Family room was nicer and larger than I was expecting.

Breakfast service was a little chaotic with drink and food orders not quite as requested.

La posizione è bellissima, di fronte alla spiaggia. Veramente incantevole. L'edificio è simpatico. L'atmosfera del locale la sera del check in era caratteristica, calda, piacevole, mi ha colpito la presenza di tanti cani all'interno, seduti accanto ai padroni. Abbiamo mangiato bene, non divinamente ma bene. La mia stanza era abbastanza ampia e con una bella vista. La signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile. Ho apprezzato il bollitore, il biscottino e il tè in camera. La sala dove si mangia ha vetrate e una buona vista.

A parte la mancanza di ascensore,che lo rende un hotel non accessibile a persone disabili o anziane, siamo rimasti male perchè una delle tre camere, stesso prezzo delle altre, era minuscola, senza vista, davvero disagevole e si sentiva il brusio del locale sottostante. In tutte le camere, i letti non erano comodi, i materassi sembravano un po' inclinati. Poi devo sottolineare, non solo al Bandstand ma in molti posti in Scozia, la velocità con cui il personale parlava inglese: nonostante sia noto a tutti che l'accento scozzese è quasi incomprensibile agli stranieri non abituati, le comunicazioni della cameriera a cena sono avvenute in modo super rapido e con modi sbrigativi. In generale in Scozia poche persone sembrano interessate a farsi comprendere dai clienti, non rallentano quando parlano e questo lo trovo davvero poco carino. E nei ristoranti hanno spesso troppa fretta e sono rudi. La colazione però è stato il vero neo: ci hanno portato subito le bevande che si sono totalmente freddate perché poi abbiamo aspettato almeno 45 minuti per due semplici pancakes e un milky bread, e la signora delle colazioni non veniva a scusarci o a darci spiegazioni, si limitava a ignorarci (avrebbe perlomeno potuto portarci pane e burro...), anzi quando le abbiamo chiesto di rifarci il cappuccino perchè era freddo lo ha preso senza un sorriso e borbottando scuse a denti stretti, dicendo che stavamo arrivati tutti insieme e il cuoco era uno solo. Sbalorditiva come giustificazione, perché c'era solo una coppia oltre noi!! Inaccettabile. Veramente. Poi le cose che ci hanno portato erano buone. Ma non si può aspettare così tanto per una colazione, semplice come questa, per di più. E potando prima le bevande, che ovviamente si freddano totalmente!

Nothing really but would have liked bigger coffee cups for breakfast or offered a top up.

Had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant- all the meals were great. Steak and ale pie was particularly delicious. View from the room and restaurant is spectacular. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Shower was small, dated, and just had a hand wand.

Paul and his staff are so friendly and welcoming. Beautiful view from the restaurant over the green towards the beach. Food was very good and a great choice of beers. Regular live bands.

I had to hold the blind up to view the green and sea, it might be me.

The location was central, staff were nice and pleasant, check in was easy and bed was comfortable.

Carpets was messy and not really fitted too great, mould in the shower and the breakfast service was quite slow, only got the butter for my toast halfway through eating my breakfast.

Location brilliant, never got breakfast as wasn't serving on Sunday, and were told we would get a £10 a head reduction in our price which never received.

Struttura a due passi dalla spiaggia con ristorante al piano terra con eventi e musica dal vivo ogni sera. Camera con dimensioni adeguate per due persone ma noi avevamo vista interna. Letto migliorabile. Ottima e abbondante colazione a scelta nel menu

The staff, the food, the location, all excellent!

Nice view (it's very near Nairn beach) and the restaurant is good (and friendly).

Street parking only, to be fair we did find a space when we arrived after 5pm.

Great location although lack of on site parking could beca problem for some but there is plenty of on street parking nearby. Staff were friendly and the hotel had a good atmosphere.

Restaurant menu was ok but not great choice and three choices were sold out even though it was only 7pm. Prices reasonable but not cheap.

The location is perfect (amazing view face the sea!), rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean, breakfast is huge and “à la carte” (everything delicious!) and the staff professional and friendly! We would definitely suggest anyone to come here! Plus: the restaurant is also very good even just for having dinner!

