Our aircon didn't work properly.

השהייה שלנו במלון הייתה חוויה מצוינת ומיוחדת. • החדר היה מרווח, נקי מאוד, מסודר ונעים. • הצוות מעולה – אדיב, מקצועי, שירותי ותמיד מוכן לעזור. • השירות ברמה גבוהה מאוד, ממש מושלם. • הבריכה מסודרת, מטופחת ונקייה מאוד. • המלון עצמו מרשים מאוד מבחינה עיצובית, וכבר מהרגע שנכנסים אליו מרגישים אווירה מיוחדת ושונה. • המסעדה על המים פשוט מדהימה. המיקום והאווירה הופכים את הארוחה לחוויה בפני עצמה, והאוכל היה מעולה. • ארוחת הבוקר עשירה, מגוונת וטעימה מאוד. • הספא מרשים ביותר, מטופח ומשרה אווירה רגועה ומפנקת. • רמת הניקיון בכל מתקני המלון גבוהה מאוד, וזה מורגש בכל מקום. • שירות החדרים מצוין, מקצועי ויעיל. בסך הכול, מלון מרשים מאוד שמצליח לשלב שירות מצוין, ניקיון ברמה גבוהה, מתקנים נהדרים ואווירה מיוחדת. נהנינו מאוד מהשהייה.

יש כמה דברים שחשוב לדעת לפני שמגיעים למלון: • המלון נמצא ממש בחיק הטבע, ולכן באופן טבעי יש באזור חרקים ולעיתים גם זוחלים. למי שחושש מהם, מומלץ מאוד להקפיד שלא להשאיר דלתות או חלונות פתוחים. • חשוב להדגיש שבמהלך השהייה שלנו לא נכנסו חרקים לחדר. עם זאת, כאשר מסתובבים בשטח המלון ניתן לראות מדי פעם חרקים על הקירות או על הרצפה, דבר שצריך לקחת בחשבון כשמדובר במלון שנמצא בסביבה טבעית. • הלובי אינו ממוזג. מבחינתנו, בגלל החום והלחות, הדבר היה פחות נוח ולכן העדפנו שלא לשהות בו מעבר לנדרש. • נקודה נוספת שטעונה שיפור היא עוצמת זרם המים במקלחת. הזרם היה חלש יחסית, ולדעתי במלון ברמה כזאת ראוי לשפר זאת. בסך הכול, אלו נקודות שכדאי להכיר מראש, במיוחד למי שרגיש לחום או חושש מחרקים וזוחלים.

צוות המלון מקסים. המלון במיקום טוב לטיולים. ארוחת בוקר עשירה. חדר מאוד מאוד גדול.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Everything was kept remarkably clean, tidy, and well-maintained. The kids had an absolute blast spending hours playing in the pool!

The ambience is good, close to River Kwai. Surrounded by nature. Very relaxed.

Food was not bad but could be better. But it’s not a big deal.

Beautiful gardens with mature healthy trees, lovely pool, fun to feed the rabbits with young kids. The view over the river was delightful.

It was away from the town so a little removed from the action. The rooms could do with a bit of a spruce up. Pool cloudy some days.

Pool was very very dirty Very under stuffed and not helpful (didn’t want to help with reservation to restaurant) not very friendly, didn’t allow more towels for showers The worst hospitality we had in Thailand and the accommodation very old Room service end at 21:30 which is too early

אהבתי את החדרים המרווחים ארוחת בוקר היתה נחמדה לצמחוניים טיגנו את החביתות מחוץ לחדר האוכל כך שלא היה ריח מסריח בחדר האוכל

