Bathroom floor was heated and you couldn’t control the heat which made the whole room stuffy in the night.

The location is excellent and with the restaurant downstairs for breakfast and evening meal everything is very convenient with friendly helpful staff.

The bed had a twin mattress rather than a double which was not particularly comfortable.

Dispone di un ristorante al piano terra che serve dalle colazioni alla cena. La stanza è molto grande, luminosa e ben pulita. Inoltre, l'hotel mette a disposizione dei suoi clienti vari dispenser per la pulizia personale e una macchinetta espresso per preparare il caffè la mattina. I teli bagno sono cambiati quotidianamente. La vista dal ristorante è magnifica.

Le vetrate non proteggono completamente dai rumori della strada, che sono comunque pochi, considerato il poco traffico in zona a partire da una certa ora. Il materasso può risultare un po' vecchio.

Every member of the team was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to deliver excellent service during the pre-planned wedding held at the venue. The public areas were clean throughout, and dining in the restaurant was a highlight of the stay. However, the room standards were thoroughly disappointing and simply do not justify the outrageous prices charged. I can only assume these issues extend to other rooms across the property as well given that we stayed in two different rooms. Standard Room (Night 1): Priced 10-20% higher than the local Premier Inn Plus, yet exceptionally small. The air conditioner had a persistent, loud clicking sound keeping us awake, the window barely opened to regulate temperature, and a fire alarm directly above the bed flashed a bright, continuous light all night. There were also clear maintenance shortfalls, including a loose light fixture that swung in the bedroom and an unidentified fitting hanging from the bathroom ceiling. Their Top-Tier Room (Night 2): We upgraded to their most expensive room for the second night, which proved equally unimpressive. The view was half roof, looking nothing like the photos online—which felt like false advertising. Bedding & Amenities: Across both rooms, the beds were fitted with diabolical, cheap spring mattresses that made getting a good night's sleep impossible. To top it off, the Wi-Fi continuously disconnected and was painfully slow throughout the stay. The shower room in the upgraded room has loose tiles under the shower head held on by grout only. A serious potential accident waiting to happen. While the venue hosts events well and the hospitality team excels at customer care, the physical room quality, bedding, and amenities are completely unacceptable for a premium hotel. I would never stay overnight here again as room quality and price are the 2 of the most important things in a hotel, you won’t get a good nights sleep, and you’ll pay through the nose for it here.

Only one negative the room we had didnt have the best view was hoping to see the bridge from the window but all we got was a view of a brick wall and another window besides that the stay was fantastic.

Bonjour, L'emplacement,l'accueil du personnel étaient au top. Les chambres auraient besoin d'un petit rafraîchissement et une nouvelle literie. Sinon il y avait tout ce dont on a besoin dans une chambre. Il y avait même un petit fer a vapeur. Nous avons dîner au resto qui etait bon avec un large choix.

La literie à renouveler. Ayant réserver 5 mois en avance nous pensions avoir les chambres donnant sur le lac.

I have to say I have stayed here over 100 times now, over the past 16 years. You’re always welcomed with a perfect smile and attitude, we arrived early so our room was not ready, we left our bags and went to a walk to view the bridges, the reception called us to say they had prioritised our room clean and it was ready. Our room was clean and we even received some welcome chocolates. We ate in the restaurant and once again it offered near perfection, we felt valued in every detail. Seeing Nikki and Stuart made our stay perfect, having known them now for over 15 years it enhanced my stay and happiness seeing the both of them and catching up on how they are. We are lucky to know them and have the ability of staying at the hotel. Thank you to Laura too for assisting in our booking. We will be back.

Die Lage war super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Restaurant war sehr gut und man konnte dort lecker essen. Abends im Sonnenschein auf der Terrasse gesessen und auf die firth of forth Brücke geschaut.

Hatten zwei kleine Zimmer zum Innenhof, da wir mit vier Erwachsenen dort waren. Man konnte die Fenster nur auf Kippe öffnen und somit kaum lüften. Die Betten waren sehr schmal und kurz. Selbst mit 1,78m hingen meine Füße aus dem Bett raus. Zudem waren die Matratzen unterirdisch und ich hatte nach jeder Nacht Rückenschmerzen, weil ich auf einer spürbaren Feder lag. Morgens wurden die Flaschen vom Abend lautstark geleert, was eventuell in anderen Zimmern zum Wasser nicht hörbar ist. Das Bad war sehr schön und neu gemacht. Wir hatten insgesamt drei Nächte dort verbracht, aber nochmal würde ich dort, trotz der sehr schönen Lage, nicht mehr übernachten.