Great location overlooking the beach. The bar and restaurant were lovely, good food. We had dinner and breakfast there both really good.

The shower could be better, the flow wasn't very powerful,but that's just nit picking. Our room was perfect apart from the shower.

Great location, very friendly staff, comfy room, excellent bar and nice breakfast choices well cooked.

The only issue to be aware of is that the Bandstand is a popular and busy music hub with no apparent restraint on the volume. In our room, it was only possible to contemplate sleeping after the place cleared at about 00:30. I suspect that, such was the volume, the other rooms would have been equally affected. An otherwise excellent wee pub/hotel, I recommend that you check about live music events before you book - unless of course, you're taking part!

The staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond for me and my dog. Solo travelling with a pet can be difficult but it was made so easy for me at The Bandstand!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Bandstand Hotel, room was comfortable and relaxing. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was delicious. Wonderful views of Nairn beach and the Moray firth and now a big fan of Cullen Skink soup.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij de bandstand. Het personeel was super vriendelijk, de kamer was netjes en de bar was erg gezellig! Savonds hebben we genoten van een super mooie zonsondergang op het strand wat op loopafstand van het hotel ligt.

Had a great two night stay at the Bandstand and would happily go back again. Every single member of staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Probably some of the best staff attitudes I have come across - it seemed to go beyond just a job and how they should react with their guests. Thank you all. Food was great too. Breakfast menu is superb with huge choice and even different coffees. Really enjoyed dinner too - I had the vegetable galette and it was clearly home made and delicious. Thank you to all in the kitchen. Enjoyed the beers too Very dog friendly - allowed throughout apart from dining room which is fair.

Ausgesprochen individuelles Frühstück a la Carte; sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Selbst die Küchenchefin bemühte sich persönlich um unser Wohl. Das Zimmer entsprach der englischen Küstenurlaubs-Tradition. Die gesamte Betreuung bis hin zur Bar war ausgesprochen nett und sympathisch

I had an evening meal which was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return if in the area.

The breakfast could have been hotter but that is just my preference for food.

I very good stay with my relatives from Canada. The Bandstand is in a great location . The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds have comfortable mattresses. The food was very good The staff are very friendly and helpful and a good breakfast ( not buffet style)was included in the price

The some of the rooms are on the smaller side if you have a lot of luggage

Lovely big room with a window overlooking the beach, and another window overlooking the patio. Nice to have a chair by the window and rack to hang your coats. I was a little concerned that it might be noisy from the bar below, but we didn’t hear a thing. Good location close to Culloden.

The shower mechanism was ridiculously noisy. What a clunker! Tiny bathroom with nowhere to put toiletries.

Nice location and the food in the restaurant was good. The nice were very friendly as well.

Terrible sagging bed in room 9. You can feel the metal boxsprings while lying down. We asked for our room to get freshened up daily and they do a terrible job with this. Trash stays full, no new toilet brought, bed stays messy even after a few days. Flat sheets only instead of fitted. I’ve never seen a hotel in Scotland neglect the rooms like this one does.

This is a lovely, family run hotel with friendly helpful staff. Our room had a stunning sea view and a huge, comfortable bed. The breakfast was a highlight. Cooked to perfection.

Be mindful if you are on the top floor there is no lift. Staff carried our bags up for us.

Room small as a double, shower not great (water temperature kept changing), dinner menu poor and really “pub-grub” in type rather than Hotel standard. Bar staff turned off bar TV while golf on with no asking if we were watching. TV in room very poor. Didn’t get Sports channel. Work in bedroom adjacent to ours going on which were unaware/uninformed of.

The breakfast was tasty however the Lorne Sausage and the tattie scones were the smallest I ever seen , the room was clean and comfy and I had a good quiet nights sleep ,The view from the hotel over the beach to the see was nice , spoilt only by the aircon and heating ducts outside my room window .

Unfortunately, the weather was cold , damp and dark when I arrived, however it was sunny in the morning and the views looked lovely

Rooms were a bit small but fine for one night. Live music (on a Saturday night when I was there), was heard softly in one of our rooms, nothing in the other (finished at 11:30) so if you don’t like live music maybe ask before booking.
