The main advantage and positive for the Best Western Zucherhof is its location - right in the heart of tourist areas, next to the tram lines, railway station and Old Town The breakfast is very good and is included with the room rate we paid. The minibar is stocked with water, soft drinks and beer, which are free. Also, fruit, cake and icecream are available for free in the lobby Rooms are kept very clean

There are no extension phones in the rooms which is unusual and inconvenient There is no central air conditioning, and the rooms get quite uncomfortably warm. The portable air conditioner provided is not very effective The road in front of the hotel has been dug up for repair, which is a bit of an eyesore

Café da manhã excelente.

Clean space with everything we needed for a few nights. It was a small room but we only needed somewhere to sleep. The facilities worked well and the breakfast was nice. Staff were also very helpful.

Room was small but we expected this and this did not affect our stay. Bit of a walk from the main station however our suitcases slowed us down!

Nice hotel nice location but massive construction work in neighbourhood. Promised water and ice cream daily but refused with a plea that season is over. Breakfast normal and same every day

One of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in. 10sqm max. Sink too small to shave in. Poor value for money.

A bit of noise from night life on the weekend. No air conditioning. However, they kindly provided a portable A/C unit, though it is noisy.

The location was great. It was close to everything. The breakfast was limited but it was really delicious.

We were there during warm days. The hotel doesn’t have an aircon. We used ventilators but it was so noisy. There is also an on going street work in front of the hotel so it kind of noisy. We were woken up by those noise.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect. Comfy simple rooms.

La ubicación es excelente, cerca de todo. Me gustó que ofrecen agua gratis para los huéspedes, frutas y panecillos. La habitación dispone de una pequeña refri y nos dejaron agua, 2 gaseosas y 2 cervezas. La habitación para 2 personas está mas que bien.

Great location near the main train station and in the old town with many restaurants and bars around. The included breakfast was comprehensive and staff friendly.

Close to the station and old town. It was also quiet. Staff were very helpful. Great breakfast. The fruit and icy poles at reception were a nice bonus as was the complimentary water in the fridge.

Well located in quieter section of old town, within walking distance 10 min from train station. Hotel provides free water, fruits and snacks at lobby all day. Breakfast was included and tasted good . Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.

No air con. The cooler device provided doesn’t work on warm days , and even with stand fan was still not enough to cool the room.

Good breakfast and freely available bottled water.The drinks in the bar fridge in the room are free to consume. Very close to several restaurants.

A bit of a walk from the Zurich HB train station especially with luggage.Construction was happening just in front of the hotel which was quite noisy.The windows cannot be closed if you would like to turn on the air conditioner as the hose end has to be placed outside. This just makes the noise seem louder. The hotel is also located close to a night club and bar. Not a good combination if you would like some quiet sleep over a weekend. We chose the superior room for a family of four. The door to the bathroom/toilet is made of glass. Expect zero privacy. This is rather inconvenient especially with older kids.

Konumu çok merkezi, gezip sonra odada dinlenip tekrar devam etmek iyi oldu. Oldukça canlı, turistik bir bölgede olduğu için cam açıkken çok gürültülüydü, ama camları kapatınca ses gelmedi. Girişte su, kahve, meyve ve dondurma ikramları olması iyiydi. Odada da içecek ikramları vardı. Kahvaltısı da gayet güzeldi.

Koridorda sanırım halılardan kaynaklı ağır bir koku vardı. Odada yerler yürürken oldukça gıcırdıyordu. Yataklar da rahat olmasına rağmen onlar da gıcırdıyordu.

Excelente trato del personal. Facilidad para resolver nuestras demandas.

Great location (8 minute walk to the train station), clean property, nice room with an easy walk-in shower, nice breakfast, helpful staff.

No air conditioning (a fan was provided which helped cool the room).

The location was good. Breakfast was also great with fresh ingredients.

There is no air conditioning at the property. We had to suffer for 2 nights without air-conditioning. The air cooler provided little to help cope with the warm weather. We had to open the window, unfortunately, there was work just below our unit and we had to contend with the noise early in the mornings. It's our first experience to have a hotel room without AC. The toilet is also very small. I took for granted AC will be provided, a basexpectation to stay in comfort. I would not recommend this hotel for those who need a good night's sleep on their vacation.

