Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre - Pincher Creek

The staff are exceptional, very Customer focused.Nothing was too much trouble. My wife had injured her foot and was stuck in the room..no problem for Blue who works in the restaurant, a to go meal sorted (delicious), and another satisfied customer. This morning we received excellent service from Janet, who is very personable and looked after us like we were royalty. A great location for anyone who wants to explore the area, in particular Waterton. Definitely will stay there again!!

I have no niggles or complaints about this hotel. The rooms are a great size and clean and tidy!!

We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, the location wad idea, close to all the amenities we used.

I originally booked the king bed room, but when we arrived we were given a 2 queen size because we had dogs, the price was higher than expected our room was in the back our view was the unpaved back half of the lot by the garage.

The room with 2 beds was a suite which had a full kitchen. It was clean and beautifully decorated with lots of seating. The staff was wonderfully welcome and even gave us welcoming cookies. They also had a nice continental breakfast which we didn't expect.

The property appears poorly maintained and in need of significant improvement. The guest reception area was extremely dark and would benefit from better lighting. The first room assigned to us was very small and visibly dirty, with heavily stained carpets. We had specifically requested a room with two queen beds, but the room contained only one bed. Although the staff promptly corrected the booking error, the replacement room—Room 209—was equally unclean and unacceptable. The condition was so unpleasant that we remained in our vehicle in the parking lot for as long as possible to minimize the time spent in the room. At approximately midnight, my wife and son woke me after discovering what appeared to be a bed bug, which they had captured on a paper towel. Concerned for our health and belongings, we immediately packed and checked out. The front-desk employee apologized profusely for the situation. At our request, she also provided a letter on the hotel’s official letterhead acknowledging what we had found in the room. This was an extremely disappointing experience. When making the reservation, I mistakenly believed this was another hotel where I had stayed the previous year, and unfortunately, that oversight proved costly. I cannot recommend this hotel in its current condition. It requires a thorough professional cleaning, pest inspection, and substantial renovation. The hotel is also attached to a restaurant, but based on the overall cleanliness of the property, we were not comfortable dining there.

They had ample parking

The room smelt like dirty cleaning rags the whole stay. The drains must of been partially clogged as the sink and tub would always fill up when you used it and slow drain after. The electrical sockets were old and could barely hold any plugs in them. Adding a plug for a phone charger where the bedside light was plugged in would cause the light to turn off. Didn’t feel very safe. The breakfast was sub-par, equivalent to a hospital buffet. Really wish I didn’t pay for the upgrade to get the breakfasts. Would have been better off going out for McDonald’s. There are many other good options in Pincher Creek. Wish I knew it beforehand. Will never go back to this place.

The breakfast was really good both mornings we were there.

We paid over $600 for two nights, and the hotel room was small, they couldn’t even fit one of the nightstands on one side of the bed so there was a random night stand against a different wall than the bed. Our toilet didn’t work properly, we had to lift the thing on the back in order for it to properly flush each time. When booking I don’t remember seeing that it was pet friendly. My spouse has bad allergies so we wouldn’t have stayed here if we knew. One of the ladies working the front, every time we came there she couldn’t get up from her desk in the back room to talk to us. She would talk to us from back there. Found it quite rude.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Location was good. We had our Papillon with us and our room was on the ground floor and close to entrance making it convenient for walking her.

Because I am a senior citizen I would have liked hand bars and non-slip bath/shower.

Stopped in on a rainy afternoon to have a bite to eat and so glad we did. The staff is beyond friendly and accommodating, the food fantastic and very reasonable as well. Four of us ordered different meals and all super impressed. Worth the stop!

It was dirty, not clean, looks like the space has never been cleaned. Day 2 of our trip they "cleaned" our room and one of the beds wasn't even made. I'd never stay here again!

The hotel offers basically good facilities, although the rooms are on the smaller side. The carpets and bathroom are clean but the beds are basic. There is a good-sized pool and hot tub, but no slide. The restaurant is highly rated amongst local eateries and the hotel does host tour buses, presumably on their way to Waterton which, incidentally, is lacking in any impressive accommodation. Nevertheless, the Heritage is over-priced.

No series complaints apart from room size and the price. It is a good, basic hotel.

At the time of check-in, the long haired young guy at the reception seems just a stupid, I have not faved such kind of weird experience in my entire life. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights via booking.com. He intended to charge me double amount than it was specified in my booking.com wallet and he tried to be stick to it though he was fully wrong also argued with me and didn’t listen to me. At last he was obliged to call his manager and manager found that the reception guy was wrong, said me sorry, although had no intention to apologize for his wrong deed. Just wondering how come this kind of immature guy work in the front desk. This is the worst reception I got so far in my entire life! Also room amenities were poor and old, the carpet seems ice aged very dirty indeed!

Very Comfy, spacious and clean.

