Hotel room was exceptional and staff were amazing

Didnt like the room overlooking the car park and the back of the hotel. Would have prefer a lakeside room

Everything.The check in staff were lovely and friendly. My room was very nice and comfortable. Lovely decor. Quality fixtures and fittings. I wandered down the health club. Fantastic facilities down there. Loved the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. I followed that with a coffee at the health club. Very friendly staff there. Super helpful also. Then I went for a walk around the grounds. It's a beautiful location by the lake. I was impressed. Then off to the bar. Budweiser in bottles. That's when I knew I had hit the hotel bullseye. I ordered a bruschetta. It was delish.. As I said, the room was lovely and comfortable with nice tea and coffee also. Lovely to chill in for a bit. Then off to the bar again and I sat in the lobby for a while. There's a nice history to this hotel also. Far more interesting than some of the more modern offerings. Pictures and lovely decor everywhere. The evening food in the bar was delicious. I had a lamb shank. It was to die for. Literally fell off the bone, like I fell up the stairs after several more Budweisers and an Irish coffee. This morning the night staff were super helpful also. It was absolutely ace and I will go back again for sure.

Internet a bit sketchy at times. The changing room in the health club, looks a bit in need of a tidy.

View of the lake, room was nice. Spa had a good size pool and warm. Hotel restaurant food was great and not over priced. Plenty of parking on site.

Jacuzzi was tiny could only fit two people at best. Changing rooms could have been cleaner, no soap in shower. Lockers required a euro which I didn’t have so took my things poolside. Pool gets busy first thing as locals use it. You had to walk outside to access the spa from the hotel.

Food was excellent and Staff very nice

Delighted with our room, we also were pleasantly surprised with an up grade no charge. Bed was very comfortable, king size, plenty of pillows, lovely white bathrobe and white slippers available in room. Bathroom was fantastic. Furniture in room chairs, table, comfortable. Tea coffee facilities, greeted lovely upon arrival. Food fantastic Grounds fantastic with the walk and lake

Took us awhile to figure out how to put light on in bathroom around the vanity area, but then realised the light switch is on the mirror, so maybe a little heads up about that would have saved time, would have liked smaller cups for the coffee machine as the mugs don't sit under it, Apart from that everything was great

This hotel was great value, we were on holiday for 3 nights and stayed in 3 different hotels this was around £90 cheaper than our 2 other hotels and was the best value for money. The room was a reasonable size, the bathroom felt a little outdated and had no walk in shower, but more than adequate for our 1 night, the room was clean, a fan was provided but we were then in near 30 degree heat so air con would've been nice but not necessarily always needed, the food and drink were exceptional both dinner and breakfast, I had a steak which was well worth the money, and the breakfast selection was extensive and was very good. Overall very happy with our stay.

Nice friendly,hotel, and upgraded to a suite so very happy on arrival, although we were only staying for one night. The evening meal was good, and the breakfast too.

The only problem was noise. The room was hot so we had to open the windows and the noise from the bar below from people outside prevented us sleeping. The noise started again at 6.45am in the morning as people talking outside again. The afternoon tea was ok, a bit disappointing as too many cakes and only one very small scone each.

Everything, especially how it was extremely family friendly, kids loved it.

I can't think of anything. Couldn't reach blind on window in my room, as I'm small in height, but not really a problem.

Nothing luxurious about breakfast. Fruit was soggy tasted as though it was left overnight. No choice of omelette.

The receptionist was so friendly on arrival, talking to my daughter. We got upgraded to a lovely room although the ordinary rooms were lovely also. Beautiful setting and walk down to the lake, full of wild areas. The food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. Very fast service even though they were flat out for breakfast. The pool was warm and well maintained.

That i didn't get to do the spa ! That's for next time !

The staff were friendly and the hotel grounds were really beautiful.

The heat in the rooms made it very uncomfortable to sleep in, with no air con. There was an electric fan that was very noisey when plugged in. I also feel that for the price that a sit down breakfast would of been niice instead of self service.

Fabulous hotel. Great for families. Staff were fantastic, so friendly and approachable. Would definitely go back. Location is great.

The kids' pool area is quite small. The food was only okay.

The hotel reception was open with alot of seating to relax ,the reception staff were welcoming chatty and very helpful, the rooms were big spacious with beds that were so comfortable we had breakfast the next morning the selection of both hot breakfast that was kept topped up along with fruit,cereal,mini pastries was very good and delicious along with very friendly staff

There was nothing we did not like bout our stay. I was there with a group of friends and all three of us would return.

My room was too warm . I asked to be changed to a lake view room with a breeze and then it was perfect

We would have liked a top sheet . Perhaps small side table in bedroom. Really though as explained to the charming gentleman with red beard, we have been there a few times always 10 out of 10. All staff take a bow.

The room was very hot. Approx 16 degrees outside, two windows opened as much as possible but no air circulating. Had fan but no air conditioning very uncomfortable all night.

The hotel is exceptionally clean. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast is buffet style & caters to all needs. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

We were in a beautiful suite, with a view on the lake. It was a great experience. The spa and restaurant were good, and the staff were very friendly and hospitable.

There were some noises coming from upstairs until late at night. I guess there was a party or after-party going on there.

The hotel is outdated and as a result way too expensive; our bathroom flooded entirely within the first 3 minutes of taking a shower. The 'backstage areas' of the hotel (that many rooms look out on) are quite messy and tacky. The arden is nice, but unpleasant because a boombox was thumping most of the afternoon.

Got breakfast to the room - was lovely. Food in the bar was good albeit pricey
