Staff very friendly and helpful
Room needs some repairs ceiling light hanging down
Very Snug and Comfortable. Great Window view of Looe. Staff were Very Friendly and Helpful.
No breakfast included. Mattress uncomfortable. No milk for tea or coffee
Mattress
Room was right on the water side with great views
Ceiling light hanging down
Genourous snacks. Dressings were a nice touch. Clean linen
The fireplace jutting out near the doorway. As i stubbed my toe in the middle of the night not good when your a walker.
good location easy access
could do with a lick of paint
Great location and a fairly reasonable evening meal - which was good value for money
No breakfast...
The location is great right in the centre of Looe.
Being super critical the decor needed a bit of work in the room. Listing said parking but there is no parking at the property.
Location was perfect. Room was very pretty and spotless. Breakfast wasn't available but plenty of snacks along with tea, coffee, water left in the room. Because of location there was plenty of choice around for eating, the hotel also left recommendations in the room. All staff members from morning staff through to evening bar staff we met were so helpful and pleasant, couldn't do enough for us.
Would have been nice to have been able to have breakfast there but it wasn't a problem and didn't impact on our stay. Also after speaking to staff we totally understand why they don't do it now.
Location was great. Dinner was good.
Room was small, tatty window that didn’t open. Bathroom was not joined to bedroom. No breakfast supplied.
Clean friendly staff great position
Very small room
Great location,friendly staff
Restaurant was expensive
Excellent location
NA
Lovely staff room nice and clean and has a refrigerator which was a really nice touch
Nothing
Comfortable beds Served lovely food
The outside area was needing an update seating etc
Location, location, location
They didn't pay attention to our request for a double room until we made a fuss
Alot , very friendly very comfy bed and pillows , friendly helpful staff
Internet crashed alot staff used Tablets to order food n drinks ..couldnt check in at first but had drinks while waiting , Other than that all good 😁
There was no brekfast
I did not like the fact we had to go out or our room, into the hallway to use the toilet and shower, this was not mentioned when booking with you, also the lock on our room was not working, a kind member of the restaurant staff came to help but then had to get the manager who at first was not interested saying we were not using it right. He then said he would get a locksmith out, which he did but would not help to store our luggage in his office, so the cases were left in the unlocked room. The lock situation was resolved. Also we assumed there was parking onside, but it was in a pay and display council carpark. I feel we should have a refund
Fantastic location Fantastic staff Fantastic food
Nothing
location
Outside window frames and paintwork need repairing and painting.
Great location friendly and helpful staff good food and great atmosphere
Lovely accommodation
Perfect place to stay.
Nothing
Incredibly friendly staff and environment. Good drinks and a lovely view of the harbour, from both the restaurant and the room. Some quirks like a toilet across the hall from the room, but the room was clean, comfortable, and met all of our needs.
The team were all super friendly and easy to talk to, the young lady who showed us to our room was very knowledgeable. The view was amazing and at night the sash window was open and we both slept really well.
Slip mat in the shower.
Location atmosphere food. Fridge in room. Snacks.
Room dated. Hardly any water shower poor. Could hear dogs barking during night..bed needs renewing, headboard broken.
The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Two members, Sammy and Annie, really did stand out. They made our stay even more exceptional.
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Rooms lovely. Food amazing. Helpful and friendly staff.
Location and view
It was tired and very overpriced for what the room actually was. The windows were literally rotted away, not sure how the glass stays in the frame
The view was perfect It was a spotlessly clean room , the fridge was an added bonus as the weather was extremely hot, but being able to sleep with the windows wide open helped a lot
A chair would have been nice , but the size of the room would not make this possible, but it it a very old and quirky building,
We're quiet local from saltash so always love looe, we loved our stay, staff very friendly and lovely ey room kept clean and tidy each day, very happy, we will be booking again early September.
The location is fantastic, right on the harbour with beautiful views across Looe. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and although the restaurant was closed for refurbishment, they provided complimentary ice water, plenty of biscuits and other refreshments, which was a thoughtful touch.
Unfortunately, the room was extremely hot with no fan or air conditioning, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The private bathroom was located on the landing rather than being en-suite, although it was solely for our use. The shower could do with a little TLC, and the toilet flush handle kept coming off. The bedroom window was also in need of repair as it was falling apart.