הרשימה ארוכה מאד הגענו לבית המלון אחר מסע מפרך בשעה 22 בלילה עם ילדים קטנים לא עזרו לנו להעביר מזוודות לחדרים. ביקשנו מגבת נוספת כמספר האורחים ששוהים בחדר לצערי בקשתנו לא אושרה אבל אישרו לנו להחליף במגבת לאחר שימוש כך שנאלצנו להמתין לחדרנית שתגיע להחליף את המגבת. וכך בכל השהות שלנו למרות ששילמנו כמיטב כספנו על מספר האורחים בחדרים ששכרנו כנדרש. החדרים מרווחים ונקיים אבל לצערי השירותים בחדר לא נקיים. לא הוסיפו נייר טואלט כשנגמר. פשוט אין שירותיות אין רצון לחוויה טובה ללקוח. הבריכה לא נקייה ברמת ביצה. אי אפשר להתקרב לבריכה וכנראה שלא רק אנחנו הבחנו במפגע הזה אף אחד לא נכנס לבריכה במהלך השהות שלנו במלון מקרב אורחי המלון. ביום האחרון שלנו אחרי מספר ימי שהות החלו עבודות ניקיון בבריכה. כשקיבלנו את החדרים קיבלנו 4 מפתחות ואחד מהם התברר כלא תקין - אחד מעובדי הצוות לקח את המפתח כדי לתקן , הוא לא החזיר ולנו זה לא הפריע כשעשינו צ׳ק אווט נדרשנו לשלם 300 באט עבור המפתח…. החסר! שלקחו לנו ולא היה תקין! אין שירותי מזוודות גם ביציאה המלון לא נגיש בכלל לא ממליצה למשפחות בכלל אין משחקייה אין בריכה תקינה ארוחת בוקר נחמדה הרבה זבובים פגשנו בנחש יש במלון לול תרנגולות נחמד יש ארנבים בכלוב וגינת ירק. המלון ממוקם על הנהר אבל לא קרוב לשום דבר צריך הסעה לכל כיוון

Lo stile coloniale della struttura ed il giardino ricco e curato.

La struttura è vecchia e sente il peso del tempo che passa. Dovrebbe essere rinfrescata e rinnovata anche nel mobilio. Lo staff non è assolutamente all’altezza di un cinque stelle sia nella formazione che nella quantità. Alcuni neanche parlavano in inglese ed hanno comunicato con noi tramite app di traduzione. La spa inadeguata per un 5 stelle. Camere da rinnovare. Addirittura c’erano delle slippers già usate. La doccia della piscina che perdeva acqua da tutte le parti.

The pool, the room was comfortable and big size and well decorative. I liked the style. The breakfast was good as well. Qute rabbits.

To extend the bar menu, or at least to have what is written. The cleaning of the pool, or the water condition become bad after few days. The feeting room is OK but the AC is not working well, the team knows and do nothing about it.

Très agréable avec beau jardin et piscine. Chambres spacieuses. Petit déjeuner super. Un joli restaurant sur la rivière.

Sur 2 restaurants 1 de ferme( le principal) . Obligé d aller au restaurant plus cher ou faire ses courses au 7 eleven .

Beautiful old building and grounds, lovely pool with swim up bar.

The rooms are made of wood and due to the humidity everything smells of damp. Putting the aircon on masks it a little but you cant air the rooms properly as it would let in all the mosquitoes. We booked one king room and one twin room for 3 occupants however were charged again for the third bed in that room on arrival. We were given connecting rooms which was nice. But the king room was actually a twin room with beds pushed together so two small separate headboards, only one bedside table etc. Place feels like its run by teenagers (who do everything they can to help despite the invisible management). We pre-booked a driver and a picnic for one day - they never replied so it was sorted and had to be rushed. Sandwiches sent out in 30+ heat without ice or coolbox. Its those kind of things you expect from 5* that are missing here. A lot is on the management who make it look beautiful but miss out on the substance.

The maintenance of the hotel is very poor. And one room to shower get flow and the other the toilet cannot flashed. hotel staff fix those issues immediately.

הצוות חצוף ולא שירותי. נכנסנו לבריכה ב18 שהיתה אמורה להיות עד 20.. ואין מגבות בריכה לדבריהם נגמר להיום. קפאנו בנוסף עשו תרגיל וגבו כסף על כרטיס חדר שלדבריהם נתנו לנו ולא החזרנו. קיבלנו 3 והחזרנו 3. חדרים מאוד מיושנים , חדר מקלחת רקוב. אין כלום ליד המלון והכל חשוך

Beetje verouderd

Het resort ligt op een erg rustige plek aan een mooie rivier. De kamer was netjes en werd goed schoongemaakt. Personeel is erg vriendelijk. Ontbijt was elke ochtend goed verzorgd en erg uitgebreid. De poolbar is open tot half 7 waardoor je daar nog kan eten kan bestellen. Hotelkamer was groot, had een bad en een douche. Bed was aan de harde kant maar dat heb je vaker in Thailand.

