The absolutely amazing view from the balcony overlooking Rethymno harbour. Location was so central, the apartment was fitted out with everything you needed for our 4 night stay. The manager Nick was so helpful and responded quickly on any request. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Location

The location is quite good — close to the city center and within easy walking distance of restaurants. However, the room was disappointing. The room shown in the photos with a port view actually faced a back road. The room itself felt quite tired and worn, with many visible signs of age and poor maintenance. The bathroom was particularly unpleasant and in need of renovation. I have read that the staff are friendly, although I personally did not really have any interaction with them. Overall, the experience was very average. Considering the price, I would not choose to stay here again, as the quality simply did not match what I expected for the money.

Location is good. That's about it.

Only one key and it needs to be inserted into a holder to turn on the power in the unit. If you leave the unit, you lose power inside of it. This includes the AC unit. There are also magnets on the door to balcony that cut off the AC unit so you can't use the balcony and still run the AC in the unit. My wife and I split up at times or one of us would run an errand and we had to juggle the one key to make sure we could get into the apartment. Absolute disaster. I asked the host for a second key card but they did not respond to any messages during our visit. Check in was also a mess. No instructions were ever provided. The booking says there is a mini market associated with the rental and they will arrange the check in. We asked every single store on the street and no one was associated with the rental. We ended up calling the number on the booking.com website and whoever answered was more concerned with how we got their number instead of assisting with check in. The rental is also run down. The bathroom vanity is pulling off the wall. There is no drain stop in bathroom the sink. The shower head doesn't work so you need to us the hand held wand only. There is also a window right next to the bed with no shade so it's super bright. The curtains in the living space are also not blackout curtains. I would not recommend this rental to anyone and would never personally stay there again.

Όλα ήταν πολύ καθαρά! Ήταν σε πολύ κεντρικό σημείο, αλλά πάρα πολύ ήσυχα! Άνετος χώρος με κλιματισμό το διαμέρισμα, με όμορφο, μεγάλο μπαλκόνι εξωτερικά με θέα στην πόλη. Η τιμή ήταν λογική για την τοποθεσία, τις παροχές και την υψηλή τουριστική περίοδο. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήρθε άμεσα για το check in, ευγενικός κι εξυπηρετικός! Ήταν μια ευχάριστη εμπειρία η διαμονή μας! Σίγουρα θα επιστρέψουμε. Ευχαριστούμε!

Very central location next to the old harbor, very well-equipped kitchen, large terrace to eat outside, friendly host with free drinks at arrival, daily cleaning provided

Despite the good location, there are very loud drunk people at the gyros place across the street every night until 5 am, which makes it hard to sleep.

Die Unterkunft liegt toll mit Blick auf den venezianischen Hafen und die Betten waren sehr komfortabel.

Leider funktionierte im unteren Bad die Regendusche nicht, anscheinend war der Duschkopf total verkalkt. Im oberen Bad funktionierte sie, aber danach stand im Bad alles unter Wasser. Die Tauben sind im Hafen wirklich ein großes Problem, man könnte den Balkon noch schöner nutzen, wenn vielleicht eine Markise drüber wäre. Trotz dieser Kleinigkeiten würden wir wieder buchen.

Location of the apartments were perfect. The layout was well done and the view spectacular. Nick Helped with an early check in and made good restaurant recommendations.

Hairdryer didn’t work and could do with some dish towels for washing up. But these are minor compared to everything else. Thanks Nick and team for a wonderful experience in Rethymno

En fantastisk lägenhet med allt man kan önska sig. Stort tack till Nick som rekommenderade oss två restauranger. Den suveräna fiske-restaurangen ”Zefyros” blev vår favorit och där var vi flera gånger under vårt uppehåll . Låg nedanför vår lägenhet och den enda med blå markiser i den ”gamla hamnen”. Vi gjorde ett antal turer med hyrbilen och det var enkelt med parkering vid hamnen ett par minuter från boendet. Den långa strandpromenaden inbjöd till sköna kvällspromenader och ett glas vin innan kvällsmålet. Rethymnon har mycket att erbjuda restauranger, barer, supermarket nära boendet och flera badstränder. Det gamla fortet som ligger nära är ett besök värt med utsikten åt alla håll och utställningar. Rengöringen var super med mycket trevlig personal. Den sena ankomsten orsakad av problem på flygplatsen löste Nick perfekt vid ankomst, tack för detta. Vi ser fram emot att återkomma till Porto Enetiko Suites.

The location was superb. Once you got into the building via the street and made it up to the Suite, it was beautiful. Lovely furnishings. Well equipped kitchen for what we needed it for over 2 nights. 2 bathrooms, a really comfortable bed and lovely crisp linen. The view from the balcony was to die for. We were above the Restaurants in the old Port. Not too noisy at all. Air con was a must, as it was quite warm outside. The cleaner changed our bedding after just one night, which was very much appreciated. Tea and coffee was complimentary. Over all, a relaxing stay in the beautiful old Port. The surrounding area was lovely, with some really nice quality gift shops and lovely restaurants . If we stayed again, we would bring less luggage to get up the stairs.

