Fiquei no 'Quarto Duplo Superior', o que tem o armário com escrivaninha (quarto 6) – simplesmente MARAVILHOSO. Quarto super espaçoso, cama confortável e o armário embutido perfeito. Quarto iluminado e ventilado. Super recomendo este quarto. A equipe do hotel é prestativa e sempre disposta a ajudar. A localização é perfeita, em uma das melhores ruas de Ubud, com muitos restaurantes, lojas e casas de massagem, além de um Coco Supermarket (a rede de supermercados de Bali) a poucos minutos do hotel - apenas 7 minutos andando pela rua principal, que é super gostosa e agradável de caminhar.

As cortinas do quarto poderiam ter um blackout e ir de uma ponta a outra da parede, cobrindo assim também a porta que fica entre as duas janelas. O café da manhã vinha com muitas frutas, mas às vezes não tinha pão (apenas dois ovos fritos e café); outras vezes, vinha o pão puro, sem manteiga. Poderiam melhorar um pouco mais nesse ponto. Contudo, a hospedagem ainda vale muito a pena.

The room was spacious and comfy, and the light from the balcony was a plus. Lovely simple breakfast and super kind staff.

Toiletries were a bit poor, and no bottled filtered water was provided! There was a kettle but no cup; nothing to complain about anyway!

Talvez a limpeza dos banheiros. E as toalhas podem ser melhores. Mas tenho notado que esse é um ponto geral nos hotéis em UBUD.

Camera arată exact ca in poze. Curatenia in camera se face la 2-3 zile, dar in fiecare dimineață se spala terasa. Baia este mare si apa calda in permanență. Micul dejun este format dintr-o farfurie de fructe, un sanwich dulce și ceai/cafea pe care le soliciți in momentul in care te trezești si este servit la camera pe terasa. Locatia este la 10 min pe jos de centrul Ubud si Palatul Ubud si la 30 de minute de plimbare pe jos de Pădurea maimuțelor. Vis-a-vis de cazare sunt 2 restaurante, o farmacie non stop, iar la 3 minute este un magazin.

Location is great. Property is beautiful.

They only give you one towel and the one I got smelled like, though it had been washed, like it needed to be replaced. The water from the shower gets everywhere on the restroom floor. I think it's odd that the main doors are vented. It makes the air conditioner less efficient. And the curtains give you privacy but do not block the sunlight. Every morning around 9:00 a.m. construction would begin. Incessant hammering. I know they can't control this but it was enough to make me want to leave. Give me a headache. Maybe if the doors were more solid it would help some.

部屋は広くてバルコニーもゆったりしています。田んぼの風景ではなかったがひらけてて良かった。朝食は選べないが日替わりでバルコニーまで持ってきてくれた。 掃除はきっちりしてくれて清潔だった。ロケーションはとても便利です。

スタッフの女の子がちょっと無愛想。簡単な英語も通じなかった。 夜に近くでガムランの練習をしているが音は結構大きい。バリの文化を楽しめるのは良いけど、11時位まで続くときがあった。早く寝たい人は注意。

숙소 위치도 좋고 방을 나와 바라보는 뷰도 끝내줍니다. 조식이 매번 바뀌는데 과일도 넉넉히 주면서 모든 음식이 다 맛있었어요. 무엇보다 직원분들이 너무 친절하시고 청소도 열심히 하십니다. 이곳의 정원이 아름다운 이유를 알겠더라구요. 비가 자주 오는데 매번 발코니를 스퀴지로 닦아주시고 감사했어요. 객실과 화장실도 깨끗했고 에어컨도 잘 나옵니다.

드라이기가 없지만 큰 문제는 없었어요.

Estaba muy bien ubicado, pudimos ver muchas cosas por la cercanía del alojamiento. El personal muuuuuy amable,y dispuestos a ayudar, el desayuno muy rico, estaba incluido en el precio, algo que se valora.

Lamentablemente olía mucho a humedad nuestra habitación.

