Hotel Restaurant Rosenhof

The owner of the hotel was really nice and friendly. He stayed a couple minutes after closing time to explain to me how to get to Stuttgart-Center using the train.

Rooms are clean Housekeeping is excellent Staff friendly and we give it five stars cross the board

My room was like a little apartment. We stayed there a week, and on the 3rd day we realized you have to request the remote to the AC in order to use it. The food does not come with the room youll have to pay extra. Very tasty tho. The workers treated us very nice compared to the rudeness we endured throughout Germany. If we come back we will choose this establishment.

Small blocks of rooms situated aroubd courtyard. Checkin was a huge pain bc it was a subday and most germans dont work sundays

Nice rooms, nice property, and the departure treat bag was a very nice touch.

We had an apartment style room which was very clean and quiet. They were furnished with dishes and cookware should you be staying for an extended time and did not want to eat out all the time. The rooms has chilled air and were very comfortable.

PRO: Clean, friendly staff, good parking, easy walk to restaurants and movie theatre. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. CON: Autobahn noise and TV was not working at all. The room was small for the price we paid per night.

It was a comfortable room for money and near Ramstein.

The room was great with a queen bed ,a microwave ,a refrigerator and individual quilts. The only slightly negative thing was it was very hot the day we were there .the AC was not on and we had to go and ask how we turn it on as there was no thermostat for it. My husband came back with a remote . we could not get it to work and we had to go back again hoping that the office was still open. It was and then they said oh we gave you the wrong one. Well they never even told us about having to get the remote to work the AC when we checked in . that should have been automatic. Otherwise everything else was very good

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Rosenhof!! The room was spotless and spacious. The bathroom was so luxurious. And the staff were some of the kindest and most helpful in our 3 weeks travel in Europe. Please stay at this hotel and support this wonderful family!

The room was very clean, the bed comfortable. However, there was no remote to turn on the air conditioner, and there is no one at the service desk after 9pm to call and ask for help. Fortunately, we travel with a small portable fan, but it would have been much better if the AC could have been turned on.

Staff here was very friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. My only issue is they provide ear plugs… because you need them. The roadway next to this hotel is extremely noisy and you can hear the people in the room next to you. For that reason alone, I would not stay again.

Front desk staff very friendly. Overall the stay was very good. Two very small complaints; if you are at the end of the row you hear the traffic at night. However, they did provide ear plugs which was a thoughtful touch. The property is a little older but very well maintained and very clean.

Adorable hotel that had just what we needed for our stay to visit our son for the holiday! Nice and quiet. Small shower, but we’ve had worse and didn’t mind. Had a fridge, which was a plus! Recommend to any travelers to the area!

The apartment was fabulous!!! Very clean, roomy and comfortable. Grocery and eateries were within walking distance. Train station across the street and yet the area was quiet and relaxing. The only issue was that service was non existent. Towels were changed out 1x a week, however we had to but TP ourselves. The staff was wonderful, but the people that did the repairs was seriously lacking. We had a safety issue with our bed (kept falling apart causing bruises multiple times a night {5x's!!!} for multiple nights {3 nights}). We reported it on Monday afternoon. We were told someone would be by Tuesday or Wednesday to fix it and no one showed until 9am on Friday. By that time we had made the repair ourselves. (By Wednesday afternoon we went out purchased what was needed and made the repairs ourselves).

Has anyone ever heard of a hotel withholding the air conditioning from guests??? Upon check-in, I was told a/c was not included in my price of the room. However, for a surcharge, they would provide me with the remote. Expedia and the hotel itself needs to fully disclose this to all guests. Otherwise, it’s a bait and switch! By the way, the rooms are NOT soundproof and you can hear the highway outside the door. Stay away from this hotel…there are others right next door that I’m sure include the air conditioning!

Booking rooms tried arrival two days late they considered us no show gave away our room needless to say they still collected our money but refused to give a room hmm so I’m leaving a bad review experience with management on phone very frustrating to speak in that tone to customer Won’t be staying here again Go to Air Force Inn is room available Best western or Hyatt Hilton gotta be better

This is a wonderful little hotel located near Ramstein and Kaiserslautern bases. The staff is super nice and helpful and made sure that I didn't need anything (I arrived rather late in the day). The walls are a bit thin, but they provided ear plugs for everyone. The bed was SUPER comfy.

Hotel review only- did not dine in restaurant. Excellent check in process. Nice CLEAN room with small safe and fridge. Complementary bottle of water. Big TV, comfortable queen bed. Excellent blackout blinds. Plenty of storage. We thought it odd that the bathroom door is clear (see photo, door is closed). It wasn’t the best as far as privacy or not waking others in the morning but not a big deal. Overall a perfect stay.

Been in Landstuhl many times but for the first time I`ve stayed in this hotel. And I truly find it comfortable, quite and clean.

Was newly renovated and the rooms were clean, functional, and working wonderfully. We also found the area and location of the hotel so convenient to Ramstein Base and all the nearby cities. We had a wonderful stay with great parking and safe environment.

It was an amazing stay for an overnight trip. The room is spotless clean, bed is very comfortable. I would definitely book my future stays there.