We reserved two rooms for our group. One was more spacious than the other (and consistent with our reservation). The smaller one was quite cute and efficient, with an oblique view of the Firth and vehicle bridges (even better through the mirror). One minor complaint was that the bathroom was overheated, with no obvious way to cool it off. I asked the staff and they attributed the overheating to an older building that retained heat. Who knows. I just left the bathroom door closed and the outside door open, and everything was fine. We also enjoyed an amazing breakfast with views of the Firth, during our last night in Scotland. Then a short drive to the airport.

A good size room which was very comfortable and spotlessly cleaned. Location was excellent being close to all the local amenities, unfortunately I was travelling for wok so didn't get the time to experience too much of them. Photo is a view from the breakfast table.

Only down side is the parking but that was made clear at the time of booking. The town was probably busier due to people coming to see the solar eclipse. Managed to park on a nearby street.

Understandably with it being a wedding venue the music beneath us was louder than we expected from a wedding during our stay. It was all stopped at 12am. We were absolutely fine with this but something families with children or looking for somewhere quieter should consider

Lovely property and beautiful location, clean and modern and very friendly staff which doesn’t go unnoticed.

The soap dispensers in the rooms shoot soap out with quite a bit of force, resulting in four separate guests across different rooms getting soap on their wedding outfits. The air conditioning was also not working on a particularly hot summer evening. While AC generally isn’t essential in Scotland, it should still be operational when needed. That said, the staff were very helpful and responded quickly, bringing us a fan almost immediately when we requested one at around 1am, which was greatly appreciated.

The view! We had a sea side room with a bay window offering a fantastic view of the sea and bridges. Listening to the waves lap against the shore was so relaxing.

Our shower did not drain properly and ended up flooding the bathroom floor a bit.

Stayed 2 nights on a monday and tuesday, in a superior sea view room. Dinner both nights in Antico. we Found the hotel, staff and food excellent. Busy hotel with great buzz about it. Staff very friendly. Gluten free food not an issue and very willing to advise. View across the Forth to the bridges was lovely from our window. Bedroom even had a steamer in the wardrobe as well as an iron.

Staff were excellent, location is fantastic as was the Antico Cafe Bar for food.

Bathroom was great, view was amazing but the decor in the room could use a little updating.

Had a lovely lunch at the Antico Bar part of Orroco Pier. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. The langoustine bisque special ordered by 2 in our group was exceptional and the pork gyros was hearty and good. Our only criticism was the fact that all of the outside area can be used by people smoking. We didn’t realise this. when we sat down no one was smoking outside. However by the time we were eating we had a table of smokers either side of us. We ate up & left. We would have stayed for desserts & coffee but the smoke couldn’t be avoided. We questioned the staff on this and they said that they had tried to have a designated smoking area outdoors but it was impossible to police. I think they should tell customers when they choose to sit outside that the entire area is a smoking area.

Room was compact, we paid for the view. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster, 5 had almost finish breakfast by the time the final one had arrived, it was clearly forgotten but not fully owned - toast came out with this. It wasn't a relaxing experience. Some of breakfast was cold - beans. Sausage just about cooked. Priority seemed to be getting cakes out for display. Performs better as a bar.

Size of the room with modern design and facilities, a very comfortable stay. The bar underneath where you can eat/drink is glass fronted and overlooks the Forth Bridge so a beautiful view each day.

Being over the restaurant/pub front which has a couple of table and chairs outside meant it was a little noisy with the windows were open but generally, not too rowdy and they always closed on time.

Got woken up in the early hours with people in the corridor then again with clinking and clattering of bottles being cleared outside. Draymen or bins. Very poor sleep.

Food was amazing but service was a tad slow, waited almost half an hour for the bill. Apart from that had a lovely lunch out on the antico terrace with brilliant cocktails.

Me and my sister went to orroco pier for a scrumptious meal, the meal was delicious and filling but the service wasn’t very good at all, we waited 30 minutes for the bill in the intense heat and got bad sunburns on our shoulders , on a side note my tortilla chips came with two random spring onions in there with red sauce doted around and on my tortilla chips, no hate to any of the employees, just a not very good visit.

Our room was lovely with a little balcony overlooking the river. Bathroom nicely stocked with high quality toiletries. We did not have breakfast included but we did purchase this - good quality tasty food. All staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and helpful.

Dinner menu could have a little more choice in terms of starters.