I stay here often I really love it

I love staying here, and repeatedly come back whenever I am in Ubud: it is my home from home. The staff are so friendly, the views are great, the location is perfect; the breakfast is just right. They accommodate everything so well. Safe and friendly.

vraiment trop bruyant.. genre jusqu’à minuit de la musique à fond..je suis tombée en pleine ceremonie qui a duré des jours, et malheureusement le personnel etait assez absent que ce soit physiquement ou pour donner des informations notamment sur la ceremonie en question ca m’aurait permise de comprendre un peu mieux

Beautiful homestay right in the heart of Ubud. Delicious breakfast and amazing views from balcony. I was able to check out later due to a ceremony happening at the temple next door. Denasari Homestay was a comfortable, clean, and accommodating stay

We really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed — comfortable bed with strong A/C, a large wardrobe, sturdy table, and even a sink and counter that we absolutely loved. A kettle and complimentary drinks were provided, and housekeeping was done daily, keeping everything neat and fresh. The bathroom was spotless, and overall the room felt new and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive — we could already see them sweeping the garden area as early as 6 a.m. Breakfast was served from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m., and it was such a lovely start to the day. On the first morning, we had banana pancakes and fresh fruit; on the second, cinnamon French toast with fruits and our choice of juice, coffee, or tea. For the price we paid, this place is excellent value. The landscaping may be small, but it’s beautifully done — lush plants, tropical touches, and that signature Ubud vibe. While the paddy fields in front of the homestay are now replaced by wild grass, it didn’t affect our stay since we were mostly out during the day. Scooter parking is available right in front of the homestay. We originally booked this place for its quiet surroundings, but to our surprise, we arrived during a temple anniversary celebration — a beautiful Balinese religious & cultural event that happens only once every five years. The nearby temple hosted parades every evening, with gamelan music and traditional dance performances at night. It wasn’t exactly quiet, but we felt lucky to witness such a unique experience. Normally, you’d have to pay to watch these performances elsewhere, so it felt like a blessing in disguise. The gentle sound of gamelan at night was actually quite soothing to fall asleep to, especially when you're too exhausted. There are scooter rentals along the street, and a halal restaurant is just a short walk away.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The only minor issue was a slight odor when flushing the toilet, but we experienced the same thing at our hotel in Seminyak, so perhaps it’s just how the plumbing works in Bali. On our first night, a few mosquitoes got in — probably through a small gap above the door. Since the area is surrounded by greenery, it’s quite normal to have some mosquitoes around (that's part of tropical charm), so we came prepared with our own mosquito repellent. No mosquitoes managed to get in on the second night, so all was good after that. Nothing uncomfortable though — everything else was excellent. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Descato la amabilidad de los encargados. El área de entrada es muy bonita, y afrece una porche o terraza muy agradable y cómoda que le da un toque hogareño. La habitación es grande muy limpia y organizada. Lo único es el baño, no era como lo esperaba, pero para la relación calidad precio está bien. Su ubicación es un plus, cerca de todo andando.

El baño... Descuadra con el resto de las áreas. Pero como dije, para el precio por noche, no está mal.

Very very good value… best location in central Ubud and breakfast every morning. The rooms are a bit older but still very very nice. Staff are lovely.

The location is excellent and the breakfast is very tasty!

There were so many ants on the floor. And my room was never cleaned. I think you have to request for it to be cleaned. You have to ring a bell to meet any staff so it’s not the most welcoming. Also there’s building work being done on the rice terrace so the photos on booking are not up to date. The rooms downstairs are different price to upstairs. Upstairs have mosquito nets but cost more.

Right in the middle of town yet feels quaint in the tiny lane with a small padi field for view. Provides flask of water instead of single use plastic bottle! :)

Danasari Homestay is quietly tucked away down a narrow alley just off a busy Ubud street, around a 100-meter walk in. This distance makes the stay peaceful while keeping the location very central — shops and supermarkets are all within walking distance. The staff were warm and helpful, especially in assisting with luggage and driver coordination. Rooms were well-furnished with plenty of storage, a dressing table, and generous power outlets. Breakfast took around 20 minutes to prepare but was fresh and enjoyable, especially the toast and fruit. The nearby rice field views added a refreshing start to the morning.

