Kantiang Bay View Resort exceeded all expectations. The place has an amazing vibe from the moment you arrive relaxed, welcoming, and effortlessly beautiful. The beach is absolutely stunning, with crystal-clear water and breathtaking views that make it hard to leave. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff and management. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape in a beautiful setting with fantastic people, I can’t recommend this place highly enough

Fantastic location, great room right on a fantastic beach, good food, friendly staff, best fireshows on the island (if you like that sort of thing) and best bar and band. Really enjoyed our stay and, in hindsight, should have stayed longer instead of moving to another hotel/beach.

We stayed in one of the beach bungalows with stunning views—definitely the highlight of our stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed.

However, the place was quite busy, with day trippers coming and going, which made it feel less private than we would have liked. If you’re after peace and quiet, this might not be the best spot, as there’s music every night that goes on until late. Overall, it’s a nice place, but if solitude is what you’re after, you might want to look elsewhere.

The staff were very kind and looked after us with attention to detail. It’s on a beautiful bay with lovely swimming and interesting fishing activities to watch having the fisherman there made it feel Thai instead of resort which we liked. The food was very good. The Thai food was better than the western style food. I had a lovely room right on the beach which was perfect.

First impressions aren’t great as you arrive at the back of the kitchen off a dusty little lane. As soon as you get to the front of the property on the beach you realise how lovely it is. They could do with more sun beds.

Die „Bungalows“ waren sehr schön und sehr gut klimatisiert. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. In einer Bewertung habe ich mal gelesen das Personal wäre nicht sehr motiviert und langsam, ich kann verstehen woher der Eindruck kommt, spricht man das Personal aber an ist es super nett und hilfsbereit! Von unserer Zimmertür aus konnte man das Meer sehen, 7/11 war 2 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Das Restaurant, die Bäckerei und die Bar im Resort sind klasse und günstig. Wir haben alles an Essen und Getränken super vertragen. Jeden Abend gibt es eine Feuershow, diese ist nicht jeden Tag die gleiche. Vor Ort kann man Taxi, Rundfahrten etc buchen, das klappte auch alles problemlos. Man kann dort viel mit Karte bezahlen und die Massage vor Ort ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Vom Krabi Airport bis dorthin ist es ein ganzes Stück, man kann aber vor Ort mit taxi unternehmen per WhatsApp schreiben und Preise vergleichen.die haben überall ihr Fahnen mit qr Codes hängen. Die Zimmer werden auf Wunsch jeden Tag gereinigt und Handtücher für den Strand kann man sich je nach Bedarf einfach aus der Hotel Lobby holen. In den Zimmern ist ein Safe und ich habe mich zu jedem Zeitpunkt dort gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Meer vor der Tür ist warm und wunderschön, absolut nicht überlaufen und der Ausblick dort hat sogar unseren Taxifahrer beeindruckt :)

Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, somit hat man zwar seine Ruhe, Vorallem am Strand, aber falls man mehr sehen will brauch man mindestens einen Roller

Zimmer war wirklich sehr abgewohnt! Dafür ein stolzer Preis! Wir haben an der Rezeption nach einem Taxis gefragt um an einen anderen Strand zu kommen. Der Preis war sehr hoch, weshalb wir davon absahen. Daraufhin wurden wir gefragt was wir zahlen wollen. Das kenne wir von Resorts bisher nicht, dass wir zum Handeln aufgefordert werden.

Chambres un peu rustiques et peu équipées

L hôtel est très bien situé, directement sur la plage qui est elle même très jolie. Nous n avons pas eu de chance, pendant tout notre séjour il y avait des larves de méduses dans l eau donc nous n avons pas trop profité de la baignade. Quelques endroits à l ombre sur la plage Le spectacle de feu sur la plage etait super !

Notre chambre n etait vraiment pas jolie mais l emplacement sur la plage et le prix ont compensé Le personnel du resto n etait pas très sympa

The location was perfect and the beach is amazing, best beach we’ve stayed at on our travels of Thailand. Room was a good size. Restaurant and bar were good with live music and fire show. Friendly staff.

Air con struggled to cool our room, it was too small for the size of the room. Room starting to require some maintenance. No pool.

Location was good.

The adjacent bar to the hotel, which feels part of the hotel, the service was poor. They forgot our food order twice on two different days and one gentleman got quite rude when i questioned it after an hour of waiting. There shower was cold water and only trickeld out. This location i would suggest hiring a motorbike to get around as not too much to do.

De locatie is perfect, direct aan het strand met een restaurant en een bar! De kamers waren schoon en hebben een gezellige eigen veranda. Ook kun je hier heel handig allerlei tours boeken, de was doen en scooters huren!

Wij hadden er geen last van want wij zaten niet direct aan het strand maar misschien kan het soms wat druk zijn als je een kamer direct aan het strand en restaurant hebt.

Did not have breakfast at the restaurant. The beach was the best part of the accommodations. Location was great to explore other beaches close by where the best beaches were located on the island.