The apartment could not have been in a better location it was beautiful and in the nicest part of town. The view from the balcony is postcard worthy. The apartment was lovely and clean and was cleaned everyday.

The kitchen is nice but if you actually wanted to cook it was a bit short on utensils, didn’t bother us as we didn’t cook but we would have like a dishcloth and tea towel. There is a dishwasher but we didn’t create enough washing up to use it The upstairs bathroom it nice but the floor gets quite wet when you have a shower. These are just little niggles as the apartment is lovely.

Loved our Stay. Very comfortable and right in the middle of the old town, which was the highlight of our European Vacation. A special thank you to Nick who allowed us to store our luggage until the unit was ready. First class operation!

Spacious room and great location.

Check-in was a little complicated

This place is in a beautiful location and has lovely decor inside. We enjoyed the neighbourhood and also prepared a meal to eat on the amazing deck. The bathtub was also nice and we had a very comfortable quiet sleep.

The listing notes a stocked kitchen and wash machine, yet I felt it came up short. It was missing some key supplies and gadgets. It had basics, so a challenge for meal prep. (could use sharp knife, bowls, flippers, laundry soap, kitchen clothes, pot scrubbers… etc. ) I mention this as we travelled a month and most other bookings with kitchens had those items & more making meal prep & laundry easier. I did appreciate the very large fridge & freezer. That was a bonus! Also really loved the home layout and the wonderful views.

The hotel is located in the historic center of the town, very close to the harbor, with bars and restaurants. You can find a parking very close for the price of 17€ per day, in April. The bed was very comfortable.

As per the rest, we did not have a good experience at all! Despite mentionning our arrival time to the host, we waited for him for over 30 minutes in the evening in order to pay for our stay. And we are still waiting for our change back.... When we booked, we though we would have a room with sea view, which was not the case. The description is made in a very confusing way, the pictures look much better than what it actually is, but this is still ok. You have a terrace, outside the appartement, which is not really private as it not closed and just next to the building's entrance corridor, so no privacy. Also be aware that you will need to take big stairs in order to access the rooms! Our biggest disapointement was the apartment itself, everything is very old inside, outdated bathroom, nothing is really maintened. After mentionning our surprise, the host told us it was the "economical" apartment, but it really doesn't worth the money, even for the location. We were visiting in April, which is still a quiet time, but we could hear people screaming in the street one night. As we were traveling for work, we also required to have in invoice for the stay. We only managed to get it 2 weeks later, after texting multiple times and heavily insisting. You have so many options in Rethymno, find yourself something really nice for that price!

Huoneistossa ruoan valmistus mahdollisuus mutta astioita siihen ei ollut esimerkiksi paistin lasta puuttui kun paistoi aamiaismunia , samoin viinilasit olivat eriparia. Majoituspaikka mainostaa laadulla voisi nämä asiat laittaa kuntoon

Hay muchos insectos, de los llamados pececillos de plata. Y por otro lado acababan de pintar la barandilla del balcón y no estaba indicado. Nos ensucio la ropa al apoyarnos.

Perfect location, owner is very nice

Wonderful location, nice apartment with a breathtaking view to the Old Port, very cosy! The host is very helpful and lovely, check-in and check-out very easy, good communication! Thanks a lot for the wonderful stay!

Just a little hint, but not a big problem: it would be great to offer a little coffee for the coffee-machine for the first morning. But there are shops nearby!

Η θέα είναι καταπληκτική από όλους τους χώρους του διαμερίσματος. Είναι ακριβώς στο κέντρο της πόλης κι όλα είναι στα πόδια σου.

Έχει σκάλες για όποιον δεν το γνωρίζει, εμάς δεν μας πείραξε αυτό. Το πάρκινγκ (εκτός) χρεώνεται γύρω στα 15€ τη μέρα.

Was a bit of a battle to get access when we arrived late at night. (+-11pm) Eventually a helpful bar owner nearby helped us by phoning the property manager. It was a misunderstanding as the door codes were emailed to us on the day of our travel, but we didn't have any internet available when we travelled, so didn't get the message. Some constructive criticism, rather send the door access codes 2 days prior, because internet availability is difficult while traveling.

Missään ei ollut mainittu että hotelli ei käy liikuntarajoitteisille. Pyyhkeiden ja roskisten tyhjentäminen olisi pitänyt tapahtua useammin. Parvekkeen putsausta ei tehty ja se oli täynnä pulujen ulostetta.

We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the overhead shower head in the downstairs shower- might be broken?

Il s’agissait d un appartement ! J’avais réservé une chambre d’hôtel pourtant ! Je n’ai pas du tout apprécié être seule ! Le LIT n’était pas fait un arrivant ! J’ai dû trouver draps couverture … Le confort était très minimal. De plus, je n’ai eu aucune explication concernant l’appartement. Je n’ai revu personne avant mon départ !! Le canapé pas bien propre. Les linges de bain de très mauvaise qualité dont un était sale ! J’ai fait une photo ! J’ai du acheter mon café du matin ce n’est pas grave en soi mais lorsque vous vous réveillez vers 7 h 30 le matin et que vous constater que les bars sont ouverts pas avant 8:30 - 9 heures.. cela fait long à attendre… En un mot suis déçue et mécontente d’avoir fait confiance a BOOKING

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, sozusagen die „Pole Position“ am alten venezianischen Hafen von Rethymno, mit herrlichem Blick über den Hafen und zum alten Leuchtturm.

