Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Über die Rezeption haben wir einen Ausflug fürs "Tubing" gebucht. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit muss man mögen. Ventilator in jedem Zimmer. Bad war auch sehr sauber. Geräusche der Natur die ganze Nacht. Wir finden das schön und würden wiederkommen und empfehlen es gerne weiter.

C’est vraiment fantastique d’être logé dans la jungle. Et les chalets sont très beaux ! Le son des animaux, la végétation exubérante, les activités proposées, les animaux que l’on a pu observer, l’organisation générale, tout était impeccable ! Un lieu de rêve !

J’avais des voisins bruyants, qui non seulement parlaient beaucoup et trop fort mais qui laissaient les lumières extérieures allumées toute la journée et la nuit. Cela a gâché le plaisir que l’on aurait pu avoir si des personnes si peu civiques n’étaient pas là. Je suggère à l’établissement de créer une charte de bonne conduite : être discret et calme en tant que voisins, ne pas allumer les lumières extérieur si ce n’était pas nécessaire et pour le respect des animaux.

Absolument tout !! La structure, les lodges, les repas, le personnel, le service. Notre séjour a été exceptionnel.

Un seul bémol pour en donner un. Mais en étant en pleine jungle cela est normal mais l'humidité....mes pauvres os ont soufferts....

The staff were friendly, check in was quick and the room was as described. The hotel was able to help organise trips and transfers. The hotel has an onsite restaurant which serves the most delicious food.

That the shower would switch between scalding hot and cold! There was a power cut in the night for about an hour - all understandable due to the location

We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Cottages Khao Sok and would happily stay here again. The cottages are spacious, clean, and beautifully built with authentic wood, giving them a warm and cozy atmosphere that fits perfectly into the surrounding jungle. The open design of the cottages is something worth mentioning. Yes, small insects or animals may occasionally find their way in, but that's simply part of staying in one of the world's oldest rainforests. The bed is protected with a mosquito net, and the open construction allows for a pleasant natural breeze, which we really appreciated. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with an incredible variety of tropical plants and flowers. It almost feels like walking through a botanical garden. The location along the river is absolutely stunning. You can float downstream on an inner tube or explore by canoe, while directly across the river lies the ancient rainforest. Watching monkeys move through the treetops while surrounded by towering trees is something we'll never forget. The cottages are about a 10-minute drive from the small village of Khao Sok (around a 1.5-hour walk), where you'll find several excellent restaurants and great, affordable massages (we advise Viva Health Massage, the best in the whole of Thailand ❤️). The restaurant at the resort itself is also excellent, so you don't even have to leave if you don't want to. The staff were genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One thing some people might mention is the sound of frogs, insects, and other wildlife at night. For us, that was one of the highlights. Falling asleep to the constant chorus of the rainforest felt incredibly peaceful—almost like listening to a natural meditation soundtrack. If you're looking for silence, this may not be your place. But if you want an authentic jungle experience, it's absolutely perfect.

L’humidité omniprésente. Mon fils a mouillé son lit durant la nuit et j’ai dû payer un supplément nettoyage. Je n’ai pas trouvé cela très avenant.

Je zit natuurlijk in de jungle, dus hou er rekening mee dat de nachten klam en vochtig kunnen zijn.

Great staf and outstanding food & beverage.

Excellent staff, facilities, and activity options. We especially enjoyed river tubing and the overnight raft house at Cheow Lan Lake - a truly special experience. The team also handled pick-up and drop-off smoothly, with the driver delivering our luggage from the cottages to the pier for an easy transfer to Donsak.

The only downside was nighttime noise from falling branches and rain on the roof which disturbed our sleep.

Mooie huisjes midden in een mooi aangelegde tropische tuin. Restaurant is goed, westers georienteerd. Organiseren tochten en je kunt zwemmen aan de rivier.

Los bungalows de madera son muy bonitos, cómodo, en medio del bosque y al lado del río, tienen Donuts y puedes bajar por el río con ellos. el entorno es espectacular. La comida muy buena a precios razonables Reservamos el tour al lago desde el hotel y todo fue muy bien, los traslados, el guia, la comida, el hotel del lago...todo genial.

Está alejado del pueblo. Podría ofrecer desayuno con el precio de la habitación.

