Rawley Resort, Spa & Marina, Trademark Collection by Wyndham vs Similar Hotels

Some rooms felt dated and uncomfortable, particularly rooms that were not lakeside.

Mixed: several guests praised spacious rooms, large bathrooms and a jet tub, but others noted small room size, a wet/soiled mattress incident and a broken glass on the floor—overall average room quality with notable negatives.

Some rooms had cleanliness issues, particularly noted in exterior and bathroom areas.

Mixed but concerning: one guest reported what appeared to be urine on the mattress and staff response was inadequate; other guests praised overall cleanliness but there were isolated issues (broken glass, inconsistent housekeeping).

Beautiful location with stunning views and a relaxing ambiance.

Positive for setting: beautiful lake, docks and water activities are highlights; some reviewers noted landscaping and exterior upkeep/beach need attention which lowers the score slightly.

Staff were consistently described as friendly and welcoming.

Generally strong: multiple mentions of very kind, helpful and hospitable staff (including restaurant staff and a staff member named Ben). One serious service failure occurred when the front desk handled a mattress hygiene issue poorly, but most reviews praise staff friendliness and helpfulness.

Food quality was generally praised, though some portions did not meet expectations.

Strong: multiple mentions of exceptional food, especially breakfast, and good restaurant service; restaurant staff received positive calls-out.

Good amenities but some areas could use updates or improved maintenance.

Good offerings: restaurant, spa and jet tub are positives; however some facilities were unavailable (pool) and maintenance issues reported (hot tub not maintained), so amenities are uneven.

Good value for certain amenities, but some food items were considered overpriced.
