A good choice if you’re mainly looking for a convenient place to sleep between appointments and activities. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building, while the rooms have been renovated and are modern and up to date. However, the limited space and lack of a lounge area make it less suitable for relaxing at the hotel.

It's about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was clean and well located - I would go back, but only stay in this room type for a short stay - it's very compact.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Location is excellent for walking to hotspots, termini train station, shopping and restaurants. Busses right outside as well. Clean, good air conditioning (highly appreciated for our summer stay), comfortable bed. Would recommend Hesspresso restaurant around the corner as well.
One night there was no hot water for a shower, but I think they fixed the issue-always had hot water for the rest of our 9-night stay.

Reviewed Jul 19, 2026The location is great. Very convenient and easily accessible to the centre. The colosseum is 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is not very good, so avoid that and rather walk down and get breakfast from quite a few options within one block. The room size is decent and overall its a comfortable place to stay.
The breakfast was poor. The staff could be more polite. The elevator is very slow and small, so we had to wait quite a bit for it to empty and come to the desired floor. Especially with luggage it becomes a hassle.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Hôtel très agréable, parfaitement situé, proche de la gare Termini, du centre historique et sur l'axe principal très bien desservi par les bus. La prestation est de très bonne qualité : confort, propreté, personnel très à l'écoute.
L'ascenseur est très petit (à peine 2p avec sacs) et souvent occupé, donc nous montions les 3 étages à pied très fréquemment, pas tjs facile après plusieurs heures de marche sous la chaleur :) La vue de la chambre donnait sur une petite cour intérieure avec bcp de vis à vis : pas super, mais finalement nous nous sommes dit que c'était mieux que d'avoir la vue sur l'axe principal très bruyant.

Reviewed May 29, 2026Cama e chuveiro bons . Limpeza do quarto e atenção de deixarem uns itens para comer pois íamos sair cedo . A localização é excelente e o ar-condicionado idem.
O prédio é antigo , tem um elevador minúsculo e muito antigo . As áreas comuns necessitam de pintura , tudo sujo . Não tem restaurante / bar . Coisas amontoadas , caixas , cadeiras . Enfim , pelo preço q cobram precisam se estruturar melhor.

Reviewed May 26, 2026L’emplacement et la propreté des lieux.
La chambre est sommaire et il n’y a même pas une bouteille d’eau de bienvenue. Le support du pommeau de douche se situe uniquement au niveau de la taille et aucune protection capillaire n’est fournie pour activer la douche à l’italienne sans se mouiller les cheveux. Nécessité de tenir le pommeau pendant la douche ce qui n’est pas confortable. De l’eau tombe sur le sol car la vitre de séparation n’est pas assez profonde. Résultat, risque de chute. Des odeurs remontent dans la salle de bain. Un soir, la VMC était activée sans que l’on puisse la désactiver depuis notre chambre. Un membre du personnel a appelé la maintenance pour la faire désactiver depuis le local de maintenance. L’explication fut que les femmes de ménage activent quotidiennement ce bouton et que l’une d’elles avait dû oublier de le désenclencher; sous-entendu le problème des mauvaises odeurs est connu. D’importants travaux ont lieu dans l’immeuble qui juxte celui de l’hôtel (vus par nous-mêmes). Le personnel fait mine de ne pas savoir en nous indiquant que les nuisances sonores (coups de massue et de marteau dès 7h voire parfois plus tôt) proviennent probablement de la rue (alors que nous dormions côté cour). Résultat, les réveils très matinaux furent fort désagréables.

Reviewed May 15, 2026Das Zimmer war eher klein, aber sehr sauber und das Bett bequem. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind superfreundlich. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel, wenn man nicht bergauf gehen will, kann man aber mit dem Bus fahren was in Rom sehr einfach ist. Frühstück ist eher einfach gehalten, aber gut.
Der Frühstücksbereich ist zu klein und daher laut. Ich hätte mir in Italien einen besseren Kaffee erhofft.

J'ai tout appréciée je ne mets pas 10 seulement parce-que l'emplacement peut être meilleur et le petit dejeuner pourrait être amélioré 👍

If you have problems with stairs then be patient as the lift was quite small. It wasn’t a problem to us.
