Lipe Beach Resort

Vriendelijk personeel, prachtige locatie en prima kamer. Ook het bed en de badkamer zijn okay. Het resort is non-smoking, super!

De kunststof ligbedden op het strand hebben geen kussens en dat is dus geen pretje om op te moeten liggen. Jammer want dat had het verblijf helemaal af kunnen maken. Thai hebben geen moeite met het zitten/liggen op houten of betonnen banken maar wij buitenlanders, zeker als we al wat op leeftijd zijn, willen comfortabel en relaxed kunnen liggen/zitten. We hopen dat Lipe Beach resort onze aanbeveling overneemt. Dan komen we zeker terug.

Old and not properly maintained bungalows, infested by insects, breakfast time was the worst time of our mornings, at 8pm all closed, lifeless place!

Le cadre est magnifique, plage incroyable, eau cristalline, belle déco extérieur, les bungalow sont sympa. Il y a un frigo, un ventilateur et une salle de bain très élémentaire qui selon moi devrait être rafraîchi vu le prix de 75 euro la nuit

Expérience extrêmement décevante et inadmissible. J’ai payé environ €75 pour une seule nuit et j’ai malheureusement découvert que la chambre était infestée de cafards. En rentrant dans le bungalow le soir, j’ai trouvé deux énormes cafards qui couraient dans la chambre, dont un qui est sorti directement de ma valise. Il y avait également des vingtaine de bébés cafards partout sur le sol, dans le lit, et même dans mes affaires et sous-vêtements le lendemain matin. J’ai passé une nuit horrible, stressante et inconfortable, avec la sensation de devoir surveiller chaque coin de la chambre. Je me suis gratté toute la nuit en pensant que c’était des moustiques sauf que c’était les bébés cafards qui se sont promenés sur ma peau toute la nuit. Le plus choquant reste cependant l’attitude du personnel. Aucune empathie, très peu d’excuses, aucun geste commercial, aucun remboursement proposé, et ils m’ont simplement renvoyée vers Booking.com. Ils n’ont même pas proposé de prendre en charge le coût du lavage de mes vêtements alors que mes affaires étaient infestées de bébés cafards. La seule “solution” apportée que j’ai eu, que j’ai demandé moi-même, a été de venir avec un simple spray anti-insectes, ce qui ne réglera évidemment pas un problème d’infestation aussi grave. Pire encore : ils ne m’ont même pas proposé de m’aider à organiser un tuk-tuk pour quitter l’hôtel. J’ai dû porter et tirer ma valise seule pendant environ 15 minutes jusqu’à un autre hôtel sur l’île. ( pas de taxi car île minuscule ) Je n’ai jamais vu un service aussi peu professionnel et déplorable, surtout après un problème d’une telle gravité. Je comprends parfaitement que des insectes puissent exister dans les pays tropicaux, mais ici il ne s’agissait clairement pas d’un simple insecte isolé. Pour le prix payé, cette expérience est totalement inacceptable. Je ne recommande absolument pas cet établissement. Pire expérience de ma vie en Thaïlande!

Todo muy limpio, muy buena atención, prolijo, literal estás en la playa. Mi habitación era la q no tiene aire, q no lo extrañe, se puede dormir perfecto con el ventilador y tampoco tenia agua caliente, no es necesario en Tailandia, por lo menos en abril. VOLVERÍA!!!

El restaurante cierra muy temprano para un argentino, pese a que tiene buena comida no da el mejor servicio para mi gusto.

Das Hotel besticht durch seine fantastische Lage, das kristallklare Wasser und die Schnorchelmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Haustür. Das Personal ist außerdem sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück, welches einem direkt in die Villa geliefert wird, ein Traum. Insgesamt muss man den Küchenchef loben, der es versteht alle Speisen exzellent zuzubereiten und anzurichten.

Die kleine Insel Koh Lipe ist leider schon sehr touristisch und kann die Umweltbelastungen, insbesondere den Müll, nicht verkraften. Hier ist ein Umdenken der Bevölkerung und der Regierung zwingend erforderlich um diese wunderschöne Natur für die Zukunft zu sichern.

Clean, quite and privacy

Too many ‘Taxi Boats’ anchored/parked along side the nice clean-sand beaches that spoiled the spectecular views. Some of the boats ancroached and passed tru the the disgnated area for swimming while I was swimming.

Parfaite localisation, un petit coin de paradis. Endroit top pour chill et se reposer. Tout aurait pu être parfait si il y avait eu la Clim dans la chambre…

Pas de Clim dans la chambre, HORRIBLE ! Impossible de dormir.. Il y a un ventilateur mais clairement ça ne fait pas l’affaire, plus jamais vraiment… les cabanons sont comme des fours, ce qui gâche tout le charme. Enfin, nous avons été extrêmement choqué de la différence de sympathie entre certains membres du personnel. Normalement une femme, serveuse, qui était très très désagréable : aucun mots de sa bouche, elle se trompe dans les commandes et pire quand on lui dis que nous n’avons pas commandé ça elle souffle et part et ne revient plus : conclusion je n’ai jamais pu manger ce que j’avais demandé. À cause d’elle nous avons décidé de ne plus manger au restaurant de l’hôtel.

Die Bungalows am Strand sind wunderschön, vor allem der Ausblick ist traumhaft! Der Strand und das Wasser sind großartig. Man fühlt sich wie im Paradies. Die Dame von der Rezeption war superlieb und die zwei Damen von der Massage auch sehr herzlich. In ca. 10 min ist man zu Fuß in der Walking Street.

