Wir hatten große Zimmer.

It wasn’t great, I couldn’t get hold of anyone at the property for hours to find out what room I was staying in for the key

The meal in the tree tops restaurant was top quality .

The breakfast was good , but should have been better if it wasn't for the potato scones being to hard and the scrambled eggs being cold

Bedroom was nice. comfy bed, facilities, lots of parking place, breakfast was good though not many options Bathroom had good option for cold and hot water. Bathroom was clean. Hotel room was clean. Staff were nice and supportive.

No lift. Bathroom needs some repair in ceiling as there was water leakage. Bathroom Design could have been better as WC was compact with less space around and there was lots of empty space.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the location next to public transport was a bonus. We requested a ground floor room and we were given one, however....

The room we were in (41) had no natural light with the window onto a corridor and there were some drink stains on the wall. On the plus side, the bathroom was bright with a large external window The hotel is undergoing some refurbishment and hopefully this will sort out these issues.

What did I like? The cheery receptionist. The comfy rooms. The accommodating bar staff after we came in close to closing time. The hassle free stay.

Was in a location I needed for my trip. Nice big bedrooms. Comfortable bed. Plenty parking available. Good value bar food.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war gut und beinhaltete alles Notwendige, sogar Aufschnitt und Käse. Die Lage war sehr gut und zentral. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Nur ca. 20-25 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum Edinburgh entfernt.

Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Waschraum in dem bis spät Abends die Waschmaschinen liefen. Zusätzlich lief noch eine Klimaanlage oder ein Gebläse für Abluft, Das verursachte echt störende Geräusche.

We had a big bath in the toilet which was the only thing that was on the description.

it says there would have been a sofa bed and a double bed which we had twin beds in the room with no sofa. My wife and I did not get a good sleep and I struggle with sore legs during my sleep and I need to sit on the couch during the night and fall asleep until I can go back to bed. I wouldn't have booked this room if I knew there would have been twin beds. I asked reception but there wasnt any rooms available with the big bath and a double bed.

房间比较大，房间外面的小花园很漂亮，免费停车，我们在酒店吃了晚餐，还可以，早餐也是英式自助式早餐，种类不多，味道一般吧。

酒店设施很陈旧，我们住的房间在一楼，是下沉式的，不是标准的酒店布局，半夜去卫生间要上2个台阶，没有任何夜灯，比较危险，房间到小花园的门锁不上。

Alojamiento con encanto, instalaciones antiguas pero bien conservadas , limpio y cómodo. Personal amable y comida excelente , buenísima, éramos 4 y cada uno pidió un plato, a cual mejor !! Mis hijos adolescentes admiraron cuanto trabajo había, para mantener un sitio tan antiguo a un nivel tan alto. Les encantó! Muy recomendable!!

A szobánk hatalmas volt, sajnos külön ágyat kaptunk, és látszott hogy egy régi épület, de ezt leszámítva tetszett.

Használatból eredő amortizáció illetve a régi épület velejárói látszottak pl a fürdőszobán.

Room was on ground floor in a building remote from main building. This meant external noise was minimal.

Il divano era un po’ impolverato

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Ein tolles Restaurant, in dem man sehr gut zu Abend essen konnte.

Der Teppichboden im Zimmer war sehr alt und wirkte ungepflegt. Das Badezimmer war aber sehr sauber, war auch noch relativ neu.

The room was a bit too hot. Had a meal in the evening. The service was good for the first course, but had to ask for a menu twice and a long wait for dessert. They where chatting in between themselves, it was not busy at this point.

Loved the location. Smack dab in between Edinburgh and Stirling. The staff were fantastic, and I can be difficult at times with my old lady hips and knees. They went far and above their call of duty.

Some stairs need hand rails for those of us with balance issues.

The location was ok. Atmosphere wasn't great. The room was not worth the price at all, it needed a full refurb and the bathroom was falling apart, it also with a weird smell. cleanliness wasn't good. the noise level was the only good thing. the staff were friendly enough. there wasn't much amenities.

Les chambres au 1er étage au fond à gauche de l'hôtel, dont la numéro 14, sont à refuser. Elles se situent au dessus des compresseurs des frigos et de la machinerie de l'Hôtel. De fait le bruit est vraiment infernal jusqu'à plus de minuit et reprend vers 5 heure du matin. Nous suggérons au manageur de tenter lui-même de passer une nuit dans une de ces chambres pour mieux apprécier le problème s'il devait feindre de ne rien comprendre.

