Hay que tener cuidado en servicios en general, cuando lo eliges pone aire acondicionado en general pero después no tenía, aunque me ofreció uno con aire por 100 baths al día. El cierre de las puertas podrían mejorar por el ruido que hacen

It was a beautiful stay at a very convenient place! The stuff was extremely nice and helpful! Honestly, the hotel was as the setting of a film comes alive!

La ubicación es perfecta y la piscina está genial. Las habitaciones son amplias aunque el colchón no es muy cómodo.

La limpieza no era la mejor del mundo.

La chambre quadruple est spacieuse et à même un petit coin salon et d’un bureau Comme tous les hôtels dans le carré central de chang mai, on est proche de tous les temples, restaurants, massages, boutiques… mais celui là étant situé dans une rue étroite et à côté d’un temple (wat Chiang man), le calme y règne la nuit. La piscine est agréable est assez grande. Le gérant nous a été d’une grande aide pour organiser nos journées en réservant pour nous les excursions. Le petit déjeuner a la carte est ok. Nous avons même prolongé de deux jours sur place! Nous n’avons demandé qu’une fois un cinq jours que la chambre soit nettoyé et cela a été très bien fait.

Pour une chambre de 4, nous n’avons pas eu exactement ce que nous avions réservé (un grand lit et deux petits mais deux grands) mais nous avons rien réclamé à la réception car cela nous convenait car la vue sur le temple nous plaisait. Une légère difficulté d’organisation pour faire sécher quatre serviettes car pas grand chose de prévu pour cela. Devoir en repartir

Location location. Next to best part old town. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and nice roof terras for quiet reading. Superb view on temple.

J'ai vraiment tout aimé : accéder à la piscine quand il fait chaud, avoir des conseils avec le personnel, le soin apporté à mes affaires avec le service de buanderie, la vue sur le Wat Chiang Man depuis ma chambre et la piscine, l'emplacement qui m'a permis de faire toute la vieille ville at pied tranquillement. C'est un hôtel où il fait bon pour se poser et profiter.

La piscine est très agréable après une journée dans la ville de Chiang Mai. En prime, on aperçoit un joli temple depuis la piscine et le restaurant :)

Lovely authentic feel to the building and its interior. The staff are very kind and accommodating, this is our second time staying at the SK House. The pool has a lovely view of the temple and the roof terrace has a great view also. Simple but everything you need, would definitely recommend staying here 10/10 and great value for money! Thank you :)

We loved our stay

Great location- a minute walk from a 7/11 and near loads of nice restaurants. Decently big rom also with a fridge which is great. Comfortable and simple!

The shower water pressure kept “pulsing” whenever we tried to shower which wasn’t great but there was hot water which was good.

De sfeer in de lobby was een beetje onaangenaam. Zelf had ik de budget kamer geboekt, dat is niet aan te raden. Vrienden van mij hadden de standaard kamer die wel echt een stuk beter was.

La ventilation de la salle de bain fait beaucoup de bruit mais heureusement c’est en allumant la lumière. Aussi il n’y pas d interrupteur côté lit ni de prise qui ne sont pas toujours évident.

I didn’t like a single thing had to leave after 1day!

When I first stepped in we got greeted with no smile and was very strange environment! We got took to our rooms which absolute stunk. There was patches of paint all over the wall where they covered damp on the walls. The bed was like sleeping on a brick. So we left after one day and would never return absolutely disgusting hotel. Also woke up with bites all over my body from bed bugs

Kids loved the pool and pineapple shakes. We loved the location and very helpful staff. Lim was super helpful. Everything he recommended was spot on for our family of 5. The elephant day out was just perfect. He even organised food for us with our allergies.

Unfortunately the drains were bit stinky from time to time but that is usual.

We liked the location and how helpful the staff were for helping to book tours. The gym and rooftop were beautiful for a great view at sunrise and sunset. The room was very spacious.

If there was space to lay around the pool in the sun that would’ve been great. The breakfast didn’t have that many vegan options but we still enjoyed it.

Die Lage ist perfekt mit Aussicht auf den ältesten Tempel von Chiang Mai. Gute Aussicht von der Dachterrasse. Der Swimmingpool ist super. Schönes Ambiente. Super Service. Das Zimmer war riesig.

Le manque d'entretien des chambres

I write reluctantly a negative review of my time at SK House 2. Good pointers would be the strong wifi connection and pool facility. Also I was given an upper floor room with a nice view of the pool and temple, which I appreciated. Unfortunately that is where positive comments end. The rooms are not kept to hygienic standards. I found hairs on the floor upon arrival in multiple places. There were small ants in both the bedroom and in the bathroom. There was a poor shower function (cold and just sprayed water at the wall) and the sockets are not beside the bed head. While suitably sized, the bed is very hard. This was fine for two nights but not for any longer. A particular mention to the ‘fitness facility’. While photos on location advertise a treadmill, a pull down machine and some free weights, when I was there the treadmill was very much dead (broken), there was no pull down machine. There were two free weights to 10kg. When I approached the staff for assistance they showed little interest and no apology. There is no AC in the ‘fitness room’ either. My stay here was quite unpleasant and this was to be my review. I have stayed in 5 other locations during my time in Thailand this month including shared dorms for half the price and have had much better experiences in places cheaper. The lack of cleanliness I find particularly unforgivable. An ongoing issue I am encountering with again unhelpful owner is the issue that my card was charged for pre payment AND I was asked to pay in cash upon arrival. I spoke with a kind worker on my last evening there and spent an hour with him at reception. He was kind but indicated his boss would not refund the double payment, and to get on to Booking.com, which I had and who had advised me to ‘email the property’. I hope this matter resolves. Either way, if you would like a comfy and clean stay I would avoid this place unfortunately. Plenty other local options and I hope that the place can improve for future guests.

Good value for money

Great location in Old Town. Walk anywhere. The pool was very welcoming after a day out and about.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and a good size. Nicely decorated.

Beds were fairly hard. Hot water in the shower didn't work despite being looked at. Quite expensive in relation to other hostels i have booked which have been on a lower price point and been more comfortable.

Closeness to everything and rooftop terrace

You had to empty own bins which was not a problem but didn’t know had to ask and change towels when dirty

There are people smoking in the lobby all day which can be unpleasant for non-smokers The rooms with fan are not cleaned everyday. My pillow cover also had holes in it. The fridge is not working when not in the hotel (electricity goes with the key) so not ideal if you want to refresh after exploring outside all day. Very basic rooms.

Old, smelly

The location was quiet. The tour to the elephants/bamboo rafting was very nice.

The staff was lazy and rude, not helpful or arranging at all. The restaurant was only serving breakfasts ( if you could find someone to order it...). The pool has no edge to relax on a chair or lounger. We left after 4 nights and lost 3 nights because the service was so poor.

Had to put towel at bottom of door to stop the smell of cigarettes smoke from coming in . Very basic room window looking 1 meter into next hotel window

The location of the hotel was great. Just beside the temple. The staff were fantastic.

Great location across from a temple, so it is quiet at night. Close to many small restaurants.

Ideally located in a quiet soi in the Old Town. Staff very good and helpful.Good value for price.

Bed was on the hard side but still slept well.

The breakfast (which we had booked) was very basic. A thai option as well as option for good coffee would have been nice - but ok for the price.
