Vanisko Hotel

An sich ist es ein ganz schönes Hotel das einen modernen Eindruck erweckt. Soweit war alles sauber und der Pool war schön. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Die Lage war okay, nicht im schönsten Viertel der Stadt und etwa 10-15min Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Ein Teil vom Personal ist zuvorkommend und wirklich freundlich. Das Bett ist sehr bequem gewesen. Für den Preis und ein kurzen Aufenthalt war es in Ordnung.

Die Dusche war definitiv zu klein und es gab kein Vorhang oder Glasscheibe egal wie sehr man aufpasste das ganze Bad war danach überflutet. Das hat man auch gemerkt die Badzimmertür war unten bereits komplett vom Wasser aufgequollen und sah nicht schön aus. Genauso wie andere Holzverkleidungen im Zimmer (wahrscheinlich durchs putzen mit zu viel Wasser. Außerdem ist das gesamte Hotel sehr hellhörig jede Bewegung des Zimmernachbarn oder allgemein auf dem Stockwerk kann man deutlich hören, was vor allem zu wenig Schlaf führt und man sich nicht besonders erholen kann. Die Frau an der Rezeption die am PC arbeitet war nichts besonders freundlich und unmotiviert, auf Gäste hatte sie wohl nicht besonders lust und das merkte man auch deutlich, die teilweise fluchend zu ihrer Kollegin gestikulierte. Der Lifeguard ist sehr unfreundlich und hat überhaupt keine Lust auf Urlauber, jede kleinste Bewegung wird strengstens überwacht dadurch fühlt man sich sehr belästigt und unwohl. Das restliche Personal ist ansonsten freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The building is little dated. The breakfast was really good, with a lot of vegetarian options, but almost none for vegans.

El personal fue muy amable. La piscina está bien para refrescarse, pero está todo bastante viejo y obsoleto.

El mantenimiento del hotel está bastante descuidado, por fuera parece tener mas calidad. El desayuno bastante sin más, no vale el precio que dice tener, mal café y fruta escasa, la mayoría almibarada. La ubicación tampoco es la mejor si no quieres coger el coche.

We only stopped for one night right after arriving in Heraklion. The staff was kind, and the room was functional for our short stay. We found several restaurants in the immediate vicinity, as well as a large supermarket.

The main road is really close to the hotel, but the night was quiet.

Η εξυπηρέτηση στη ρεσεψιόν. Οι περισσότεροι αδιάφοροι αγέλαστοι μη πρόθυμοι να εξυπηρετήσουν οριακά αγενείς!! Όταν ρώτησα να με ενημερώσουν για μια τοποθεσία αν είναι μακριά η κοντά μου απάντησαν αυστηρά και ορθά κοφτά "δείτε το google map".Όταν έφυγα ούτε κοίταξαν και το ευχαριστώ ήταν αγέλαστο και ψυχρο. Πρώτη φορά είδα τόσο αφιλόξενο ξενοδοχείο. Οσο για τα δωμάτια τα μπαλκόνια σκουρα γκρι και τσιμεντένια και παρα πολυ ψηλά πρεπει κανεις να σταθεί όρθιος για να δει εξω με αποτελεσμα το δωνάτιο να μοιαζει με μπουντρουμι!!στην ανακαίνιση δεν συμπεριέλαβαν τηννπόρτα του μπάνιου η οποία εχει αρχισει να σαπίζει.Το πατωμα ειναι καλυμένο με πλαστικο αποτελεσμα σε καποια σημεια που περναει η υγρασία να αρχιζει να ανασηκωνεται!!

El ruido por la noche, al estar la habitación justo al lado de la piscina. Estuvieron haciendo ruido hasta la 23h aproximadamente con la música a todo volumen. El tema del pàrquing es muy pequeño.

Il problema più grande per cui sconsiglio questa struttura è l'insonorizzazione delle camere, assolutamente carente. Si sente chiaramente il traffico proveniente dall'esterno durante la notte, auto, scooter.. anche se si è su piani rialzati. In più si sente tutto ciò che proviene dal corridoio, il rischio di non dormire o dormire male è altissimo, soprattutto se avete vicini di camera che fanno avanti e indietro tutta la notte. Le camere a livello estetico sono impresentabili, andrebbero rinnovate

Ottimo in tutto. Il ragazzo che parla benissimo l’italiano al reception è stato bravissimo, avevo chiesto un cuscino più duro e mi hanno portato subito in camera. Cucina diversa ogni giorno, piscina pulita.

