Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Amazing location and the tram stop is super close. The room is beautiful, a good mix of old and modern, and the bed is very comfortable. It's quiet and definitely worth it.
The fan in the toilet was very loud and i would appreciate better lighting around the mirror in the bathroom. Even during the day you need to turn on the lights in the bathroom in order to see properly, but because of the bathrooms location they might see you in there from the opposite building. The room has only black-out curtains which are great, however some regular curtains would be nice for the daytime.

nefungovala televize, nefungovalo napojení wifi na televizi, rozbitá lednice, rozbitý stůl, rozbitý noční stolek ze kterého vypadával i šroubek, rozbitá lampa která nesvítila, ale blikala, rozbité žárovky na stropním lustru... Videa, která ukazují nefunkčnost lampičky, televize a lednice nelze nahrát...

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026This was a quirky little boutique hotel with a winding staircase to our room. The room itself was clean and comfortable. It was located quite close to the city centre, only a 15-20min walk.
On the date we arrived the temperatures were extremely high even at night. There was no AC or fans in the room which made the night very uncomfortable to sleep in especially with an early start for our travelling needs.

Laute Gäste in der Nacht, die auf dem Flur und in ihrem Zimmer keinerlei Rücksicht auf die Nachtzeit und unseren Schlaf nahmen. Es waren US-Amerikaner. Leider ist die Rezeption abends und nachts nicht besetzt, sodass solche Störungen vermutlich nicht abgestellt werden können. Das ist aber bei einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse erforderlich, und man kann es erwarten.

Our room was double-booked. When we arrived to the apartment, it was already occupied. We did get another room, but I assumed that we would get something extra for the inconvenience - for example free breakfast or free parking. Apartment was a little spooky for me, but that's a matter of taste. :)

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Ubytovanie bolo priestranné, zodpovedalo popisu na stránke. Odhadovala som však, že sa bude nachádzať bližšie ku Viedenskej radnici, ako sa to ukázalo v reále. Rovnako aj vzdialenosť ku odporúčanej podzemnej garáži bola väčšia, ako uvádzaných 5 minút. Chýbala informácia, že cena parkovného (25,-eur) sa vzťahuje nie na 24 hodín parkovania, ale do polnoci dňa, keď zaparkujete a potom sa opäť počíta od polnoci ďalšieho dňa. Lokalita bola príjemná, primerane bezpečná a čistá. Doprava je však z daného miesta pomerne komplikovaná cez niekoľko prestupov, keďže stanica metra je dosť ďaleko.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026De locatie is perfect aan de rand van het centrum waardoor belangrijke bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand liggen. Het authentieke karakter van het pand is bewaard gebleven en ademt de sfeer van het oude majestueuze Wenen. De service van het personeel en het ontbijt waren ook top.
Er was wat zichtbaar achterstallig onderhoud aan stopcontacten en de geiser in de badkamer was lastig in te stellen met douchen.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026Zeer grote en ruim opgezet appartement. Compleet met alle mogelijkheden: goede bedden, mooie badkamer en ruimte keuken. Alleen afwasmachine was kapot.
Personeel hebben we nooit gezien. Alleen aan de telefoon een keer gehad bij aankomst, omdat niet duidelijk was hoe de sleutel verkregen moest worden. En bij het uitchecken was het zoeken naar iemand. Uiteindelijk de schoonmaakster maar de sleutel overhandigd.

Sound insulation could be better as hallway noise seems to come through. Having said that, overall the hotel is very quiet and a peaceful place to stay. Any noise would not prevent re booking .

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Mycket vacker lägenhet på bra läge, högt i tak, fläktar i alla rum och AC i vardagsrummet. Badrum och dusch är separat men fräscht, köket fräscht och väl utrustat.
Det är kodlås till en del av dörrarna. När vi kom stod ett äldre par som var förtvivlade och försökte få tag i ansvariga eftersom receptionen inte är bemannad. De hade bott en natt men koden hade slutat fungera. Kvinnan hade sin hjärtmedicin i rummet. det var 38 grader varmt ute och de kunde inte komma in. De försökte i över 6 timmar, vi försökte hjälpa dem att kontakta ansvariga via telefon och mejl men det var helt omöjligt. Lyckligtvis fanns en toalett i lobbyn, så vitt vi vet fick de sova i lobbyn. Det är verkligen under all kritik.

In de badkamer was een dubbele wastafel maar de ene kraan werkte niet. Er is ook geen airconditioning enkel een mobiel toestel dat in 1 slaapkamer kon gebruikt worden. In de slaapkamer aan de achterkant rook het naar de vuilnisbakken als je het raam open zette.

Die Bilder auf Booking.com spiegeln nicht den Zustand bzw. die Ausstattung der Apartements wieder - hier waren z.B. Boden und Wände in die Jahre gekommen und sanierungswürdig. Im Badezimmer war ein Kanalanschluss für eine Waschmaschine offen, entsprechend hat es mach Kanal gestunken, wir haben diesen behelfsmäßig mit einem Müllsack abgedichtet.

