Very cute little place will be coming back

You get what you paid for. It's convenient for an overnight stay. We stayed in a pet friendly bungalow. It was clean and fresh, but very small. It had a queen bed which was hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were hard and flat. It had a small shower stall in the bathroom.

While the property is quaint, it is desperately in need of a renovation. Half of the plug ins wouldn’t charge a phone, interior is old and tired and needs a deep clean to bring it back to its glory. WIFI didn’t work in cabin 18. In room coffee is not good. You can purchase coffee in the lobby but only once they open at 9am. Coffee is ok, but not the best. Go to the Painted Turtle restaurant for a memorable breakfast!

Pool

The place was very safe and quiet, clean and the restaurant on site was an added benefit! The food was very good and fresh as well. Cabins need updating, but they were equipped with everything you need. We stayed only one night in the cabin.

Delightful property and staff. Room was huge, half a duplex with two bedrooms and kitchenette. Room was a bit tired, mattress could use an upgrade. But reno’s are happening, new flooring, new tub/shower and everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were excellent in resort and restaurant. Great pool, nice pond with gazebo. Grounds were nice, campground looked comfortable.

Third time staying here. Enjoyed every time. Nice people, clean room, comfortable beds. Just wish the people upstairs would be quieter.

Aside from family friendly. Pet friendly is excellent.

Great value, best we have found in Canada so far. Beautiful surrounds. Lovely and quiet. Sat outside till dark reading and drinking coffee, that’s what a holiday is about. So peaceful.

It was family friendly, it was great for our friends kids, the staff was friendly… we will be staying there again, that was our 2 nd time staying there

The restaurant was very good, My meal was all prepared onsite from scratch and was comfort food delicious. I'd recommend going there to eat if you're ever in Clearwater.

Large room

From check in to check out i had a great time. The place isnt perfect but for the price you cant complain. The onsite restaurant was good with decent prices. Theyve got a pool table and two arcade games to play on. Pool was good.

Nice little place, rooms are separate cottages, very quiet, clean comfortable rooms. Has a fountain in a pond thats ringed by the cottages.

Room advertised as sleeps 3 but only one bed and no option of a cot or pull out couch. Bungalows do have AC which is a plus.

It needed to be updated, especially the beds, but clean and convenient.

The ptoperty is too olddated for the money. There is no breakfasts offered, the town is small enough to have cafes. Timmys is the only one. Playground is a mass, my kids did want to play there. Averall is a good place if you need to spent a night.

Great location to access Wells Gray Provincial Park

Lots of things for the kids to do. The family suite was perfect for our family of 5. AC was nice on a super hot day. The grounds were really beautiful and the "resident" geese were fun for the kids!!

Place was clean and good price!

The fridge door handle was broken, the fridge selves was broken, one of the bed was broken, one of the garbage was taken away for no reason, bathroom light was left on by the cleaning staff, one of the cleaning staff didnt lock the room well we was out, my girlfriend stabbed her heel on something sharp on the bed, a beer can and some nuts was left in the room from the people before us, the kitchen was so slow we just left, the servers you had at the restaurant took 30 minutes to take an order (the restaurant wasnt even full), like i get it'a a cheap hotel, but even my most minimum of expectation of just safe room to sleep in, and staff that can do basic work seemed to be too much.

Older but super clean and comfortable and the restaurant is great lots of selection and quality Will be staying here again and recommending to friends

We liked the different stay options and the pool. Some of us camped and thought another toilet solution would be good for the campers, some of the listed amentities were not available, and access to the lake would be amazing. The trails and waterfalls around were stunning, and the staff seemed friendly. We stayed in a family suite and it was adequate. Thank you

A great spot

Very roomy cabin , clean, quiet and comfortable!

Our first impression driving in was mixed but after seeing the rest of the grounds, meeting the staff and seeing our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very accommodating and we enjoyed our 1 night stay.

It was pretty basic.

When we arrive I wished to watch the nhl final play off game. The tv wouldnt work. The desk managed to get someone to replace it. It only worked for one night then was stuck on one channel When we returned the last night there was a note on our door saying we were supposed to have checked out, not very impressive. Yes the desk fixed the problem, and replace the coffee pods I had requested in the morning.

Predominantly a campsite with some additional rooms available. Good location close to a few restaurants/cafes and shops and easy access to the waterfalls. Spacious rooms, but a bit tired and dated. Unlike most other places quiet time is a bit later (11pm), less ideal if you have young children.

Was exactly as advertised. Good value and great staff. Restaurant was very good too.

The separate cabin was great for our needs and very quiet. We will stay again.

What a cute little spot! It’s right close to the arena as that’s why we are always in Clearwater. This will always be our go to place when we need to spend nights.

Everybody was really friendly and nice and I like that. It’s also a campground.

The property looks like it would be a very nice place to enjoy some time in the summer. Check-in went well even though I was a little later than planned. The restaurant was unfortunately under repair but looks like it will be nice once completed.

Very quiet and private in November! Some individual cabins. Would definitely stay again!

This was a quick overnight for us. We liked that there were enough beds for the whole family in one room and that it was cost effective.

Was looking for a decent hotel for a good price for a quick work trip to Clearwater, and this place delivered. Great pub onsite, cabins are nice and cozy, pond with fountain was a nice feature. Looking forward to coming back in the summer to experience the pool and mini golf.

Overall gd experience. Only the bed is way too soft for me. Not recommended for people with back pain issues.