Si quieres tranquilidad…. Busca otro sitio. El Resort se encuentra pegado al muy concurrido y famoso bar restaurante Why Not. Música alta y jaleo hasta la media noche. Muchos ruidos de motos y camiones de la basura durante la noche y por la mañana temprano. Si quieres alojarte aquí con un poco de calma pregunta por los bungalows más alejados.

Die Dusche funktionierte nicht richtig. Das Personal an der Reception war sehr busy.

Die Lage direkt am Strand, neuer bzw. renovierter Bungalow, unkomplizierter Rollerverleih vor Ort. Personal an der Rezeption hilft bei allen Anliegen weiter.

Restaurant (und Bar) recht teuer, teilweise etwas "zäher" Service. Deutlich bessere Alternativen (auch qualitativ) gibt's aber gleich um die Ecke. Nur eine handvoll zwar kostenlose, aber unansehnliche Strandliegen ohne Schirme vorhanden.

On the beach - it was amazing. We were really lucky with room number 3 and having a beach front view. Loved that there was a coffee shop, restaurant and bar on site.

Only complaint was that with the bar, it could be a bit noisy on a night time, but really not that bad. When we needed to be up early for an excursion I just put ear plugs in and was fine.

The south side of Koh Lanta was definitely the place to be for us and Kantiang Bay is a gorgeous long beach, that is very nearby and is one of the best beaches on the island. Being able to get out of bed and be straight onto the beach in the sun and sea was glorious. We were here during New Years Eve, and they had a very fun night with fire show, fireworks, music and dancing (biggest on the island); and this resort was right in the middle of it!

Most of our stays in Thailand have been traditional thai houses and bungalows, so it was a little shock at first to be in a more hotel room like space with air conditioning, airtight windows without any sound or light coming through, but we got used to it quickly and had a lovely stay.

This resort is in a part of the island that is less developed and feels more remote. There are fewer bars and restaurants in walking distance but the 'Why not' bar makes up for that. It has great bean bags on the sand or you can sit inside and listen to the daily live band. The restaurant is good and despite what many say, we found nothing wrong with the staff or service. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet at night. The beach is beautiful. We stayed for 7 days and loved it.

Nothing except the slightly inflated prices which stem from its more remote location.

Unfreundliche Frau an der Rezeption. Im Eingangsbereich alles besetzt von Mitarbeiter. Teuer für das was man bekommen hat. Beispiel Bilder meist renoviert. Diese hatten wir nicht. Kleiner Schrank mit 3 Kleiderbügeln und keinen Schubladen, also keine richtig Ablage Möglichkeiten. Tür geht schwer auf und zu. WLAN schlecht. 2 Sterne oke aber warum Resort? Leider waren links und rechts neben uns nur Leute die durchgängig geraucht haben.

Location was great, close to lovely restaurants and shops. Staff were accommodating and friendly. We hired a scooter from the resort and they also did the laundry for us. Great fire shower in the evening and nice bar to chill at.

Bathroom is dated and the shower isn’t the best but the room itself is nice with a big comfortable bed.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist toll, der Strand ist sehr schön und auch der Bungalow hat alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und wir konnten direkt bei der Unterkunft einen Roller mieten und ein Taxi bestellen.

Unser Bungalow war in der letzten Reihe und hinter ihm lief ein kleiner Fluss welcher leider manchmal etwas gerochen hat. Uns hat es nicht gestört aber abends ist es manchmal etwas lauter da direkt nebenan eine Bar ist. Die Musik war aber immer gegen 23:00/ 24:00 Uhr aus.

Room was clean and nice away from bar so we did not get disturbed in the evening, massage on beach was excellent, fire show put on by local kids was amazing! Food nothing special better to walk to top of road we loved A la carte, Black Swan and Phad Thai Rock and roll all bery good for food! If you are looking to dive Dive Ko Lanta are fantastic!

Tout est très bien chambre propre confortable mais le seul vrai point négatif est la douche presque pas d'eau qui coule à la poire

La ubicación a dos pasos de la playa. Con servicio de comida, bar y masajes. Por la noche hacen espectáculo de fuego y barbacoa. Playa tranquila y bonita.

La persona de recepción no es muy amable

Super endroit, en bord de plage, restau et bar juste à côté. Très bien si vous ne cherchez pas trop de monde. Le personnel est disponible avec tout à disposition (loc scoot, laundry, taxi boat…) La chambre est spacieuse avec Clim.

On est resté 3j et personne n’est passée nettoyer la chambre, avec le sable ça se salit vite. Après il y avait une douchette à chaque chambre au niveau des marches qu’on n’avait pas vu, ça aurait mit moins de sable effectivement 😅

We can’t actually comment as we didn’t stay here. Our room view was 10/10 ! It was my fault but we were travelling with children and it didn’t have a pool so we moved hotel. The staff was lovely and food was good
