The Lake George Inn

Absolute awful customer service, our room was damaged and unavailable for our stay. Instead of making accommodations at one of their four properties, they canceled our reservation for a family of 7. I was told “sorry, lake George is all booked up. We have one other option but it will cost you alot more.” I asked to speak to the owner, instead I received a text stating my refund is being processed. In my 40 plus years of staying in resorts at lake George, I have never had a worse response. To be told I can pay twice as much or cancel my vacation is absurd.

I didn't know there was breakfast. It was further from Saratoga race track than I thought. I actually got lost. But I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The room was for the most part very clean. My daughter and I, the dad, found the beds to be very comfortable and we both slept well. Friendly staff and the location was convenient, as was the price. Water pressure is good.

There were stains I found on one of the bed sheets and one of the pillows was very stained and discolored. My wife did not like the mattress and did not sleep well, which is surprising because the beds here are softer than our mattress at home. The rooms are very much due to be updated. TV needs to be wall mounted. The walkways outside both sides of the room didn't feel very sturdy and my daughter would freak out having to walk on them.

Pool wasnt even deep, only one grill, right next to the highway so it’s hard to sleep, staff was a little rude when i said I lost the key.

Very outdated, very dark in the rooms with no additional lights, vending machine took money and didn’t dispense drinks. Made staff aware and there was no resolution. It was only $6 they could have just given us the three waters we were trying to get out of the machine

Room had a slight smell. Curtains did not cover the window completely. Poor lighting. Toilet paper holder was broke.

We did we’re not able to stay at this tacitly after seeing the room

The room was unsafe. Power strips laying on the floors. The smoke alarm was missing from the wall. It had centipedes crawling in the sink

Pas grand chose ,l'emplacement était près du centre environ10min à pied la chambre très basic ,le tapis plein de tache détecteur de fumée manquant, mon épouse ses blessé sur une pièce de métal qui sortait de sous le lit,chambre très vieillotte besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement,toilette pas de tablette pour mettre les chose etoas de crochet pour serviette,j'ai du reserrer la pomme de douche car elle fuyait de partout,le calorifère de la salle de bain plein de poussière sur les ailettes de métal, ont à eu la seule chambre avec vue sur l'escalier avec un contour en treillis de bois et une machine à glaçons qui ne fonctionnait pas,et de plus la personne a l'accueille était blasé nous parlait avec la tête accoster sur la main,un motel qui manque vraiment d'amour pour 400.dollard canadien pour 2 nuit ça ne valais pas ça.

Rooms were clean for the most part. It was a decent facility for the price.

There was no ice machine so we had to walk across a busy street to the motel to get ice. Parking was extremely tight. The refrigerator and microwave were located in the closet so there was no room to hang your clothes and the shelf the refrigerator on was leaning forward so everything in the refrigerated would fall out when you open the door.

It's a no frills motel, but the location is great, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. However, the.carpeting was so filthy that when I got out of the shower and walked to the bed, the bottoms of my feet were turned black! The floor also turned our brand new white socks black! Also, the office door was disgustingly dirty with greasy hand and fingerprints smeared all over it. In the bathroom, at the top of the shower stall, the plaster was damaged and there were scuff.marks on the wall and filthy residue. The bathroom door was broken very dirty. The paint on the door to our room (room 10) was very chipped and bubbled. In addition we were looking forward to the free coffee we were told would be available at 8 AM, but when we went to the office, it was locked and no one was in there. The employees didn't show up until almost 10 AM.

The room was a bit outdated but clean and roomy. Great location to get around the Lake George area. Parking was adequate.

Parking is a bit cramped. A bigger refrigerator would have been nice. The noise from above woke us in our sleep.

unfriendly staff,very rude! rooms were dark and musty as was locked office.waited a good 20 min for staff to arrive and deal with us. no staff at property at all times. rusted outdoor ice machine and no ice.

Location to highway and Pool was nice.

No staff at hotel. We had to text a number to check in. Bed frame was missing a wheel and sitting on 2x4s Bed frame and box spring were bent which caused mattress to sag 6+inches in the middle.A/C barely kept room cool We didn't sleep well any of the nights there. Will not stay here again. Metal Railings rotted out at the bottoms and loose made us nervous using the stairs.. Every year the hotels are getting worse. It's sad.

The property is right on the main road. It’s close to everything.

The wall paper was peeling off the walls in the room. The bottom of the fridge was rusty on the bottom side when it was opened and the temperature knob kept spinning around. The curtains were dirty on the sliding glass door. There was pop corn under both my beds. The toilet seat in the second room was broken and I’m had to be replaced while we were there. I’ve stayed at this property for years with my family. It’s changed a lot over the last 2 years.

The location is prime.

There is no staff, you have to text someone and then someone appears in 45 minutes. There is no umbrellas by their pool, I had to have wal mart deliver me one. There was evidence of mice infestation. The weird pool rules and schedule. There was no ice machine. The beds were terrible.

Not on the web page buy I was charged an extra 35 dollars for checking in early. 4th of July weekend and the place had vacancies. I had to clean a sink drain of hair and scum.

It was right in town and we could walk everywhere. The receptionist was very kind trying to fix all the issues. It was clean.

We had to ask for our coffee machine, coffee and cups and they put us in the wrong room, so we had to move after a couple hours of being there.

There’s not much Iiked. No one works here. It’s very odd. There was hardly any guests. Who ever makes up strange rules. There’s was no towels. Room was dirty. There was no patio umbrellas.

There was no patio umbrellas, the grounds were filthy and Cobb/spider webs everywhere. Strange rules. Very rude staff, office is always closed and locked.

The location was convenient for the Americade event we came for.

There was almost no staff. Ice machine was broken and we were told to use the facility across the street. Nothing available in the office for coffee, snacks or even a vending machine. Cleanliness was acceptable but the property is severely run down. We have stayed here three times in the past but won't be returning.

Location and rate…

Unauthorized people were coming in and out my room. As if a key to my room was passed out to the community.

Location was great. We were able to walk to the village. Our room was bigger than expected. We would stay in the same room again.

Parking - there is not enough. Coming back from dinner there was no where to park.

Beds were comfortable. 4 pillows per bed. Clean. Looked freshly painted. Check-In was easy. Cold air conditioner. Standard cable 40” tv.

Limited but just enough parking. Front Desk Clerk was not very friendly. Didn’t make me feel like a welcomed guest. Not mean but very mechanical.

This hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes to the stores, and about 20 minutes to the beach area. Nice area for a walk even at night. The city bus from the beach area took us to the hotel (corner street) It was raining that day. It was a big help since we left our car in the hotel parking lot.

Nothing rude staff. Rugs were soaking wet and they had no place to give us that had a/c. Outlets in room were coming off wall. Afraid to sit on anything cause it was dirty and smelled

Summer is coming to an end. Water was freezing ..says it had a heated pool, thats y we came. It was not.... also pools opens too late in the an if u have kids 90% of the time they wake up ready to swim......

A bit of a strange location for a pool right by two busy roads.

This place was filthy and not fit for a animal never did I see such filth stay away I can't even begin to tell you how disgusting this place is and they took my money when I didn't even stay there after seeing the inside and smelling how bad it was beware
