady after accepting our reservation online to check in at 6pm said she was cold and her office hours shut at 4pm. She needs to retire or work in a barn with no customer contact. Hospitality NIL.Wish we had read the reviews before hand.

I appreciated the care that was taken as I was running late traveling from Rotorua. The message sent regarding room and key ready for this late comer although I did see message till I arrived thank you for informing me.

There was nothing not to like.

For a one-night stopover, it was great and had everything I needed.

It was a very cold night, so an electric blanket on the double bed would have been appreciated.

I liked how the rooms had a oven in it, perfect location close to basketball arena where we needed to be, rooms were cozy and perfect for the 3 of us 👌. Not to flash but good value for the money per night. If my son has another tournament up there I would definitely stay again.

The day of my arrival, there was a system error when booking that said I had a child but didnt have age, I then got a call an hour before checking in to say I owe $20 even though I had emailed to let them know my childs age 4days before arriving. So that was abit hoha & also the fact I had to ask for milk it should already had been in fridge when checking in.

Smell of old property, old heater not working properly and not sufficient enough for full unit. Ended up leaving property after an hour and half of checking in and ended up staying somewhere else.

Spacious bed space, and privacy. Good that there was a microwave and kitchenware to use for meals/drinks The 2 in 1 heat pump/ aircon was also appreciated. It was self check-in, we didn't see any staff, which is okay. Central location to shops and takeout

Bed covering wasn't smelling good, like it hadn't been washed in months - only the sheet and pillowcase smelled clean. But then again hotels/motels don't bother to wash those anyway 🙃 The carpet didn't seem that clean either. Shower curtain could use replacement too, or maybe a glass door is easier to maintain. Guests, be aware that if your unit is close to the pool area, it won't be as quiet and peaceful - if that's what you prefer. Otherwise it was an okay stay.

It’s pretty dated, gaffer tape to hold down Lino in the bathroom. The electrical boxes on the wall were coming away. Didn’t know how to operate the heat with no instructions. Staff not always on site.

The bed was comfortable and warm. Also liked the shower floor/base.....very clean aswell.

Had to buy extra tissue as extended my stay for another day. Also ko cooking facilities.

Very comfortable, clean and well presented unit. Bonus with seperate bedroom. All the beds good quality and.comfortable with quality linens. Great kitchen facilities including microwave. Good size fridge with freezer box. All eating utensils and crockery and glassware hig quality. Parking outside room. Less than 5 minutes walk to plaza, supermarket and central.business district. Walking distance to esplanade gardens and park with so many facilities Beautifu.trree lined short and long walks with some leading to the river. Cafe and plenty of childrens play areas, cafe and other viewing and participation facilities, for adults and or children. Owner is very nice and helpful.

It's was a good size for a little room, had all I needed the bathroom was good and tidy. And it was nice and quiet to stay in I was very happy.

The room was good but the bed was a little hard could do with a softer mattress, and I didn't get a little bottle of milk or that for my coffee and tea or chocolate drink, that I think I should of got, and something to cook on would of been nice ever those my stay was short, but other than that it was fine room to stay in at that price I was very happy.

The motel is within walking distance of the Square. (I use a walking stick) Units are spacious, Bed was excellant.

Units are dated, and quite dark.

The unit was clean and tidy. Great shower pressure. Noticed a new shower head. Very roomy and light in lounge and bedroom. Lots of room for my son to visit. Great location being close to town - only a short walk.

Big crack in wall in bedroom near door. Should be repaired as looks bad. Cabinet in bathroom is damaged and should be replaced, even a second-hand one would do as long as it is passable. Shower curtain is very old and too short. Water leaks out the bottom on to the floor. A lighter colour or clear plastic would be good as the dark colour blocks out any light. Lastly, there wasn't any milk left for tea/coffee. Unless it is a new policy that the motel doesn't supply this now, I don't know, but nothing was mentioned. Disappointing. It would be a great stay otherwise.

It was 💩, it was dirty , very dirty I found socks and few other things under the bed , there were cobwebs and it was gross and I never meet any staff

The room - it looked old and needs some diy. Curtains were old and flimsy, the door lock needs replacing - had to pretty much slam it so it would lock, the heater didn't heat, power points by the bed and sofa are all in the wrong places, especially for charging phones. Just no love. And the owner was rude too. I had my truck, 2 minutes after arriving - some woman comes out the office, no mention of name or who she was..." you cant park there, you didnt mention it when you booked, I've got a car with a caravan coming tonight, and I've got a plan for how its gonna work...you park can park here, dont hit my gutters. Thank you" and wonders back into the office and slams the door. ( I had 3 nights here; no caravan at all )

The room was a tad dirty, skirting boards, floors, under the beds. That could just be me having a cleaning business

The sheets were nice and clean. Close to town centre.

Smelled, dirty curtains, old stained comforters. Cobwebs No pots, for a 1 bedroom apartment. No milk I had to go and ask. Lady in office said she hadn't put any in room as it was to far to walk. There was a blob of dried up snot on one comforter. Told lady she said why would they put it on it, and said would I do it. Pretty much brushed me off. Swimming pool was dirty. Was going to ask for a refund and leave but our plans changed and ended up we were only going to be in it to sleep 1 night.

Clean, quiet premises, good location to where we needed to be for the weekend. Easy to check in and check out.

Dated facility, but within expectations for the price point. Spa and pool area not very inviting. Ladder to pool was very loose. No air conditioning in the room, made for a very hot sleep on a muggy night.

Location is great, was a pet friendly motel, bed comfy , ,but i had all my own linen, pillows and blankets, which I made on top of their made bed.

Cleanliness of whole room was very poorly clean , ants in room, only 1 pot was supplied in full kitchen, and the room smelt funny was when 1st arrived, had to go buy air freshener sanitizer to get rid of the smell. You can't tell me that the owner/manager or the cleaner can't smell the terrible odor when entering the room

It was large. Really good value for families. Sky tv was a bonus.

The sink drains were blocked. It’s an inexpensive motel for budget travellers - you get what you pay for.

The single beds were in the bedroom and the bigger bed was in the living area so the kids can go to bed and the parents can continue their evening. The bathroom is set up well, the kitchenette was set up well. The milk in the fridge for a hot drink was lovely.

The shower dial was broken and the room was run down, cleaning could have been to a higher standard. The milk in the fridge didn’t have a lid and spilled through the fridge. No milk for coffee in the morning.
