Breakfast was excellent.

Staff were disinterested. Too many guests overall, a great many smoking. Gym was a joke. Little things like the quality of toilet paper in the restrooms was cheap.

Atmosfera molto rilassata, resort in pieno rispetto del contesto naturale in cui è inserito. Bellissima la Infinity Pool con vista sulla spiaggia. Si trova in un bellissimo punto di Hwang a giusta distanza dalla movida sfrenata del Nord di Chaweng. Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera con balcone, la tipologia più semplice fra le varie, ed era molto confortevole e carina.

Cleaning romm only late afternoon

Room size is too small for a resort charging very high rates. No amenities. I’ve travelled quite a lot and stayed in many hotels, and I wouldn’t pay more than $150/night at this hotel ($400/night I paid assuming it would be awesome. )

Excellent location right on the beach! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food was good quality and great drinks deals. The room was comfortable and clean. Lovely clean beach with massage beds.

Der Strand

Die Hotelanlage ist aus unserer Sicht nur bedingt für Familien geeignet. Der Swimmingpool war zwar schön gestaltet, aber sehr klein. Es gab zwar ein flaches Becken für Kinder, dieses wirkte jedoch eher wie ein kleiner Bereich mit einer Rutsche und bot kaum Möglichkeiten zum Spielen oder Schwimmen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind das sehr gute Frühstück sowie der wunderschöne Strand. Das Wasser war kristallklar und die Strandpromenade hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist allerdings ein Nachteil. Das Hotel liegt relativ weit vom Zentrum von Chaweng entfernt, sodass man für Ausflüge oder Restaurantbesuche meist auf ein Taxi angewiesen ist. Das Personal war insgesamt freundlich und der Service war zufriedenstellend bis gut. Was unseren Aufenthalt jedoch deutlich beeinträchtigt hat, war die Geräuschkulisse an der Bar. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren viele israelische Touristen im Hotel, die sich dort regelmäßig bis spät aufhielten und mit mitgebrachtem Alkohol laut feierten. Dadurch war es insbesondere am Abend häufig sehr laut, was wir als sehr störend empfanden. Insgesamt überzeugt das Hotel vor allem durch den schönen Strand und das gute Frühstück. Die kleinen, dunklen Zimmer, die eingeschränkte Familienfreundlichkeit sowie die teilweise starke Lärmbelästigung haben unseren Aufenthalt jedoch deutlich getrübt. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein und überhaupt nicht geräumig. Wir waren mit drei Personen unterwegs, darunter ein sechsjähriges Kind. Obwohl wir das Zimmer für drei Personen gebucht hatten, war kein zusätzliches Bett vorhanden. Für ein Zustellbett sollten wir dann noch 1.000 Baht extra bezahlen, was ich als unverschämt empfand. Das Zimmer war zudem sehr dunkel und für drei Personen viel zu eng. Die einzige Tür führte direkt auf die Terrasse, wodurch ständig Moskitos ins Zimmer gelangen konnten. Wir haben uns deshalb insgesamt sehr unwohl gefühlt.

We loved it all. The only thing I would suggest is, if you could have some gluten free bread at breakfast. But that’s just a suggestion, we will be back.

ראשית אהבנו את הנוף של הבריכת אינפנטי והחוף המהמם! הזמנו את הוילה והיא ממוקמת במקום מעולה ליד הבריכה! ממליצה לבקש את החדרים הקרובים ליד הבריכה, מדובר בנוף שמרחיב את הלב. שנית, השירות מעולה! בעלי חגג יום הולדת במהלך החופשה, קישטו לנו את המיטה, ובחדר אוכל הביאו עוגה ושרו לו. יש אפשרות לבחור ארוחת בוקר מתפריט ייעודי ("כשר"). המקום טרופי, מלא צמחייה, מי שאוהב סגנון שכזה יעוף על המקום. קרוב לבית חבד ולעוד לפחות 5 מסעדות כשרות. ממוקדם מול סופר גדול. החדרים עצמם פשוטים אבל נעימים.

קשה לווסת במקלחת בין המים החמים לקרים.

The pool is 11/10 absolutely amazing. We went with our 3 year old and she loved it. Room was spacious and modern.

That they charge you nearly an extra $100 a night for turning a couch into a bed.

לא ניקו את החדר ולא החליפו מצעים אם לא ביקשנו רק באו והחליפו פחים ומגבות במקרה הטוב, היום ימים במהלך השהות שלא ניקו בכלל! חדרים קטנים מאוד!

