Location is good to central Woodstock and the 401. Good Parking, friendly staff. Quiet

Room did look as though the owners were trying to improve. The bed was comfortable and clean as was the shower and toilet. However, the door, as with the bathroom door looked as though it had extra wood added to the structure to add strength. Cobwebs in every ceiling corner. Door frame to the bathroom was really not clean especially close to the toilet. The arms on the comfy chairs were stained. The bathroom floor wasn't clean under the floor mat.

First thing I noticed walking in room was how good it smelled! Very comfy bed. nice what look like newly remodeled shower! Just a couple min drive to get food!

Second time ive went there and the blankets are stained. The owner then takes my deposit even tho i didn't make the stains.

It was fine. No frills, mom and pop joint. Owner was very friendly and helpful. It was convenient for my 'event' in Burford.

Room was small and so was shower, but I do think the bathroom had been remodeled. No coffee in room or even office. I don't remember much else . . . It was Ok, I don't usually spend much time in the room anyway.

Their website says 24/7 reception, which isn't the case. Other than that, this is a wonderful venue/area for a pass-through occasion. Perfect!

Staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. They went above and beyond. The facilities are nice and simple. I love a motel aesthetic, and I loved the Tulip.

helpful but slow

Disgustingly dirty everything in the room. No joke it was literally the most nasty room I've ever been in.....and I've been to jail. Not only was the room disgustingly dirty but it was infested with cockroaches. Have a look at the stillshots from video I took of the cockroaches. After being there for a mere two hours ( the most uncomfortable 2 hours of my life) I went to checkout and get a full refund of the room cost which was quickly denied by the very unhelpful person in charge. They tried to say it was my fault I didn't check the room prior to agreeing to pay and that he would only refund my damage deposit of 100 dollars. I am a full time employee of a reputable manufacturing facility and I can assure you I wasnt out to rip the place off for a lousy 200 dollars. All I can say is that theres going to be some ptsd counselling in my near future

It was the dirtiest room I have ever seen, I had to go out and buy cleaner as walls were gross and floor was sticky. My white socks were almost black within a few mins. The sheets had black hair on them and stains. I went out and bought my own sheets aswell. Never again! Beware!

For sure the dirtiest motel I’ve ever stayed in. I had to go to the nearest Walmart to purchase my own bedding, pillow, towel and face clothes because there were no other places near by with availability.

The place was run down unmaintained filthy dirty. Nothing is clean not even the bed. Says there pet friendly until you get there then charge you $50 for your dog cause they say no pets. Would not recommend keeping livestock there little lone people

Walls are paper thin, so people next door that had company were VERY LOUD!!!! Room was cold, heating system needs an update. Only one side table for king size bed. Ceramic tile floor was freezing. Lock on door was broken so only had 1 in the knob lock. No space in bathroom to put your personal items.

Owner was very welcoming

Good price and was clean. Had a mini fridge and microwave. Checked in with a friendly lady at 8:30pm travelling with my daughter. We were in a town for a sports competition. No problems. Had a quiet and comfortable night and left early the next morning.

The renovated rooms are really quite nice. Very clean, very bright very fresh. We however chose a smoking room and didn’t find out it was Unrenovated until check in It is not nice. But it’s mostly clean. He tried to move usimmediately to a renovated non smoking room, so I don’t think he prepped this room

OMG - IT IS A DIVE. It is very cheap, open electrical outlets, worn out towels, very dark not enough lighting, no complimentary coffee or tea. I had to buy a power cord just to plug 3 devices in. Location is good. There is grime and dirt over the walls and doors. Very bad odor - I bought Lysol. I also bought a small coffee maker at Walmart. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. Someone did a horrific paint job - streaks and runs everywhere. Looked like a scene from a horror movie. They want you to clean up the room before they will give your deposit back!!! BAD, BAD, BAD - will never go there again.

Definitely order some food at the food truck parked at the entrance of the motel - best chicken curry in town!

Convenient location, ground floor all rooms and very well lit parking lot.

A/C units in windows could be more secure. Can lift window from outside which isn’t ideal and slightly concerning. Would likely have better cooling properties if better fixed into the windows as well as security.