Zimmerblick direkt nah zum Nachbarzimmer (man konnte sich in die Augen schauen und fast die Hand geben, wäre kein Sicherheitsschloss am Fenster gewesen, welches auch ordentliches lüften unmöglich gemacht hat); Klimaanlage auf 16 Grad eingestellt hat nur lauwarme Luft geblasen; hat sich angefühlt als würde man im Heizraum schlafen, obwohl es draußen frisch war. Badezimmer unerträglich warm und kein Fenster

Personal etwas unpersönlich

Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr ordentlich und besticht vor allem durch seine wunderschöne Lage in South Queensferry. Dafür nimmt man gerne in Kauf, dass keine eigenen Parkplätze vorhanden sind und man etwas außerhalb parken und ein paar Minuten zum Hotel laufen muss. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Badezimmer war sauber und gepflegt. Insgesamt ist das Hotel ordentlich und die Lage ist ein großes Plus.

Das Zimmer war allerdings sehr klein – gerade groß genug, um um das Bett herumzugehen. Zudem blickte das Fenster direkt auf das Fenster eines gegenüberliegenden Zimmers. Bei gekipptem Fenster (ein vollständiges Öffnen war nicht möglich) war die laute Klimaanlage im Außenbereich deutlich zu hören. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer kühlte zwar gut, verursachte jedoch die ganze Nacht ein klapperndes Geräusch. Außerdem blinkte der Feuermelder regelmäßig, was etwas störend war. Hinzu kam, dass die Tür zum Flur sehr hellhörig war. Dennoch konnten wir insgesamt gut schlafen. Leider war das WLAN im Zimmer sehr schwach und die Verbindung brach ständig ab, sodass es dort kaum nutzbar war. Für sich genommen wären viele dieser Punkte nicht besonders gravierend. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Hotels auf unserer Rundreise fällt jedoch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis negativ auf. Wir hatten mehrfach günstigere Hotels in ähnlich guter Lage, mit größeren Zimmern und teilweise sogar inklusive Frühstück. Der aufgerufene Preis erscheint im Vergleich zur gebotenen Leistung jedoch deutlich zu hoch

The room was lovely and the views from the restaurant were absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

When leaving for the airport at 3:30am, we found the reception area door locked, so we had to squeeze between two doors to get out. This was particularly difficult while carrying suitcases and wasn’t an ideal experience for an early departure. There is no parking available at the property, so guests need to find their own parking arrangements. We were fortunate to find a free space in the car park opposite the police station, but there was only one space available and availability may be limited.

Die Lage ist toll, die Zimmer mit Ausblick in den Firth of Forth sind schön. Das Bett ist bequem. Die Badezimmer sind fein und schön renoviert. Fein, dass man im Haus gut essen kann.

Wir hatten Glück mit dem Parkplatz, aber das könnte schon ein Problem sein. Im Haus ist neben dem Restaurant ein recht lautes Lokal, der Balkon des Restaurants ist direkt unter den Zimmern. Zum Teil recht laut, aber ok.

Was looking for somewhere nice to eat whilst in South Queensferry and had a look online at the restaurant and prices. But, when arriving at the restaurant and after being seated realised that the menu displayed different prices (higher) than that online. Informed the staff but there was no explanation given. So we left.

Orocco Pier is a restaurant, bar and hotel. The room was nice and comfortable. The restaurant and bar areas were good and a lovely outside sitting area next to the water with great views. It's a popular place as was Queensferry in general. A nice place to spend a relaxing weekend.

Our room was facing the front road which did cause some noise during the night. Carparking is closeby in public carpark

I stayed for the first time in the hotel for my last few days of my trip but I had lunch in the restaurant 3 years ago. My room was lovely, in the third floor with a wonderful view to the Forth Bridge. The staff helped me with my bagage, that was very kind. The breakfast in the hotel was very delicious, so also the dinner, which I had there again. It was very quiet in South Queensferry, I enjoyed this last days of my trip on the sea very well and the airport is close too, perfect by taxi like I did. I would like to stay in the hotel again!

Ou arrival to our table which had been booked for 12.30pm two days previous. We were seated and after a couple of minutes we placed our order for light bites and refreshments. Then after a while we then decided for further refreshment which we ordered. The waitress did add them to our bill, only after wiaitng 15-20 minutes we were still waiting for them to arrive at our table. As we could not see our Waitress any where on the Resturant floor. We spoke to another waitress who said she would check this out. This is not the kind of Service i would expect As the capacity of the Resturant was not full at the time

Struttura in una posizione molto strategica se si arriva dalla Highlands e si vuole trascorrere l'ultimo giorno a Edimburgo. L'hotel è molto pulito e accogliente. Il bar (abbiamo fatto colazione la mattina, molto buono ma menù un po' limitato) e il ristorante dell' hotel sono sicuramente un ottimo servizio aggiuntivo per chi soggiorna li!
