Reviewed Sep 6, 2026L’établissement est au top, le personnel serviable et l’ambiance est familiale. Nous avons passer une semaine dans le Riad, il est littéralement situé à 2 min à pied de la place jama El fna.
En revanche le vitrage est fin donc les chambres sont vraiment pas insonorisé, sinon top !

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La struttura è bella e accogliente. Abdul ci ha accolto con il sorriso fin dal primo momento. La posizione è comoda perché è a due passi dalla Medina, ma in una zona non troppo rumorosa. Tutte le mattine ci veniva servita una colazione tipica preparata al momento.

Due to transportation issues, we didn't arrive until around 2:00 a.m., yet we were welcomed so warmly and kindly despite the late hour, which meant a lot to us. The riad is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and authentic, the location is perfect for exploring the Medina, and the breakfast was deliciousss. The hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable.

Reviewed May 6, 2026La ubicación es muy buena. Está al lado de la plaza principal y cerca de la salida de la medida para poder llegar en coche o coger taxi cuando sea necesario. El desayuno es maravilloso y el trato del staff buenisimo. Sara nos ayudó con el taxi desde el Aeropuerto y abdul nos hizo sentirnos como en casa.

La camera era una cosa disgustosa piccola e che cadeva a pezzi , non corrisponde per niente alle foto su booking.com . Era una catapecchia abbellita ; da ristrutturare completamente pavimento e mura da imbiancare come il bagno. La camera era bruttissima e la porta era tutta rotta non si chiudeva bene . Mi dispiace ma non consiglio questo posto a nessuno . Ci hanno dato forse la camera economy che non è presentabile agli ospiti. Il mio ragazzo ha soggiornato due giorni e poi se ne andato ; mi ha detto che non ci poteva stare piu giorni.

De badkamer rook naar riool. In de ochtend heeft eerst de familie ontbijt voor de gasten, je bent dan ook meteen wakker door het harde gepraat. Wij zaten beneden dus uitslapen was er niet bij.

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026La posizione è ottima, vicino alla piazza principale , pochi minuti a piedi. Abdul è sempre stato molto disponibile e gentile. Il riad è essenziale ma carino. Ci sono tute le cose che possono occorrere in camera. La colazione è abbondante anche se manca un po il salato e la cioccolata eheh.. c erano vari tipi di crepes, ciambellone e marmellate. Qualità prezzo giusta secondo me.
Inizialmente abbiamo avuto un problema col transfer perche è venuto un ora dopo l orario stabilito, ma per farsi perdonare il ritorno non ce l hanno fatto pagare nonostante fosse alle 3 del mattino. Unico problema che abbiamo avuto nel riad è stata l assenza di acqua calda una sera ma ci stato detto essere un problema di tutta la zona.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026Riad molto bello, piccolo ma accogliente. Camere in linea con altri riad dello stesso tipo. Letti comodi e camera pulita. Posizione molto comoda perché al centro, ma vicino ad un punto raggiungibile con il taxi.
La camera, forse perché al piano terreno, aveva un po' di odore nel bagno. Essendo nel centro, la camera al piano terreno, ma anche al primo piano erano senza finestre che danno sull'esterno. Noi siamo stati solo per dormire, quindi non era un grosso problema.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026El Riad esta super bien. Desde la llegada que nos ayudaron pidiendo un taxi, hasta que nos fuimos fueron muy amables. Abdul estuvo en cada detalle dándonos indicaciones y consejos. Las chicas de la recepción y cocina pendientes de que no nos faltara nada. Estas a unos minutos a pie de la plaza central. En una zona tranquila. El baño tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar y la cama es muy cómoda. Disfrutamos mucho de la terraza de arriba, que es muy cómoda y bonita. Sin duda volvería y lo recomendaré. Muchas gracias!

The breakfasts provided by the property were terrible. Orange squash instead of fresh orange but worst of all was day old pancakes and breads heated up in the microwave which were stale, tough and inedible. Also, my wife and I visited for 5 days and in all that time the beds were never made up or the room even tidied.

Reviewed Mar 8, 2026Excellent location, close to the palaces and medina centre. Personell was very helpfull and nice. Breakfast is classic moroccan (tea, coffee, moroccan bread and pancakes, jams, honey).
When in lower floors, you can experience a sewage smell, but that is almost everywhere. Rather loud noises from the street. Older bathroom which could use some care.

Frühstück gab es erst ab 8 Uhr. Auf Anfrage ob wir das Frühstück früher bekommen, da die meisten Ausflüge schon früher losgingen wurde uns das verneint. Das war aber auch das einzige was negativ war.