Non c’è neanche l’acqua durante la cena. Si deve comprare a parte.

This was our first time staying at a hotel in Greece, and it was also our first time visiting Greece. The only thing that was a little different and interesting for us was the simply furnished rooms. (This is not a criticism, just an observation.) I was surprised by the lack of carpets or fitted carpeting, but I very quickly realized that there is actually a very practical reason for it. Swimming in the sea means bringing in a lot of sand and tiny pebbles. I would also like to apologize to the cleaning staff for bringing so much sand and gravel into our room despite our best efforts. You work incredibly hard, yet everyone is always smiling and willing to help. The cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. We received clean bed linen and towels without even having to ask, and the room is not just given a quick surface clean every day. Everything is cleaned thoroughly. We absolutely loved the staff. ❤️ The team at the pool bar, and all the wonderful people who helped us during meals. ❤️ Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about our stay. Everything was wonderful, and we had a fantastic time.

Les règles de la piscine qui étaient très strictes et les horaires de cette piscine etaient courtes pour ceux qui veulent faire d’autres choses la journée. De plus le monsieur qui surveille la piscine nous faisait carrément un décompte car la piscine fermait dans 10min et on le savait on voulait juste profiter de la fin mais si c’est pour venir nous voir toutes les minutes pour nous dire "il reste…minutes après ça on ferme" ça va deux minutes.

Moesten heel lang wachten bij het inchecken, kamer was niet klaar.Weinig parkeergelegenheid, slechte bedden en in de badkamer lagen de putjes open. Het zwembad gaat pas om 11 uur open en je hoort continue een hoop herrie van het verkeer. Voor ons nooit meer.

Το κατάλυμα είναι σχετικά κοντά στο κέντρο του Ηρακλείου απέναντι από μεγάλο σούπερ μάρκετ και φαρμακείο . Εχει ωραία πισίνα . Ωραίο πρωινό . Η πρωινή βάρδια στην εξυπηρέτηση πολύ καλή κ στη ρεσεψιόν και στο πρωινό ,ευγενικοί κ πρόθυμοι . Από απόγευμα κ μετά τελείως άλλη εξυπηρέτηση .

Δεν έχει πάρκινγκ και πρέπει να ψάχνεις είτε στο σούπερ μάρκετ είτε σε κάτι χωράφια μακριά να το αφήσεις . Μπροστά στο ξενοδοχείο έχει ένα μικρό χώρο αλλά σε κλείνουν οπότε πρέπει να κάνει τον παρκαδόρο ο ρεσεψιονίστ για να φύγεις Μια μέρα που μας έκλεισε αυτοκίνητο ζητήσαμε απ τη ρεσεψιονίστ να πάρει το αμάξι να μπορέσουμε να φύγουμε . Η απάντηση της περιμένετε ,πάμε λέμε στο αμάξι , καμία ώρα λέει θα περιμένετε . Δεν καταλάβαμε το απαράδεκτο χιούμορ ( είμασταν με παιδί ) και περιμένανε περιμέναμε με αναμμένο αμάξι όπου αφού κατέβηκε ο σύζυγος να δει τι γίνετε , καθόταν και κάπνιζε και έπινε καφέ . Μας ξέχασε λέει

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel and would like to express my sincere thanks to the manager and the entire team for their exceptional hospitality. The manager and all the staff — at reception, in the restaurant, and housekeeping — were extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming. The service was fast and efficient, and they always greeted us with a genuine smile, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed on a half-board basis with breakfast and dinner, both served as open buffets. The food was delicious, and the selection was rich, varied, and satisfying for both breakfast and dinner. The swimming pool was clean, spacious, and very pleasant, with beautiful seating areas. The pool bar also provided food and drinks in a very professional manner. The location is excellent, with very easy access to public transportation. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel, as well as a supermarket and mini-market nearby, which was very convenient. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. A big thank you to the manager and the entire team for making our stay so comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. We truly appreciated their kindness and excellent service, and we would be very happy to return again in the future.

The only aspect I was not completely satisfied with was the balcony. The balcony wall was relatively high, which significantly obstructed the view when sitting down.

