Nice hotel away from the noise and crowds of the center but close enough to walk thereso it was perfect. Great staff, really welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast with plenty of options. We would stay there again!

It is close to Old Town but far enough to not hear all the hustle and bustle. The staff are amazing including but not limited to Sally, Jenni, Lily, Hannah and everyone one else. It is like a second home for me now 😀. The food is really good with a good variety to choose from. I love the place.

La pulizia delle stanze il rifornimento delle stanze come accappatoi o biscottini non venivano mai messe. Il letto della stanza le lenzuola dentro trovavo sporcizia e alla mia lamentela si sono scusate ma mi hanno accusato di fumare in stanza cosa assolutamente non vera mi sono irritata allora mi hanno regalato per scusarsi due massaggi. Colazione scarsa di dolci . Direi che le stelle assegnate alla struttura sono solo per la bellezza e non il livello

The property was located very close to the old town but also in a quiet spot. From the moment we arrived the lovely girls on reception couldn’t do enough for us: they gave us a map, showed us where things were and booked trips for us. We were in a room on the top floor, facing the water, with a little balcony, a big bed and a great walk in shower (some rooms have a shower over a bath). There was lots of choice in the buffet- style breakfast and the hotel also served lunch and dinner. Happy hour was from 4 - 7 and was buy two, get one free. The pool was under the hotel and was refreshingly cool, and there were sun loungers in a shady area. There was also a gym. The property has a spa but we didn’t use it. We loved this place.

Great location within walking distance to the old town, restaurants and shops. Breakfast offers a nice variety, rooms are comfortable and reasonably sized, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The swimming pool is hidden and not accessible. Rooms are not soundproof, so noise from neighboring rooms can be easily heard. Staff language skills could be improved to better support foreign visitors.

We had a fantastic time at Lantana Hotel. The staff were so helpful and accomodating. My wife celebrated her 50th birthday and they made it really special for her. Shout out especially to Jenny and Daisy. You were so amazing!

This hotel is run by attentive & helpful staff - we were on first name terms by the end of the stay. Hotel is superbly located close to the old town proper but far enough away to avoid the noise - and there is noise in Hoi An. A 5 minute walk and you are in all the action whether you want shopping, bars or food. But we had no problem sleeping. Good facilities - pool was good for a dip when needing to cool off in the afternoon heat. Excellent wifi. Great breakfast with a good range of items and a chef for fresh cooked eggs. If in Hoi An again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

My only gripe was not being able to log in to netflix on the TV - the TV wasn't good for english speaking channels. You might say you don't go to Vietnam to watch TV but when you have been sight seeing all morning & it's the afternoon with 35+ degree temperatures outside and 80% humidity it's nice to escape to an air conditioned bedroom & pass the time with a box set!

Lantana is one of the most magical places. The decor is other worldly and the service was next level. All that staff was outstanding - Hanna, Lily, Daisy, Tom and the entire reception team was extremely helpful and every recommendation was exquisite! It was walking distance to everything - and right in the water. I can brag enough - Book it! We are already planning our return trip!!

We absolutely loved this hotel, it is right in the heart of Hoi An with everything you need in walking distance from bars, restaurants, markets, shops etc. We had a balcony with the best view of the river lanterns on the rowboats, it was amazing to see. The staff were exceptional in how they treated us. Daisy, created a display of flowers on our bed to celebrate our wedding anniversary, such lovely attention to detail and was much appreciated. We Felt very welcome by all staff, who went over and above to make your stay the best they could.

The pool area wasn't very inviting, seemed a little worn and old and could do with some TLC.

Not easy for a pram. Many steps. Staff were always ready to help. Bath did not hold the water but showers were powerful. Vegan options for breakfast varied with several salads that would have been wonderful had they not contained fish sauce.

Second time at this hotel, will be coming back for Christmas & New Year. I loved my spacious room overlooking the river, amazing breakfast and reasonable priced cocktails. The staff are friendly and helpful. Miss Sally, the Guest coordinator is super nice and checks up with everyone to make sure a smooth stay. The massage with Ms Nga was truly wonderful that I booked twice during my 3 night stay. Can’t beat the location - it is literally a 3 minute walk to the Japanese bridge.

One of the great hotels of Hoi An, not to be overlooked. We spent 3 wonderful nights here ably supported by a supportive staff headed by wonderful Sally, Jenny and the rest of the incredible staff. A well located Hotel positioned on the river meandering its way through picturesque Hoi An. Walking distance to the centre of all the activities of old Hoi An with an inexhaustible supply of great restaurants. Highly recommend…5 Stars

The hotel is in a perfect position for exploring the wonders of Hoi An, and what a delightful hotel it is! Beautiful and spacious room, a great breakfast on offer and a perfect swimming pool! This such is such a lovely hotel, conveniently located in a quiet riverside location away from the crowds, but stil only a short stroll from the old town. It has great riverside and old town views . The rooms are bright and spotlessly clean. Great buffet breakfast, with a variety of Vietnamese and western options. But the staff set this hotel apart. Sally and her team are delightful and nothihis touch trouble for them. This is the second visit for me in the past 2 years, and thankfully, nothing has changed.