Hay un callejón justo para entrar que es cortito pero en la noche da cosa. Salido de ese callejón la ubicación es fantástica. Se oye mucho a la gente de las habitaciones contiguas hablando. Y el desayuno empieza un pelín tarde, y si te vas de excursión temprano no tuvimos opción de picnic o algo sencillo para llevar, pero si estás en el Riad, está buenísimo!!!

They need to renovate the bathroom (although there is seems to be a general issue in Morocco) and the floor was not clean.

On sent que l’établissement est vieillissant. Chambre et salle de bain trop petites. Malgré tout nous avons eu la chance avec mes enfants d’être à l’étage, nous nous sommes senti privilégié car comme à la maison comme tout un l’étage pour nous

Reviewed Dec 30, 2025The staff at Balkisse were it's only saving grace. Abdul took excellent care of us. He answered our every question and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
We booked a King room and were given a double bed room that looked NOTHING like the pictures. We have provided pictures of the room we got when we left, just for comparison. We did confront the admin lady about this, but she was certain we had gotten what we had paid for. The room we were given was earlier vacated by a couple that complained about how small it was (so it's possible they were tricked as well).

Nos pusieron en una habitación sin ventana, la hubiésemos agradecido pero nos dijeron que era mejor para descansar sin ruido. El Riad, es bonito está bien. Super barato.
Los colchones son duros.

Kupaonica je zastarjela, te je sadržava osnovne potrepštine kao sapun, gel za tuširanje i slično.

Reviewed Dec 11, 2025Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce riad grâce à Sarah et Abdoul, qui ont été absolument formidables. Sarah, la manager, est très professionnelle, réactive et toujours à l’écoute. Abdoul est d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours souriant, avenant et très attentionné. Leur accueil a vraiment fait la différence. Le riad aurait toutefois besoin de quelques améliorations : rénovations, literie à changer et un chauffage plus efficace au rez-de-chaussée, car les matinées sont très froides. Malgré ces points, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour grâce à leur professionnalisme et leur chaleureux accueil.

Er werd niet helemaal goed begrepen wat glutenvrij is. Er was veel geluidoverlast. Personeel bij receptie met name 1 jongen was niet zo heel professioneel en de communicatie (vooral via de mail vooraf) was niet optimaal.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025C’était très beau, le personnel est vraiment incroyable et ils sont d’une amabilité exceptionnelle. C’est un plaisir de séjourner ici et d’être aussi bien accueilli. Le petit déjeuner est très bon aussi. J’y reviendrai avec plaisir.
À la limite les clients qui certains peuvent être bruyants mais j’ai envie de dire c’est le jeu et le personnel n’y est pour rien et ça reste rare.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025The location, food and rooms were excellent. The communication with the riad was easy and plentiful. They left no questions unanswered and responded very promptly. The think that really made our stay special was the staff! Sara and Abdul were so great. We interacted mainly with Abdul and he made our two families feel like we had a second home. He is smart and helpful and had excellent recommendations! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our two families Abdul. If you want to be within walking distance to all the sight and souks but don’t want to deal with noisy crowds walking past your bedroom this is the place to book.
Some of the other guests were not as considerate as they could have been.

Reviewed Oct 16, 2025La struttura in sé l’ho trovata molto caratteristica e tipicamente conforme allo stile e cultura marocchina. Il personale molto accogliente e disponibile. Sopratutto Abdul (staff) è stato pronto ad aiutarmi quando ho avuto bisogno di consigli utili per il mio viaggio.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025La posizione del Riad è eccezionale. A 5 minuti dalla piazza. Il personale gentile soprattutto le signore!! Camera sempre ben fatta, cambio asciugamani tutte le mattine. Ottima colazione
Purtroppo noi avevamo la camera a pian terreno e la nostra e unica finestra si affacciava proprio sul bancone dell' accettazione e sulla sala dove venivano fatte colazioni e cene. Quindi impossibile aprire anche un attimo la finestra. Zero privacy. C era confusione a qualsiasi ora. La colazione viene servita dalle 8 alle 10. Noi che avevamo delle escursioni programmate non siamo riusciti ad anticipare nemmeno di 10 minuti e nemmeno siamo riusciti a farci dare qualcosa da portare con noi. Sconsigliato per chi vuole alzarsi presto e fare escursioni. Anche perché la colazione viene preparata quando ti metti a sedere al tavolo, quindi se ti siedi alle 8 fino alle 8:15 non hai la colazione. ATTENZIONE nelle camere del Riad non c è il phone. Ho provato a chiederlo ma senza nessun risultato. È un problema per chi come noi è stato 6 notti. Non ci tornerei.

Reviewed Oct 3, 2025Skvělá lokalita blízko náměstí a zároveň u paláců El Badi a Bahia, celý riad čistý, personál milý, velmi ochotný.Tradiční snídaně, celý pobyt byl skvělý.
Posezení na terase by zasloužilo trochu péče.