The best part of our stay was the pool. It was a nice facility, the water was warm and it was a salt water pool.

The price was definitely too high for the quality of the hotel and the room. There was no elevator. The plumbing wasn’t great and we heard the people next to us flushing their toilet and talking all night.

The first day of breakfast was weird, there was no bread, no oatmeal, no fruit no... And this was at 9:40 am! After we complained they served us the bread & oatmeal separately, the other days it was ok but the oatmeal was always cold-ish. The ice machine was far from our room and there was just one ice machine.

We checked in as a family of 4 but only two bath towels were given. Room was cleaned the first day (awesome, did not expect that),but bath mat and the one towel that was used were not replaced. We did just used our pool towels. We could have used another little shampoo.

Weird layout - parts of the hotel have elevator access and parts don’t. When asked if it was possible to have a ground floor room told no. So had to heave a 30kg bag up a flight of stairs. I didn’t get a sense that the hotel was busy so curious about lack of ground floor room availability or being able to stay in the side of the hotel with an elevator. The tiled stairs up to rooms needed a good clean.

We have stayed here twice and really like this hotel. The rooms are nice, the pool and hot tub is great, staff is good and they let us check in early. We had included breakfast in our package, which was also really good.

I thought the breakfast was excellent. The hotel was very quiet.

The single use coffee units are environmentally wasteful. I did not like the garbage created by them. Also did not like the plastic glasses and foam coffee cups provided. Again too much waste created. I bring my own cups and glasses but should not have to. That is my only complaint about your facility .

It was a cleantoom bed was comfy.

Some parts of the hotel are quite dated our room only had a bathroom mirror. there was no full length mirror in the unit. Towels were mismatched.

I did not like the food it wasnt even that good yes we did eat it but we didnt want to be rude when we asked for steak we got burger instead the breakfast wasnt even free for us even when I booked on booking.com apparently it was optional even when it said it was free even had to pay for breakfast and that wasnt even good had heart burn just eating there food the even waiter had a shit attitude until she did a bump and was all a sudden nice but the waiter in the morning was perfect need some work with your food and one certain waiter member

В кімнаті було чисто та прибрано, персонал завжди старався допомогти.Непоганий сніданок, є декілька страв на вибір (але нажаль не вистачало овочів/салату). На території є басейн. Під час нашого відпочинку було також багато сімей з дітьми, тому цей готель можна вважати сімейним місцем відпочинку, на мою думку.

Оскільки це бюджетний готель, нажаль в номері було декілька плям на килимі та потертостей/плям на стінах. Також обігрівач/кондиціонер виглядав дуже старим, тому ми його не використовували.

Our room was not clean. There was rice on the nightstand, cutlery under the table, a fortune cookie and a roll of electrical tape found in our room from previous guest. In the bathroom, the garbage wasn’t emptied and there was soap scum from a bar of soap on the sink. Also from the previous guest. They went in our room even with a do not disturb sign on the door. Took our soap and didn’t replace it. Kind of made the bed but not really…was a very odd experience.

We didn't feel it was up to the three star rating. There was a lamp only on one side of the bed. No mirror outside the bathroom. The room had an "old" smell. The breakfast was fine but very limited options. This was the third 3-star hotel we stayed at during this trip. And it didn't come close to as nice as the other two.

Proximity to Castle Mountain, excellent breakfast, comfy beds, swimming pool, hot tub, friendly staff.

Sound proofing isn’t great but once the heater was on, the white noise helped. Hot tub could be a bit hotter. It’s not supposed to be a boujee hotel, so expect some minor dings on walls and a little roughness.

Check in was messed up - charged double for two rooms than quoted. Mistake was rectified once I pointed it out. Loud guests after midnight in the halls and slamming doors. Then woken up at 5:30am by someone throwing up in the next room. Put on loud bathroom fan to drown out the noise and sleep for another hour

Bed was comfortable, location and amenities. Staff were accommodating when we had trouble with the TV. Did not have time to use the pool area but it looked nice.

Heating unit was a little noisy, other than that there were no issues.

Average room, average cleanliness (surface level). I didn't like that there wasn't a swing lock on the door. When I checked in I asked about the breakfast (included in the rate I paid on Hotels.com) and I was given a menu for the restaurant on site. When I got to breakfast in the morning, I was informed I could only order 1 of 3 items. Pool/Hot tub area was nice, I liked that I could control the music.

It was awesome to have a room available with 3 queen beds!! This is pretty rare to find and made the trip really affordable for us b/c often we have to get 2 rooms bc we are travelling w 3 girls. The pool & hot tub was super awesome; breakfast that was included was really good - total surprise for us b/c we didn't realize it was included!

The bathroom/shower situation was strange but ok - would be really nice to have a sink in the same room as the toilet. The lighting in the room as a whole was only ok compared to other similar hotels. The main thing i noticed was lack of recycling - maybe time to modernize those options!
