Reviewed Sep 18, 2026De locatie was prima. Een groot winkelcentrum met supermarkt op 5 minuten lopen. En voor datzelfde winkelcentrum een taxistandplaats.
Het gebouw is erg gehorig. Ik had de kamer recht tegenover de wc's en douches, welke veel herrie maakt. Ook de sloten van de deuren en de deuren van andere kamers hoor je heel erg. Ook in de nacht, wat je nachtrust niet ten goede komt. Het ontbijt was echt teleurstellend. Er was één soort brood waar er niet veel van lagen. En qua beleg was er alleen ham of kaas.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Estaba muy bien ubicado y cerca del centro, además tenía parking propio lo cual era genial.
En el patio donde se aparcaban los coches había muchas cucarachas, entiendo que en Azores hay muchos bichos por el clima pero tener eso debajo de las ventanas de las habitaciones y al lado de la puerta de entrada…. Pusimos varios días el cartel para que limpiaran la habitación y además de no limpiarla nos metían el cartel de nuevo dentro. Puedo sobrevivir unos días sin la limpieza pero es que el baño desprendía olores horribles, además de que parecía el de una cárcel, dejaba mucho que desear. Por otro lado, la habitación era bastante cutre y la almohada era horrible todos los días te levantabas con dolor de cuello. El desayuno podría mejorar bastante poniendo una simple tostadora y un poco de mermelada, para nosotros fue un incentivo que tuviera desayuno y fue decepcionante ver lo escaso que era.

Hard to find as the adress on booking wasn’t leading us for he good place, once we found it it was okay but hard to find. Breakfast was lacking.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera da 10. Ci hanno assegnato due letti differenti. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo chiesto di poter essere messi vicini, ma ci hanno risposto che la camera si sarebbe riempita quindi non era possibile. Comprensibile, se fosse stato vero, purtroppo però non é stato così. I letti non sono dotati di tende oscuranti, mancano di privacy e vieni facilmente svegliato di notte. La colazione più che essenziale, praticamente non c’era nulla. Accetto perché il prezzo era vantaggioso, ma alcuni piccoli cambiamenti potrebbero rendere il soggiorno più confortevole.

Las zonas comunes eran casi inexistentes. No hay cocina ni sitio agradable donde estar. Las duchas se atascaban. El desayuno daba simplemente vergüenza: pan, jamón y queso de mala calidad, café malo y cereales, eso todos los días.

Персонал ужасный!!! Вначале мне приходили какие то сообщения на ватсап о том, что я должна что-то заплатить, если не хочу оставаться без заказанного номера. Несколько раз писала им через booking, что оплату буду производить только через приложение. От администратора ни ответа, ни привета. За 2 дня до приезда написала, что приедем поздно и нам нужно позднее заселение. Тоже безответно. Нервничала, так как брала несколько коек на всю компанию. Пришлось им звонить и выяснять почему не прислали инструкцию позднего заселения. Мы ночевали 2 ночи, вечером часов в 32:15 пришло сообщение, что нас просят переселиться в другой номер. Мы гуляли в городе, а утром уже отъезд и пришлось срочно возвращаться. Нашему возмущению не было предела, когда вернувшись мы узнали, что номер, который нам нужно перейти занят. Остались в своем номере и всю ночь какие-то люди ходили и искали свои места и не давали выспаться!!!

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026The hostel belongs to the same chain as the other one on the island of Pico, but there is a huge difference. Although this is also an old monastery building, it is clear that there is a well-intentioned owner who pays attention to details. Of course, he cannot take responsibility for every guest either... Good accomodation for less money.
The host is not responsible, but it still ruins my experience, and it affects my opinion of the accommodation: the jerk tourist who works loudly on his computer at late night, doesn't turn off the lights, or the other one who arrives late, turns them on. The third one's alarm goes off 4 times between 5 am and 6 am, but he only gets up at 6 am, and in the end everyone wakes up because of it... You should come up with a system to keep such idiots away from the place.

Desayuno escaso, poca variedad, pan, jamo, queso, dos frutas, mantequilla, zumo y café. Además había poca variedad, no habia galletas, bizcochos, mermeladas, tomate y luego decían que no había más pan.

