Reviewed Sep 11, 2026I really enjoyed my stay here. I was upgraded to a lovely room with a gorgeous balcony, which was a wonderful surprise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent, right in the center of everything. The room was comfortable, and overall I was extremely happy with my stay and would definitely recommend it.
The room was a little warm when I arrived, and the air conditioning took some time to cool it down. This was only a minor issue, though, and didn’t detract from an otherwise wonderful stay.

Reviewed Sep 6, 2026Wir hatten Mühe das Hotel zu finden, die Zufahrt zum Hotel ist nicht möglich. Allerdings liegt es nahe am Parkhaus, wenn man das weiss ist es kein Problem. Das Hotel liegt schön zentral, man kann Grenoble von da wunderbar zu Fuss erkunden.
Wir hatten grosse Mühe das Hotel zu finden, ein Hinweis auf das Parkhaus würde sicher helfen.

Ideal zum Rumbummeln. Aussicht gigantisch. Trotz der zentralen Lage konnte ich problemlos bei offener Balkontür schlafen. Zimmer sind klimatisiert. Fahrrad wurde sofort untergebracht

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026La posizione, la pulizia, TUTTO LO STAFF persone veramente gentili, simpatici e disponibili. Parlavano italiano, inglese e francese (non so altre lingue quindi magari ne sanno altre). La camera era molto spaziosa e pulita, avevamo un terrazzino all ultimo piano vista piazza e chartreuse, veramente stupendo. Se dovessi tornare a grenoble tornerei sicuramente in questo hotel. Anche il bagno era pulitissimo e con tantissimi asciugamani puliti e morbidi a disposizione. Il parcheggio convenzionato è veramente a due passi e per i prezzi di grenoble la convenzione con l hotel è vantaggiosa.
Non c’è nulla che non mi sia piaciuto, se dovessi trovare il pelo nell’uovo, forse mettere un piccolo frigo in camera per tenere l’acqua in fresco in queste giornate calde (la camera aveva il condizionatore quindi il caldo e i rumori di fuori non si sentivano). Quando abbiamo comportato i formaggi in montagna ci hanno messo a disposizione il frigo della cucina per tenerli in fresco quindi hanno comunque trovato un modo per soddisfare i nostri bisogni. Magari la moquette in camera a qualcuno può non piacere perché difficile da pulire, però secondo me lo standard di pulizia era alto.

Escuchas el tranvía por la noche. No es en exceso. Pero se escucha.

Lorsque l’on réserve, il y a écrit dans les caractéristiques que l’hôtel dispose d’un parking. Cependant il n’est pas mentionné que l’on doit payer ce dernier ( il fallait le lire dans les questions/reponses ), nous avons donc payé 18€ de plus de parking, ce que je trouve un peu malhonnête

En laissant nos bagages dans la consciergerie il y avait d’autres valises en revenant quelques heures plus tard les valises des autres personnes n’y étaient et plus et nous n’avons pas remarqué tout de suite mais on m’a volée le chargeur d’un de mes gamins et il coutais très cher passer 50 euros je suis très déçue car la personne qui l’a prise ds ma valise n’a eue aucun scrupule !

El parking está ubicado fuera del hotel en un edificio muy sucio. Para acceder y salir hay que pasar por sitios sucios y con olor hediondo y no es gratuito, hay que pagar la mitad del precio. No utilizamos el coche durante nuestra estadía para no tener que pasar por ese sitio más de lo totalmente necesario. El desayuno estaba bien, pero muy justo.

Con balcón a la calle, a una plaza peatonal llena de restaurantes, pero no se oye el ruido. Tiene parking cercano. Es un parking público, pero tiene un acuerdo con el hotel. Si avisas en recepción te cuesta 18€ en lugar de 33€. El hotel es increíble por fuera y renovado por dentro. Todo limpio y cómodo. Tiene ascensor y una antigua escalera amplia de madera.

Breakfast didn’t live up to the hotel’s reputation. There were few, if any, fresh items: apart from the bread, in my opinion! Everything else was mass-produced and reheated on the premises (scrambled eggs, pancakes, fruit salad…) The scrambled eggs had absolutely no flavour – they were almost sickening! A rather limited selection It’s a real shame This is a major area for improvement, as guests are willing to pay a fair price, but the food needs to be of good quality

I wish I never stayed here. I was here one night and I didn't like anything about the hotel or the city. I was hoping to find a place to stay and explore for a few days but after a few hours I wanted to leave. The hotel is historic but it's dated decor and archaic plumbing and wifi can't keep up with modern day needs. The wifi didn't work consistently. Digital nomads stay away! The area and the city felt dangerous, depressing and crime ridden. It is filthy and there is graifiti everywhere. Sadly even on ancient historic buildings. As a man I would not feel comfortable walking the streets at night. Women on their own should steer clear of this city. It is in disrepair and clearly the Mairie doesn't care. It was a once beautiful city but now it is a city that needs help.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026The staffs n janitors were nice and friendly. Even though their English wasn't good enough, I was able to communicate my needs with them. The room came with a small balcony with a nice mountain view. The breakfast was perfect.
There was no safe box, armed chair, and a proper closet in the room. The TV was set in a weired position, that it can't be watched neither from bed nor from sitting in the chair. For a price over 100 Euros/night in a city like Grenoble, there should have been more facilities available. Customers need to return their keys everytime they would go outside, which I found annoying.

habitciones muy antiguas y pequeñas, falta luz, no es bonito ni acogedor. Me fastidio bastante saber que la foto que publican en las plataformas es de una sola habitación reformada, el resto estan muy pasadas.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Top Lage, mitten in Grenoble. Gut zum Shoppen und Ausgehen. Trotzdem war das Zimmer gut ruhig, nur das Tram haben wir im 3. Stock etwas gehört. Das fährt aber nicht in der Nacht, also alles gut. Und das Tram fiel auch nicht auf, da die Klimaanlage laut war. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Matratzen waren super und wir haben gut geschlafen.

Reviewed Jun 10, 2026Mooie locatie in het historisch centrum op loopafstand van bezienswaardigheden, de kabelbaan, winkels en restaurants, én op loopafstand van parkeergarages (maar die viel tegen, zie 'wat viel tegen?)
Het is erg jammer voor het hotel en de stad dat wij toch echt nooit meer zullen overnachten in Grenoble, omdat gedurende die ene nacht dat wij daar waren onze auto is opengebroken in een (naar ons idee veilige) parkeergarage, terwijl er geen waardevolle spullen meer in aanwezig waren. Te meer omdat er bij de autogarage waar eerste hulp werd geboden om onze reis voorlopig voort te kunnen zetten, werd gezegd dat Grenoble geen veilige stad is om 's nachts een auto te parkeren (letterlijke woorden van de monteurs: "het is hier elke nacht raak"). Hopelijk kan het hotel nieuwe gasten waarschuwen en behulpzaam zijn om een parkeerplek te regelen die wél veilig is?

N’est pas aussi beau que sur les photos, matelas très moyens. Pression de la douche inexistante.