Midden in de jungle, vriendelijke mensen, heerlijk eten. Echt een aanrader. Onze kinderen (10 en 13 jaar) vonden het het er heel leuk! Vooral het glijden met de banden over de rivier. Ik raad het iedereen aan om hier een bezoek te brengen. Echter, de tours zijn enorm toeristisch. Je staat met wel 150 toeristen in een grot of met meer dan 20 mensen op een longtailboot. Overweeg privé tour te nemen als dat binnen je budget ligt, je kan dan meer genieten van de omgeving want die is echt geweldig!

Geweldige locatie aan de rivier waarin je kon zwemmen en midden in de jungle. Eenvoudige accomodatie zonder airco maar met ventilatie toren. Geweldig personeel en een uitstapje naar Koh Sok National Park is een aanrader. Evenals tuben met een gids op de rivier. De flora en fauna was prachtig.

Geen airco en was daardoor erg benauwd, maar dat hoort bij de jungle

Leuke locatie met uitzicht op de rivier, we zagen een slang en apen vanop ons balkon. Het was tof om iets verderop in de rivier te springen en je te laten meevaren door de stroom tot voor ons eigen huisje. Er waren lekkere maaltijden te verkrijgen en je kon gezelschapsspellen spelen ‘s avonds. We hebben ook de lake toer geboekt vanuit het hotel en de half day hike.

Je moest wel extra bijbetalen om gebruik te maken van opblaasbanden om op de rivier te tuben. Dit kunnen ze gerust gratis aanbieden. De uitstappen waren ook naar Thaise normen aan de dure kant. Koelkast in de kamer zou pluspunt geweest zijn.

Prachtige plek in een geweldige omgeving. Het was echt een unieke en bijzondere ervaring middenin de jungle in een prachtig huisje.

Hotel muy diferente a todo lo que habíamos estado en Tailandia, fue una super experiencia, el entorno es una maravilla, super tranquilo. Tienes que saber a que vienes porque hay insectos y animales pero la relación calidad precio esta muy bien. El Restaurante es una pasada, todo muy bueno y tienen abierto todo el día. También hay opción de hacer diferentes actividades, no son baratas pero por ejemplo la bajada por el rio es un must, nuestro guía Feli fue el mejor. Tambien nos organizaron diferentes transfers y siempre con ganas de ayudar, fueron muy amables. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo.

Todo se paga en cash, para llevar suficiente dinero porque con el restaurante y las actividades acaba sumando

Fabulous location right in the jungle a true jungle experience.

My family of 6 (4 of whom are teenagers) stayed at Riverside Cottages. From the moment we stepped off the train (and a driver met us to take us there) until the last minute of our stay, everything was extremely well organized, coordinated, flexible, and smooth. The staff were exceptionally friendly and great at their jobs. We decided to do the elephant experience and a lake tour. Both were very well planned and super fun! I’d definitely recommend it for families. And the geckos in the room was part of the jungle experience!

L'hotel est très charmant, vous immerse vraiment dans l'ambiance de la jungle. Le bruit de la jungle le soir rend l'experience agréable. Le personnel est gentil et à votre écoute. Les prix du restaurant de l'hôtel sont très abordables à notre grande surprise.

L'entrée du parc national est comme même loin de l'hotel, soit environ presque 1h en navette. L'emplacement est assez isolé, ainsi il y a aucun commerce aux alentours de type resto ou magasin, une chance que le resto de l'hotel est très bon et que les prix y sont abordables.

Best stay we’ve had so far! The staff were amazing and welcome like family. The restaurant was amazing food with a great selection, they knew what we would order by the end of our stay. It was very close to the main strip of khao sok and offered a free shuttle to get there. The highlight of our stay was being able to have a room in the rainforest, sitting on the balcony and being able to see Water monitors, geckos, monkeys, snakes etc. It was so different and authentic. We done the full day rainforest trek with a guide, it was the best thing we’ve done so far. Lek our guide was amazing, he took his time teaching us a lot and went out of his way to explain and look for everything, we got to see and try so much whilst on our trek. He was a gentleman! Make sure to go when you go to Khao Sok!

Coole Lage direkt am Fluss, umgeben von Dschungel. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man für einen kleinen Markt oder andere Essensmöglichkeiten als das Hotelrestaurant mit dem Shuttle in die Stadt fahren muss.