We stayed at this property for two nights (bungalow S23, ~€100/night), and while we approached the situation with patience and understanding, the overall experience was simply not acceptable — especially for a hotel in this price range. To start on a positive note: the receptionist is genuinely friendly and polite. However, she has no decision-making authority, which leads to a structural problem — every issue requires escalation to management, and unfortunately, management does not seem to have operations under control. The core issue: We were unable to sleep for two consecutive nights. On the first night, the air conditioning unit malfunctioned severely. It produced an extremely loud, vibrating noise that caused the entire bungalow to shake. Traveling with a three-year-old, this is not just inconvenient — it completely defeats the purpose of staying at a hotel. We accepted the situation the first night, assuming this was an isolated technical issue. The staff apologized and informed us it would be fixed. However, on the second night, the exact same issue occurred again. At that point, after two sleepless nights, we approached reception — only to be told that the issue would need to be addressed “the next morning.” This response, given the situation, reflects a fundamental lack of situational awareness and customer responsibility. Only after further escalation did a staff member inspect the issue late in the evening, eventually relocating us to another bungalow — a reactive solution, far too late, and operationally weak. The following morning, we requested a very reasonable gesture: a late checkout until 12 PM instead of 11 AM. This was declined. After two nights without sleep, a room change, and clear service failure, declining such a minimal request highlights a complete lack of customer orientation. In addition: • The beachfront area directly in front of the hotel is dominated by boat taxi traffic, not a relaxing environment.

Tolle Lage, schön gestaltete Anlage mit vielen kleinen liebevoll gestalteten Häuschen. Wir hatten ein Gartenblick Bungalow ohne Klimaanlage, war mit dem Ventilator absolut ausreichend. Frühstück ist okay.

Wir fanden es etwas komisch, dass das Wasser aus der Dusche einfach über einen Spalt im Boden nach draussen in die Natur abläuft.. aber das Thema Abfall und Ökologie ist leider generell ein Problem auf der Insel :(

Sehr gute Lage. Das Team ist super herzlich und hilfsbereit, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Einfache aber charmante Bungalows, die den Zweck erfüllen.

Die Bungalows (vor allem die Garden-Optionen), sind recht einfach und relativ eng aneinander gebaut. Privatsphäre wird beeinträchtigt. Man hört die Nachbarn sehr deutlich. Frühstück ist gut, könnte aber abwechslungsreicher gestaltet werden. Die Longtail Boote stören den eigentlichen Zugang zum Stand und sind lärmig.

Die Lage direkt am Sunrise Beach ist wundervoll. Habe selbigen durch zweimal umfallen aus dem Zimmer immer miterleben dürfen. Frühstück kann man sich aus der Karte aussuchen und ist voll ok für im Preis inbegriffen. Saubergemacht wurde auf Anfrage und gab täglich frisches Trinkwasser 👍🏼

Kein Föhn im Zimmer. Bad etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber war anhand der Bilder zu erwarten.

Cet hôtel est pleinement intégré dans une végétation luxuriante. Il dispose d' une plage privée certes petite mais splendide . Le personnel est absolument adorable, disponible, bienveillant et souriant . Certains des logements disposent d' une piscine privative avec une vue fabuleuse sur la mer transparente . Le restaurant propose une cuisine locale excellente. .

Price/value is out of normal... Totally overpriced. The whole vibe there is more like a all Incl holiday resort. Places like this one destroys for what Koh Lipe got famous for. Rooms are poorly equipped, matrass was good though. If you don't book the highest room category, you'll be e ding up in the backyards (garden) with no view. Garden cleaning starts early morning at 7am. So, forget to get rest and sleep long. Small maintenance works and use of loud tools being carried out directly in the restaurant, whilst it's full. No idea to saw the wood elsewhere. Breakfast till 10:30. We showed up 10:00, served ourselves with coffee, juices etc... And waited for the waitress (menu). She didn't come to our table. 5 to 10:30 we asked for the menu, and the answer was: sorry kitchen close now. Overall.... Not good. Would never mind coming back. But not only to this place but to whole island of Koh Lipe. Same bullshit as on Koh Phi Phi. Just the Burger King is missing. Same kind of crowd.

Top Lage,man kann aus dem Bett direkt ins Meer springen ,das Hotel liegt auf der ruhigeren Seite und man ist fußläufig in ca 7 Minuten in der City.

Tolle Lage, vorallem die Bungalows an der Front. Die Bungalows sind mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet, die alle Anforderungen für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt auf Koh Lipe abdecken.

Leider zu viele Long-Boote, welche ein bisschen den Charme des schönen Strandes nehmen. Nicht zu Letzt auch der verursachte Lärm. Frühstück ist zwar gut, könnte aber abwechslungsreicher gestaltet werden.

The facilities - if we had paid much less, I would have been ok with the room… but for what we paid it was nowhere near worth it. Our room was full of mosquitos - especially the bathroom. We’ve stayed in places before in Thailand with mosquitos but generally they at a minimum provide some solutions like mosquito spray or some options for staff to come kill them. None of that was provided. However the main issue we had with this place was the service. Most requests were met with “No”. And not even a nice no, a rude - we’re annoyed with you asking No. There is absolutely no flexibility with anything. Like if you want an extra egg with your free breakfast they will charge you. Also the breakfast was not good. One morning after breakfast we were talking and laughing and a staff member came over and told us to be quiet. There were literally no guests around except 2 people checking in. I would not stay here again.

Super Strand Laage. Wir hatten ein Bungalow direkt am Wasser. Die Bungalows sind alle aus Holz gebaut und charmant.

Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig. Wenn man dort vier Nächte bleibt, ist mehr oder weniger die Auswahl begrenzt, da man eigentlich jeden Morgen zwischen den gleichen Sachen auswählen kann.. Auch über richtigen Joghurt hätte ich mich gefreut.

La vue depuis la villa était tout simplement splendide. Le personnel était très attentionné et la villa magnifique ! Très belle parenthèse romantique. C’était parfait !
