Viva Dash Hotel Seminyak

The location. The restaurant downstairs. The bed.

It used to be well-maintained and cleaner. Felt exclusive back then. Recently, sad to see it has dropped in its standards. Hope to see the improvement in the future. I truly enjoy staying with ViVa Dash as it has always been my first choice in Seminyak.

The staff were exceptionally warm, kind, and eager to assist with anything I needed. On top of great service, the hotel is perfectly situated right in the center of the action

Room hygiene unfortunately fell well short of standard expectations. An ongoing issue with ants around the toilet and sink was brought to reception's attention but remained unresolved. Furthermore, daily housekeeping was incomplete - linen and towels weren't changed daily, the toilet and shower area weren't scrubbed properly, a heavily rusted shower head, and noticeable thick dust buildup under the bed and on clothes hangers.

Relaxed, good sized rooms, rooftop and inside pool, staff excellent, good breakfasts wide variety, good location.

Bij aankomst zag de accommodatie er op het eerste oog prima uit. Wat vooral goed beviel, was het ontbijt dat direct vers voor ons werd klaargemaakt. Daarnaast vonden we de pooltafel een leuke toevoeging.

De villa is naar onze mening niet praktisch ingedeeld. Er zijn twee open woongedeeltes met in het midden een zwembad, wat voor onze groep niet ideaal en bovendien niet erg veilig was. Vooral de slaapkamer boven vonden wij vanwege de situatie minder geschikt voor kinderen. Daarnaast hing er in de villa overal een onaangename lucht. We hebben aangegeven dat deze situatie voor onze groep niet ideaal was, maar de eigenaar heeft helaas geen moeite gedaan om hier iets aan te veranderen of een oplossing te bieden. Hierdoor hebben we na twee overnachtingen besloten om een andere accommodatie te zoeken.

I was sceptical of this place before booking, and I couldn't regret staying here more.

Be careful, this is a run-down building with a cheap reno that's already ageing, rusting fixtures in the rooms, doors that don't close properly, basically an overpriced backpackers. For 3 nights in a row, other guests were out drinking and being loud in the common area outside my room at 3-4am. Security did nothing on their own to resolve this, night after night, despite the noise happening in a central area of the property where it should have been obvious. I'm sure the property will respond saying they've "reviewed procedures," but I doubt anything will change. After 4 nights at the hotel, I left 4 nights early because I hadn't slept properly for 3 of them. The property itself admits I was kept up and that their security didn't manage the noise, yet they still refused to refund the 4 nights I didn't stay. They also claim they "offered an upgrade," but there are no upgrades in this building, I already had their best room, and I specifically didn't want one facing into the central common area to avoid exactly this kind of noise. If you want to sleep, do not stay here.

Location is very good. Staff is helpful. Room and linen is clean.

Pool is on a smaller scale and water is cold. Area around the pool can be noisy at the night time.

The shower water was leaking out on the bathroom floor. The pool had little sun, as it was inside the hotel. The roof top was ok, but only a small pool. The roof top can use more lounge chairs

Had a great stay. Place was in the heart of Seminyak and was super close to everything. 5 min walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby and places to go out in the evening. Wifi was great. The rooftop was good too, if you want to chill with a drink. Staff were nice and attentive. Awesome place to stay

Only the location was good.

Room in horrible condition, super dirty , whitout light , dark even during the day. Air conditioner dont work. We book a room with balcony they give us room whitout and we have to complain to get what we book. When they finally give us the right room we find everything super dirty and super hot. We supposed to stay 2 night but we leave after the first night cause they make our a stay with a baby 2 year old with us, horrible and just very stressful and they dont even refunded our money.

The bar and restaurant were really nice and the roof top pool area was nice. We only stayed one night. The pop art is cool. We stayed in the 2 bed room apartment. Very cool industrial vibe.

Its not that i didn't like it, internal corridors were very dark. The doors would slam shut, which was loud through the night with people coming and going.

Is super centric , the guy at the receptions are super kind , there is one guy when I arrived around 11:30 I forgot to asked his name , please you need to congratulate him … is super friendly, nice , always asking is everything is ok

The room smell like humidity a lot

Dans la première chambre, la literie était légèrement humide, probablement en raison de l’humidité ambiante. Je suggère à l’établissement d’envisager l’installation de déshumidificateurs dans les chambres, comme cela se pratique dans certains hôtels, car cela apporte un réel confort aux clients. Après avoir changé de chambre, ce souci n’était plus présent et le reste du séjour s’est déroulé dans d’excellentes conditions, ce qui mérite d’être souligné

Location was okay and the breakfast was okay as well as staff.

Our stay at Viva Dash Hotel Seminyak was very disappointing. When we first arrived, the towels in our room were dirty. After we complained, housekeeping replaced them with clean towels. While the room itself was acceptable, the bathroom was not clean. The next day, housekeeping replaced the towels again, but the new ones were dirty as well—they were yellowed and had brown stains. We requested another set, but unfortunately those were also dirty. After that, we gave up and used the same towels for the rest of our stay. To make matters worse, there were bugs on the bed in the second room, and my kids refused to sleep there because they felt uncomfortable. After experiencing these repeated issues, I asked the hotel to provide some form of compensation for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, they refused and did not offer any meaningful resolution despite our multiple complaints throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel felt poorly maintained and was definitely not worth the money. I expected much better for the price we paid and left very disappointed with the way our concerns were handled.

Our room smelt like sewerage when we arrived. Had to completely air out the place. During our stay, the toilet blocked multiple times. Fridge did not keep drinks cold. Included breakfast was not good. Bread/Toast/waffles were cold and not fresh.

The location is really good, you can walk around to everything you need, the environment feels friendly

This was my second stay at Viva Dash Hotel, and I’d happily stay here again. It’s a great value hotel in an excellent location, with cafés, restaurants, shops, and the beach all within easy walking distance. The staff are absolutely wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was also surprisingly good, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Seminyak without spending a fortune, I highly recommend Viva Dash Hotel. It offers fantastic value for money, and I’ll definitely be back.

I didn't like the bed, because it has 2 joined mattresses on it and you can't asleep in the middle.

There were unpleasant scent coming from the bathroom and I faced a problem in the sink my last day, I believe the hotel need a kind of renovation, however the hotel is perfect and I will stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel four years ago when it was one of the best hotels in Seminyak. Sadly, my recent 9-night stay was a huge disappointment. The hotel has noticeably deteriorated. The furniture is worn out, cleanliness standards are poor, towels were not properly clean, the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, the air conditioning was ineffective, and the elevators frequently experienced issues. We stayed in the hotel’s top-category two-bedroom suite (Room 416), yet there was a constant sewage smell coming from the bathrooms. The noise was also excessive, with maintenance work early in the morning and disturbances late at night from guests around the pool. The staff were excellent, professional, and genuinely helpful, but unfortunately their efforts could not compensate for the overall condition of the property. It is disappointing to see a hotel that was once among the best in Seminyak decline to this extent.