We raden je aan om een auto te huren of scooter om zelf wat meer flexibel te zijn. Op loopafstand zit geen winkel o.i.d. je moet daarvoor dan wel echt een grab of taxi via het resort regelen. Avondeten kan op het resort maar alleen in het restaurant aan het water. Wil je minder chique eten moet je de stad in!

Het is een prachtig resort wat veel luxe uitstraalt en ook een heel mooi en leuk gevormd groot zwembad ! De kamers zijn erg groot en mooi.

Gladde vloeren op de kamer. Wij misten een keukentje (wisten wel dat die r niet zou zijn) het restaurant in de avond oogde erg leeg en verder was er niks in de buurt, dus wij hebben een Grab voor/met eten besteld, dat ging prima maar qua opeten op de kamer was het even behelpen.

The hotel is beautiful. The familey room was big with a gteat balcony. The pool is amazing and the athmosphire is chill and great. Also the resturant on the river is amazing laxuary food and price in not high. Staff is always smilling. Near the pool there are few rabbitts that kids cpcan feed.

At the shower the shampoo was in a ceramic box and when i took a shower it fell and broke. They charged us 600 baht for the box. Aldo the toilet in the room were flowted.

The hotel surrounding is so peaceful and green, next to the river with beautiful gardening. The rooms are wide and clean, the staff was lovely and helpful, they also helped us to book drivers to our daily treeps.

The hotel is a bit far from the city, so you need a taxi/Grab to any wherever outside of the hotel.

Superb!

Great views from rice barrage restaurant, nice treehouse and pool for kids as well as rabbit feeding.

It’s dated- has so much potential but I would definitely not call it 5 star as it currently stands. Aircon took 24 hours to cool the room. There were cockroaches everywhere in the room. Staff were very limited and one staff member was running around for all guests. Beds were very uncomfortable - mattress was not good. Breakfast was also basic.

Schönes Hotel, sehr ruhig am Fluss gelegen. Bequeme Betten und nettes Personal. Wir konnten problemlos das Zimmer wechseln, weil wir keine Durchgangstüre wollten.

Leider ist das Frühstück für ein solches Hotel eher bescheiden. Das Haus ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber machbar.

Beautiful location next to the river, well-tended gardens, with pleasant pool area. Rooms in colonial style, spacious, pleasantly decorated in style, with floor and fittings in hard woods. Large bathrooms, both shower and bath, with high quality installations and fittings, similar to Oriental hotels. Floating restaurant on the river, with a wide selection of interesting and tasty Thai food, which exceeded expectations. Restaurant staff, and valet staff, friendly, helpful and professional.

Valet staff helpful on arrival. Reception staff inexperienced, with a poor attitude and would clearly benefit from person-centred training. Booking.com summary of room facilities, accessibility, says "Entire unit located on ground floor", and I therefore expected allocation to ground floor on arrival, but was advised the allocated room was on floor 3. A request to move to ground floor was denied (check in was early at 3.30pm, before other guests had arrived.) Information on the Booking platform is clearly incorrect and misleading, a ground floor location is not shown as needing a special request. It is also confusing that the reception floor is on floor 2, not the ground floor. Guests need to be fully aware there are no lifts anywhere on the premises, with parking, rooms, and all facilities a bit of a walk. Except for some wheelchair slopes, the resort is not accessible friendly. Wooden handrails to the stairs between accommodation floors were very dirty from several weeks of neglect, and I arrived for evening meal needing to request water to clean my hands. On return after the meal the handrails had been wiped, but would still benefit from a full clean and polish.

Schöne geräumige Junior-Suit mit 2 Balkonen. Grosser Pool - sollte etwas mehr Liebe in Form von Sauberhalten bekommen. Das Zentrum ist easy mit Grab zu erreichen und kostet nicht viel. Der JJ Nightmarket ist für richtig gutes Streetfood zu empfehlen

No one to carry bags in , no lifts , no pool bar and no main bar in hotel poor location outside of town . Breakfast a disaster no European option no bacon , ham ,cheese or proper sausages highly disappointing

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Rooms are specious and comfortable. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. We spotted some squirrels and lizards running around in the distance which emphasised the feeling of a paradise in the middle of the jungle. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. We extended our stay and will sure be back here again!