Estás en el medio de la jungla literal, lindo restaurante al lado del rio, y lugar perfecto para relajar y hacer actividades al aire libre.

Si no alquilaste moto o auto estás un poco limitando, esta cerca de algunos lugares, pero mejor moverse personalmente. Igualmente el hotel ofrece transportes diarios que vienen incluidos con el precio

Staff were so lovely and helpful. Such an amazing experience, would definitely recommend the full day lake tour we had so much fun.

Está integrado en la naturaleza. Con pequeñas cabañas en las que te sientes en mitad de la selva. En el resort tienen de todo, comida desayuno y cena y opciones para tomar algo. Además también ofrecen excursiones y está muy bien relación calidad - precio.

Si tuviera que decir algo la humedad es extrema. No hay aire acondicionado y todo se siente un poco mojado pero es parte de la experiencia:)

Estaba en medio de la naturaleza

No me gusto que hemos estado despiertos cada noche por los guekos que entraban en la cabaña. Si se les puede llamar guekos, porque tenían la medida de un gato. Pero quien quiere jungla pues es lo que hay, a adaptarse 🤣

Endroit magnifique au coeur de la jungle. La vue du restaurant est magique, jusqu'aux petites lucioles le soir. Le personnel est adorable, très attentionné, très chaleureux et souriant. Les activités sont supers. Merci infiniment.

Nous avons malheureusement eu une semaine entière de pluie battante. Le toit en taule ne nous a pas aidé à nous reposer. Le bungalow était très humide, toutes nos affaires et les draps l'étaient également. Heureusement ils disposent d'un service de laundry.

Wonderful setting as we really felt immersed in nature. The bungalows are fairly basic, as you would expect, but had everything we needed. There was no air con, but we were fine with the large fan that was provided. The staff are very helpful and the onsite restaurant very good. It is out of the main 'village' but they provided shuttle buses to collect and take us to the bus stop. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Amazing jungle experience

Absolutely stunning location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great food and beautiful once-in-a-lifetime-location. Great sense of community. The jungle by night is amazing. The lake is great if you wish to cool off and go for a swim. Did I already mention the food is great?

No airconditioning in the room, though it was doable with the ventilators. :) You are quite dependent on the staff to bring you to the village. But that is not necessarily a bad thing! The staff is very friendly and will go beyond their ways to help you and make your stay smooth!

Die Anlage liegt komplett im Dschungel – mit einzelnen, liebevoll eingerichteten Bungalows mitten in der Natur. Einfach herrlich und ein perfekter Ort, um im Einklang mit der Natur zu entspannen. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und jederzeit zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen war hervorragend – sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen haben uns begeistert. Besonders praktisch waren die angebotenen Touren und der Shuttle-Service. Man musste keine externen Anbieter wie GetYourGuide buchen, da alles perfekt vom Riverside-Team organisiert wurde – inklusive Transfers in die Stadt und zu den Ausflügen. Wir waren rundum begeistert und vollkommen zufrieden. Absolute Weiterempfehlung!

Le restaurant ferme un peu trop tôt le soir (20h30).

Die Natur hier war einfach traumhaft. Ringsherum Natur und somit auch die vorhandenen Geräusche. Wir wollten unbedingt einen Ort, an dem wir entspannen können und das hat diese Unterkunft geschafft. Außerdem sehr nettes Personal, welches sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich war. Alle paar Stunden konnte man ohne Aufpreis ins Village oder zur Busstation gebracht werden. Am Abreise Tag wurden wir sogar zu einer genauen Adresse im Village gebracht auf Nachfrage vom Personal. Also allem in allem wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und wir kommen sehr gern wieder!!!