Het personeel was niet vriendelijk en groette niet eens terug. Toen we om een vork vroegen om watermeloen te eten, werd ons verteld dat we geen vorken op de kamer konden gebruiken. Daarnaast was er erg veel lawaai in de gangen en ben ik 's nachts meerdere keren wakker geschrokken. Het geluid van de toiletventilator van de buren was ook duidelijk te horen in onze kamer. Over het algemeen was het erg teleurstellend.

A Hotel tiszta, rendezett. Medence tiszta. Személyzet kedves. Belváros közel van! Árértékben nagyon jó. 1-2 éjszakára tökéletes. Hosszabbra nem választanám.

A szobák már felújítandó állapotúak lennének, Booking képek nem fedik a valóságot. A hotel egy forgalmas főutcán van. Zajos. Autómosó és lepukkadt épületek vannak előtte. A tenger távolról látható. A reggeli mindennap ugyanaz a felhozatal volt. A hotel poros és szeles helyen van.

Το πρωινό πολύ καλό όντως.. η πισίνα καλή φαινόταν… το μπαρ σαν παροχή αξιόλογο.. και στη ρεσεψιόν το προσωπικό στη ρεσεψιόν πολυ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό.

Αγενής υπεύθυνος.. μυρμήγκια στο δωμάτιο.. και δεν υπήρχε δυνατότητα να απλώσεις πετσέτα και μαγιό στο μπαλκόνι να στεγνώσουν.. πέρα από τις καρέκλες..

Ho soggiornato solo una notte all hotel vanisko,ma ho avuto una buonissima esperienza. Stanza gradevole,staff gentile e disponibile. Non ho usufruito della piscina,ma era molto bella. A 10 minuti a piedi si trovano spiagge libere e attrezzate. Ci sono ben due supermercati sotto l' hotel e la fermata degli autobus è direttamente all' uscita della reception.

Proprietatea este frumoasă, bine poziționată pentru un acces rapid către centrul orașului Heraklion, dar și pentru orașul Rethymnon și Chania fiind autostrada aproape. Camera a fost foarte curată, fiind igienizată zilnic

Din păcate parcarea este aproape mereu plină, cheia de la mașină trebuie lăsată la recepție pentru a putea fi mutată, micul dejunul nu a fost diversificat. Piscina are niște reguli stricte pe care dacă le încalci ți se spune ca trebuie să o părăsești și foarte multă agitație în cadrul hotelului, multă gălăgie în timpul nopții cauzată de alte persoane cazate. Totodată dacă ai de gând să bei propria ta bere pe terasa hotelului, nu o poți face pentru ca din nou, regulile hotelului nu îți permit acest lucru. Hotelul are foarte multe reguli, dar tu ca individ nu prea ești respectat de către hotel

Виходячи з готелю - автобусна зупинка з якої можна доїхати до центру міста. До пляжу йти хвилин 5 і пляж дуже гарний. Хороші сніданки та прибирання в номерах. З балкону був вид на море. Навпроти готелю великий гіпермаркет. Всі співробітники дуже привітні.

La posizione è ottima, molto vicino all ingresso in autostrada ed all aeroporto . Gentilezza del personale dell accettazione . Il direttore ci ha offerto la possibilità di usufruire per tutto il soggiorno della cena a buffet.

Poca pulizia nelle stanze. Dentro la vasca idromassaggio c erano peli che sono rimasti li tutto il periodo del soggiorno. I teli della piscina sono a pagamento giornalmente Il buffet serale e scadente

Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό και μας εξυπηρέτησαν ευχάριστα. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και οι παροχές καλές. Στο πρωινό υπήρχαν πολλές επιλογές και ήταν νόστιμο.

Die Nähe zum Strand und die Geschäfte in der näheren Umgebung (Supermärkte, Restaurants) waren toll. Personal am Pool und an der Bar waren sehr freundlich, ebenso auch das restliche Personal an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück oder das Facility-Management-Personal. Die Zimmer waren schön sauber und hergerichtet. Generell jedoch sehr zufrieden mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis!

Die Isolation der Zimmer könnte besser sein, Gespräche am Gang hört man sehr laut, ebenso Geräusche von der Straße (z.B.. von Motorrädern). Die Öffnungszeiten des Pools von lediglich 11:00 bis 19:00 Uhr empfanden wir als ein wenig zu kurz. Gerade in den Sommermonaten ist ein großer Teil dieser Zeit aufgrund der sehr starken direkten Sonneneinstrahlung und der hohen UV-Belastung nur eingeschränkt nutzbar, ohne Sonnenbrände zu riskieren. Die frühen Morgenstunden sowie der spätere Abend wären hingegen besonders attraktive Zeiten für die Nutzung des Pools. Zum Beispiel von 06:00 Uhr-11:00 Uhr, und von 16:00-22:00 Uhr.

