Saigon Amigo Hotel

Didn’t stay at the amigo as the manager gave 3 of our rooms to someone else and didn’t have rooms for myself and 3 of my travelling companions. I informed the manager that this was unacceptable and we booked into the Beautiful hotel approximately 4 or 5 doors away. Three of our travelling companions stayed at the Amigo , and payed, I was billed for the accomodation and it appears he was payed twice for the same rooms. Booking the rooms from Australia was extremely difficult due to a poor understanding/ interpretation of the English language. My companions and I will never set foot in that establishment again. This is a shame as we hav e stayed there numerous times over the last 12 to 15 years.

夜11時の到着となった。シャッターが閉まっていて見た目で探すのが難しかった。またスタッフの手違いで違う部屋に案内されとても悲しい思いをした。すぐに間違いに気づき謝ってくれた。

We changed our standard room because it had no window ( we didn't realize this when booking). This was easy with Vu's help

В условията за резервация пише, че не се начисляват допълнителни такси, но дежурния рецепционист се опита да ми начисли 3% защото ще платя с карта. Показах му какво пише в Букинг. Не взе таксата. Оставам с впечатление, че ако не внимаваш , ще ти вземат по-голяма сума. Което е доста некоректно отношение към гостите на хотела.

ottima posizione, è vicino ai locali per uscire la sera, ai minimarket e a un po' di posti per mangiare, ma rimane comunque in una via laterale silenziosa. le stanze sono buone e la doccia era moderna

per il servizio di lavanderia viene detto che sono 30.000 VND al kilo, ma per due volte abbiamo portato esattamente due kg di roba da lavare e alla riconsegna entrambe le volte ci hanno chiesto 80.000 invece di 60.000. inoltre se tornate tardi la sera la serranda è chiusa e potreste dover suonare il campanello un po' di volte prima che il turnista della notte vi apra

The location was pretty good for us...we liked the alley with food joints on either side. The room was very cozy and comfortable..we felt very relaxed...& of course it was very clean...overall it was perfect for us three friends.

May be you can think of providing ceiling fans also.

We have stayed at this hotel before,so it was good to come back. Great location, Big rooms,great staff and amazing value for money.

Emplacement génial, la terrasse est un plus, la douche est chaude et assez de pression, très propre, ils ont un service de lavage pour 30k/ kg. Pour le prix, je reviendrais sans hésiter.

On entend un peu le bruit la nuit, le wifi n’est pas super fort.

The location was good and easy to find, but be prepared to walk a bit because cars won't fit down the street. The staff were absolutely exceptional - reassured us when we had any and all questions or requests, and were always happy to crack a joke with us. They also received deliveries for me and kept our luggage safe on our check-our date before we headed off to the airport. The room was fairly spacious and the linen smelt very clean and was very comfortable.

The shower was a little bit difficult and uncomfortable to use (squishy, sometimes only lukewarm water, the top showerhead leaked so the water release was not consistent), but otherwise, the place was actually super comfortable! We stayed the night Vietnam won a football competition, and despite all of the noise outside from the celebrations, we weren't actually disturbed that much!

Love this hotel its my third stay in three years It is in a fabulous location in an old French colonial building on a narrow thoroughfare full of life there is a nice park and underground shopping centre at the bottom and the main walking street is near the top All the major attractions are in walking distance from the hotel plus there is a new Metro station aboutc10 minutes walk 🚶‍♂️

Can be a bit noisy at night It would be nice to have Coffee tea and milk supplied in the room I am sure we did before ?

シャワーの排水溝がやや臭いあり、浴室のドアを閉めれば寝室に臭いが来ないので問題なし。 もしかしたら、24時以降はお湯を制限してるかも。

シャワーからお湯が出なかったが季節が暑かったのでやりすごせた　エレベーターがなぜか三階で止まらなかったので階段を使っていたが特にこの点について私たちは問題なしでした

В номере плохо убрано, слабый напор воды в ванной, мыться нормально невозможно, туалетную бумагу и полотенца не меняли. Розетки в ужасном состоянии, страшно ими пользоваться, кондиционер не работает. Меня покусали мошки или клопы в кровати. Это ужасно.

This a lovely hotel run by some very nice helpful people. The room was clean, bed comfortable and a lovely balcony. We did have some problems with the TV and wifi but they were fixed sort of. TV was fine however wifi kept dropping out. This was in room 401 yet our last nite were in room 702 maybe not as good , no balcony but wifi working great. Room 702 also very clean and well maintained . We will be back. The staff are fabulous.

Very central but in a small sideroad. If you get a window room you don't get a view, but you are away frol the street noise.

The staff at Customer service particularly Jay is very much accommodating. The hotel is very much accessible to tourist destination and just a walking distance to hidden cafe offering a buffet eat all you can breakfast at affordable price. Use grab taxi as means of transport since the price is very much affordable.

The double lock of the room was broken though you can still lock the room by door knob lock.For added security, it should be fixed for guest with a fear for just a door knob lock only.

The location was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower is excelent. There is a fridge in the room and a cofffe pot. They provide shampoo.They changed towrls everyday and made the bed and cleaned the rooom.TV works for local chanels.

The room is too small. There was no much space and the bathroom is very thight. The bathroom rug was very dirty and the towels really need an upgrade. The AC does not allow modulation. They gave us a bottle of water, but there is not a supply of water.

The room was big enough for three people. It was clean. The bathing area had enough space. The hotel location was right next to the walking street, restaurants and spas. Cleanliness was also really good.

The room did not have a safe, so had to take our passports and all our valuables with us all the time. Not a deal breaker-but the hotel did not provide complimentary water in the room. However it's available for purchase at just 5k VND in the same alley where the hotel is located

Great location, just steps away from Walking Street and about a kilometer from Bến Thành Market. No complaints about the 'Superior triple room' – spacious, nicely done, and it even had a balcony.

For the airport transfer arranged through the hotel, we ended up paying about 3.5 times more than a regular Grab taxi. Looking back, that didn’t feel very customer-friendly. Feels like there’s an extra profit model behind it. My tip: just book a Grab. When we arrived, the 'Standard Double Room' had a strong sewage smell. They tried to fix it creatively on the spot, but honestly, it wasn’t fully resolved.

My balcony room was spacious and kept clean with daily housekeeping. It had one queen and one single bed. Although the room seemed a little older, it was well-maintained. The staff provided exceptional service – a perfect 10/10. The hotel's location is excellent, right near numerous restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Highly recommended if you value tranquility, safety, cleanliness, and incredibly friendly staff.

The staff were very friendly and the location of the property was very accessible. The hotel room was really clean and the room was quite large compared to hotels I've tried in other Asian countries.

The alleyway outside of the hotel was not super clean but the hotel and its location with respect to nearby attractions and markets made up for it. Short walk away from famous places in HCMC.
