Das Zimmer war groß und teilweise renoviert, der Fußboden war neu, kein alter Teppichboden. Es war kalt, als ich reinkam, aber die Heizung funktionierte gut. Keine Forced Air, das finde ich gut. Fenster war zu öffnen. Das Motel liegt an einer Straße, aber nachts war es sehr ruhig. Downtown mit Restaurants ist in 4 min Autofahrt gelegen. Das Frühstück war ok, continental. Für mich als Veganerin whole grain toast mit peanut butter und jam, ist ok. Es gab auch Äpfel, Bananen und Mandarinen. Der Kaffee war auch ok.

Das Zimmer hätte schon etwas wärmer sein können, als ich ankam, aber ich bin auch eine Person, die schnell friert. Die Lampe auf dem Nachttisch war ziemlich wackelig, speziell. Hat aber letztendlich funktioniert.

The family suite was advertised as having a sofa bed. As there were 3 people in this room we booked this to allow us to each have our own bed. There was a sofa but not one that pulled out or was an option for sleeping and therefore there was no 3rd bed. The breakfast was adequate at best.

The king bed was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was very nice and food was plentiful.

When you first walk in it looks so big and beautiful. As we were in the place and using everything. I found the bathroom floor and walls.,Also the mirror were not very clean. The pull out sofa mattress was no good. Not comfortable at all. Also there was goldfish crackers in the pull out sofa when we started to open it up. So it wasnt cleaned from the last people. We did get to the establishment late at night and the office was closed. But there was no indication as to where the bed clothes were for the pull out couch. So we had to take blankets from the other beds for my daughter to be able to sleep on it. I am only saying this so that you know what things have to be worked on. In saying all that. The staff and service was A++. Very sweet woman booked us in before she went home for the night and the office closed. She left us notes to help us navigate our stay. Honestly this place is a little gem. It really is a beautiful place. Big and stylish. Thank you so much for everything. People were so kind and thoughtful! We meet the new owners and they seems marvelous. Wishing you all the best in your new venue. And wish them all the best. I would definitly come.back and stay again. I would also recommend to others!

Les lieux manquaient d'amour. Équipements vieillissants, manque de peinture sur les murs.. il était marqué vue sur la piscine mais aucune vue.

Stayed here for one night on a road trip. Our room was spacious and the bed was clean and comfortable. The rest of the room however was not particularly clean and had an unpleasant smell. We concluded that as the motel describes itself as pet friendly that we must have been given a room that allows pets and that maybe this would explain the dirty looking rug and the smell. We mentioned this at reception but we were informed that our room was definitely not a pet friendly room. Staff were pleasant but I’d say the rooms need a serious overhaul. Would not stay again.

Family suite was great. Room was clean and spacious. Pool area was lovely. Lots of seating!

Family suite had a little table but only 1 computer chair for the whole room. Would have liked to have had at least 2 or 3 chairs for us to use at the table.

What I like is the location, the bus terminal, Tims, drugstore is just across the road. And a little walk there is pizza house. We booked the family suite for 2 nights & it was so clean & very spacious. I like the mini kitchen plus the living room. I felt like we hang out a lot in the living room than resting in the bedroom. And I loved their gigantic mirror in the bedroom. We enjoyed the pool, the kids & adult loved it. Pretty much we had the pool all by ourselves.

Was hoping they are generous with bathroom tissue. However the staff was very polite that if we need anything just approach her & ask. I just didn’t bother coz we only stayed for 2 nights. They had a continental breakfast which is not bad.

Bed was broken. We were told that they were fully booked. Complained next day about the bed and the reception asked why we did not ask to be moved. Not sure where they could move us to as they were fully booked (?). Awful nights sleep. Breakfast was not real fruit juice and limited selection…

Windows were filthy.... but then I saw that they were being replaced. Still it should have been washed if being rented out. Breakfast was fantastic.

This property has been run down since last time we stayed. The bathroom was the worst. There are no towel bars and no hand rails in the shower. The toilet did not flush well.