Room very dated - wallpapers, carpets, curtains. A weird layout of the room with a settee facing... door. Breakfast was ok but it felt kinda dated too. Sliced bread in a plastic bag for people to help themselves just didn't feel right. Only fruit yoghurt, it would be nice to see natural one too. Some juices but no water available to drink. We asked for water.

Accueil très agréable à la réception Chambre ancienne mais propre. Mobilier ancien et abîmé (démodé). Petit déjeuner correct mais pas exceptionnel. Assez calme mais nous entendions tout de même les voitures circuler sur la route devant l'hôtel. OK pour une nuit avant de prendre l'avion le lendemain matin.

The shower wasnt fitted correctly making getting a shower hard work you had to hold the shower head as the fitting wasn't a correct one .

Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war wirklich sehr gut und die Preise für Essen und Trinken im Vergleich zu unseren sonstigen Erfahrungen in Schottland recht moderat. Der kleine Garten vor dem Hotel war nett. Von diesem Standort kann man viele Unternehmungen machen.

Das Haus ist sehr abgewohnt. Teppichboden, Tapeten, Vorhänge etc. sind offensichtlich seit den frühen 90ern nicht erneuert worden. Teppichbodenstellen im Flur teilweise mit Klebeband ausgebessert, Zugring für Insektenschutzrollo herausgerissen. Die Gartenmöbel waren von Taubenkot verdreckt und wurden weder gereinigt noch ordentlich zusammengestellt, Gläser und Aschenbecher vom Vorabend standen am nächsten Morgen noch da. Das Frühstück war nur schlecht, alles offensichtlich vom Billigsten. Das Haus scheint dennoch im Ort recht beliebt und führt grössere Feiern durch. Der Ort Grangemouth ist wenig ansprechend. Eine grosse Raffinerie und ein Gewerbegebiet sind angrenzend.

The staff was very friendly, especially the young receptionist with the ginger curly hair (unfortunately I can't remember her name). My room was very clean and spaceaous.

We stayed for one night in order to attend a family event.The hotel is in a lovely,tranquil location,great parking.All staff were friendly and professional and our room was large,clean with comfortable beds (we spent twice the amount for a room, less than half the size,in London recently).We had dinner in the hotel at the treetops restaurant and it was very good and great value. Only issue is that the breakfast room needs to be moderized a bit.

We liked having a fridge in the room . The room was well furnished and everything worked. Reception staff were very pleasant. The secondhand book stall which raised money for charity was a great idea.

This was our second stay at the Lea Park and last time we'd had a meal on the Saturday evening. The restaurant had only one other table occupied, the waiter couldn't describe what was in the dishes and had not been aware that we'd booked a table (not that that would have been a problem due to the low occupancy). This time I asked about the restaurant and was told that there was no need to book as it was hardly occupied. We decided to try elsewhere to find some life.

Very nice hotel - ideal location for the visits we wanted to make. Our room was good & the food was very good. Ate in the Treetops bar a couple of evenings & the good/drinks were very good. The staff, both in the hotel & Treetops bar, were friendly & helpful.

Lovely friendly check-in but the rest was disappointing. Everywhere is so tired & almost depressing. Our double room was small, so much so that when the bathroom door was open, we couldn't see the tiny TV. There was a blank wall opposite the bed - why on earth wasn't the TV on that? Reception poor - kept buffering. Bathroom was horrible: black grouting, peeling away. Health hazard & unpleasant. There was a permanent, nasty smell in the room- not sure if we were above smokers' corner or if it was the nearby chemical works. Light bite in restaurant was fine but service was very slow. The lady in reception had warned us that a French party were due for breakfast at 7.30 so we went down for 8. Sadly, that meant that the croissants & decent bread had all gone. Only cheap sliced was left. Fruit was melon & tinned mandarins! Only strawberry yogurt. Never seen scrambled eggs like it - looked as if they'd been cooked as one piece in an oven or waterbath & then chopped up!!!! No fried eggs. Overall, I would recommend finding somewhere else to stay. PS plenty of parking

Very little choice for breakfast breakfast if you don't want a full cooked breakfast. Eggs Benedict was appalling. Came completely covered in hollandaise sauce, filled the plate also. No taste. Left it. Was asked if I wanted anything else but this was after my Husband had finished eating and we were ready to leave. The milk that was left on a table was poured back into the jugs that were in the chiller. Very poor. A real shame as it over shadowed everything else.
