Super friendly staff, rich breakfast buffet, not far from Roma Termini, the little terrace/balcony attached to the room.

The room fridge and toilet both broke down during my stay (and both were promptly fixed), no shower gel, small room, no arm chair.

Non è la prima volta che alloggio in questa struttura, e sempre mi sono trovato bene, per la gentilezza, pulizia, servizi, comodità, e a due passi dalla stazione Termini, qualità e prezzo sono soddisfacenti, ed ho già pronta una nuova prenotazione per un mio prossimo viaggio a Roma. Vi consiglio di pernottare qui da loro.

Abit further out of town than we understood and the area around the hotel seemed very run down. No coffee making facilities.

Hotel hinter Bahnhof , gut und schnell zu erreichen. Hotel super, Frühstück reichlich im klimatisierten Dachgarten. Personal sehr freundlich. Preis - Leistung gut wir waren 4 Personen und haben den Aufenthalt 5 Tage Rom genossen.

Hotel Garden Palace , der Garten im Hof wurde seit gefühlten Jahren nicht mehr benutzt. Schade

Clean and fully air conditioned made it very welcoming after sightseeing in a very hot and crowded Rome. The 24hr concierge was also very handy and friendly. The breakfast bar was great with plenty of options and really lovely service.

Good location but the walk to and from Termini station at night was a little concerning needed to keep an eye out for pick pockets.

The location of the hotel was very good to access the organisation I had to visit. However getting there from Termini is not very pleasent: The street next to Termini Station is dirty and untidy- not worthy of Roma. The scrambled egg at the breakfast looked too pale - amost entirely white.

Nice hotel - cleaned every day and new bath towels everyday. Breakfast was very nice . A large selection of baked goods - scrambled eggs yoghurt toast etc .

We chose the hotel because of its close proximity to the Rome train station - which was great - however some of the areas around the hotel on the way up the station are quite dodgy with slot of homeless.

Breakfast buffet was less than satisfactory. Canned fruit, prepackaged items and juices served from box containers, undercooked bacon, hard boiled eggs yolks were green and overcooked. The carpets on the stairs look like they have not been vacuumed for months! The door frame of our room is coming apart. My husband and I both nearly broke a toe on the bathroom doorstopper which is anchored to the inside bathroom floor! The one and only trash can in the room is broken. The room furniture is marred and scratched. I know there is no control over how a neighborhood develops over the years, but we felt as if we were in an unsafe area. Buildings defamed with graffiti everywhere, broken glass and trash littering the streets. Just awful! There is no restaurant or bar on site for lunch & dinner or after hour cocktails even though there is a sign on the wall and bar setup. The staff did not give us any information about the area except one desk clerk who told us not to worry about the neighborhood. She gave us vague directions to the main places for restaurants and shopping. We both contracted head colds during this trip so I asked the front desk clerk for a box of tissues for our room, since there was none in our room. She didn't understand what I was referring to. After explaining what we needed, she handed me a stack of paper towels! We also asked for ice and she told us we could purchase some from the mini market across the road because they don't have an ice machine. The exterior condition of the building is atrocious. Paint is peeling off the walls and looks like no one has bothered to clean the years of dirt and residue off the walls. The courtyard fountain is filled with stagnant dirty, rusty water. We paid a great deal of money to stay at this hotel, when we could have stayed anywhere else in Rome, but we chose this one based on claims of it being a place to relax and enjoy. This is false advertising! The only good thing about this place is the smell of jasmine from the garden and the bed was fairly comfortable.

Veramente spartano per essere un 4 stelle. Non c'é nemmeno una bottiglietta d'acqua, per non parlare del caffè.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It would have been better if there was furniture to keep and open the suitcases. The breakfast was simply awesome and filling. The location is not so good. Het hotel is rustig en het ontbijt op het dakterras prima en leuk tussen het groen. Onze fietsen mochten in de tuin staan, heel erg blij mee! Vlak bij het hoofdstation voor ons heel handig.

The room was huge, and once we figured out how to open the shutters, very bright and airy. It wasn't loud at all, and it was a really short walk away from several really nice and friendly food places. All the greenery was beautiful on site too. We thought there might be a balcony in the room from the photos and there wasn't but the seats were right next to the large windows so we didn't miss having one

sicuramente visto che si paga come 4 stelle avrei gradito un bollitore e caffè in camera. Le camere sono modeste e se vai in stazione a piedi passi una via abbastanza degradata e con presenza di senza tetto. Colazione il minimo indispensabile.

Kahvaltısı çok iyidir. Her zevke uygun bol ve kaliteli çeşit ürün vardır. Yatakları süperdi. Kaldığımız oda yeterli büyüklükteydi. Devamlı olarak ortak alanda kahve ve sıcak su olması çok güzel bir ayrıntıydı. Ortadaki bahçede oturmak keyifliydi.

