The owner was excellent, bar staff was fair, room service lady was very helpful along with the security guard, location was very good close to everything and far from the noise.

Hotel molto carino, stanze spaziose, pulite. Letto King size. Personale accogliente, posizione centrale e vicino 5 min a piedi da una deliziosa spiaggia.

Tolles Management, Henri und Chris sind unglaublich gute Gastgeber, sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant und der Bar! Auch Manuela und ihr Team sind TOP! Bei ihr und Giani wirds nie Langweilig, da ist immer Gute Laune angesagt, DANKE! Auch das Küchenteam und das Reinigungspersonal, alle sehr herzlich und tüchtig!

Es hat mir alles gefallen! 3 Wochen keinerlei Beanstandungen, alles gut!

Also kurz und knapp...ich war komplett zufrieden...das Zimmer bzw. Appartement war sehr sauber und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt...das Restaurant kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen...also immer wieder gerne...👌👌👌

Si buscas un hotel acogedor, ¡bienvenido! El dueño, Henrique, es fantástico; atento y amable. Y ni hablar del bar y las camareras, que son increíblemente amables, siempre sonrientes y eficientes. Nos sentimos como en casa. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Sin duda volvería.

Nice hotel close to the center, very friendly staff, kitchen can also be recommended. Rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed. Great price-value, surely will stay there again if I come back to Sosua.

Not my first Time there and was what i needed

Specious apartment, good AC, very clean, nice and comunicative owner. Calm nighbourhood, 2 beaches very near (one very close -down the road - it’s not easy to find, no services available as it is hotel’s beach - but its very clean, calm, no vendors). You can reach everything by foot. Nice, clean pool, available till late. No loud guests mostly older men. Very fast and comfortable check in.

Frying pan and pot were just awful, should be replaced. No lighter/matches to use the stove (anoying). No dishwash soap at arrival but was delivered later. There is some street noise during the day (nights with closed windows are quiet, no problems with sleeping). We had the room by the pool (more quiet) - but there are some smells ocasionally from the kitchen. Overall it is OK for this price. Nothing luxurious but a clean place to sleep :-) With some new kitchen equipement will be even very good for the price.

Ein wirklich tolles, kleines Hotel! Zwar ist es nicht mehr ganz neu, aber alles ist bestens gepflegt, funktioniert einwandfrei und vor allem ist es überall sehr sauber. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Ordnung und Wohlfühlatmosphäre gelegt wird. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt – in nur etwa 5 Minuten ist man schon am Strand. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das Restaurant: Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und absolut empfehlenswert. Ich habe mich während meines Aufenthalts rundum wohlgefühlt und komme sehr gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

El personal, la ubicación y la habitación era grande y cómoda. Si volviera a Sosua, sin lugar a dudas repetiría en este Hotel. Me he sentido tan bien como en casa.

Es tranquilo el lugar, se puede descansar sin dificultad en una amplia habitación; tiene agua fría y caliente, con un excelente aire que pita del frío! Muy cómodo lugar, cambio de toallas y arreglo de la habitación casi no perceptible. Muy agradable piscina.

I like the location, the room was quiet and relaxing, the pool was refreshing and also the restaurant has as good food and service as anywhere in Sosua.

El trato del personal y la ubicación muy buena, me encantó este lugar, tiene la habitación muy cómoda con cama grande para descansar, la piscina muy linda y cerca de las playas.

Que la tv solo es por cable, no tiene YouTube ni Netflix, solo se ven canales de cable!

Sehr, sehr gute Küche! Von morgens bis abends geöffnet, sehr gut! Super Bar, perfektes Hotelmanagement (Chris), alles sehr unkompliziert! Tolle Anlage, übersichtlich, praktisch, sehr schöne und saubere Poolanlage, Strandnähe, einfach alles perfekt!

The apartment is spacious and the beds are good. It is not so far from a good supermarket and beach.

The kitchen was terrible. Less than basic. One small frying pan where the eggs stuck to the bottom. A small cooking pot that also should have been thrown out a long time ago. No cutting knife, no cutting board, ect ect. Reviews were all good so I was wondering how this could be. Then I found that most reviewers and guests were (older) single men. And proberly most do not cook. In this hotel guys can only bring 2 ladies to their room at a time. Oke with me but that doesn't mean that I like the atmosphere that comes with this. For that group I am sure that this is an enjoyable place. As a backpacking couple we were big misfits here

The location is perfect , walk to the beach and a beautiful pool for after.

The breakfast was good and on time. I really enjoyed the Dominica Spaghetti . The pool was refreshing and I had a great room . The staff was really nice from Security officers, Cleaning crew, Chefs, Bartenders. I had a problem with my fringe and the owner replace it .I was able to cook my food as well. I had a great time and looking to return.

I stayed nearly 2 weeks in Don Andres while attending a language school in Sosua. The location was perfect, only few mins walking from beaches Casa Marina and Alicia. The apartment was spacious and very quiet. I also enjoyed chilling by the pool and having a coffee at the adjacent restaurant. Henrik was very helpful with accommodating my requests.

Good location, near center. Very nice and friendly stuff, especially girls in the bar Odaly and Manuela - they made great cocktails.

The shower was too small water was getting on the floor next to toilet.

Safety, cleanliness and staff

There are no televisions in the bedrooms. The living room furniture is the worst and hardest couches I have even sat on. The shower is very small. The kitchen is very old and needs to be updated.

The property gave me an old school vibe, it was a central location to all of the local spots!

Clean, comfortable. Service was good. But, I didn’t make use of much at the hotel.The only problem really was the hotel is cash only. I was lucky I actually had cash on me at the time.

Very large room with large bed and new bathroom (warm water). Daily room service. Location conveniently close to restaurants and beaches. Good laundry service. Small kitchenette and fridge (but we didn't use it). Modern AC

Towels didn't really dry the skin and were very thin. Breakfast was mediocre but there are plenty of other options nearby. Our room was directly next to the pool/bar and had a window to street. It was a little noisy. The clientele are mostly older white men and the house rules clearly state to have just two (women) visitors... We therefore rarely used the bar/pool area.

The owner was an expectational guy! He was fun, friendly and extremely helpful. It was a perfect place to start my backpacking trip through the DR.

It’s an old hotel but very clean and well maintained. Belgium person who is manager/owner was very helpful and nice. Great working AC. Customer service at the bar from two girls was excellent. The food is good.

Great place 2 minutes away from the beach. The staff was friendly and talkative.

I liked the location. It was very close to center of town. The cleaning staff came in each day to mop floors and make bed, but they don't change sheets or towels.

I would prefer to pay for hotel online, and not have to pay in cash. I didn't like that one of the two bedrooms did not have an air conditioner.

The pool is nice, and one California bed with a.c. other don't. The owner is cool duke.

Staff need to fix the attitude after I request toliet paper. It is not for family pleasure