Die Ausstattung der Küche war sehr sparsam, beispielsweise gab es nur 2 Kaffeetassen.

Die vielen Mäuse, die die ganze Nacht hinter der Wand hin- und hergerannt sind. Ich konnte kaum schlafen… Und die verengten Wasserrohre, die nur nach sehr langer Zeit (Wasser laufen lassen) warmes Wasser bis zur Dusche lieferten…

Très bon accueil, super emplacement , un parking à deux pas à prix raisonnable. Petite terrasse avec une belle vue sur le port . Appartement impeccable et très bien restauré. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet endroit!

Tesis çok temiz, içinde tüm ihtiyaçlarınızı karşılayacak her şey var. Günlük temizlik yapılıyor, şehrin en güzel yerinde. Her yere yürüyüş mesafesinde. Hemen yakınında güzel restoranlar var. Tekrar gelsem yine aynı yerde kalırım. Ev sahibi Nick çok yardımsever ve misafirperver. Arıza yapan kiralık arabamızın yenisi ile değiştirilmesini sağladı. Bu vesileyle kendisine tekrar teşekkür ediyorum.

I've stayed in Rethymno multiple times and I was very impressed with this property. They did a great job with the rooms, which have pretty much anything you could need during your stay. The location is excellent, right in the old town with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and parking. The views over the marina are also great. Finally, Nektarios was a great host, meeting us at the property for check-in, helping us to carry baggage up the stairs, and making sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing. We loved everything about our rooms. I would just point out that you must climb stairs to access the rooms and there are also stairs inside each room to access the sleeping area.

Our stay at Porto Enetiko Suites was truly wonderful. The view of the harbor is absolutely stunning, and the little loft is beautifully designed with attention to every detail. Having two bathrooms was an incredible convenience, especially for a short stay. The host, Nektarios, was extremely kind and helpful — he explained everything clearly and even recommended some great restaurants. Rethymno itself is a beautiful city, full of charm, and this accommodation is a perfect base to discover it. Highly recommended!

De werkelijkheid overtrof onze verwachtingen! Die was namelijk nog mooier dan de foto van het balkon met uitzicht op de oude Haven. De accommodatie beviel ons dusdanig dat we alle excursies geskipt hebben om zoveel mogelijk van het appartement en het uitzicht te kunnen genieten. Een wandelingetje naar het strand, een duik in zee, genieten van een boek en natuurlijk van het heerlijke eten in een van de talloze pittoreske restaurantjes en dan met een glas wijn op het balkon nagenieten van de mooie dag.

Location, close to everything we need such as restaurants, shops, bus, taxis and close to the port to catch the ferry was within walking distance. Had air conditioning and most importantly washing machine and a place to dry them.

Stairs at entrance to go up / down - therefore you must be able to carry your luggage down when leaving. Overall everything was all good.

The location was excellent, right in the Old Town, but better soundproofing is needed, as it was quite difficult to sleep.

The kitchen was missing a lot of essential utensils for cooking. There was only one small towel in the kitchen for four days and no one replaced it. No cleaning was done, only the towels were changed.

L'emplacement était parfait, le port a proximité, les cafés, vous etes au centre ville c'est merveilleux et c'est calme. Ne parlons pas de la vue incroyable.

Il y avait un probleme de climatisation (avec 38°C dehors) et l'hote le savait, il y avait un souci avec le frigidaire et l'hote le savait ! lorsqu'on sait tout cela on prévient le guest ou on trouve des solutions. La climatisation a fonctionné lorsqu'elle voulait et ce n'était pas agréable, dommage car sans cela, le séjour aurait été parfait. Attention aussi aux problèmes d'écoulement dans la salle de bain, c'est mal construit, il faudrait ajouté une petite barre au sol pour ne pas innonder la chambre.

En plein centre des ruelles touristiques. Très bruyant mal isolé impossible de fermer l’œil de la nuit . Utilisation des boules quies indispensables bruit toutes les nuits .

Location was excellent. Seeing that we had no car rental, walking out of the Spartans being in the old town, was amazing.

The AC didn’t work to its full capacity but still was ok.

Top Lage mit wunderbaren Blick auf den Hafen und den Leuchturm von Rethymno vom Balkon aus. Die unterkunft war sehr sauber und wird in regelmäßigen Abständen gereinigt. Ausreichend Platz mit zwei Badezimmern. Alles um die Ecke was man braucht; Supermarkt, Bars, Cafés und eine Vielzahl an Restaurants. Nick war sehr freundlich und hat uns Tips zur Umgebung gegeben. Wir sind aufgrund von Flugänderungen früher angekommen als geplant, die nachricht ist zuerst wohl untergegangen aber als wir da waren wurde sich bemüht das Zimmer bereits freigeben lassen zu können. Klare buchungsempfehlung, wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit
