Staff was very nice and helpful

room is too small for the big bed, it felt overcrowded, the furniture (the chair) is overused old and nearly damaged. Cleanliness could be improved.

I loved how close it was to the blue mosque and it very near public transport, the bust stop was 4 minutes away so it was very helpful when getting dropped off from the airport by the shuttle. The staff was super friendly and nice, I was on the ground floor across the reception and I always popped in to ask for something or advise which was given warmly, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating!

The ground floor can get quite stuffy and a bit misty but it didn’t really bother me for the price and location, just let it air out a bit and it was fine.

The room is comfortable and clean, the location is good, and the receptionist (Walat) is very nice.

A pesar de estar muy bien ubicado, pudimos descansar tranquilamente sin ruidos exteriores. La cama y la habitación muy cómoda.

La pica de la cocina era algo pequeña y el baño olía bastante mal.

Удобно място, любезен персонал. Момчето ни обясни какво да посетим, къде да отидем, както и как да използваме градския транспорт, за което сме му много благодарни. Спести ни доста губене на време с колата в трафика, имахме доста повече време за разходки. Мястото е близо до спирки на градския транспорт, ресторанти, кафенета, магазин. Има предвидени места за паркиране точно пред хотела.

Personalul a fost foarte amabil, dornic ca cei cazați să se simtă bine. Loc de parcare gratuit în fața proprietății, nu este ideal, acesta fiind pe marginea străzii, dar având în vedere aglomerația din zonă, este un mare plus pentru cine vine cu mașina. Hotelul este ralativ aproape de Moscheea Albastră (10 minute de mers relaxat), iar în zonă sunt magazine, terase, restaurante etc.

Aici povestea se complică puțin deoarece hotelul listează camerele pe mai multe platforme. Eu am avut neplăcerea ca la momentul ajungerii la proprietate, să mi se spună că nu-mi pot da camera pe care am rezervat-o din cauză că aceasta a fost ocupată de un alt client venit de pe o altă platformă. După aproape 40 de minute de negocieri, am obținut o altă cameră (superioară ca facilități), dar la un alt hotel aflat în zonă (probabil patronul este comun), iar mașina au acceptat să o las la hotelul la care am făcut rezervarea, cel de-al doilea neavând locuri de parcare. Una peste alta am beneficiat de o cameră mai bună la aceeași bani, dar probabil dacă nu spuneam că le fac reclamație la Booking, nu primeam ceva mai bun, inițial dorind să ne ofere o cameră la un demisol pe care am refuzat-o.

Totul a fost ok,parcare în fața hotelului,personalul foarte amabil,ne-a explicat totul din Istanbul,aproape de Moscheea Albastră și de alte obiective. Per total suntem mulțumiți și posibil să revenim acolo

The host was really trying to help us, we arrived really early and he prepared our room a few hours earlier. The location of the hotel is also really good, just a 5-10 minute walk from the blue mosque.

We had an amazing stay. The apartment was squeaky clean when we arrived, and was cleaned once more during our stay (4 nights). The location is PERFECT. Sultanahmet square is 1-2 minutes away by foot and from there everything else is super close by. Our car was parked in the private parking spot right in front of the hotel - which was also amazing. The host is very nice and very helpful - he gave us all the information we needed and more. We would gladly come back 🤗

The room is small, but very clean and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, which makes exploring the area incredibly convenient. The reception staff were also very helpful and attentive

The property was clean. The location is good, near Sultanahmet square. The staff was very friendly.

The upstairs was very small, the sink in the room and the bathroom also. For one day we didn’t have hot water, but Emir fixed it at the moment. I have an advice(not for the property)-don’t go to the near restaurants.

Friendly staff who help with suggestions and advice. Room was as expected, facilities were good. Location was great, so close to all old town must see spots.

Abbiamo trascorso alcuni giorni in questo hotel e non avremmo potuto fare scelta migliore. La posizione è eccellente: si trova nel pieno centro di Sultanahmet, a pochi passi da tutte le principali attrazioni di Istanbul. Le camere erano pulite, confortevoli e dotate di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno piacevole. Un ringraziamento speciale va al ragazzo che gestisce la struttura: sempre gentilissimo, disponibile e pronto ad aiutarci per qualsiasi esigenza. Ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni utili per visitare la città, ha organizzato per noi il transfer da e per l’aeroporto e anche una splendida crociera sul Bosforo. Ogni mattina ci offriva caffè e tè turco, un gesto davvero apprezzato. Consigliatissimo! Torneremmo volentieri.

L'emplacement est bon et le personnel impeccable notamment velat. Gentil et disponible. Café, thé et eau à disposition tous les jours.

La chambre est minuscule, single peut-être mais jamais double. Au plus 7 m2, douche et toilettes 2 M2. Pas comme indiqué (13M2). Elle ne correspond nullement aux photos. Elle est située au rez-de-chaussée (la seule d'ailleurs ). Pas d'armoires ni rangements pour les valises, notre linge est resté dans les valises durant le séjour. On s'est senti très à l'étroit. À qui la faute booking ou le propriétaire de l'hôtel ?

Excellent location, minutes from Sultan Ahmed Square. There are nice restaurants nearby, as well as shops. The owner is kind and helpful. The room has everything you need for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. The place is quiet and peaceful. I recommend!

It is well located, staff was friendly. Price is reasonable.

The window blinds let the sunlight in the room in the morning, there is no way to keep the room dark to sleep. Some towels had holes in them. The room is not as nice as in the photos. The front door of the hotel is very noisy and we could hear it from our room. It waked me up a few times, had to sleep with ear plugs. There is no luggage storage in this hotel so we had to leave our luggage in an other hotel for a fee on the first and last day.

