Bonsai Villa Hoi An

We absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the villa. It’s quiet and peaceful, yet still within a short walking distance of the Old Town. You can also use the free bicycles to cycle around and explore the area. The owners are some of the nicest people we’ve ever met so friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist with everything. With their help, we organized all our airport transfers, trips, and activities, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. And their collection of bonsai trees is truly impressive! 🌿 We highly recommend staying here and would happily come back! ❤️ I should also mention that the breakfasts are absolutely delicious and very generous! There is also a spa right next door to the villa, offering a great selection of massages and treatments, which is perfect for a little extra relaxation during your stay.

There is no lift, so if you have mobility issues make sure to ask for a ground floor room.

Buena ubicación al otro lado del centro de Hoi An a 10 minutos andando. La familia es encantadora y te ayuda con todo lo que necesitas. El desayuno no es buffet, pero hay una amplia carta para elegir y te lo hacen al momento. La piscina es una gozada y las habitaciones son amplias. Muy buena opción para alojarse en Hoi An para disfrutar de la ciudad, pero tener un poco de relax.

Excellent value for money. The host family are highly communicative, helpful, and consistently pleasant. The property features a beautiful bonsai garden and sits in an great location—only a 5-10 minute walk from the old town. It is far enough away to avoid the noise, yet still very convenient.

There is no elevator, which didn't bother us, but anyone with mobility needs can book one of the several ground-floor rooms. The bathroom in the family room was a bit old, but clean.

My second stay at Bonsai! Lovely clean hotel with a beautiful pool, but the best part is Autumn and her family who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! Nothing is too much trouble. It was my birthday during the stay and I was given a lovely birthday cake and gorgeous bracelet! The loveliest place to stay in Hoi An!

Nos gustó mucho la amabilidad de la familia que tiene este negocio y la piscina y sus bonsáis, sin lugar a dudas un lugar muy bonito . Además te prestan sus bicis y puedes ir cómodamente al centro desde allí.

Nada. En general todo bien. El único inconveniente es que se fue la luz por una tormenta fuerte y estuvimos una hora o así sin luz, pero por lo visto es algo habitual allí, por poner algún pero. Pero la familia lo solucionó en seguida que pudo con un generador. De verdad que eran muy amables

One of the loveliest places we've stayed anywhere. Bonsai Villa is a small, family-run hotel on Trần Trung Tri in Cẩm Nam, just across the bridge from Hội An Ancient Town. Autumn and her family are truly the heart of the place. Her genuine warmth and care make you feel completely at home from the moment you arrive. She is incredibly generous with her time, offering great advice on the best places to visit, where to shop, and how to get the most out of the town It's on the quieter side of the river, which we loved—especially at night, when you can wander down and take in the boats and the lanterns without the crush of the crowds. We were there for my wife's birthday and I'd ordered flowers for the room—what Autumn put together completely exceeded my expectations, beautifully arranged with a personal message. It’s exactly that kind of thoughtful touch that defines how they look after people. The gardens are extraordinary and worth the stay on their own. Autumn's husband has been tending the bonsai for many years—some of them since he was fourteen—and it shows in every tree. There's a koi pond with a little red bridge, and a clean, quiet pool ringed by frangipani and mango trees. After a warm day walking around the markets, it was absolutely lovely to come back and slip into that beautiful pool to cool down. The rooms are spacious and spotless with big balconies, the breakfast has a great selection, and they provide bikes to easily get into town. If you want somewhere in Hội An with real warmth and personal care, somewhere tranquil but still an easy walk to the Old Town, stay here. We'd come back any time we're in Vietnam.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen – es war einfach alles bestens! Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, das Frühstück lecker und der Pool perfekt zum Entspannen. Auch das gesamte Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben auch den Wäscheservice in Anspruch genommen, innerhalb von 12 Std. hatten wir die frische Wäsche wieder zurück. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön an Frau Autumn, die unsere An- und Abreise perfekt organisiert und sich wunderbar um alles gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank auch für den tollen Service, dass wir unser Gepäck für zwei Tage sicher im Hotel lassen durften, während wir auf den Cham-Inseln waren. Das hat unsere Reiseplanung sehr erleichtert und wir haben diese Unterstützung sehr geschätzt. Bei der Abholung des Gepäcks durften wir sogar die Dusche benutzen. Die Weiterreise per Nachtbus war für uns und unsere Mitreisenden deshalb viel angenehmer :-). Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! ❤️

Un trato excepcional, son muy serviciales y amables, nos han ayudado en todo lo que necesitábamos. La ubicación está genial, prácticamente en el centro, y hay servicio gratuito de bicicletas. En general muy bien calidad precio.