One of the rooms had ants near the bed, which disrupted sleep. The extra bed provided came without a blanket. Soundproofing was also minimal — we could hear footsteps and suitcase wheels in the early morning. Overall, a pleasant stay with great location and service, though some attention to cleanliness and comfort details would improve the experience.

Danasari Homestay is a charming stay tucked away in one of Ubud’s lively streets. While cars can’t linger long on the busy roadside, a short walk of about 100 meters down a narrow alley leads to the property — the second homestay from the entrance. This slight distance from the main street offers a welcome sense of peace, away from the noise and bustle of Ubud’s nightlife. The location is highly strategic, with supermarkets and convenience stores just a short walk away. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, especially when coordinating with our driver during check-in to manage our luggage. I reserved two rooms; both were well-equipped with generous storage, a dressing table, and ample power outlets — thoughtful touches that enhanced our comfort. Amenities were exactly as described on the booking platform. Breakfast, though prepared upon request and requiring about 20 minutes, the toast was delicious and the fresh fruit refreshing. A morning walk revealed a lovely view of the rice paddies nearby — a serene start to the day.

One of our rooms had a noticeable ant problem near the bed, which disrupted our sleep. While not uncommon in tropical settings, it did affect the overall comfort. Sound insulation could also be improved — in the early hours, we could clearly hear footsteps and rolling suitcases passing by outside. Additionally, while we had requested an extra bed, it was provided without a blanket, which was a slight inconvenience. Overall, Danasari Homestay offers good value with a peaceful setting and caring service. A few improvements in room maintenance and soundproofing would elevate the experience even more.

Nothing A fridge would be handy, even if it was communal

This was the best place I stayed in Ubud. I stumbled upon it by chance while looking for a place with some greenery around in the central area. I was a bit taken aback by Ubud's dangerously narrow lanes & heavy traffic. Quite a contrast from the peaceful image I had. It was really difficult dragging my bags inside narrow lanes where most hotels were located & I was stuck in a lane for a few days bcos shifting bags seemed impossible. Also from reviews of other hotels it was difficult to figure if hotels were in lanes or on the road. So while walking around looking at several hotels, I spotted a cafe "Atman Nourish" facing a rice field. And on an intuition walked into a lane next to it & discovered a few hotels overlooking the Rice fields! A staff at Danasari showed me a room & it hit all the right notes. My room on the ground floor room was very well furnished & had a private sit out overlooking the fields. I later compared with other similar hotels & found this excellent value for money. Highlight here was a cute little white puppy, white bunny & white swan who kept me entertained chasing each other. The dog would come up to me sometimes when he saw me lounging. Great if you love animals. Most other rice field hotels are a little away from the centre. But this is bang in the centre & close to cafes. Will definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was a bit sweet for me with a lot of fruits. Since I don't have black tea n coffee, I had to opt for the fruit juice. And some days the breakfast mains was toast stuffed with banana filling. But they did take my request of giving me toast & eggs instead. So maybe sticking to Toast & Egg for mains is best. The bed was a bit high. It will be good to have a foot stool or a lower mattress.

Nice people at reception. Nice view over rooftops. Very good breakfast with generous fruits. Hot water. Kettle and coffee provided. Desk. Would recommend.

Odd bathroom - the shower is installed in the wrong section of the bathroom, so quite a lot of the water doesn't reach the drain and instead pools near the sink permanently. There are only cold white lights in the room, and no lamps. Aircon remote was playing up, so I asked to change the batteries, but they didn't have any spares. I think the score would be higher overall if price was a bit cheaper in line with other properties close by.

The location was perfect and quiet away from the main road. The view from the balcony is nice and serene. The stuff was nice and breakfast was served in the room.

The bedding and toilet need to be replaced as they are old and dusty. The door was not shut completely. I hope they fix these and even the price might go up a little more, I will come back again.
