Zen Suites by Regente

We stayed in a top floor apartment (4th floor), with a large corner balcony with beautiful views towards the North and East. The apartment is very nice, spacious and comfortable. It is like in the photos. The location is in Reforma, a nice district, north of the historic downtown, with residential and commercial buildings. The hotel is virtually across from a shopping centre. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery and pharmacies all within 2-5 minutes walking. The staff was very kind and helpful.

It was perfect.

Zen Suites by Regente was the perfect apartment for our trip to Oaxaca. We needed a very late check-in at 11:30 Pm and a very early check-out at 4:00 Am this was no problem. We needed an apartment with free parking. The apartment was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I asked for a floor fan; I like to have a fan running to sleep. Again, no problem; the fan was already in the apartment on arrival. Everything was perfect; we had no issues.

Everthing was perfect no complaints.

Tolle Unterkunft in guter Lage. Stellplatz in Tiefgarage für Auto und Restaurants bzw. Cafés waren exzellent. Ausstattung und Design der Wohnung war sehr gut, wobei die Küche eher klein ausfällt.

Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße. Zu Stoßzeiten ist es lauter, nachts jedoch ruhig.

Zeer ruim appartement met leuke inrichting. Personeel is heel vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Op de kamer is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt.

Locatie is wat verder weg van alles, maar daar krijg je heel veel ruimte voor terug.

The apartment was large, clean & well located. Talia Vargas @ the front desk was an absolute gem. Our stay would not have been as memorable if we did not encounter her.

I booked two apartments for my friends and I. Please see my previous review. The girls loved everything about the apartment as well.

Everything! The décor, the beds, the rooms, the bathroom, the location, the fact that it has a lift, how clean it was and that daily housekeeping was provided. The staff were also incredibly friendly, especially Talia.

The only downside was some street noise from around 6am if you have a room on the street side (I believe this is mainly the apartments with balconies). I’m a fairly light sleeper, but luckily I had earplugs. That said, I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Oaxaca City.

For the juinor suite, the shower was extremely small. Pleather couches were OK in the living room area, but really could do with a bathroom upgrade. Loved the size of the suite but would expect a bigger bathroom.

Beautifully decorated, clean, and loved that there were two bathrooms and the kitchen. Close to convenience stores, coffee, pizza, and other restaurants.

Would be great if drinking water had been provided every day. It was also next to impossible to find English channels on TV. A little far away from the center – 25 minute walk.

All Hotel facilities and rooms are well designed, clean, comfortable and modern. Beds are very comfortable. The highlight of this hotel is its kind and helpful Staff who made us feel as if we were staying with family.

Expect some noise from the road during the day.

The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Very clean. It had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen.

No AC in the living room or kitchen. No window screens. Mosquitos got in the room when we open the windows. Front desk staff are like hawks watching every move we make. Don’t make our guests feel welcome. I as a guest never felt welcome. I stayed seven nights. The hotel manager is rude.

Rooms were very noisy both from inside the building and outside. We had a junior suite and could hear everything in the living room, kitchen and other room. Could even hear the other people snoring from within the room and could hear the elevator from just outside the door. The rooms smelled bad, sewer smell and there were not many windows to get any kind of cross breeze. Staff at check in were friendly and helpful, but not as friendly when checking out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great apartment! Very clean with lots of space. Staff were super nice. I picked this place as they had underground secure parking which was excellent for our rental car. We were surprised how nice the apartment was and how many different restaurants and coffee shops were in this area. A bit of a walk from downtown but this was good to burn off the calories from all the great food in Oaxaca.

Beautiful suite only some perks that leave room for improvement, for instance replenishing the daily coffee stock would have been helpful, offering guidance regarding significant sites to visit. Thanks a great stay overall!

The suites are actually the size of an apartment, and exquisitely decorated. The Hotel has no amenities, but we really didn't miss them as we where out all day.

The wrap around porch is spectacular. The decorations are stunning and look exactly like pictures. The bed was superbly comfortable and the showers water pressure was perfect along with enough hot water.

It’s on a really busy street, so the balcony is never quiet. The shower drain has a smell, common, but nothing to cover the drain to keep the smell in. The shower has a window that opens into a hall utility closet. Literally, not figuratively. As others have said, the bedroom AC isn’t really strong enough to reach the living room and you need to keep the blinds closed to keep the space comfortable. Disappointing because the windows are amazing. The parking is very small, awkward to get into, and you have to ask to have them open it. It felt a bit like staying at a friend’s mom’s house, uncomfortable.

Very nice location a little bit away from the busy centro but a nice 30 minute walk to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing suite, we couldn’t believe how big it was & my wife was over the moon as she could escape to the 2nd bedroom when I started snoring! 😂 The staff were brilliant too!

Was a bit too far from the centre. The taps were a bit weird & coffee was chargeable after the 1st morning’s supply.

Great place everything was perfect. Except for hard matresses and pillows. Floor in condo can be cleaned better. Other than thst , it was wonderful.

Our suite was beautiful and very clean and the front desk staff was excellent. Bus to town right outside of hotel and lots of restaurants within walking distance and very safe. Small problem with a leaky shower in one of the bathrooms so we used the other bathroom, no big deal for us as the suite was awesome.

The staff were so warm and welcoming. We got really delayed on arrival and they waited until the early hours of the morning and were so pleasant and helpful about it. There was always someone to say hello and to welcome us back. The apartment was big, bright, very comfortable and in a brilliant location. We were close to great restaurants and bars.

We’re to start. Front desk was amazing helping us plan and giving us great advice. The location was close to a lot of restaurants but not as busy as the zocolo (10 min taxi). Room size, there was 6 of us spread between 2 rooms and we had plenty of space.

Siempre habrá algún detalle por mejorar, pero la balanza es por mucho positiva. Sin dudar volvería a estar ahí, y lo recomendaría a mis cercanos. Espacio, limpieza, equipamiento, calidad.. Para ser perfecto, faltaría mejorar el estacionamiento que es muy pequeño, y un poco de luminosidad en algunas áreas.. Pero no son nada, comparado con todo lo bueno que ofrecen.. Estuvimos en familia, 4 adultos, muy agusto, disfrutando la estancia al máximo. Gracias...

Las instalaciones y el servicio fue increíble, la habitación tiene una gran vista a Oaxaca, lujoso tiene todo (platos, refri, estufa, microondas, tostador) para pasar unas vacaciones si no quieres salir y solo disfrutar, además de que el personal siempre fue muy atento. Les cuento que tengan cuidado con los Airbnb por que al inicio rente uno pero estaba espantoso por eso buscamos otra opción y por mil valió la pena este hotel.