Breakfast was superb, prompt and served by friendly staff. Beautiful fruit, noodles and fresh juice. Pool was a great place to cool off and was very clean. Balcony was a fantastic feature.

Wifi was a bit slow, but everything else was excellent. Staff were very kind and generous, spoke perfect english and called us a taxi to da Nang with a fixed price.

We had an excellent stay! The host was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. She also helped us arrange tours at very good prices, and everything was well organized. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Highly recommended!

Everything!! Awesome place close to the old town but far enough away to be nice and quiet and easy walking distance to most things. Staff and owners were simply awesome we loved our stay there not to mention the pool for when it got to hot 🥵. Facilities clean and tidy and great menu for breakfasts each day. My family loved Bonsai Villa and we will be back. Thanks for making our trip to Hoi An so much better 😊

Autumn est d'une grande aide et d'une efficacité remarquable : elle s'occupe de vous trouver les transferts et toutes vos activités toujours au juste prix, ce qui est tellement appréciable et rassurant. ​Toute la famille est de très bon conseil pour dénicher de bonnes adresses où manger. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Les chambres sont très propres. La villa est à peine à 10 min à pieds de la vieille ville dans une ruelle au calme. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiques. Merci à Autumn et sa famille pour ce séjour, nous recommandons !

Loved everything about this accommodation. Autumn is a wonderful hostess who helps you out in every way. She’s very friendly and has attention to details. The room was very clean and spacious plus a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well. After a day in the sun, you can return a go for a swim in the beautiful outdoor swimming pool all the while enjoying the view of the many different Bonsai trees throughout her property. The property is a short walk to the old town market area plus GRAB transportation are only minutes away. There’s a wonderful spa right next door as well!!

Nice property away from the hustle and bustle of the old town but close enough to walk. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the use of free bikes to explore and of course the pool.

La tranquillità e la disponibilità

Tout!!! Dans le détail, le personnel, toujours attentif, disponible et très gentil. La chambre confortable, douée de tout confort; un petit déjeuner foisonnant dans le calme devant un jardin de bonsaïs. A deux pas de l’ancienne ville de Hoi An et en même temps à l’abri de tout vacarme. J’y retournerais à l’instant.

The location of this hotel was superb. Easy walking distance to the old town but so quiet and enough away from the bustle. Pool was lovely and the food was good. There is a great coffee shop just around the corner too.

The wi-fi wasn't great and there was a pipe next to the toilet that had water coming out of it from who-knows-where and there was some mould in the grout.

How friendly the staff were

We had the best time staying at Bonsai Villa! The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable! Good showers too. The pool is a very welcome addition in the heat and the included breakfast was excellent! But the biggest highlight of our stay was the way Autumn and her family took care of us and made us feel welcome. They were such lovely hosts and so kind to our two children, even bringing them an ice cream in the pool one day! We definitely hope to return to Bonsai Villa one day ❤️

Good location in a calmer area with everything reachable by foot (or bikes that can be asked to hosts). Kindness of the host. Inner area with swimming pool and good vibe.

Beautiful owners and beautiful accommodation. We were situated in the corner (204) by the koi pond so had a stunning view from our patio. The room was spacey with a great bed and a big bathroom. The breakfast was cooked to order based on your choice from the menu the day before. The pool was a decent size and welcome after a long walk in the old town. The owners were extremely kind and helped with transfers at both end of the trip. Probably the key attraction for me is that it's on Cam Nam island, so an oasis from the tourist scrum, but just a ten minute walk to the old town. Perfect!

Un véritable havre de paix, les propriétaires sont très attentionnés et souriants. Le cadre est magnifique, de jolis bonsaïs, une piscine propre et un très bon petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont très grandes, la literie est bonne et tout est très propre. Vous rejoignez le centre en 10min à pied (fait avec enfants de 4 et 7ans). Un vrai coup de cœur.

Es war wie ein Nach Hause kommen. Die Kage ist grossartig, in einer ruhigen Gegend, 10 Minuten in die Fussgängerzone. In 5 Minuten ist man am Fluss, wo es auch die bunten Boote hat. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und gross. Mein Zimmer hatte einen Balkon, den ich, weil ich vom reisen gerade in Hoi An einen Hänger hatte, richtig geniessen konnte. aabsolut empfehlenswert dieses hübsche Hotel.

Gorgeous setting and well maintained. We had the pool to ourselves on a couple of occasions in the afternoon which felt luxurious. The room was clean and the bed was the best we’ve had the whole trip. We received a warm and friendly welcome with lots of helpful information provided. Few bars and shops a short walk away and then a 10-15 min walk over the bridge into the market/old town.