Otel açıkçası biraz eski kalmış. biraz tadilattan geçirilse fena olmaz. konumu süper diyemem. Tren istasyonuna yakın gibi görünse de minimum 15 dk yürüme mesafesindeydi.

The employees are exceptional. The location was good not in the middle of the city but very close to the train station and if you don’t mind a walk you can walk to the colosseum. Restaurant across the street is amazing and a friendly little convenience store as well.

No coffee facilities before 7am and the bar was never open.

A Termini pályaudvar közelsége nagyon kényelmessé tette a 3 napot. A hotel nagyon hangulatos, a belső udvar tele virágokkal, fákkal. A reggeliző helység a tető részben szintén szuper volt. Kedves személyzet, megfelelő reggeli.

I’m not sure I would classify the Ateneo Garden Palace Hotel as a 4 star property. Based on the limited amenities, dated décor, and several in room issues—such as unreliable Wi Fi, poor lighting, and the lack of basic conveniences like a kettle or coffee maker—it felt more in line with a 3 star experience. Room & Décor: Our double standard room was very spacious with high ceilings, which was a positive. Lighting was good in the bathroom and sleeping area, but the middle of the room—around the desk and armoire—was extremely dim. The décor throughout the hotel is noticeably dated, with drapes and furnishings that appear several decades old. In room amenities were minimal: aside from a TV, mini fridge, and safe, there were no coffee or tea options. Bathroom: The bathroom had several maintenance issues. The door scraped heavily against the floor and required force to close. Parts of the shower caulking were blackened, and there was only one hook for bath towels, which were very thin. The hand towel bar was positioned awkwardly low beside the bidet. The faucets were old and difficult to turn. The bathroom had only a bathtub, which felt worn and flimsy—the bottom flexed noticeably underfoot. Noise & Wi Fi: Soundproofing was poor. We could clearly hear voices from the hallway, the adjacent room, and even conversations from the street, suggesting single pane windows. Wi Fi in our room (201) was extremely unreliable. It worked only intermittently near the door, and neither of our laptops could connect at all. We ended up using phone roaming hotspots or relocating to common areas for a stronger signal. Amenities & Common Areas: The hotel has no restaurant, gym, or pool. Although the website mentioned a bar, there was none during our stay in May 2026, which the front desk confirmed. The lounge area near reception is also dated and not particularly inviting. There is no comfortable space to sit and work—common areas consist mainly of oversized vinyl or leather chairs with small side tables, and the lighting at the in room desk was too dim to be functional. Breakfast: Our rate included breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which has glass walls and offered a pleasant setting thanks to the weather. The food selection, however, was underwhelming. There was limited fresh fruit (a few whole apples), and the hot items were limited to lukewarm eggs and overly salty bacon. The buffet did include cereals, yogurt, toast, and pastries, but overall the selection felt modest for a hotel marketed as 4 star.

La atención de la señorita de recepción.

El hotel necesita una remodelación integral. El suelo de la habitación estaba en muy mal estado. El cierre de la contraventana esta roto y remendado con una bolsa de plástico, el enganche de la cortinas roto y remendado con un alambre, no hay zumo de naranja en el desayuno. Un día a las 9.30 se acabaron los huesos revueltos y cuando lo comuniqué la única respuesta fue que se habían terminado, y no cambió cuando dije que aún faltaba media hora para el final del desayuno. El estado de los muebles y cuarto de baño deja mucho que desear. El primer día la ducha no desaguaba bien (asqueroso) lo comuniqué y lo arreglaron. En la bañera había moho. A pesar de que se agotada el champú y el gel, no lo reponían. Contacté antes de llegar vía Booking para que me asesoraran para el transporte desde el aeropuerto, nadie me respondió. Encima la zona está alejada del centro y muy degradada. No debería ser un hotel de 4 estrellas, sólo lo es en el precio.

El desayuno no es bueno. La pastelería toda con sabor artificial. No ofrecen fruta natural preparada para servirse, sólo manzanas, peras y naranjas enteras.. Los huevos revueltos muy malos. Los jugos malos. El desayuno es deficiente.

Cama super dura, desconfortável, Travesseiros ruins, cafe da manha 90% dos itens sao doces, deveria ter mais coisas salgadas. O hotel fica em frente un praça cheia de mendigos, isso dificultou nossas saídas a noite.opte por ficar mais perto da estação, pois esse hotel fica a 20 minutos. Eu optei pelo valor mas não valeu a pena, melhor gastar um pouco mais e focar em frente a estação. Sobre a cama eu passei 4 noites terríveis, dando dormência no corpo por causa do colchão super duro.