We had another absolutely wonderful stay at the Banana Sea Resort in Koh Samui. This was our 4th visit, and it truly feels like our second home. A special mention must go to Aoy and Rabill, who once again looked after us so amazingly during our stay in May. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made our holiday extra special. They, along with all the rest of the staff, go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and looked after. The food was absolutely delicious, with the Thai buffet being a standout. The beach BBQ was also incredible — great atmosphere, fresh food, and a beautiful setting right by the water. We keep coming back for a reason, and Banana Sea Resort never disappoints. The property itself is really inviting, clean and very tropical! The location was also really convenient- great supermarket right across the road. The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful- it made a positive impact on our stay.

Only minor thing was the bathroom fixtures were a bit run down- and the TV was quite old, with cable channels.

Excellent hotel located on Tswang in the middle, not in the noisy area. Beautiful rooms and above and beyond service. Highly recommended 💕

+ die Nähe zum Stand + das Personal war sehr freundlich und half immer, wenn etwas nicht in Ordnung war + Sauberkeit + Essen im Restaurant + Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig

- einzelne Gästegruppen, die während der Zeit dort waren, waren sehr unangebracht, laut, hielten sich nicht an die Hotelregeln. Ich finde, das Hotelpersonal hätte hier mehr durchgreifen müssen. Sie waren teilweise die ganze Nacht laut. Es waren mehrere Familien, die dort mehrere Häuser buchten. - an einem Abend hatte das Schweizerische Konsulat mit 200 Gästen im Hotel eine Veranstaltung organisiert. Wir wurden am Abend vorher informiert worden, dass wir den Strandbereich, Liegestühle und das Restaurant am Abend nicht nutzen können. Es gab auch keine Entschädigung dafür. Als wir dis beim Auschecken der Rezeption mitteilten, hatten sie sich lediglich entschuldigt.

Ho soggiornato una settimana al Banana Fan Sea Resort ed è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa. Il posto è semplicemente spettacolare: sembra davvero di essere in paradiso. Per me, durante questa settimana, è stato come una seconda casa… al punto che non volevo più andare via. Il personale è stato eccezionale: sempre accogliente, gentilissimo e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità, facendoci sentire coccolati dal primo all’ultimo giorno. La colazione è varia, abbondante e adatta a tutti i gusti. Anche il cibo del ristorante è stato davvero buono, con piatti gustosi e ben curati. Un altro grande punto di forza è la piscina, bellissima e perfetta per rilassarsi in un contesto da sogno. Consiglio questo resort senza alcun dubbio a chiunque voglia vivere Koh Samui al meglio. Un posto che ti resta nel cuore. ❤️

The pool was amazing. The swim up bar, so fun. The beach was incredible. Loved breakfast. But on top of all that, the staff was the best. The front desk team made you feel so welcome and like you were family. They were so kind and accommodating and the servers and bartenders were wonderful. I would come back again and again.

It's was fantastic experience here. The location is perfect we did a trip for around the island and also have breakfast here in the evening time they do have a menu options if you don't like buffet.

Banana fan was an incredible experience from start to finish. The ENTIRE staff went above and beyond for our stay, decorated our room for the occasion and kept up with us throughout the five days. The grounds were amazing and by far the best hotel set up we’ve seen here in koh samui. Pool was beautiful and definitely the nicest portion of the beach in chaweng. 10/10

Me and my now fiancé had the time of our lives at banana fan! From the pool, ocean access, included breakfast, happy hour and everything in between, it was all perfect. None of this could’ve been possible without the front desk staff. Wow wow wow. All the praise to them. They were so kind, so accommodating to our needs, they always went above and beyond and they made us feel so special. I would recommend banana fan to all my friends and family. I can’t wait to come back!!

The location is very close to many restaurants and shop also the massage around . The service of the hotel is great. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety options. Finally we hope to come back again thank you.

Rooms are a little smaller than normal but still great. Nothing to complain about. TV was old with few channels, would benefit from new TVs with Netflix etc.

החיסרון היחיד, בגלל הצימחייה המרובה, יש מגוון חרקים ויתושים. אך הצוות מספק חומר שמונח מחוץ לחדר ומסייע בהברחתם.

Grüne Anlage am wunderschönen Strandabschnitt in Chaweng. Wir hatten die Poolsuite mit privatem Pool und eigenem Strandzugang, was sehr bequem war. Ganz vorne, unverbauter Blick auf den schönen Strand. Das Personal war sehr nett.

Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immernoch sehr komfortabel.