Dirty, sink didn’t drain so couldn’t use, air con ‘broken’, difficult to communicate. There for 4 nights and no clean or towel change

Besides the narrow steps you may have to climb with suitcases, depending on which floor you’re at as there is no elevator in the hotel (We were at the top floor number 3). Bilal was very helpful with carrying these up with me as i was travelling with my mother, aunty and pregnant wife who couldnt lift the suitcases. Thank you

Emir Hotel is in a wonderful location, right in the Old City close to all the main sites. The big windows in our room on the second floor brought in great natural light. The small kitchenette was perfect, and the AC worked very well in the heat of summer! The staff were all very welcoming.

They didn’t offer free breakfast, like we’ve experienced everywhere else in Turkey. But that’s okay!

Very well located hotel with a multitude of good restaurants within walking distance 👌🏻 Bilal at the front is super helpful and one of the owner Salim very plaisant to chat with around a good cup of Turkish tea 🍵 The rooms are cozy with everything you need if you want to cook. Cleanliness was on par and even better than other Hotel I've stayed at in Istanbul 😏 I will defenetly be back next time I am in Istanbul 😌

Friendly host, excellent location, comfortable bed, good amenities, the cleaning was done every 2 days, they allowed us to leave our bags in the lobby after check-out because we had a late flight

From the moment I've made the reservation and until my trip, they've renovated their hotel. This means that I received a different room from the one that was first presented. They said I've booked an economic room and there's nothing they can do. I accepted this because I didn't want to argue about it. The room was grossly unfinished, the bathroom toilet smell was very bad (we had to leave the air vent on our whole trip or it would stink of toilet). All things considered, the bed was comfortable, cleaning was done on time, and the location was great. The host was very friendly, except for one night. The room is located right in the lobby, and you can hear EVERYTHING (especially at night). So, everyone that came in through the hotel's door, what they talk about, etc. Now, one night the host started listening to very loud music around 1 AM and speaking very loudly. We could obviously hear this as we were 5 steps away sleeping. I had to dress up, go there and ask him to be a bit quieter. He let me wait for like 1 min, while he was on the phone, before talking to me. He was quiet after that, but it was a very strange event.

Emir hotel was absolutely magical for my wife and I's honeymoon! The room was simplistic and beautiful, and it was even better than the pictures. Our host was so kind, and the guides he provided us with made our vacation even more memorable. Everywhere we visited, that the host recommended to us, was absolutely amazing. I highly highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Honestly nothing. I don't think anyone is booking this hotel for a super luxurious stay because it doesn't have a huge building with amenities like pools and restaurants. The hotel is exactly what it looks like- a quaint hotel with great rooms and service in an absolutely amazing location. If you stay here you won't be disappointed.

It was very good hotel

I picked this to crash for a couple of incomplete nights between other regions of Turkey because it was dirt cheap. It did the job but I wouldn't pick it for a proper trip to Istanbul.

Guys from reception were great, also they helped us with luggage and taxi from hotel to airport. Room was nice, bed was comfortable and whole stay there was great as well. Best thing about this accommodation is location: close to many historical localities in Sultanahmet, public transportation, Grand and Egyptian bazar and Eminonu port. This accommodation is great value of money, you can not expect something luxurious for cheap price as this one is. Beside some small shortcomings, I would defined again stay there!

I think that sheet and pillow sheet weren't clean, but I always carrying mine, so it doesn't matter. Stairs in hotel are small, but I noticed that many places has similar too.

Location was perfect, close to tourist attractions, the Metro and lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. Friendly and helpful staff, on hand 24/7 with any information needed. Very good value for money

Very little to dislike about the Emir. Perhaps some heavier curtains on the window to keep the light out at night. Anyone with mobility issues should request a ground floor room as the stairs are narrow.

There is no way to make the room darker, you have to bring a face mask with you.

I stayed here for 3 nights. I've had a horrendous experience and I completely advise against this hotel. First, I arrived from my flight very late at night to find torn and stained towels. I asked for them to be changed and the receptionist tried to convince me they were fine - when they had tears, stains and someone's hair in them, but eventually changed them. Second, there was no hot water in the shower. I asked the receptionist on the way out to take a look. When I returned, another receptionist lied and told me that they had tried it and it was already working. I kept the water on for a long time and it still didn't work, so I went back to the receptionist who came to my room to check it and finally "believed" that it wasn't working. He had it fixed. Finally and most horrifying, on the 3rd day I came to the room to find my bathroom trash bag sitting on the dresser above my belongings including a box of food!!!! Even if it was forgotten, that says quite enough about the cleanliness and hygiene in this place. Not to mention the overall cleanliness of the room was very poor. The AC is very weak. And the room was on the 3rd floor with no lift so I had to go up and down the stairs every time I had to talk to the staff. This is the most horrible hotel experience I've had and I 100% recommend against it.

I visit hottest season “June”, AC was not providing proper cooling, hotel should provide basics like shampoo, drinking water atleast welcome one water bottle and few tea bags. Fridge was not working.

very thin curtains which didn’t block out that much sun early in the morning which was a bit of a pain since I’m a light sleeper. Bottom sheet wasn’t fitted and too small for the bed so kept coming undone and ended up and ended up sleeping directly on the mattress

The room needed some minor repairs and some extras won't hurt (like, it has a boiler but no cups..). It's 3 floors and has no elevator, so if you have limited mobility, keep this in mind.