Great location it was very clean and staff was friendly Atmosphere in the bar area was good
And not great if your a wheelchair user for access Parking could be an issue in busy periods and costs £16.50 for 24 hours The room we stayed in was small and not suitable for larger people, I kept hitting the tv as I walked past and my partner and I had to take it in turns to walk around the room as space was limited. Also not a lot of room for suitcases. I can imagine the room to be cold in winter as the radiator was behind the massive headboard and only single paned glass windows there due the age of the building, an extra blanket was provided though. Unfortunately on the day we stayed, there was no food served and very limited drinks as they had run out. No breakfasts available even though they stated that food was served all day.
Food was amazing, beuatiful view over the harbour, very friendly staff.
Location was OK
The bathroom was not en-suite - it was separate, having to go out of the bedroom to a common corridor and use a yale key every time needed to use it. It is decades since we have had a room without an en-suite. There were no toiletries - the shower liquid dispenser was empty. There was no plug to the sink. The staff weren't particularly friendly. and there was no-one there after 7pm or in the morning. There was no garden.
Lovely staff
Think the restaurant needs updating
Top location with really friendly helpful staff who made cyclists welcome.
Food good but there is no breakfast option. Cafe (recommended by them ) just down the street certainly compensates.
Nothing really: pub with rooms - and was exactly that.
Staff were great , relaxed and easy
The views were amazing
Windows were falling apart and no integrated bathroom
Excellent location, close to the town but far away enough to be quiet. Room was spotless with a handy little fridge. Bed and pillows super comfy. All the staff were polite and helpful. We had an evening meal which was exemplary in both quality and value for money.
There’s nothing not to like
Great location.
Shower room outside of the room. Could do with an update, Interior wise. Check out time of 10am is too early.
The view
For there top room.i say it wasn't what we expected
Location , beds were comfy
Shower wasn't very powerful and didnt get warm.

.
Comfortable, well presented with a river view. A good range of snacks/biscuits was provided as breakfast wasn't available.
Bathroom had a sliding door which didn't afford total privacy. There was no milk for tea or coffee in the morning, but we did have fruit juice. We should have checked for the milk.
Central location, quaint old pub.
Shame they don’t offer breakfast, but plenty of cafes nearby.
Such a pretty building and setting. Even only for one night, my friend and I loved our stay in the twin room overlooking the harbour! The room was beautiful and spotless! The treats were fab! We would definitly return! Dinner das really good! Thank you.
We visit Cornwall (from Plymouth)a lot and stay stay in many different hotels and BnBs ! There was nothing to dislike and Harbour Moon was beyond our expectations!
I love the location. The view from the bedroom is just enchanting. We have stayed at room 4 and we loved it. All staff is very friendly and they do make you feel welcome. The decorations in the pub are really cool and the food at the restaurant is amazing. I was very happy to see local fresh fish on the menu as this was one of the reasons I wanted to visit Looe.
.
Location was great, my visit was for work, staff friendly, bed comfy… all good
Blackout blind might have been nice .. not a criticism more of a suggestion
The location, friendly staff, Restaurant.
The decor.
Room was clean and tidy the problems were the hot tap was broken and hot water very difficult juat a little tricky to get the shower was blocked nor value for money

Location was fantastic. I didn't eat there, went to cafe that was recommended and it was very good. The snacks in room were great too. Very comfortable bed. View was great
Room was abit chilly. But then the weather was cooler than expected. I should have asked for a heater
Where it was situated, you couldn’t have a better view. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
There wasn’t anything
No contact with the hotel. I sent messages, tried calling, and still haven't received any answers to my questions! This isn't serious to me.
Excellent location Staff lovely Clean Great hospitality tray with goodies
Toilet across the hall, we assumed private bathroom meant in the room. Had to make load of noise to get into the bathroom as door not fit well, not ideal at 2am Room bit damp smelling No breakfast
The view, the room, the food
Nothing!
As always the staff were very welcoming and the food delicious. The atmosphere is great..Room clean and cozy. Beds comfy. Lovely robes to use and plenty of clean towels and a big tele. Free WiFi in the bar
The price has more than doubled since we first started going and the breakfast basket with homemade scones are no more. There were no little miniature toiletries now and no bin in the bathroom. No WiFi in the bedroom.