This hotel is on a very nice location, in Zurich old town, but on walking distance from main railway station (which was of great importance for me, because I arrived in Zurich with train). Hotel is very nice, clean, my room was big enough and well equipped. Bathroom nice, clean and wit excellent water pressure. Breakfast was also very good.

I think that the price was to big, even for Zurich, for three star hotel. Also I didn't like poor lighting in my room.

Good room, small bathroom & breakfast included - used the facilities for two days; water, fruit & ice cream for guests - in the old part of town - lots of eateries and bars around there and easy access to public transport. We were comfortable and good helpful customer service from the staff. J&M

I brought my elderly wife.proper fan was not provided upon contact with reception they behaved very badly and asked us to look for other hotel.the reception staff was very rude.

Staff, breakfast, location, room cooling arrangement, everything was excellent.

The elevator was very small and suffocating. Also, the TV does not have the capability to stream anything or common apps like Netflix, YouTube etc. apps are mining. There are room for improvement for this elevator and TV and that will help overall rati g if this excellent, well run hotel.

The room was very clean and comfotable. The ensuite bathroom was ideal. The breakfast was superb with lots of options. The food and drink excellent. The reception staff were fantastic. They were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, explaining everything very well. Special thanks to Lucie at Reception who was so helpful on my first arrival. I enjoyed everything so much I came back to stay on 13th August 2026.

Excellent clean and comfortable room, very food breakfast, superb warm friendly helpful Reception staff. I don't know the name of the young lady who was on duty at the time of my arrival on 13th August but she was very helpful, lending me an adaptor plug which enabled me to charge up my phone. Many thanks to her and Lucie for a great stay.

Великолепное местоположение, приветливый персонал, удобная кровать.

Было жарко. Поставили миникондиционер, труба которого ввходит на улицу через окно. В итоге окно закрыть нельзя. Поэтому идет прохлада из кондицмонера и хара из окна, при том что миникондиционер очень шумный. Мы приехали ночью, были уставшими и гум нам не помешал спать.

Location was great, and we appreciated the free options like ice cream and water in the lobby. Room was a great size with many outlets and fans which was appreciated in the heat. There were three of us so the 3 person room was perfect and gave us plenty of room at a great value.

The breakfast was very small and did not have many options. We were given the option to order a fritatta which was so stiff and stale we thought it must be fake eggs (but then found out it wasnt). Switzerland is expensive so I thought paying for hotel breakfast would be better value than going out to restaurants but it would have been better to have just got a snack from the Coop than pay for the breakfast here. Other main issue was that there was a portable air conditioner in the room and a big hose connecting it through the window outside. I dont know what it was about this but it triggered my sinuses terribly and I was unable to sleep the two nights I was there because it gave me a terrible head cold (I had no sinus issues outside the room but couldn't breathe through my nose when in the room). The other two people I was traveling with were fine but I wish there was central air instead of this since I had such a reaction to the room. The rest of our trip we stayed in hotels with either no AC or central air and i did not have this issue again, so it must have been related to the portable air conditioner.

Great location! Perfect for our one night in Zurich before catching a flight. Easy walking access to the train station from which you can catch the train to the airport (Zurich Flughafen). We were on the top floor and the room was really cosy.

The staff at the reception were full of hospitality, very kind and we had a wonderful stay.

Great location, inclusive drinks, ice creams, water and coffee was really nice. Good location, close to central station and old town. Staff were really helpful with things to see and do. Rooms were really nice.

A little bit of construction going on nearby or some kind of thumping early in the morning It didn’t bother me too much though and wouldn’t let this deter you.

Superou a expectativa, o fato de o hotel oferecer água mineral gratuita no frigobar e na recepção . O frigobar é gratuito , Pepsi cola , cerveja e água. Na recepção tem além da água , frutas e picolé. O café da manhã muito bom. Quando chegamos no quarto o ar condicionado e ventilador estavam ligados , para termos um ambiente climatizado agradável.

Só não gostei do atendimento da funcionária do café da manhã, uma portuguesa, tudo bem que pode ser questão cultural , mas precisa ser educada , agradável com os hóspedes. Duas vezes que fizemos um questionamento sobre itens do café ela respondeu e em seguida disse que estava escrito . Como se fossemos obrigados a entender a língua . Penso que ela precisa de treinamento, ou trabalhar em outro setor que não seja com o público .