Stayed at the Tulip Motel past Saturday night. Owners were polite and very easy check in/check out. Read reviews of people complaining about the place but there is nothing wrong with it if looking for a budget friendly option for the night. Room could use some updating especially the bathroom, but I didn't mind it. It's the difference between staying at a $300 a night place and a $90 a night place. Can't expect it to be perfect at the low price. It did the trick and I got a good nights sleep. Thank you to the owners/employees for the great service. Would stay again if back in Woodstock!

I'm not happy with booking.com, and will have to resolve an issue with them, not the hotel's fault. The walls were a little thin, could hear our neighbours talking, so I;m sure they heard us. Only 1 towel in the bathroom, we had to go ask for more.

Lots of parking. Older motel so a little dated, but it’s quiet, clean, convenient, comfortable. There is cable tv, food truck out front. Not sure if internet, didn’t use. This is a good, inexpensive place to lay your head.

Raj was very kind and humble when the stay completed. The bed is very comfortable. There is a mini fridge with a small freezer and a microwave. It was very quiet. Tenants were all very sociable and kind. The internet however did take an incredible time to load YouTube literal minutes. I do recommend a stay here yet for internet seek a local McDonald's or Wendy's.

After arriving, my wife went to take a shower only to find no towels, once towels were retrieved, there was no hot water. Maintenance came to check out the hot water in the room (like i guess there was a hidden hot water tank in the bathroom?). He left, came back and said all tanks are working and maybe he was just used to the water being that cool?... so, no shower... upon turning down the bed, there was black hair in between the sheets! Needless to say, we slept very little as there was a train going by every 1/2 hour or so... when morning came, i checked the hot water again and still nothing! We packed up and returned the key to the front desk where we were told the hot water was turned up and they never heard of these types of complaints before... i booked 3 nights, only stayed for 1 and did not get a refund for the last two nights. We have traveled and stayed at some pretty questionable places and i can honestly say this tops one of the worse places ever! I would not recommend staying here.

The property was as displayed on the website there was a slight mix up with the rooms but the manger kindly sorted it out.

My stay at Tulip was great. My family enjoyed it.

Raj, the hotel owner, was fantastic. I can tell he makes everyone feel comfortable.

Just good place to stay nothing fancy.

We booked the room for after a wedding and knew we wouldn’t be there long and it was a bed and bathroom to come back too. Unfortunately I didn’t expect to have only 2 very thin pillows and a sheet for a blanket. I highly recommend adding a few pillows and a much thicker blanket for your guests. My husband and I slept in pants & a sweater just to stay warm.

Dirty, room reserved for two and was equipped with 1 hand towel, 1 small bath towel, no face cloth, 1 motel size bar soap, 1 roll toilet paper. TV not working properly. air conditioner not working properly. Paid $20.00 extra per night for xsmall poodle that is cleaner than room.

Long story short. I was traveling with my poodle. It was like I stayed in a kennel with my dog rather than my dog staying with me in a motel. I have pictures if you would like to see them. I suspect they have one nice room that was used in the photos I looked at when booking the room.

It is an older motel which has been renovated. The reception clerk was helpful and respectful. The air conditioner was loud, the wifi was difficut to access and unreliable. It is the only motel i have stayed at which requires a physical checkout to recover the damage deposit. The checkout clerk's people skills were lacking to the extent of rudeness. I won't stay there again, I don't recommend anyone else to stay there either

There was only half a roll of toliet paper in the bathroom... ran out halfway through the night... one set of towels when it said two guest were staying over night. Room was freezing. The heat wasnt on and had to wait a while before the room was warm after we turned the heat on. Wifi password wasnt listed in the room. Tv programs were displayed small on the tv and i reserved this room days before stayed.

the room was very clean, pet friendly , no smoking, quiet. a brand new bathroom great shower stall! the manager was very friendly, checked on us daily we stayed prover longer than a couple weeks didn’t have any issues .

I didn’t like there wasn’t a deadbolt on the door but it’s very quiet outside of the city very relaxing