Best hotel room I’ve had in a long time. The staff were fantastic. Food amazing. Location….wow!!! Value for money for where I was. I travel every week with work in the southwest and it was so wonderful to stay somewhere spotless, friendly, beautiful and so comfy. The rooms have all had beautiful make overs. I had an ensuite room facing the sea.. if you stay away a lot, some small things are really important. This place smashed it, see my photos
It wasn’t a problem for me as I’m able bodied, but you have to park up the road a bit. It’s a 4-5 min walk to hotel, just something to be aware of.
Very nice location
Needs updating
Brilliant location, rooms very comfortable and the view was great. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Food and drinks excellent choice and good value. Would visit again.
Was under the impression that parking was available at this Hotel as stated when booking,as my husband and myself have disabilities and find it difficult to walk distances, the only parking was a good way from the property and as well as this we had to pay £16 for overnight parking. Also I thought the hotel would have a lift, the stairs to our room was very steep given our immobility was very difficult, and found the bed to be very uncomfortable.
great
nothing
Room was excellent but en-suite cramped.
We hadn't realised that there was no cooked breakfast. Also when we booked we said we would arrrve between 2 and 3pm. When we arrived we were told rooms were not normally available until 4pm.
Room was very comfortable, although a bit dated. Breakfast was continental and plentiful. We could not fault the location as the view from our room was absolutely beautiful. As we were on a motorbike we picked this for the on site parking which was stated in the description, the only parking is across the bridge from the accommodation which you can only park a bike for 24 hours in, this meant that we had to move the bike a few times which was not very convenient.
Parking
I had a view of the river, and the landlady's home made cheese scones were amazing 👏
I would have preferred an ensuite bathroom, instead of a private bathroom across the way, as a lone female I felt vulnerable walking across to the bathroom in the night.
No full breakfast as was expecting , poor continental bkfst , milk was stale , bkfst was apparently " complimentary " ?
Poor staff interaction where Room was concerned , bathroom wasn't refreshed or towels changed , smelly bathroom from kitchen below " cooking oil " , cigarette butt's on outside of window sills! Poor decor maintenance and Fire check door stops about 25 years out of regulations? Do they have a valid Fire Chiefs Certificate ???
nothing the place was truly horrible
Food in the restaurant was very good, wasn't doing breakfast as it was boxing day but supplied yoghurt 's, cornflakes and cheese scones. Right on the harbour in the middle of town
No parking and toilet didn't flush very well
Great location
No parking and bathroom not next to the room
Wonderful young lady behind the bar, who was very busy made time to welcome me and show me to the room. I had a peaceful stay, and in the morning the main person in charge of cleaning g the hotel and rooms was also most helpful as I prepared to leave.
For the room I stayed in the toilet/shower was separate. But this was a small issue.
The location. Fantastic christmas lights and displays everywhere! The most amazing christmas display was at the The Salutation Inn Pub in Looe The theme was The Polar Express The bar and seating area was made to look like a railway carriage with Northern light displays through the carraige windows. The ceiling was completely decorated with beautifull baubles. Fabulous food and excellent staff.
The harbour Moon bar! Alot of effort made with xmas cosy areas to sit and beautifull view through the windows but spoiled by a pool table and loud music! Not relaxing and difficult to have a conversation! Result empty bar!
It’s easy to get to and the rooms are quirky. We were left a cute little Christmas gift on this occasion - a lovely little touch!
Nothing - it was all great!
Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great. Extras were really lovely
Nothing
Location
The room was very small. The bar staff were not friendly and Vaped behind the bar
Atmosphere, comfort and exceptional staff. Really nice comfortable atmosphere and room.
Nothing to dislike.
The view from our room was gorgeous. I love Looe Housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful Room was lovely and clean .
Stayed 2 nights no continental breakfast basket on the second morning so we left very hungry. Bathroom very small .
had a loverly time
cannot find a fault
Great location, staff friendly, cute little room, the little touches in the room are great.
We liked it all, Lower score on the cleanliness due to the extractor fan having alot of fluff hanging out
Stayed at the harbour moon for one night after a Christmas party in looe. Easy check in and out. Friendly staff. Room was lovely. Well equipped with comfy bed.
I thought there was parking outside but there wasn't and had to park in a public car park. Was only a 3 minute walk away though so no big deal.