Check in is a little uncoordinated, but okay if you read the instructions. Says there is people at the check in office, but there was no one when we arrived at 12pm. Rooms are worth it!!

Reviewed Jun 11, 2026Die Zimmer sind tatellos und sehr charmant eingerichtet. Die Lage ist einwandfrei (recht ruhig), 5 min zu Fuß zum Rathaus und es gibt fußläufig ein gutes Angebot an gastronomischen Betrieben, sowie auch belebtere Einkaufsstraßen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Der Flur könnte etwas mehr Frischluft vertragen. Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.

L'albergo vanta una posizione eccezionale e centralissima: è collegato benissimo, trovandosi a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla fermata Rathaus (linea U2 della metro) e a pochi passi dalla fermata Lederergasse (linea 2 del tram). Il quartiere è perfetto per tutte le esigenze ed è pieno di ristoranti, minimarket, bar e bakery. Questa centralità permette di spostarsi a piedi e raggiungere le principali attrazioni del centro cittadino con una piacevole passeggiata di 40minuti al massimo. Le camere sono moderne, spaziose, pulite e dotate di letti confortevoli. Ottimo anche il servizio di cambio biancheria. Un plauso speciale va al personale, cordiale e disponibilissimo. Abbiamo avuto un paio di piccoli disguidi tecnici con il PIN di accesso della stanza (uno al check-in e uno in serata), ma sono stati risolti immediatamente. Anche la sera, considerando che il personale è fisicamente in struttura solo fino alle 14:00, hanno risposto celermente al telefono e risolto il problema a distanza. Non do il punteggio massimo (10) solo per via di questi intoppi con il PIN, ma per la tempestività dell'assistenza e la qualità generale, è un posto che consiglio vivamente.
I disguidi con il pin.

Am Abreisetag wurden wir 1 Stunde vorm Auschecken erinnert, dass wir bis 11:00 Uhr das Hotel verlassen sollten. 15 Minuten vor 11 Uhr kam nochmal jemand (ohne anklopfen) ins Zimmer um uns zu sagen, dass wir dann gehen müssen, da neue Gäste kommen.

Schlechte und komplett lieblose Ausstattung. Tisch, Bett, Schrank, mehr nicht. Keine Badezimmer Tür, nur ein dreckiger Vorhang, der nicht mal bisher Hälfte der Tür geht. Nur Filter Kaffee Maschine, für den Preis zu wenig.

Reviewed May 28, 2026Das Columbia ist ein sehr schnuckelige Hotel. Es liegt wunderbar zwischen Votivkirche und Rathaus. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür (keine Sorge, keine Lärmbelästigung, die Zimmer gehen in den Innenhof). Und um die Ecke ist mindestens eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Das Zimmer ist ausgesprochen sauber gewesen und alles war akkurat. Der Getränke Kühlschrank für die Allgemeinheit und die Snackbar ist sehr nett und hat moderate Preise. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das tolle Frühstück in einem wunderbar her gerichteten Frühstücksraum. Absolut wunderbar ist das Personal! Es sind alles ausnahmslos zuvorkommende Damen, die einen tollen Job machen! Von meiner Seite aus eine absolute Empfehlung!
Von mir gibt es überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln!

Reviewed May 27, 2026Stanza accogliente confortevole in ottima posizione (circa 10 minuti a piedi dal municipio) Collegata bene con i mezzi di trasporto Abbiamo fatto colazione all'interno della struttura ed devo dire che è ottima se si predilige una colazione salata, meno vasta sul dolce.
La camera era un pò rumorosa perchè adiacente alla cucina dove già alle 6 del mattino cominciano il servizio della colazione. Però ti forniscono dei tappi.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Sehr freundliches Personal. Alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt oder eine gute Alternative angeboten, falls das mal nich möglich war. Die Lage ist hervorragend, direkte Busverbindung zum Hauptbahnhof nur wenige Schritte entfernt, weniger als 10 Minuten zu Fuss zum Rathaus und dort Zugang zut U-Bahn.
Alles hat irgendwie funktioniert, aber einige Nachttischlampen waren etwas wackelig, das Licht am Badezimmerspiegel haben wir nicht anbekommen.

The room was large enough however the furniture was quite tired looking and chairs in the room were not comfortable. Flooring was upgraded but tended to sink in some spots

Reviewed May 17, 2026Personal ist sehr freundlich! Frühstück ausreichend und mit viel Liebe serviert. Hotel befindet sich in einem schönen Altbau. Fußläufig vieles gut zu erreichen.
Zimmer zur Straße ein bisschen laut da Straßenbahn in der Nähe vorbei fährt. Fahrzeiten aber nur bis ca Mitternacht.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Breakfast was fantastic for 15 Euros. The location was in a good neighbourhood, quiet, easily accessible on all kinds of public transport. Staff were very helpful and organised an early check in after a 27 hour flight.