Nicht gefallen können wir nicht sagen. Es hat nur beide Nächte die wir da waren stark geregnet, wodurch es in der Nacht aufgrund des Wellblechdachs laut wurde. Für die beiden Nächte hat es nicht weiter gestört. Ansonsten waren wir leider ein wenig enttäuscht, von einem empfohlenen Ausflug. Wir haben ein Bamboo Dinner auf einer Farm gebucht, welches uns ca. 50€ gekostet hat. Vor Ort angekommen, wurden wir ganz kurz herumgeführt im Garten mit Erklärung der Kräuter und danach konnten wir uns schon setzen und haben 4 Bambusrohre mit Essen bekommen. Trinken mussten wir vor Ort übrigens auch noch extra bezahlen (nicht gerade billig). Das war’s. Für 50€ waren wir da doch schon wirklich sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben keine Erklärung bekommen, was genau wir da essen bzw. wie das Gericht heißt und auch sonst nichts. Essen leider auch nichts was einen geschmacklich umgehauen hat. Wir saßen beim Essen, während der Farmer mit Freunden am Tisch nebenan saß und Bier trank und rauchte. Wirklich schade, das für dieses Geld nicht mehr geboten wurde ..

Super agréable d’être dans la nature, on voyait des singes au petit déjeuner et au dîner. La nourriture était très bonne et le personnel très gentil. Pouvoir aller se baigner dans le courant d’eau à côté, mais si j’ai préféré le coin avant l’hôtel que la « plage » à l’intérieur plein d’algues. Malheureusement l’eau était chaude donc ça ne refroidissait que légèrement.

Pas de clim. Je m’y attendais au côté « forêt et insectes » mais 3 jours sous 40 degrés avec aucuns vrais moments pour se refroidir et des moustiques à tout endroit même dans sa chambre.. c’était dur. Le toit ne ferme pas complètement donc la moustiquaire est obligatoire, sauf qu’à deux adultes plus un bébés dans un lit double c’est clairement serré. Les activités sont sympa mais pas dépaysante au final, ville à côté très touristique. Le tour que nous avions choisis avec l’hôtel dont une nuit sur les maisons flottantes est clairement touristique à 100%. Le lac en lui même n’est pas naturel. C’est bien dommage. On reste sur notre faim.

Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We kwamen laat aan en vertrokken vroeg naar de jungle. Het ontbijt was goed. Ze hielpen met het boeken van de ferry en het vervoer vanaf de Dam naar donsak pier. Piekfijn geregeld.

Effe cultuurschok met insecten en open plankieren in de huisjes waar dieren in en uit kunnen. Maar wel klamboe voorradig.

Khao Sok Riverside Cottages est une merveille. Les chambres sont magnifiques, confortables (le lit est de très bonne qualité), bien décorées et assez isolées pour ne pas être incommodés par les autres voyageurs. Les petites terrasses avec hamacs donnent directement sur la jungle, la vue est saisissante. Les passerelles qui jalonnent tout l'endroit pour pouvoir se déplacer dans cette mer de plantes donnent un cachet tout à fait unique au lieu. Le restaurant, au bord de la rivière (on peut y voir des singes à quelques mètres à peine de la table où l'on mange), est de très bonne qualité et le personnel est exemplaire : accueillant, souriant, discret. Ils organisent des excursions à un prix intéressant et répondent à toutes vos questions. Rien à redire, c'était parfait.

Hotel jest pięknie położony wśród roślinności i natury, dzięki czemu można naprawdę odpocząć i cieszyć się spokojem. Sam obiekt robi bardzo dobre wrażenie wizualnie. Najbardziej podobał nam się 2-godzinny spływ canoe – to była zdecydowanie najlepsza atrakcja całego pobytu.

Minusem był brak śniadań w cenie oraz zależność od hotelowego transportu, jeśli chodzi o dojazd do miasta oddalonego o około 5,8 km. Ostatni bus hotelowy odjeżdżał o 18:00 i wracał o 20.00. Udało nam się znaleźć w mieście prywatny powrót za 200 thb. Dodatkowo hotel ustala godziny transportu, np. na lotnisko, ale jednocześnie czeka na spóźnialskich gości, którzy często nawet nie jechali na lotnisko i nie byli pod presją czasu. Była to bardzo stresująca sytuacja, która zepsuła nam końcówkę pobytu i pokazała, że nie warto być całkowicie zależnym od hotelowej organizacji transportu. Ponadto wycieczka nad jezioro z dżunglą ( oferowana przez hotel) okazała się bardzo komercyjna i typowo turystyczna. Liczyliśmy na prawdziwy trekking, a była to jedynie około 20-minutowa ścieżka, którą niektórzy pokonywali nawet w klapkach. Zdecydowanie lepiej poszukać bardziej kameralnych i autentycznych wycieczek poza hotelem. Muszę też dodać, że pokój był sprzątany jedynie powierzchownie. Pod łóżkiem widoczne cudze skarpetki oraz fruwające kłębki kurzu.

