Overall a great experience.

My only very small negative was being served the hot breakfast meal whilst we were still eating our ‘starter’ and had to pick up and eat our ‘starter’ and the main hot breakfast meal was still out down in front of us - this was on our 2nd day. Not an issue on our first morning.

Tout était parfait, de l'accueil et le check-in sur la terrasse, au logement magnifique et soigné, les différentes attentions dans la chambre, le spa très calme, relax avec différents espaces. Tout était très "cosy" et relaxant, exactement ce que nous recherchions. Le petit-déjeuner à la carte et le repas au restaurant étaient parfaits également. (varié, cadre très sympa) Belle carte de vins de la région. Le personnel de tout l'hôtel était très prévenant mais pas trop présent, très agréable.

Il manquait des heures dans les journées pour profiter encore plus de ce bel endroit ;)

Das Zimmer und die Ausstattung war grandios. Das Design des Hotels im Alpin Style mit vielen Details wie der gesamte Wellnessbereich war einfach top.

Das Bistro am Abend - kein 5 Sterne Service, lange Wartezeit für das Essen und trotz Reservation / Ankündigung einer wichtigen Feier kein schöner Platz erhalten.

It is an absolutely perfect hotel in the charming mountain village. Very typical, but with all modern comfort. My room was large, with a nice balcony and a perfect mountain view. The property has an excellent restaurant where I had dinner twice - just perfect! Breakfast was very tasty as well, with nice hot dishes cooked for you. The service is impeccable, the staff is very friendly and responsive. The location is just perfect - in a very calm part of the village, but very close to everything you need, including the parking at the entrance of the village. I loved everything about the hotel and hope I will be back!

Hôtel récent, infrastructure impeccable, espace piscine et spa de très haut niveau. Personnel polyglotte, serviable et attentif. Cuisine excellente, produits de qualité, petit déjeuner servi à table.

Chambre située dans l’annexe au-dessus du spa : trois ascenseurs pour la rejoindre. Pas de climatisation, il faut ouvrir les fenêtres pour rafraîchir avec les bruits environnants le matin tôt. Vue limitée au chalet voisin, à quelques mètres. Pour les cyclistes : pas de local dédié, les vélos sont remisés dans des bureaux fermés à clé. À la Brasserie 1809, l’ambiance se veut feutrée mais les tables sont trop rapprochées pour une conversation privée — et les prix restent élevés pour la prestation.

Personal spricht kaum Deutsch (und das in einem angeblichen Fünfsternehotel!?) und ist auch nicht sehr kompetent. Nach der Bestellung des Abendessens geht es 20 Minuten bis mal Brot serviert wird. Und das Abräumen leerer Teller scheint auch nicht eine Priorität des Personals zu sein. Standardzimmer sehr klein. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis schlecht!

Situation au coeur des montagnes. Vue impressionnante depuis la chambre. L'accueil avec un verre de bienvenue après la prise en charge depuis le parking en bus électrique. La chambre, élégante, 2 salles d'eau, vue montagne. La gentillesse et le sourire des hôtes, on se sent attendu et on entre dans un cocon. Les mets du restaurant très bon, y compris les choix végʻétariens. La qualité des matériaux de l'hôtel, et très joliment décorés. Nous avons apprécié également le SPA avec ses 2 piscines et le fitness très bien équipé. Les enfants ont apprécié la salle de jeux également. ( babyfoot, tennis de table, jeux vidèo, jeux de société...) Le personnel est dévoué et fait tout pour que vous vous sentiez bien, informations loisirs, attentions quotidienne jusqu'à votre départ.

The property was very nice.

When we arrived the driver mentioned that the roads were dangerous and he had to drive slowly. We did not think anything of it. Then a couple hours after we arrived apparently the only road to arrive at the hotel closed due to weather with no date or time as to when it would reopen. The hotel did not notify us even though they knew that my daughter and her boyfriend would be arriving the following day. The next day came and my daughter and her boyfriend flew to Geneva, and took a train (had a very long travel day) to arrive at the nearest town before driving to the property only to find out that the road was closed. We had to find them a place to stay in a small, depressing town called Visp, they had to spend the night in a hostel, with hopes that the road would reopen the following day which they told us would open at 8 am. The following morning the road did not reopen. They had to then rebook completely a new train ticket and flight ticket back home as we did not know when the road would really reopen. My husband, son, and I who were already at the hotel were stuck and again we were never notified that there would be any issues when they already knew that there would be. When the road reopened, we left early (left a full day early) because we were fearful that we would be stuck again and decided to reunite with my daughter and her boyfriend. We had to rebook our train and flight as well. At the end we lost money, had an anxious few days, and a family trip that never happened after traveling from USA. The least they could do is refund my daughter’s room which was never used or our last night which was also never used. Disastrous!

Our recent stay was rather disappointing and far below our previous experiences at this hotel. The room conditions were unbearable due to excessive heat, and there was no thermostat available to adjust the temperature, which made it very uncomfortable to stay in. We slept with partially open doors with outside temperature of about 8-9 below zero. Breakfast was another major issue. The area was overcrowded and dominated by very loud American tourists, creating a very noisy and unpleasant atmosphere where it was difficult to relax or enjoy the meal. The staff never did anything about it. While the staff were consistently polite and courteous, unfortunately, their service was ineffective. Despite multiple requests, basic arrangements were not carried out. Drivers never arrived unless we personally tracked them down, a reservation for a future stay was never made despite asking multiple times, and even a simple email required three follow-ups. Each time, we were reassured with polite smiles and promises of immediate action, but nothing was actually done. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and frustrating. It was especially surprising and disappointing given how much better our previous stays at this hotel had been.