The staff was wonderful and eager to please. They even took us to our room to make sure I couldn't smell scents, mould or bleach due to health issues

I was so pleased upon walking in the room that I forgot to check the washroom with the staff present. The washroom was very dirty. I don't even want to guess at what was caked on the door handle. Everything in the washroom was dirty except for the towels. We wondered if maintenance had been doing a last minute job there and staff forgot to go back in to clean it. They were renovating other rooms so this was logical. There were also no face cloths In the washroom so we had to use the hand towels for our showers. We arrived exactly 30 minutes after the breakfast started and the "hot" food wasn't even luke warm. Food items were set out, and the area was clean, but there were no light lights or warming stations of which the food could have been kept somewhat warm. We felt bad for any customers who might have been coming in after us. We don't like complaining, or giving poor reviews, but we had the impression these might be new owners and maybe this might help them know what else they need to look at.

They charged me a 210$ deposit because they thought I was homeless even though I expressed to them that I was trying to get home during the storm the room had no hot water i couldn’t sleep in the bed because they expressed they were uncomfortable renting to me

They were quick to accuse me of being homeless

The staff there are excellent! The customer service is perfect and helped me so much in my time of need. This place is almost like a second home!

A slightly larger door matt at the entrance to help keep the floor clean no that it's winter would be nice. It a small thing but we felt bad seeing the salt on the floor.

The bed was clean. It was the only thing in the room that was.

The breakfast was supposed to start at 7:30. When i went to the main office at 7:30 the lights were off and the doors were locked. I called the number on the door. Sounded like I woke the person up. So even though I was told there was a breakfast there was not. I wanted to tell someone that the room was not clean and smelled like cigarettes thanks to the neighbor staying next to me. The floor in the room was so dirty it turned my socks black. There were coffee drips all over the counter indicating no one had even given it a quick wipe. The bath tub still had other peoples hair in it. The stand that holds the shampoo and soap was full of dirt and to top it off there was no hand soap. There were other things like child sized pillows on the king bed, but the over all dirtiness of the room was the most disappointing.

The room was clean and quiet and breakfast was pretty well stocked considering it was free. This was a great location to start our roadtrip out to Cape Breton.

Check in is only open until 9pm - so beware if you have an evening flight. The fridge in the room was very noisy and had to be unplugged.

Other around us were up partying. Bathroom light flickered constantly like a strobe light.

Breakfast was good - boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, toast etc. Highly reccomend Fletchers Restaurant 10 mins away for dinner. Room was clean and adequate. Central location to local options.

Air conditioning / air filter in the room was very loud and rattled.

The location is close to the highway so street noise is a factor. The rooms do need an update and a refresh.

They were accommodating for a large dog.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. Very nice. Comfy bed, close to highway and dining, shopping. Would stay again.

The air conditioner was full of mold. Smelled musty turning it on before bed. Both me and my wife woke up with sore throats. Room just reeked of must and mold in the morning. Not good. Not staying there again.

There was a very strong perfume smell in my room. It was overwhelming and made it hard to breathe. I have allergies and steong scents trigger asthma issues and migraine headaches. It was awful. I would not stay here again based on this alone. Hotels need to be more aware of these issues and use unscented products for cleaning amd laundry. Whatever was used to spray this room was EXTREMELY.strong and someone used A LOT of it.

Rooms are renovated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast room is quiet and welcoming and there is all you need if you like a basic breakfast.

The room is a nice size, and the bed along with the pillows are really comfortable. The location is great, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants.

Lovely and polite staff. Room was more worn out than pictured in Expedia, which was how I based my decision. Room was clean but the smell of the cleaning products was very strong. I didn’t have breakfast nor use the Pool. For check in, I use an Amex for hotels, and they charged an additional 7% to the room charge. In the end I spent more than I had expected. If this was listed in the Expedia description, I missed it.

10 minutes walk from water and boardwalk. Quiet in the rooms. Benches outside the doors.

Older exterior style motel - outside entry to all rooms. Extremely well maintained and convenient. Appeared freshly remodelled and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The photos are deceiving as they aho the renovations from years ago. The place had not been kept up. We found a dirty rag in the room, there was dirt and hair throughout. There was mold in one of the mugs and in the shower, water damage in spots, and it smelled very musty. The pool heater was off until we asked to use it, did not heat up before the end of the night. The breakfast was ok, on the lower end of a continental breakfast.

Rooms were clean an well appointed. It was on a very busy street. We were on the back side, so noise was not too much of a problem.