No air conditioning in the Lobby, we would have loved to use the space more.

Hotel heeft een prachtige ligging aan de rivier, mooie tuin met zwembad gekoppeld aan een goede infrastructuur en mooie architectuur, ontbijt en kamers waren ok. Het hotel heeft ook een goede locatie kort bij de River Kwai Bridge.

Fantastic continental hotel.

Staff find it difficult to speak English, though they tried to be helpfull. A bit too quiet in the evenings...

We just have not been lucky last time with the pool. It was the maintenance day, can happen... mai pen Rai ! 😀

Tout à l’exception qu’il y avait des paliers pour entrer dans la chambre et aller dans la salle de bain. Comme je suis en fauteuil roulant, ce n’était pas facile. L’établissement devrait adapter une chambre à accès universel dans son établissement. Il y aurait beaucoup de clientèle à mobilité, réduite.

STAFF ! From 1st till last day of our 3 nights stay, didn’t come across a single staff who smiled ! They worked with an unfriendly & unapproachable attitude all through. Didn’t make us feel welcomed at all. Seems like a nice property operating with robots ! Very disappointed.

La piscine est belle mais pas très bien entretenue : il n y a pas de pompes la journée donc avec la chaleur, elle se remplit d algues (eau trouble)

Beautiful spacious colonial buildings and lush gardens full of birds right by the river. The pool is super long, the rooms and beds beautiful and comfortable.

The huge restaurant was totally empty in the evenings so it wasn’t inviting. The small floating restaurant was being renovated, that would have been nice.

The Colonial Style, clean, peaceful quiet and location.

The wonky lamps in the room, a little TLC is needed...but it didn't spoil our stay.

Mooi ruim resort gelegen buiten de stad. De familiekamer was erg ruim (zelfs met extra bed) met een balkon en droogrek. Een fijne badkamer met losse douche en bad. We hebben ook erg genoten van het ontbijt buffet. Ook het zwembad was prima vermaak voor onze kinderen. Onze huurauto kon gemakkelijk op de parkeerplaats van het hotel staan.

Schöne Anlage, großer Pool, kostenfreie überdachte Parkplätze, direkt am Fluss, aber etwas abgelegen.

Poolbar nicht geöffnet, gesamtes Hotel zwar sauber aber an etlichen Stellen besteht Unterhaltungsstau.

L'hôtel est vraiment joli et situé en bord de la rivière Kwai. Le jardin est agréable pour se promener, cela ressemble à un petit coin de paradis. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la terrasse est appréciable. Malgré la proximité avec la rivière nous n'avons pas été trop dérangés par les moustiques car le jardin est régulièrement traité. Le personnel du petit déjeuner et ménage est très sympathique.

Nous avions demandé expressément une chambre pour 4 et en arrivant nous avions seulement une chambre pour 3 avec un pauvre matelas posé au sol (facturé 15€/nuit !). J'ai dû prouver à l'accueil ma réservation. Aussi, la piscine n'était pas impeccable à certains endroits il y avait de la vase à la surface. Enfin, pour un tel hôtel je trouve que le service peut être amélioré, notamment qu'il y ait une personne au bar de la piscine en permanence l'après midi surtout quand il y a du monde à la piscine.

Hôtel très bien décoré avec un magnifique jardin au bord de la rivière. Le personnel est très agréable. La grande piscine à l’eau bien chaude est top!

Magnifique établissement au style British dans un beau parc arboré au bord de la rivière. Chambres très spacieuses et bien équipées. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Lors de notre séjour : aucun serveur au bar de la piscine, ni le soir...dommage, on aurait volontiers pris un verre... Restaurant de l'hôtel sur l'eau dans charme, cher pour qualité. Il faut prendre un taxi pour aller en ville car emplacement excentré. Les installations sont bonnes mais méritent un rafraîchissement. Pas d'ascenseur, point à savoir si vous venez avec une poussette par exemple !