Die Anlage ist sehr schön, allerdings über 3 Gebäude verteilt und deshalb etwas kompliziert. Die Zimmer sind sehr angenehm und sauber. Der Spa-Bereich ist schön gestaltet, entspannened! Skidepot Nähe Bergbahn/Pistenrand ist sehr praktisch, Shuttlebus stellt Transport sicher.

Frühstück wird nur à la carte serviert, bei Hochbetrieb funktioniert das nicht (lange Wartezeit). Der Service entspricht nicht dem 5*-Niveau des Hauses.

L'ensemble de l'expérience est au top. Du welcome drink pour le check-in jusqu'à la prise de congé, tout est fluide et on se sent comme dans un cocon au Capra. Literie confortable, spa moderne et agréable et excellent petit déjeuner. Personnel attentionné et sympathique.

Het is een mooi hotel met goede faciliteiten en een prima restaurant. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk. Het eigen ski depot vlakbij de liften is echt super. De kamer met balkon is ruim met een fijne badkamer. De housekeeping is helemaal TOP, je wordt door hun in de watten gelegd.

Er ontbreekt een correcte aansturing / organisatie van het personeel waardoor het eea niet professioneel verloopt wat je wel bij zo’n hotel mag verwachten. De sfeer in de lounge / bar is kil en mist de warmte door het ontbreken van een gastvrouw/heer.

The staff were amazing! So friendly and welcoming and helpful in every way. I don’t think the word ‘no’ is in their vocabulary! They went out of their way to curate every detail of our experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are so luxurious. The food in the restaurant is exceptional, we ate there 3 times! And we are vegetarian but there were plenty of options. It was my birthday and my husband asked for flowers in the room and a chocolate cake on the day, they actually made the cake in house and it was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had! They also make their own bread and pasta in house. The ski locker is a great addition as you don’t have to lug any equipment around. Saas Fee is a beautiful place, there’s plenty to do for skiers and non skiers alike. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We love spa hotels and this one really stands out.

Frühstückservice (à la carte) wirkte zeitweise etwas überfordert

Destacar sobretodo el trato de todo el personal, que ha sido en todo momento excepcional, el SKI room que tiene el hotel al lado de pistas es super conveniente, todo está cuidado al mínimo detalle, el desayuno de muy buena calidad. Zona de SPA muy completo, limpio y cuidado.

the breakfast was out of this world - really Michelin star quality. Also that it was table service we appreciated. Your spa is also exceptional and the staff was helpful and always friendly. Beatrice deserve as special mention for always being helpful and cheerful when we arrived at breakfast in the morning

the extra bed in our room - for my 20 year old son - was not of the quality expected for the price of the room

From beginning to end, everything was a truly beautiful experience. It was the small details that made all the difference—someone filling the coffee machine with water, another bringing our ski equipment to the garderobe. Every facility was exceptional, especially the outdoor hot water pool. The staff were almost invisible, yet completely attentive, with an open, friendly attitude that radiated care and generosity. Everything is so thoughtfully arranged that guests can fully enjoy exactly what they came for: to ski and to relax. I genuinely cannot find compliments strong enough to recommend this place. Thank you to everyone, and special thanks to Experiences Director Phaedra and the entire team who supported us so wonderfully, even in the unprecedentedly low temperatures. Truly amazing. We will definitely return.

Tip top HOTEL - wie erwartet

It was super cozy, clean and a lot of wood was used for building all the apartments. The underground connection was always an experience and kinda reminded of labyrinth and also always had a slight smell of lavender or orange (in a good way we enjoyed it) The bar and th fireplace were amazing, it’s a perfect place just to relax, get a free mind and get a great drink as well. Also, the breakfast/dining area made us feel really comfortable and taken care of, besides the incredible breakfast they offered us every morning. There are so many reasons to come a third time for us….::)) it was our second stay at the capra, and we regret nothing. The staff was super nice, always available if you needed something and on top, even if it wasn’t on the menu, my girlfriend was able to get her smashed potatoes because the kind kitchen chef came and told us it’s no problem:) Also, the super cute girls at the bar made fantastic drinks and we were kind in a really authentic way what is actually really rare to have. One even gave us great advice for our next Barcelona trip because she used to live there and we had a great chat always. Benjamin from the reception was also super kind and funny ::)) I had a good laugh with him. We are now at the le grand bellevue(Gstaad) because it is on our way back home and we thought maybe two more days in a different village could be interesting as well, but the day we arrived here, we regretted our decision. You could really feel the difference between authentic staff, food that was made with love and effort, and a hotel that was made to feel home, cozy, and familiar( capra), beside the fact that the village saas fee was much more welcoming (mindset of the people as well). The only regret we have is not staying longer at the capra and spending the two days(overpriced) here (gstaad). We miss the capra already…. So see you next year!!!!

Manque d’infos sur les pistes Pas d’eau chaude dans la chambre le soir de notre arrivée; la télévision ne fonctionnait pas. Ceci indiquait une manque d’attention au préparatifs début de saison. Le service dans le restaurant et le soir et le matin manquait d’attention.

The capra is a very cosy and welcoming hotel, the bar has a stunning view on the mountains and their spa is a gem. All of the staff is very professional and very nice.

We loved how cozy and intimate the hotel was! Soa was perfect, loved the outdoor heated pool under the snow. They have a ski cabin to place your skis which is amazing. Food was excellent. Sheets were super soft and comfy.
