It was situated in an area, quite close to a very good Shopping Mall and another shopping area. Guests loved the Breakfast.

Comfortable and exactly what we needed after travelling for work. Location was perfect and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was an added comfort and a nice selection.

Liked it all, very accommodating. Maybe an electric blanket but you have very comfortable extra blankets which was lovely.

Friendly staff that made you feel welcome. Room was lovely and everything was clean and tidy. Easy access to different places.

Location is good, breakfast was good,

Maintenance was very poor. 1st room had no water pressure in the shower, and the bath plug was broken so could not wash properly. Coffee capsules were used and only one rusk for two people. After much pleading we were moved to a second room where at least the shower worked but there were still old and damp towels, and the toilet plumbing leaked, so you had to turn the inflow pipe off to stop the constant flow of water into the bowl. Shower shelves for soap were broken. so, soap and shampoo were left on the floor.

Staff (Zodwa) was obliging and friendly, and breakfast was fine.

Grubby and tatty. Very stained carpet and musty room. Stained bedlinen complete with holes (in the pillow cases) . My room also contained a single, discoloured threadbare and frayed towel that I would be reluctant to dry my dog with - receptionist changed it on request. Bathroom light non-functional. A general air of neglect, including torn awning at the pool. I would certainly not stay at this substandard, dirty B&B ever again.

Our room did not have water I had to go shower in another room downstairs which was disappointing yet the staff kept telling us that they do not clean rooms after 12 whereas we were struggling to even shower a friend of mine went on to shower at our other friends accommodation which was very disappointing..

No shower pressure - cannot stay in a place where you cant have a decent shower. Bedroom fan covered on dust - not enough attention to detail when cleaning. No management available to express any of these issues to.

It’s not really a don’t like but more of a suggestion that should at least get a generator for incase there’s power outage, bathing with Luke water in the morning or not being to charge our phones was a bit of a turn off. The solar panels only worked on the lights only.

Our shower is covered in mildew. The windows in the room cannot open or close properly. The wall-to-wall carpet in the public areas is dirty and worn. It is in dire need of replacement.

Good location as it’s right beside a lovely restaurant and a good cafe. Great value for money if you’re not looking for 4 star facilities. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive.

The entrance is very nice and brings a calm and relaxed vibe by the pool. Place is clean. Room had a nice kitchen area well equipped with a small lounge. Spacious bathroom. Great value for money plus breakfast included. Enjoyed the bar area by the pool. I really enioyed this place and would definitely come back.

All good, enjoyed the breakfast and location was good, stayed there in February last year, in April last year for my brother's funeral and now for my Aunt's 90th birthday.

in the room that I stayed in, the outside lights on the patio were on, and the shone through the side of the blind on the door into the room. The next nights, they were off, so no problem. Perhaps the blinds could be made slightly wider if anyone else mentions that

I did not eat breakfast because I had a tight work schedule. The lodge is situated in a quiet place, I slept well and, worked woke up in the early hours to start working. The place is also close to a shopping centre. The members of staff were polite and helpful.

At some point, I heard rats running in the ceiling, but it was brief.

Lovely place to stay, Stayed there before, and would highly recommend Lodge on Main to anyone looking for accommodation

The overall layouts and the rooms are just perfect to overnight, close by sushi place the best I've had in a long time good atmosphere all round and the lady's that work there is super sweet thanks girls it was such an amazing stay keep up the good work.

One electrical socket was a bit funny, have reported it to the front desk and she assured me they will take care of it.

Room wasn't cleaned even though we had to wait another 40 mins for it to be ready as we arrived 30 mins prior to the check in time. There were crumbs on the chair and floor from the previous guest. Drains were blocked in the basin and shower. There was a sign stating that one must save water, yet the basin was missing the rubber around the plug so it didn't hold water. Towels are old and are bordering rags, and they had a dirty and damp smell when they get wet from drying one's self. The extractor was caked in dust and hadn't been cleaned since it was installed.

Very central location, close to shops, restaurants and other facilities. Despite being on Main Road you couldn't hear the traffic. It is a quiet garden setting, with comfortable and beautiful rooms. I love all the tree themed art work.

The breakfast was phenominal, I enjoyed the view of the swimming pool as well.

The atmosphere at the hotel was great from the moment you walk in. The staff were really helpful, storing my bags before my check-in and when I ordered a takeaway without having a SA mobile phone. The room was delightful, with a separate kitchen/living room. The staff had even stocked it with fresh milk in the fridge, showing care and attention. The whole hotel has its origins as a Victorian building, with rooms set around a pretty courtyard with seating. The breakfast was lovely.

The location felt safe, but not particularly near restaurants. However there is parking, so this hotel would work well if you have a car.

Satellite television or at least assistance on how to streamline with my dstv. They owner did not assist me as he didn’t have any one to do it hence I ended up watching soccer outside somewhere with friends. Learnt after booking that arriving after 21h00 adds charges as staff does not stay at the property. What if something happens and you need help urgently!

La chambre etait propre.

La femme de l'accueil etait particulièrement désagréable et pas aidante. Impossible de fermer la fenêtre de la salle de bain donc il faisait froid. Le bouchon de la baignoire ne fonctionnait pas donc pas possible de prendre un bain.
