El restaurante del hotel es caro y la piscina necesita limpieza También me cobraron 40 dólares por unas teclas que mandé a modificar, cuando en realidad no les cuesta más de un dólar hacer unas nuevas, así que no me gustó.

The waiting time…and also it was the security guard the one who welcomed me and there was no receptionist available, and he was not even aware that a guest was expected to arrive. In the room, I did not feel safe because I was unable to lock the door, and it remained open throughout the entire night. The level of cleanliness was also poor.

Accommodations arebaboit as aberahe as youncan get in that area. Water was very hotbwihich is excellent in my opinion. Price reasonable per night. Will definitely stay again as an alternate option.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2025Terrible hotel and location but the staff were responsive to my complaints and did their best to accommodate me. I noticed ants in my room the moment i walked in ! ANTS ! fellas, stay away, this place is cheap for a reason. Never felt safe , very loud and noisy area of town. Don't buy the " it's close to all the nice areas of town" , sosua downtown is tiny. Everything is close to everything. I'll end by shouting out Tom the dude at the reception , he is american and being able to communicate in english really helped.

Toilet flushing issues...immediately fixed but, toilet water often ran & then broke again before departure. My windows & balcony opened to a back ally. On the last night I noticed that although most of the windows locks were in the lock position, they actually didn't lock. It would have been INCREDIBLY easy for someone to walk in to the back ally (TOTALLY hidden from public view), scale the side wall and open one of the 4 windows...and get out totally unnoticed. They did have a flood light but it made it difficult to sleep.

Noise. It was a big problem. It came from the nearest hotel and the traffic. Windows are not in a good shape so you sleep like in the street.

The hotel is under new management, and it's better than before. The new owner, Tom, is a hands-on manager who is remaking and remodeling the place to modernize it and create a comfortable environment. The rooms and beddings are clean and comfortable, though a vacuum would be useful to remove remaining hair strands sometimes found on the floor. There is bar and restaurant where food is served, but since French Toast and roast chicken are not on the menu, I have not yet eaten there. The location is convenient, the view is beautiful, and the price is right.

Staying here was quite the experience! The water pressure was so low at times, I’m pretty sure I could spit harder. Hot water? Oh, that’s a luxury—cold showers are apparently their signature spa treatment. As for the soundproofing, well, let’s just say I’ve learned way too much about my neighbors' personal lives. If you’re into eavesdropping or enjoy reliving your gym-class cold-shower days, this place is for you. Otherwise, maybe pack some earplugs and a bucket!