Pretty much everything. Wonderful location, lovely staff, and a real sense of welcoming and help. The room was as described, with a balcony overlooking the river. The hotel is a very short walk to both the Night Market and the old town. Has a different pool area, as whilst open to the sky it’s in the basement level. So whilst the pool is under the building, the small lounge area is just outside the buildings footprint making it open to the sky. I really liked it these, and greatly enjoyed the shaded outdoor feel. I really can’t overstate how nice all the staff were, and how good everything felt. Breakfast was good with plenty of Asian and western options, including eggs to order.

We (5 people) stayed at Lantana for 4 nights. The rooms were spacious and tidy. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Hannah, Lilly and Sally who helped us many times. The location is a quick walk into the Old Town and close to the bars on the island opposite Old Town, but very quiet. Highly recommend!

Awesome stay on the river near old town. Our spacious room had a balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast was adequate. Staff helpful snd attentive. As an older ciuple we sometimes found the walk into town a bit far in the heat, however, Grab was quick and easy. Fantastic stay and excellent value for money.

The pricing at this hotel does not reflect the actual experience. It feels like a standard hotel setup despite the boutique branding. The breakfast menu is quite small. We specifically booked a riverfront cottage but were downgraded to a normal room. Additionally, the stay was very noisy due to nearby building works. I would not recommend this based on the current price point.

The location, just away from the main street so quiet at later evening. Hotel was spotless and spacious. We had a room with balcony at the front and lovely just to sit early morning or evening. All staff were brilliant, felt very looked after. Breakfast was great and being able to sit outside for this was great. I'd definitely want to stay here again

Simply the best in Hoi An! This was my fourth time staying at Lantana, and it honestly feels like coming home to family. The location is unbeatable—waking up to views overlooking the canal while being just a few steps away from the Old Town is incredible. A massive thank you to Sally, Jenny, Lily, and the whole team for their genuine warmth. They truly go above and beyond to make every guest feel special. I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!

The pool was a very welcome relief from the heat, but be aware, it’s quite small. Big enough for a cooling dip, but not the place you’re going to lie around relaxing for hours.

10/10 stay! My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon while in Hoi An. We were actually booked in somewhere else and when we arrived our room was filthy and decided to search for an alternative elsewhere. We were hot and exhausted when we stumbled in and Jenny completely turned our day around. She showed us room options and the other facilities before we made a decision. Once we decided to book she took the time to go through all of their recommendations (which were all fantastic). We were offered welcome juice and cold towels while we waited for them to prepare our room. It was clean and comfortable with great AC. The breakfast was awesome and location perfect for us. Walkable to everything we wanted to do but far enough away from the noise of the town to actually relax when we wanted to. All of the staff were amazing, but particularly Jenny made our time in Hoi An relaxing, fun and memorable. I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely stay here again for good value if/when we return to Vietnam.

We have just stayed at this beautiful hotel for nine days in April 2026. The Hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Old Town. Everything is easily accessible. I can't say enough about the hotel Everything is clean and very comfortable. The best part by far are the staff at this hotel. They are all so friendly and helpful, it makes for a very enjoyable stay. You will feel like family very quickly. Absolutely Wonderful.

I loved Lantana from the entrance to the room. Our room was beautiful. On the top floor looking at the river. Breakfast was great variety. The team of staff were very helpful and friendly. We had no problems at all. Recommend the hotel.

A beautiful small boutique hotel filled with charm and excellent location on the river and steps away from the old town . Loved our room in 4th floor with its balcony overlooking river , the Buffett breakfast was always fresh , with a wide selection of western and local cuisine. This Hotel was in a perfect spot for exploring the restaurants and lantern boats along the river. Clean rooms and wonderful caring staff, a special mention to Sally , Jenny and the other lovely ladies who looked after us. Location the hotel is really nice since it’s just outside of the busiest parts of town but close enough to walk. I would really recommend to stay here. The location of the property is really good.

The rooms are very small and the breakfast is very basic. Also so many stairs to get to the hotel we died carrying the stroller on all those steps

Second visit to this beautiful hotel. The location is perfect a 20 minute walk into the old town. The hotel is on the riverside so peaceful. We had a fantastic river view room so spacious and well appointed. The most important part of this experience is Lisa and her team, they were exceptional. Thank you Lantana we hope to be back for a 3rd visit

We stayed three nights at this hotel, which is directly across from the river, so has lovely views in the bar and breakfast area. We found a couple of things at this hotel which were annoying. The breakfast food was luke warm, unless you had made to order eggs and the coffee was just dreadful. Worse was the construction noise outside out window from early in the morning to late afternoon. The rooms have double glazed windows, but the noise is persistent and there was no sleeping in for us and even an afternoon nap to overcome jet lag was impossible. I mentioned this at check out, and was told yes the rooms can get quite noisy and then quickly moved the conversation on. We had twin beds, as I was with my friend, maybe other rooms are not affected, but it would have been nice to be advised about such an inconvenience prior to our arrival and we would have changed hotels. Before you book you room, check where its located. Holidays are for rest and relaxation, this hotel was a dissapointment