Si bien tenía un lugar con suficientes mesas para comer, no contaba con cocina o algo parecido en el cual poder prepararse algo de comer.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026El sitio es perfecto y la verdad los alrededores son bonitos y el alojamiento desde fuera también. Si solo es para pasar alguna noche suelta aceptable, ya que al llegar estaba limpio.
Teníamos una habitación privada con baño y no pasaban a limpiar la habitación y tampoco nos cambiaron sábanas y toallas. Dejábamos el cartel colgado en la puerta todos los días para que pudiesen pasar a limpiar y cuando llegábamos estaba todo igual. El agua de la ducha se salía toda por lo que al segundo día de ir sin que limpiase nadie era bastante desagradable estar en ese baño.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, sie haben uns auch für die Nacht ein Taxi zum Flughafen organisiert. Der Check-Out in der Nacht funktionierte auch problemlos. Man kann den Mietwagen direkt vor der Tür parken. Die Zimmer sind ordentlich, Müll wurde jeden Tag geleert.
Leider keinerlei Ausstattung im Hostel. Man kann an der Rezeption Bier kaufen, es gibt jedoch keinen Öffner. Die Batterien in unserer Fernbedienung waren leer, diese konnten nicht einmal ausgetauscht werden. Wir mussten uns eigene kaufen. Klimaanlagen scheinbar zentral gesteuert, konnten von den Mitarbeitern nicht reguliert werden. Die öffentliche Räume waren dadurch teilweise nicht nutzbar auf Grund der Kälte. Frühstück war wirklich sehr spartanisch, besser selber im Supermarkt noch etwas dazu kaufen (Achtung: es gibt keine Gemeinschaftsküche o.Ä. um etwas zu kühlen! Dadurch verliert man leider auch den üblichen Hostel Charme..)

El recepcionista ens va dir que ens podia reservar el taxi per marxar a l'aeroport. Vam confirmar-ho i s'havia equivocat d'hora però vam poder-ho solucionar a temps. Encara que, a les 6 del matí no ha arribat cap taxi. Hem acabat trucant nosaltres a la desesperació per no perdre el vol.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Das Zimmer war wirklich schön und groß und das Bett sehr bequem. Die Lage, genau neben dem botanischen Garten, war super. Das Frühstück war lecker.
Die Duschen waren leider sehr alt und das Wasser ist nicht richtig abgelaufen. Die Türen waren unheimlich laut- ohne Ohropax war schlafen nicht möglich.

Colazione con pochissima scelta e zero attenzione a intolleranze/allergie e ai vari regimi alimentari. La camera era spaziosa e pulita ma con evidenti problemi di umidità. Non c'era possibilità di preparare niente portato da fuori, neanche riscaldare l'acqua per un tè.

Las camas incomodisimas, te clavas todos y cada uno de los muelles. Las almohadas también, pero eso es más habitual en los hostels. Lo que parece un desayuno de buffet es únicamente una máquina de café, otra de zumo, pan con jamón y queso y manzanas.

Die Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch, es ist nur das Notwendigste drin. Das Frühstück ist auch nur minimal, Zuckersäfte, Cornflakes, Semmeln mit Schinken und Käse... der Kaffee ist absolut unterirdisch

Betten waren laut und haben geknarzt, Haus sehr hellhörig, renovierungsbedürftig. Die Duschen hatten schwarze Fugen, Türen waren kaputt, Waschraum schmutzig. Kein Essen für Menschen mit Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten.

Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Personal super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit, haben auch sehr gut englisch gesprochen. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön groß. Die Betten waren okay. Es ist halt eine Jugendherberge und kein 5 Sterne-Hotel, wenn man mit diese Erwartung rangeht ist alles super. Frühstück war auch anständig, mit Semmeln, Wurst, Käse, Müsli, Saft und Obst.
Im Gemeinschaftsbad gaben die Klopapierspender kein Klopapier her und die Toiletten waren leider nicht sauber, genauso die Duschen.

When I brought this to the staff's attention, they dismissively told me that people just do whatever they want and that it wasn't their problem. To make matters worse, they offered to book a taxi for my 5:00 AM flight, but it never arrived. Do not rely on them for anything time-sensitive

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026A localização é muito boa, a pé ao centro. Do aeroporto bastante perto de táxi. O prédio é colonial bastante bonito. O acesso também é fácil. O quarto é casa de banho estavam limpos. Pessoal muito prestativo.
Desde o quarto escutavasse tudo no corredor. O ar condicionado não esfriava, abrir as janelas, mas tinha muito mosquito. A dormida foi péssima.

