Appartement Volendam

Amazing central location. Well equiped kitchen. Lovely apartment

Bella posizione. Amsterdam è facilmente raggiungibile in bus.

Lovely location . Convenient (close to supermarket , bakery , butcher …beautiful landscape, 30 min from Amsterdam by bus 316 (about 10 min by walk to the bus stop ), green . Property is spacious 72m2, bright, confortable , nice tv, good kitchen … coffee machine amazing 👍

Could improve the shower (put normal handle with hot and cold )because I often had not that warm water and quite annoying to have to force to the 3 little vertical bar to be able to shut the water properly. As we are on the ground floor everyone in the street can see us so maybe some little curtain would be nice instead of having to shut the shutter most of the time in order for people not to see us . Regarding kitchen equipments (more pan would be good to be able to cook properly and more basic cooking ingredients available such as salt, sugar, olive oil …

Mooi appartement midden in Volendam.

Ligging

Bediening licht

50 m do urokliwej mariny z wszystkimi dobrodziejstwami. Dwie łazienki, dwie sypialnie, balkon wychodzi na kanał i charakterystyczny most.

Location comodissima. Appartamento pulito, luminoso e ampio. Dotato di tutti i confort. Molto ospitale e prioritaria sempre disponibile. Meglio delle aspettative.

Toll ausgestattete geschmackvolle Wohnung, sehr sauber, sehr gute Lage.

Amazing interior, spacious, comfortable and high quality decoration. Very responsive host.

Had to keep all blinds closed all the time as passers by could see literally everything inside on all sides with windows. Really non obvious rules around where and for how long to park and where to throw the rubbish.

Ras

Very central to all amenities Beautiful apartment Comfortable beds Place to store own bikes or use the 2 bikes provided Great TV package available Washing machine and tumble dryer

There was no toaster Not enough large sharp cutting knives

The location was great.

There were definitely several quirks to the accommodation. Half the light switches didn't work and those that did had very dim lighting. When it got dark you were basically sitting in the dark. There are no outlets in the bunk bed room which isn't ideal when traveling with two young kids as we couldn't use their monitor or sound machines. There were wet towels in the wash upon arrival.

Everything was perfect. Highly recommended

Amazing place, modern, clean and great location right in the heart ❤️ of Volendam

We loved 🥰 this property

The appartment is modern its location is perfect.

All was good.

This property fantastic in both location and facilities. It was the most comfortable and best equipped holiday property we have ever stayed in. Every detail had been thought out such as a well equipped kitchen, highly furnished bathrooms and incredibly comfortable bedrooms. The host had contacted us prior to arrival with an extensive and helpful list of recommendations for the local area and this was greatly appreciated. The host was also on hand to help us when we foolishly locked ourselves outside on the balcony. Volendam was a great location to base our visit to the Netherlands with great transport links to the rest of the country. This property felt like a home away from home. The small touches such as the reed difusores and toiletries really added to this feeling.

Nothing to dislike. Apart from having to come home.

The Wi-Fi speed was absolutely incredible at almost 200 meg. The location was amazing because it was so close to all the shops. Everything in the apartment was a very high spec and comfortable. Volendam Museum, which is just a short walk up the road is a real treasure trove of information. It’s really well laid out and very very cheap to get in. I discovered a group called the cats who were really big in the 60s and 70s, and it’s just my kind of music.

During bank holidays, it starts to get busy very early on, and stays pretty lively well into the small hours. But that’s a small price to pay for being so close to all the shops.

Prior to arrival we received an extensive description from the owner how to enter the apartment, about the various parking possibilities. Tips for tourist attractions and activities with even a recommendation summary of good restaurants. The apartment is fully equipped with modern kitchen and all facilities needed for long stay even though we just booked for 4 days. Very confortable and cosy romantic atmosphere in various lighting possibilities as per the setting oof the day and mood. I think everyone who would spend a few days in this apartment would agree that you feel like home (or better :-) Volendam and area is a great place for tourists and even Dutch people

We felt so comfortable and at home. We really experienced the atmosphere of Volendam being so close to the harbour and wonderful restaurants.

Location is fantastic. It's a really lovely, homely house and so cosy with all the candles they have around. We really loved our stay and would happily go back. Very easy to get to from Amsterdam by bus and a nice walk to to to Edam. Lots to do in the area.

Spacious and comfortable apartment in a lovely town.

The apartment is excellent, top quality and nothing bad can be said. The location is perfect being right at the back of the harbour and the owner was very helpful

Nothing

Volendam city is a very beautiful city and it was a great experience to stay in Special volendam sweety houses Amazing!

Very clean apartment and location was perfect. Host is very welcoming too.

Wifi is not so good and host entered the apartment while we were still staying at the apartment. We had our private things and valuable things in the apartment. That's not professional sorry!

The apartment itself and the location are excellent!

Really lovely apartment in a great location, perfect for our needs. Vivian, the owner was extremely helpful and provided very helpful local information. The apartment was a good size, our two teenagers were fine in the small room, there is a sofa bed apparently if needed. It is located in a short term, blue parking zone, we were able to load/unload near by but for longer parking we used an underground car park in Boegstraat street, just 5 mins walk away for €9 a day. Conveniently located for buses to Amsterdam and other nearby towns. Adult day return to Amsterdam by bus was €12.50 and takes 40mins. We used both bikes plus hired a couple more from the hire company in the harbour. Easy cycling and a great way to explore the area. Edam is a 3km walk/cycle away..

There wasn't anything negative to mention on Booking.com

the property has a great location with everything so nearby, the property is really big.

nothing

We had train delays and had to improvise to collect keys before pickup location (bar) closed

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is so spacious and luxurious and the location is perfect 👍

position is fantastic

if your not an early riser the noise from delivery trucks was a little annoying

Perfect for family with small kids

apartment was in a central location. well appointed, built in coffee machine was a pleasant surprise!

great apartment in a good location.. highly recommend it