This is already my 4th visit at this hotel and it was just amazing as always ! Everything is absolutely great – the facilities of the hotel, the pool, the cleanliness of the rooms, the location, the food , but most of all I would like to emphasize the warm and caring attitude of the stuff, which are always friendly, professional and helpful with a smile. They definitely give me a feeling of a home. I would like to mention especially Ms Aoy – Front office manager, which is absolutely amazing and always helpful, as well as the rest of the wonderful hotel stuff – Songkran, Mam, Bill, Yot, Tom, Tun, Pam and Didi. This visit I also did a cooking class of Thai dishes at the restaurant of the hotel, which was super interesting, fun and tasty (-: I would like to mention wonderful chef Kan, which was super nice, professional and had a lot of patience for me (-: and also Mook, which was lovely and helpful. I strongly recommend this lovely hotel and I'm already waiting for my next visit.

I have known Yut for more than 15 years, and throughout that time he has consistently been one of the most hardworking, honest, and genuinely caring people in the hotel. No matter how busy things are, he always greets guests with a warm smile and goes out of his way to help. His dedication, professionalism, and kindness have never changed over the years. Rooms need to be reformatted

המיקום - אדיר, שקט, קרוב למרכז גדול לבית חבד, מסעדות כשרות. בריכה אדירה, חוף ים שווה, יש אפשרות להשכיר הכל. וגם המלון מאפשר שירות של סאפ חינם לאורחים.

החדר עצמו קטן, מאוד לא קיבלנו עריסה לתינוק, ורק אחרי שהסבירו שאין מיטות באמצע הלילה - כשהתווכחנו, פתאום נמצא מיטה. לא מחדשים שמפו וסבון במקלחת, אין מרכך. בצאק אוט שילמנו חשבון של 1536.1 באט, והפקידה ביקשה באט נוסף עבור ה0.1.. זה הרגיש שמחפשים את האגורה ולא את השירות..

חוזרים כבר פעם שנייה למלון, הצוות מעולה, חדר אוכל וארוחת בוקר טובה!! הבריכה מושלמת! יש האפי האוור בבריכה אחד פלוס אחד על המשקאות- שווה ביותר. החוף של המלון מושלם והמלון ממוקמם מחוץ לקניון ובמרחק הליכה מהרחוב המרכזי של הצאוונג.

היינו עם תינוק וקיבלנו חדר קטן יחסית .

The staff are so welcoming , it’s very peaceful and the rooms are clean beautiful . The location is great because is walking distance to central samui mall and there are shops just across . The beach is really clean and every morning I love the view while having breakfast . The price is affordable for the quality of rooms it’s very quiet and calm definitely will come again

Da es eines der teureren Hotels ist, hat sie Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig gelassen! Das Restaurant in der Anlage ist wirklich teuer, in einigen anderen Hotels ist der Preis wie in den Restaurants!

Beautiful property in a great location at the quieter end of Chaweng Beach.

No management. Staff were hit and miss. This may be due to the fact we visited in low season. We arrived too early for check-in. Nothing was offered or suggested until we asked. Room wasn’t clean even at check-in time. Toilet bowl wasn’t flushed or clean. Not a great way to start a holiday. All throughout we had to ask for everything. No anticipation of guest needs.

My friend and I took a cooking class together with Kan, and we enjoyed it so much!! She taught us patiently and without any pressure, helping us through every step. Not only was the food we made full of colors and flavors, but we also got to eat it afterward, and they even gave us certificates! An amazing team also helped Kan — they took photos of us and were supportive and helpful throughout the whole experience.

Beach front property, with easy access to a lovely portion of beach. The hotel is also located directly across from a small shopping plaza with a supermarket and restaurants, along with food carts that open in the evening which serve amazing food for very low prices. The best pad thai we had during our stay was from the food cart in the evening, with coconut milk ice cream from another food cart!

The A/C in the rooms are a bit underpowered, especially for very warm evenings.

Initially when we arrived we were disappointed to find the room we booked through Agoda was not what was shown in the photos. The hotel staff were extremely understanding and offered a free upgrade to a deluxe garden room which we were thrilled with. The hotel itself is absolute paradise. Beautiful infinity pool right on the beach, gorgeous gardens, delicious breakfast and such lovely staff. A special mention to Songkran at the front desk for making our stay so special!

I have been banana fan sea for your class in the morning time suck the good experience in the morning on the beach with sunrise also, the hotel have breakfast in the morning. Is it good selection Choice chilling so quiet on me and then very clean water. Is it good time for our holiday?

The hotel is clean, the atmosphere is great on Chaweng Beach, the sea is beautiful. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of styles; my favorite is the banana cake. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and always smiling.

It was such a great yoga experience 🤍you can truly feel relaxed and peaceful and Breakfast was amazing!🤩

Amazing experience staying at Banana Fan. Beautiful gardens and pool/beach area. In my opinion the best beach in Koh Samui! Perfect location, close enough to the hustle and bustle but lovely and quiet of an evening. Great value for money we would definitely come again!