Il personale e le camere e la piscina

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel vicino a Heraklion e nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene. Un dettaglio che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato è stata la sorpresa per il nostro anniversario: il primo giorno ci è stata assegnata come upgrade una bellissima suite con vasca idromassaggio. La suite era davvero splendida e non abbiamo nulla da eccepire. Nei due giorni successivi siamo stati spostati in una camera standard, che rispetto alla suite era decisamente più piccola, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il bagno. È presente il frigorifero in camera. La posizione dell’hotel è molto comoda e, proprio di fronte, si trova un grandissimo supermercato, davvero utile per eventuali acquisti. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia e la biancheria, il cambio degli asciugamani viene effettuato ogni due giorni, mentre quello delle lenzuola ogni tre giorni. La colazione è stata una piacevole sorpresa: molto buona, varia e con una buona scelta di prodotti. L’unica nota meno positiva sono le solite macchinette automatiche per caffè e cappuccino, che purtroppo non offrono una qualità eccellente. Abbiamo provato anche la cena e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. La scelta non era particolarmente ampia, ma i prodotti proposti erano di ottima qualità e i piatti venivano preparati in modo semplice, valorizzando gli ingredienti senza troppi fronzoli. Nel complesso è stata una bella esperienza, con una buona qualità del cibo, una posizione comoda e, soprattutto, un upgrade inaspettato e molto gradito che ha reso ancora più speciale il nostro anniversario.

Per quanto riguarda gli aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati, soprattutto per la cena sarebbe apprezzabile avere una scelta un po’ più ampia, in particolare per chi non mangia carne. Sarebbe utile prevedere almeno una seconda alternativa a base di pesce, considerando anche la posizione dell’hotel in una località di mare. Anche il cambio degli asciugamani potrebbe essere effettuato quotidianamente, soprattutto in estate e in una struttura con piscina e vicina al mare. Nel bagno della camera standard, inoltre, sarebbe comodo avere qualche appendino in più per poter sistemare meglio gli asciugamani e gli effetti personali. Infine, abbiamo sentito la mancanza di uno stendibiancheria sul balcone: in una struttura al mare sarebbe sicuramente molto utile per poter stendere costumi e asciugamani dopo una giornata in piscina o in spiaggia.

Posizione molto comoda per chi ha la macchina (parcheggio nel supermercato se non disponibile in hotel). Camera molto carina, personale al bar e durante la colazione molto disponibile e attento.

Check in in ritardo di circa mezz'ora

Direct bus to Heraklion airport and tasty dinner (but only 2 type of meats to choose were available at a buffet dinner) were the only good things at this hotel, nothing else. Breakfast was just ok, but scrambled eggs from power. If you can, fly in/out from CHANIA AIRPORT. Heraklion airport is horrible and is known as the worst airport in Europe, unfortunately

Unpleasant staff at the reception treat customers like intruders rather than guests. Rude, patronizing, and very unprofessional attitude. Additional charges—not a deposit, but actual charges for pool towels—are absolutely inappropriate, especially since this is nowhere mentioned in the hotel description! The unpleasant receptionist with patronising voice even told us, ''you can use your own pool towels at the pool.'' Of course we don't have our own pool towels; we are on holiday! Pool towels are provided for FREE at any REPUTABLE hotel. Luckily, we only had a stopover and just needed a hotel relatively close to the airport, but this was a bad choice anyway. For our actual holiday, we luckily had a wonderful stay at Porto Platanias in western Crete (a much nicer area of Crete altogether). Vanisko Hotel is definitely NOT a holiday destination. Even the nearby beach (about 700-800 m away) is unpleasant, deserted, and has dirty sand. The hotel is located in a very poor, industrial area with not a single restaurant nearby. The only restaurant available is the one inside the hotel, which is the only good thing about Vanisko Hotel. Furthermore, the bathroom and the bathtub itself are very rundown and require renovation, and there is an unpleasant smell coming from the sewage system. Not a single bottle of water is provided in the room, which speaks for itself. No tea, coffee, or cups are provided either, despite there being a kettle in the room, which is another very weird thing. Only the lobby looks nice, but that is deceptive.Sorry, but I do NOT recommend this hotel. It is not a great value for money either."

