Reviewed Sep 16, 2026Quick check in, the lady gave us a quick map of the location, also gave us some insight on the building we stayed in. It was very clean, everything we needed was there , all cooking utensils. TV had english speaking channels, close to the beach and the strip.
no parking as we rented a car. And no hair dryer or iron.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026Die nähe zum Strand war optimal. Auch zum einkaufen und zu den Restaurants brauchte man nicht weit zu laufen.
Die Unterkunft war allerdings nicht klimatisiert und man bekam die Wärme nicht raus. Die Einrichtung meiner Meinung nach primitiv. Sehr alt alles. Nachts bei offenem Fenster laut, durch vorbeifahrende Autos. Um 24 Uhr kommt die Müllabfuhr und um 4 Uhr in der Nacht ziehen die Partygäste der umliegenden Hotels lautstark ( denn sie sind ja alleine auf der Welt) am Appartement vorbei.

O alojamento é muito quente e não tem ar condicionado. Tinha 2 ventiladores mas são insuficientes . A casa tem muito potencial mas precisa de ser renovado . Há algum barulho por parte da vizinhança de noite . Existe uma moradia ao lado que tem piscina e os ocupantes eram ingleses, chegavam a casa às 3:30 da noite e continuavam a festa na piscina com música e muito barulho.so ficamos 2 noites, na segunda noite chamei a atenção mas não quiseram saber.

La limpieza es pesima, la cama es incomodidima, el sofá es muy rustico , porque es un colchon encima de escayola. Y los utensilios de cocina. El olor a cerrado tiraba para atrás.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Super Lage direkt am Wasser, oben toller Ausblick, sehr nette Frau an der Rezeption mit tollen Hinweisen und Empfehlungen (sie war sehr umsichtig und hat uns z.B. vor KO-Tropfen auf dem Strip gewarnt), Wohnung war groß und super zum entspannen, mit Balkon und viel Charme, abends auch nicht weit weg von Strip zum Feiern
Nicht allzu sauber und Möbel schon ziemlich abgenutzt, aber nix gravierendes, wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, die Frau an der Rezeption war etwas verplant und ist erstmal mit uns in eine Wohnung reinspaziert, die bereits belegt war, bis ich bemerkt hatte, dass da Gegenstände drin liegen :)

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Prime location to everything Beautiful period traditional. Peaceful at night. The receptionist lady was very welcoming helped with a local map of the area and was very friendly i would definitely recommend it and go back 4 minutes to a beautiful beach
I went with friends that stayed in an all-inclusive five-star who paid three times more. But that was my own personal choice personally for myself I would go for an all-inclusive hotel with swimming pool and gym facilities that I can't complain of fault this accommodation 1 bit

A little noisy early hours as you have all the party goers on route to their hotels! It wouldnt put me off going again! Over we where very happy.

Upon arrival being 15 minutes early, as the reception is only open on limited time slots, I was not greeted how I expected but to be greeted by the lady with a fag in her mouth pointing at the opening times stating I'm too early and you have not followed instructions... when I attempted to explain as we had trouble finding a vacant parking space so we gave ourselves more time, she then ignored me and my partner and started speaking to some locals, while I was was patiently waiting I noticed broken outside chairs/furniture and full up ashtrays and a general unwelcome appearance. I then asked to view my room before I committed as now I was suspicious and the lady got rather angry and I felt this was turning into a conflict into the street so we walked away, she quickly got onto booking.com and said I was a no show and lost all my money. In my opinion this has happened before despite the other positive reviews when I spoke to some locals.

The blankets provided were of poor quality and were scratchy, so it wasn't very comfortable to sleep at night. The stairs to climb up to the bedroom were very steep too so we had to be careful while going up and down.

Consigliatissimo per chi vuole visitare albufeira,stare due minuti a piedi dal mare mentre per la vita notturna con 10 minuti a piedi arrivi ai locali. 10/10

Het appartement stamt uit de jaren 70 en dat zie je. Wij houden van de sfeer, veel liever zo dan strak, clean met tl verlichting! De lamp en de douchestang waren echt aan vervanging toe (verroest) maar de waterdruk is fantastisch; heerlijk gedouched!!

Had everything we needed for the 2 night stay. 5 minute walk to the strip and 30 minute walk to old town. 1 minute to the beach. Would stay here over the huge impersonal hotels.
Need to be able to get up and down the stairs to bed. But as it’s typical old Portuguese then can’t be updated.

Reviewed Jan 15, 2026This apartment was perfect. It’s a cozy, traditional space right next to a beautiful beach! The host was amazing and took the time to show us around the property while telling us about the history. The apartment could not have been in a better location. It was a short walk to a supermarket and the main strip, and there was also a spacious parking lot just around the corner (a HUGE plus in any European city lol)! We would definitely stay here again!
Nothing about the property! A side note, the Oura Beach could be incredibly crowded and loud. It seemed like a big party area. But if you walk 5-10 minutes down the coast, you come across nearly empty beaches with beautiful scenery!!

The apartments are not brand new, so if this is something that bothers you then look elsewhere. In my opinion you are paying for clean, well-managed apartment in an excellent location, not for anything super fancy.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025Die Wohnung versprüht durch den rustikalen und originalen Stil einen einzigartigen Charme. Für zwei Personen bietet sie ausreichend Platz um zu kochen oder schöne Abende auf dem Balkon zu verbringen! Das Doppelbett hatte eine hervorragende Matratze und die Dicke der Decken war genau an die Jahreszeit angepasst. Empfangen wurden wir bei der Ankunft von einer sehr netten Dame, die uns gleich eine kleine Karte und ein paar Empfehlungen mitgegeben hat. Alles in allem haben wir uns die zwei Woche wie zu Hause gefühlt und konnten mit nur wenigen Schritten die Tage und auch Abende am Meer verbringen! Vorteilhaft war ebenso, dass in der Straße sowie in den umliegenden einige kostenlose Parkplätze zu finden sind. Sollte hier einmal nichts frei sein oder für das Auto lieber ein schattiger Parkplatz bevorzugt wird, gibt es gleich nebenan einen großen, kostenlosen Parkplatz mit Schranke der 24 Stunden geöffnet ist.
Da die Unterkunft sehr nahe gelegen an dem Strip („Party-Meile“) und auch einem Hotel ist, gab es die ein oder andere etwas lautere Nacht in der man von Musik oder Menschen geweckt wurde. Für uns war das jedoch meistens kein Problem. Wenn man jedoch dabei empfindlicher ist, sollte der Besuch im Azul Mar nicht in der Party-Hochsaison stattfinden.

Two bedroom apartment was not as advertised (4 twin beds instead of a double and 2 twins). It was dingy and had a very strong sewage odor in the bathroom. Was warned at check-in the area was unsafe after dark. Watch your drinks and dont walk alone.

Stairs up to apartment were easy to manage as all our party were fairly mobile but wouldn’t recommend for anyone with a mobility issue. On that side the manager did offer a ground floor apartment if we needed.
Was rather noisy between 8 and 11pm with surrounding hotels having outdoor activities. While that’s in no way a criticism of apartment staff it’s something to bear in mind