Loved the cabin overlooking the fountain. Wish it had been warmer to go in the pool. Restaurant was close and good was good. Thanks for the piano entertainment. Overall it was a nice cabin to stay at.

We had a wonderful time this year at Clearwater Valley Resort! Our room was clean and comfy, the resort had things to entertain the kids and they really enjoyed the stay, asking if we can come back again! We camped last time and had a wonderful experience then aswell. Im sure well be back again!

Clean, but facilities are outdated

This property is quite unique. It has an RV resort and a motel like rooms. We stayined in a very unique building. We had the whole bottom floor. It was perfect for the 3 of us because it had 2 rooms. The main room had the king bed and in the seperate room were a queen and a twin bed. This works for us, as I snore quite loud. The room also had a kitchenette. The outdoor property is gorgeous. There were flowers growing on our deck and right outside our front door was a pond, complete with a gazebo like building in the centre. It will be perfect for outdoor gatherings. There is full retaraunt and an ice cream parlor. I couldnt believe how reasonabley priced our short stay was. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Sofa bed was disgusting. Should be thrown away and replaced. TV did not work. Went to front desk in the morning but they don't open until 9am. The grounds were nice.

This property is a campground/cabin-type rentals in Clearwater. There are a few restaurant options within walking distance. It’s just off of the main highway tucked into the trees. 10km up the road is a waterfall hike. Price was higher booking with Expedia than if booking direct.

The Clearwater Valley Resort is a beautiful, and well taken care of place. I absolutely loved my stay, and the staff were all excellent, especially those at the restaurant! Thoroughly recommend!

it has many amenities, Owner was helpful about alternative accomodation as Jasper is closed. Gave lots of recommendations about nearby Falls, worth hiking. DOing its best to help in anything

We were pleasantly surprised we stayed in the cabins ( family room ) was a great weekend stay as we attended a wedding. The kids had plenty to do with good pool /Golf / park all very nice. It was safe and the staff were very helpful and friendly. On site restaurant lunch and dinner was good. We will come back :)

Perfect for an overnight stay. Lacking a few comforts if staying longer with a large family. Walking disance to grocery store and other conveniences.

The room we stayed in seemed to have a lot of problems, plus it hadn’t been renovated/upgraded in quite some time. The shower didn’t work very well. It was challenging to find the right temperature and then it squealed at you the whole time it was running. The coffee maker didn’t work at all, so staff gave me a new one, which worked, but then they didn’t restock our room supplies. We were missed for housekeeping one day all together. It was challenging to charge our devices when we were there because everything we plugged in would fall right out.

The place is as described in your booking. Nothing special, but the accomodation was fine and it is nice that there is a swimming pool. It is also on the road to Wells Gray Provincial Park, therefore the location is good (also next to the visitor's centre).

This property is away from the busy world but close enough for a morning coffee.

Great place to stay and cool off in the pool after a beautiful couple days exploring Wells Grey Park and Clearwater area

We are dinner in the restaurant and the service and food was really good. Property is older but maintained well. Staff were all very accommodating and friendly

It was a very hot day. So when we arrive just before 9:30pm , we expected to have a nice cooled room. That didn't happened. The air conditioner was not even plugged in. So it took aboutan hour and a half for the room to get cool enough to sleep. Also the air conditioner is right beside the bed and was extremely noisy.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one night but it was a great place to rest after a day of driving. Will be back to explore more!!

When we checked in, front desk was very accommodating. They made my stay more convenient so i didn't have to do much walking to get to my room. They mentioned the dining room and said it had the best food in town. So my room cost $126 for the night all in. We went to our room , where there was a ponytail elastic on the floor from some other guest, there was black soil on the bathroom floor and the baseboard needed washing.. We then went for dinner, in their dining room. Boy what a mistake. We both ordered the special which was the beef dip sandwich. I asks for fries, my husband had the chowder. My husband had to go to the bar and ask for a refill on our drinks as the staff was standing around giggling with each other. Then it was over an hour before we got our dinner, but we could watch the kitchen staff eating food while preparing our food. All in all if that was the best food in town, I feel sorry for the rest of the town.

The property needs more cleaning and updating. I like that the bungalows face the pond and fountain. Restaurant on site but the food was not that good. French fries seemed to have been cooked in old oil as they were soggy and tasteless. But I am still planning on returning next year and staying in a bigger bungalow. Love all the trees on site..site has a pool, mini golf and plenty of space for parking.

Great little place!

As long as they continue to upgrade and complete updating the resort , it will be a great spot to stay in future .

Beautiful cabin be the lake. It would have been good if there were some hooks and shelves in the room and bathroom so we can neatly place some of our clothes and gear. It would have been great to have a screen door so we can keep the door open and enjoy the pond and the grass in front of the cabin. We had to keep to door close because of mosquitos and the room was dark and not very pleasant with the closed door.

We have stayed at this resort about 4 times now due to the fact they are pet friendly . The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The grounds and rooms are clean and the restaurant food is excellent.

Having a bungalow was awesome, no noise from other guests moving up/down halls, no adjoining room noise. A nice change for sure. The onsite restaurant has a large menu and our experience was pleasurable.

Lots of space.Low key.

Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the pool but just there for 13 hours. Stayed in a cute basic cabin right by the pond. The T.V. turned on but had no programming and the shower's hot water only lasted long enough for one person to get soaped up (cold rinse). We were double charged but the friendly staff was quick to rectify the problem.

Loved the setting of the resort. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