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν υπέροχο ..κοντά σε σούπερ μάρκετ..και φοβερή πισίνα ..όλο το προσωπικό άψογο ..το πρωινό υπέροχο αλλά πιο πολύ μας έκανε εντύπωση Ο ναυαγοσώστης Παναγιώτης .. ένα υπέροχο πραγματικά καταρτισμένο άτομο ..πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει..ανά πάσα στιγμή !!!

Ottimo albergo ben servito e ospitale! Posizione perfetta per andare in giro per le spiagge e verso la città di Heraklion.

Le personnel de l’accueil était disponible et accueillant. La climatisation est efficace, même si elle est assez bruyante. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, avec la possibilité de le prendre à emporter, mais reste vraiment très standard avec des produits de qualité moyenne.

En revanche, plusieurs points nous ont déçus. La piscine était très froide (25 °C), avec une eau trouble, et n’ouvre qu’à 11 h. Le maître nageur était désagréable. Il y avait régulièrement du bruit la nuit à cause des portes qui claquent, des valises qui roulent et du personnel de ménage. L’hôtel est situé entre plusieurs routes avec un trafic permanent. La salle de bain n’a pas de rideau de douche ni d’espace pour poser ses affaires, le parking est minuscule et nous avons dû nous garer plus loin. Au final, un séjour correct, mais plusieurs points mériteraient vraiment d’être améliorés.

Der Poolbereich war leider eingeschränkt. Wir durften nach einen kleinen Snack an der Bar 2h nicht baden gehen. Im Pool durfte nicht gesprungen werden und auch kein Ball gespielt!

L'hôtel n'est pas dans une zone touristique. Il n'y a aucune vue et vous entendez le bruit de la rue et de la circulation quand vous êtes à la piscine

Banheiro sem bico fechado ou cortina, só tomaram providências depois de reclamação formal, ficamos metade da hospedagem com o piso de banho muito molhado e do quarto razoavelmente molhado. Estávamos em um grupo com crianças e elas foram praticamente expulsas da piscina, que é uma área de lazer porque estavam brincando.

Sve, odličan doručak. Odlično osoblje, lokacija je odlična. Sve je blizu i nadohvat ruke. Predivan hotel, došao bih ovdje ponovno.

Spremačice koje kada stavis na vrata oznaku očistite mi sobu molim vas. Ne očiste ju, a kada ne staviš ništa. Uđu same u sobu i očiste. I pritom ne mijenjaju ni jednom u 9 dana koliko smo mi bili na smještaju posteljinu.

Super hotel on the edge of Herakleion with fine reception and helpful staff. Fine breakfast 🍳 in a comfortable environment. Totally recommended.

Not the best of locations but perfectly fine for exploring. Once inside the hotel everything is totally wonderful.

Staff was superb! Breakfast was good, not very rich, but enough. Very nice view from the balcony if you stood up. If you were sitting at the table, you could see only the sky above you.

Shower curtain was horrible… It was sth improvised. Not ok at all. We bumped our legs also in the shower in something sharp on the edge every time we got out. Pool water too cold. My son came out with a cold after playing in the water. Hotel’s 15-20min from center. There is a bus though that leaves close to the hotel. Beach close to hotel is very dirty. Find another one.

La suite était spacieuse et très propre! Petites attentions très agréables: café, gel douche, shampoing, bouteilles d’eau offertes Le réceptionne nous a de suite aidé pour garer la voiture juste devant l’hôtel et a été très accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux avec des spécialités locales. Immense piscine très bien entretenue Supermarché juste à côté 5 minutes de l’aéroport et proche du centre ville

Das Hotel ist schwer zu finden, da Gebäude kein großes Hotell-Schild zu erkennen war und man daran vorbei fuhr.

Albergo molto pulito ,personale molto gentile e pronto ad ogni esigenza. Colazione internazionale ,abbondante e con soluzioni sia per celiaci che per allergie al latte. Bella la piscina. Letti comodissimi

Formula mezza pensione ottima: colazione e cena abbondanti e vari, sempre gustosi. Personale gentilissimo, camera ok, piscina pulita e curata.

Unica cosa la posizione non eccezionale ma compensata dal resto.

The hotel is located near the beach and it has a swimming pool too. The breakfast has a variety of products and everyday they add something new: pancakes, different fruits etc. The staff was nice and helpful.