We loved our stay at the Riverside Cottage ! The bungalow, the view and the setting of the hotel, everything was amazing. The staff was lovely and caring, special greetings to Sao and her thoughful advices.

Midden in de natuur! We hadden een huisje met vijf bedden. Heel ruim! Wakker worden met jungle geluiden. Leuk restaurant. Heel vriendelijke mensen die daar werken. Via hen 2-daagse trip geboekt naar the lake met overnachting op het water. Heel leuk! Goede service.

Sehr schöne Anlage mit viel Natur um einen rum. Nettes und gutes Restaurant direkt dabei. Touren können vor Ort gebucht werden.

Die Lage, das Essen (probiert den Mixed-Fruit Shake😇) und das Personal waren echt super. Das Essen ist ein bisschen teurer, aber bei der Lage natürlich nachvollziehbar. Wir haben unten am Fluss ca. 30 Makaken 🐒 gesehen, die dort gespielt und gebadet haben, echt beeindruckend. Man kann in der Unterkunft verschiedene Touren buchen. Wir haben uns für die Elephant Experience und die Night Safari entschieden. Elephant Experience war eine 10/10! Die Night Safari hat uns nicht so gefallen, wir hatten kein Glück mit den Tieren (lediglich ein paar Spinnen und Skorpione und eine Schlange in der Ferne) und der Tour Guide war sehr hektisch. Aber das ist natürlich auch Ansichtssache. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% empfehlen.

Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es eine Baustelle, der Lärm war echt stark.

I asked through this place to make me a one-night booking in the houses in the water (this typical experience): that's when I feel that they failed me - very beautiful yes! But very expensive for the quality they offer ~ I liked it, but the value has to be more reduced for what they offer! Not very luxurious experience for the luxurious price they ask ~ it's a local experience. Only that. Is good, as I said, but not for the price they ask.

1. 早上10点之后真的是太热了，房间里比外面热很多，很聚热，而且虽然有2个风扇，但是越吹越热，还没空调 2. wifi真的不是很好，一开始整个下午房间周围的3个wifi都不能用，能连但是没有信号，想上网就要去餐厅，直到晚上8点多断电几分钟重启了下路由器，才算勉强连上网（只要在这个酒店里，自己的手机连信号都没，所以房间如果没wifi真的很要命） 3. 房间整体是干净的，但是床上真的很有很多碎屑，灰尘小沙子的感觉，特别是枕头上，可能是蚊帐上掉下来的还是哪里，反正我看到这样的床面，心里有点膈应

Staying at Khao Sok Riverside Cottages was, without exaggeration, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is the kind of place where the concept of “jungle immersion” truly comes to life. You don’t just visit nature, you feel part of it. From the very first moment, the team stood out for their genuine hospitality. Every single person we interacted with was attentive, professional, and clearly committed to creating a memorable stay. There’s a natural warmth in the way they welcome and assist guests, always available without ever being intrusive. One detail we really appreciated was how easy it was to plan activities. Both at check-in and in the room, there’s a well-organised menu of tours, making it simple to choose experiences without feeling overwhelmed or disconnected due to the remote setting. We joined the Cheow Lan Lake tour, which is an absolute must in the area, and it exceeded expectations in every way — from the dramatic limestone cliffs to the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. But our favorite was on the afternoon of our arrival, we also did a canoe trip down the Sok River, a calm and immersive experience that allowed us to truly connect with the surroundings. What made it even more special was the wildlife. Being able to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, hear the constant soundtrack of the jungle, and take in the richness of the flora made everything feel raw and authentic. It’s rare to find a place that offers this level of connection with nature while still delivering comfort and thoughtful service. Without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences we had in Thailand.

La cadre en pleine nature tout comme l’environnement. Le staff est vraiment sympa et accueillant, sans en faire trop. Le restaurant est très bon, bcp d’activités proposées.

Le fait de devoir tout payer en cash au moment du Check out (repas, boissons, activités). On perd un peu la notion et on peut se retrouve avec des surprises.