This place is an amazing little property! The staff was friendly, accommodating and went over and above to make sure were had all that were needed. Will say, Germany doesn’t do US style coffee in room so bring your own machine and adapter for power. Aside from that, we loved this place and will return! Breakfast was home cooked, varied and a great way to start the day. The property is an old rose plantation that’s been converted to rooms. As a short term rental owner myself, I really appreciated the little touches of the property, the condition of it (immaculate) and its location to everything was perfect for us. Staff speaks English and seemed to always be on the lookout to make sure needs are met. Upon checkout, we received a bag with water and apples for our journey, also met with a smile from the counter lady and a genuine care for us and our business. THIS is the way you do hospitality! Can’t say enough good things about these ladies and the property, so don’t hesitate to give it a try.

It appeared that the rooms had previously been renovated. The room looked fairly new. There were plenty of towels and they even had washclothes, which is unheard of in European hotels. The staff was very friendly. We were only here for a night so we didn't use the restaurant or any other amenities that the hotel had. The location was perfect for the places we needed to go to while there. Overall though our experience was very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to town.

Nice property for an overnight stay. Had everything I needed plus some, except a fitness center which would be a nice addition. Seems like it's intended more for extended stays but it worked well for me.

Lovely place with a great breakfast, very friendly staff, wonderful restaurant, and convenient to Landstuhl, Ramstein, and the highway. At the dead end of an access road, next to the highway. Might be noisy when windows are open since each room has earplugs!

They care about customer service here and it shows. Dinner in the restaurant was good, The grounds are nice, Great location off of the autobahn and close to the town. Only negative was the bed was a little hard for me.

Wonderful place. Everyone was so nice and polite. The dinner we had was great, and they have an amazing German breakfast.

We would like to thank the hotel staff for a wonderful stay, again. As always the restaurant is the best - great food (cheesecake was unbelievable; potato soup a favorite) and staff is outstanding. Our room was fantastic with a separate room for kitchenette and table and very large bedroom with our very own foyer entrance allowing us to remove our wet items before going into room. But most of all thank you so much for accommodating our friends (and their dog) at the last minute when their flight was canceled. It made things so convenient and they were able to enjoy one last really good German meal before heading back to the US. And the thank you gift upon check-out is a very nice touch, especially the bottle of water for the drive. See you next time!

I have been staying here for years and the welcome and service has always been first rate. They have different types of rooms, most being large with air conditioning and updated facilities. The only drawback might be for light sleepers as the hotel is directly on the A6, this has never been a hindrance to me as being on the autobahn is the convenience I like.

We came for a medical procedure at the American hospital at Landstuhl and decided to make a weekend of it. The hotel was perfect! Location could not have been better - easy access on and off the highway, minutes driving to both the hospital and Ramstein AB, walking distance to train station for one stop by train to Kaiserslautern for soccer game or into Landstuhl itself. The service was incredible from the easy check-in and check-out,

Property was clean, warm, hospitable and orderly. Waited a few minute but none of the staff acknowledged my presence. I reached out to a host asking for check in services.

Neat and tidy room. Service was nice, they walk you to your room. Breakfast was extra, but good. I thought i got a larger room with sofa, but didnt. Also the doors to the toilet and shower is glass, with a mirror directly across from it, so not much privacy in the privy.

Great service and everyone is really nice. Its very convenient to the air base.

Air conditioning units were present and controls were kept at front desk and we could not get one because the desk closes early. Room was nice but it was hard trying to sleep and the noise from the road was very noticeable.

This place is beautiful and fantastic restaurant on site. Close the highway and near Ramstein AFB. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.

Really a cute little place. The vibe was old German, but the room was freshly updated and very clean.

It is a nice quaint hotel and their service was excellent, but there were a couple things that were downers. The first was beyond their control and that is the proximity to the highway. I am sure this hotel has been there longer than the highway that is right next to it, but nonetheless it is there and cars are driving past at all hours of the night. They leave ear plugs next to the bed. The other things I didn't like were the height of the bed - maybe one foot off the floor and the Wi-Fi coverage was spotty Saying all that, the staff was very polite, the room was very clean and the buildings themselves were very attractive with their old school fell.

For the most part....the hotel was great. Good bed....Hotel felt very new and is in Very good shape. Plus the location was perfect. The one issues I had is the shower. There was none....just a bath tub with a shower head connected to the faucet. No curtain. I haven’t sat/knelt down to wash myself in probably 20 years. If I would stand, then water just gets everywhere with no curtain. Secondly, the hotel is attached to a restaraunt....and the rooms are outside of the main reception area. In other words, people can come directly to your room door without anyone taking too much notice. Because of this, I would double lock my door everyday to make it a bit harder for anyone who doesn’t belong there. But when they’d clean my room daily, the staff would just close the door behind them and let the standard locking secure the door. Nothing was taken and had no issues, just felt a bit annoyed everyday.

I really have no complaints. The room was wonderful, the service and employees were wonderful, the breakfast was wonderful, and the location is perfect. The only minor issue we had was that the wifi was sometimes really slow. But other than that, we would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend others stay here!

Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was wonderful. They even gave me a complimentary snack bag with an apple, bottled water and candy upon my check-out. And, its location made it very convenient for me while visiting with my son, who lives in Landstuhl and also going to the Airbase. Would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Just an overnight stay. It was close to Ramstein. The restaurant servers excellent food. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The facility has a quaint old world feel.