Arrival was a bit unorganized.The reception was not open when we arrived and we didn't know where to leave the luggage before check in. We walked around for a long time to find anyone before we ended up having to ask another guest. The room wasn't very clean and the bathroom is full of mold. Beds were quite uncomfortable. The value for money overall was not great, even for a hostel

Per començar, la rebuda va ser estranya , ens van fer esperar molta estona per donar-nos les claus i ens van dir que el wc de dones estava a una tercera planta (no existeix). Resulta que les claus estaven preparades i no entenem perquè la recepcionista no ens les va donar abans. Els coixins son molt incomodes, et deixen torticolis.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Gorgeous location, everything was super clean. Beds are comfortable, and the shower was hot. Close to the airport. Instructions for entering the building after midnight were clear.
So noisy. People came back at all hours of the night and when I finally could get some sleep, the first one started to shower. Free breakfast was a nice touch (fresh white buns with choice of ham/cheese/honey, cornflakes, milk, some uncut fruit), sugary juice, but coffee is gross. Why I needed to download an app to use the airconditioning is beyond me. I gave up after entering my email and my phone number, before the app wanted to know my favourite food and pin number.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026L’edifici és molt autèntic i agradable. Nosaltres hi vem passar una nit i hi vem estar molt bé. Caminant vem anar a passejar pel centre de la ciutat. Les sales d’espais compartits eren maques i acollidores. La persona que ens va atendre era agradable i servicial.
Ens va costar de trobar.

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026This is a hostel, not a hotel. For a hostel it was exceptional value. Even if the breakfast is mainly bread and cereal, it is still more than many accommodations offer at least for this price. Our room was clean. The showers and toilets were clean. Be mindful of what you are booking, but do not pass on this, if you mainly use the accommodation for sleeping and refreshing up after a long day.
You can and probably will hear a lot of noise from the hallways so prepare by grabbing a pair of earplugs to go with you.

Klimaanlage ging nicht, Farbe blätterte von Wand, Kissen sehr unbequem, mussten Koffer in das Zimmer hinauf schleppen- da Lift kaputt. Frühstück eher dürftig, Kaffee nicht geniessbar.

As camas não são confortáveis e fazem demasiado barulho ao mínimo movimento. Fiquei na cama de cima e foi bastante desconfortável. A estrutura em ferro magoa os pés ao subir e descer, e a escada não transmite a segurança que deveria. Outro ponto muito negativo é o facto de as casas de banho ficarem apenas no piso inferior. Durante a noite, ter de descer um andar para as utilizar é bastante incómodo e pouco prático. Também considero impensável que um quarto não tenha sequer um espelho, sendo um elemento básico e essencial para qualquer hóspede..

Mis amigas y yo estuvimos en una habitación femenina de 4 personas. Nos pusieron a las 3 juntas y compartimos habitación con otra compañera en algunas noches. Los huéspedes muy respetuosos, las camas bastante cómodas y los baños limpios.
Lo único que mejoraría es que echamos en falta una cocina común con nevera.

2 fős szobát foglaltunk, nem volt tv, a fürdőkben a hajszárítók nem működtek. 15:00 óra előtt (check in time előtt) nem találkoztunk ott dolgozóval, recepcióssal, nem volt hova letenni a csomagjainkat amíg várost néztünk volna. A szobába az ablak nyitható volt de kitámasztani nem lehetett, így azt nem lehetett kinyitva hagyni. A 2 személyes szobánk egy 6 személyes szobán vezetett át.

No es el típico hostel mochilero donde conocer a otros viajeros; el ambiente me resultó un poco extraño. NO dispone de nevera ni de zona de cocina. Durante los seis días que estuve alojado, no limpiaron la habitación compartida. Solo cambiaban las sábanas, pero el suelo, la basura y el resto de la habitación permanecían sucios. Además, algunos miembros del personal fueron poco amables. No volvería.

We rarely stay in hostels, but we had a late-night flight and weren’t picking up our rental car until the next day, so we wanted to stay close to the airport for one night. We had a private room with a large, comfortable bed, and it was very quiet. For just €40, breakfast was even included, which was a nice bonus. The hostel is located in a beautiful historic house with a lovely courtyard, giving it a lot of charm. The shared bathrooms were clean, with separate facilities for women and men. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and think it’s an excellent budget-friendly option, especially for young travelers or anyone looking for a convenient overnight stay near the airport.
There was one crazy lady who I think forgot the password to the main door and she was knocking loudly and shouting during the night, this we did not like.
